Lynn: Hi babe. [pulls Owen by the shirt for passionate kiss]
[Clerk's eyes widen, Joe stands with gaping mouth.]
Leader: When the MacLeods left you, the younger one killed one of our men.
Joe: That's impossible. He couldn't have misunderstood.
Leader: He didn't misunderstand, Joe. He didn't care.
Joe: We've been watching both MacLeods for centuries.
Leader: People change.
Lynn: [as Joe and Leader come in from balcony] Daddy, look who's here. [Leader turns. He & Owen stare at each other in recognition.] I thought you guys might know each other.
Owen: I'm afraid not my dear. [holds out his hand] Owen MacLeod, it's so good to finally meet you.
[pause]
Owen: Owen MacLeod. Pleased to meet you. [offers his hand]
Leader: [reluctantly shakes Owen's hand] James Horton.
