"Push, Nora, the child is crowning, it's almost over!" said Nora's husband, Torac. Despite his handle on the situation, Torac was horribly nervous. Then again, what orc wouldn't be nervous at the birth of his first child. But he knew his wife could do it. She was the strongest woman he had ever known. With one last push, the child came out and Torac immediately went to check on the newborn. "Torac…?" asked Nora. Torac said nothing and let their daughter answer instead. Nora was relieved to hear her daughter start to cry, and Torac happily picked up his newborn, half orc daughter and gently brought her to her mother. Nora gently took her daughter and let her nurse. "Isn't she the most beautiful thing you have ever seen, Torac?" asked Nora. Torac lay down next to his wife. "Yes, she is, Nora, she looks like me except she has blue eyes like you. Otherwise, she looks just like an orc." Said Torac. "Does that bother you, Torac?" asked Nora. "Not at all, Nora. I am sure she will be as strong and beautiful as you." Stated Torac. The two adults kissed then looked on at their daughter with love and pride as she finished her first meal and snuggled up against her mother to sleep. "What should we name her, Torac?" "How about…Luna? I think it fits because the moon above is full." Said Torac. Nora looked at her sleepy daughter and agreed they should name her Luna.
(Nya's inner thoughts)
"So, I'm a half-orc, huh? This will take some getting used to. At least my parents seem nice."
The newborn half-orc fell asleep.
