The Token Yun-Farron Son

It has been a few years since Lightning and Fang have been in the maternity ward of the hospital. It was a few years ago, they became first time parents to their daughter Seven. Lightning's time carrying Seven in her womb, according to Fang, was close to a nightmare, because it was a year after Seven was born that those doctors told the Fangrai couple that if Seven wants a younger sibling, Fang has to be the one who gets pregnant for that to happen, due to varying health concerns tied to Lightning not long after Seven was born. Although they weren't happy about it, Fang had a secret vow to carry the second child without a second thought. Sunshine...I mean Claire, this one is for us and Seven. You are my world... Fang thought to herself while doing the needed treatments to give Seven a younger sibling. Speaking of the silver haired girl, she preferred a younger brother of all things. Needless to say, it not only took the brunette a shorter time to get pregnant compared to the older Farron, but when the time came to know the gender, she was carrying a boy. Seven has been over the moon ever since she found out that she was going to be a real Big Sis. It was thanks to the encouragement from Hope, Locke & Serah that Fang went through on her promise to help expand the Yun-Farron family.

Initially, Fang was very hesitant to get pregnant, and the original idea was for Lightning to carry the 2nd child while Fang carried the first child. Thanks to varying tests done on Lightning, that Celes Cole herself paid for, Lightning had to be the one to carry the first child, as there wouldn't be any guarantee that she would be able to carry the 2nd child without putting a major risk on her life. It wasn't the easiest decision to make, it turned out to be the best decision to make. Lightning, after Seven's birth, became even more grateful to have Fang in her life this way. Last year, Lightning was able to finally come back to the Guardian Corps full time from her lengthy paid maternity leave so that Seven has some of the best first years of her life as possible, something that the pinkette fully took advantage of, as it meant that she gets to be away from on Jihl Nabaat, who is said to have gone to the education field after her tenure in PSICOM. The exact reason for this is unknown, but Lightning's fucks went out the window. Her family was Lightning's only concern. With Fang now carrying their son, the older Farron can release a sigh of relief, as she doesn't have to worry about the risk of carrying the 2nd child because she carried Seven, who everyone calls Lightning's Miracle, and Seven physically looking like the pinkette is the icing on the cake.

With people waiting for the news of Fang giving birth to Lasswell, the name the Fangrai couple agreed on, with Raiden as his middle name - Fang's paternal grandfather - one thing that Lightning herself insisted. Lucien and Enya were made aware of the 2nd pregnancy and the blanket tradition continued, as the blanket Lasswell is set to get as a gift would have equal meaning to the blanket Seven was given when she was born a few years before. Seven doted on Fang's womb as much as she's been allowed to, which surprised everyone, considering that the oldest girl in the family may or may not get jealous when they have a younger sibling to think about, something that is not know about Lightning's relationship with Serah when they were younger. There were times where Seven helped Fang with varying things tied to the pregnancy so that her younger brother Lasswell is born one healthy baby, all with the help from the people who know what they are doing (Serah and Vanille). Granted, a toddler like Seven shouldn't be helping out with stuff like this per Lightning, but the younger Farron sister plus the redhead from Oerba guided Seven on what she was able to do when the time was right to do whatever. When finding out why Seven is so happy to meet her younger brother, it was something that Lightning was warned about Seven's dream to open an orphanage one day.

With this being late January, Lasswell Raiden Yun-Farron was one healthy boy when he came into this world. All the love from the people who matter to him the most, and Seven Michaela Yun-Farron is one happy Big Sis. While it's known that Lasswell is the token Yun-Farron, he would turn out to be FIERCELY protective of the women in his family, who he sees as his equals in life despite the age difference between him and the rest.

When they became adults, Lasswell still refers to Seven as his Big Sis, while she sees him as Lassbrat.

An unbeatable combo as siblings.
