Chapter 1 A new Universe
Within a heavily advanced station stood a man in unique armor looking at some screen. (Picture the Didact's armor but it glows green instead of orange)
"Observe this. Observe that. Seriously our lifestyle is just so boring."
On the screens appeared two different groups.
They were in truth from different universes.
The Universe of the Justice League and the Universe of the Avengers.
Both universes had many similarities with one another but also differences.
And the person monitoring them both was charged with monitoring them for anything useful for archive data.
"Please. Like they have anything new that would make our universe better."
"Kruger."
The one called Kruger was known as Sean Alexander Ashburn Kruger. He was what was known as an Immortal from the planet Elysium. He had white skin with short brown hair and forest green eyes with a large build.
Immortals had long existed with no violence nor hatred but were the only species that lived within the universe due to an extinction level event that occurred billions of years ago. Thus they were the only species that lived in the universe but made it a paradise.
At least to everyone but him.
In Sean's eyes everything was too perfect. Nothing truly changing or anything new happening every day of every year just an endless cycle that benefited no one else.
The person who called to him was one of his best friends known as Johnathan Ivan Reznov who also had white skin and brown hair but purple eyes in military armor.
"Hey Reznov." Sean said sitting in a chair that materialized.
"You look bored man." Reznov said amused making him sigh.
"I hate this Job. Monitoring other universes to archive anything that happens. Seriously. All this power we got an we do nothing with it." Sean said making him chuckle.
"Would you rather be in those universes where everything is so flawed?"
Sean looked seeing another friend known as Julia Mactavish who had brown hair in a pony tail with white skin brown eyes with glasses on in white lab coat.
"I just wanna do more." Sean said hearing a giggle making him look before someone appeared behind him making him look seeing a three year old girl with blonde hair brown eyes and white skin giggling. "Sarah." Sean said picking his sister up who giggled.
"There she is."
Sean looked seeing his older brother David Kruger who had black hair cut short with white skin and blue eyes in military armor.
And beside him was the adoptive brother Turok who was 13 years old with tan skin brown hair and dark blue eyes.
"Keep an eye on her. I got enough on my plate as it is." Sean said putting her down.
"Still complaining about how life is?" David asked not seeing her go to the controls.
"Don't you wanna do more in life? Experience new things? Do something worthwhile? Our life is too perfect is what I see. And thats boring. Thats why I took this job so I can see the possibilities beyond the rim." Sean said.
"Well, he's got a point. I mean we're all military but we never actually fight." Reznov said as Sarah started messing with the controls.
"Exactly I...Wheres Sarah?" Sean asked before they saw her at the controls. "SARAH NO!" Sean yelled as she pressed a button before the whole place glowed.
"Uh oh." Turok said.
Meanwhile in the Justice League Universe
"So what we're a bunch of Super Friends?" Flash asked.
"More like a...Justice League." Superman said.
"You have any idea how corny that sounds?" Flash asked before the whole place shook.
"Whats happening?" Lantern asked before a bright flash occurred.
In the Avengers Universe.
"Fury's right." Iron Man said shocking the others.
"What? You of all people are gonna work for SHIELD?" Wasp asked skeptical.
"No...He's right about us making a difference. Alone we take down one or two villains. But 74 we don't stand a chance. But we can change things. The world needs us. But not as SHIELD Agents. As a team on our own. Together we can avenge all the wrongs caused by all these villains." Iron Man said.
"We can be Avangers." Wasp said.
"Good name." Hulk said before the ground shook confusing them.
"Ok last I checked New York doesn't get Earthquakes." Ant Man said before the same bright flash appeared.
Later
Sean woke up with a groan seeing himself on the ground with Sarah next to him.
"SARAH!" Sean yelled rushing to her as he picked her up making her groan rubbing her eyes.
"Sorry." Sarah said making him smile softly.
"It's ok. But I think we might be in a situation here." Sean said seeing they were in New York.
Meanwhile
Superman was flying through the City seeing everything that was new.
"Batman are you detecting anything here?" Superman asked.
"Whatever that flash was everything has changed." Batman said on the Tower.
Thats when Ironman flew up.
"Whoa. Never seen you before." Ironman said.
"And I haven't seen you either. Who are you?" Superman asked as his faceplate came up.
"Name's Tony Stark. Iron Man when I'm wearing this. And you are?" Tony asked.
"Superman. I assume you saw that flash?" Superman asked.
"I did. Everything is completely different. Plus the Earth's mass has also doubled along with new Landmasses." Tony said.
"He's right. I'm detecting that as well." Batman said on the comms.
"How did this happen?" Superman asked.
"I don't know." Tony said.
"I do." Sean said flying up to them in his armor with his sister on his back. "And Its all her fault." Sean said amused making her stick her tongue out.
"I'm sorry who are you?" Tony asked amused by the display.
"Sean Alexander Ashburn Kruger. We're not from either Universe you two came from originally." Sean said.
"Universes...Oh now it all makes sense. Two universes merged together. I always believed in the Multiverse theory but it's never been confirmed...Till now at least." Tony said.
"Yeah. We're from a universe so advanced that it makes all your tech look like a baby's toy. And My Job back then was monitoring each universe for study." Sean said.
"So how did they merge together?" Superman asked.
"Because of her messing with my station." Sean said as Sarah blew a raspberry at him making them chuckle.
"And how did a 3 year old cause that?" Fury asked below them making him face him seeing Maria with them before flying to them.
"What kids don't do dumb things?" Sean asked putting her down as Maria looked at her.
"Hi." Sarah said waving making her smile softly picking her up.
"Ok...Maybe you should start at the beginning with everyone around to better understand this." Maria said.
"Fair enough." Sean said.
Later
"So your from another universe thats not from either of ours." Hank said as they were on the new SHIELD hellicarrier.
"Yeah. We're from a universe so advanced it makes everything here look like a joke." Sean said sitting in a chair with his sister in his lap.
"So how did you merge both universes?" Fury asked.
"My job was monitoring every Universe we knew about like yours." Sean said.
"You monitor universes?" Tony asked.
"Why?" Batman asked.
"To learn from them. See what they do in each universe and document it all. Like your fights for example." Sean said.
"Sounds like an exciting life." Hank said smiling.
"Hardly. I hate how everything is back home." Sean said shocking him. "Everything is always the same day in and day out. Nothing ever changing. We have all this power and we don't even do anything with it. And since we're the only sentient species in our universe we live in every corner of the universe. There is such a thing as too perfect." Sean said making some laugh.
"I can understand that." Superman said.
"But...You live in a universe where's theres no violence or any kind of problems...How can you hate it?" Hank asked.
"You try living every day doing the same thing over and over and over again and nothing ever changing. No new things to do. No excitement in life. Just do the same thing every day and it getting you nowhere." Sean said.
"I see. You want to do something more." Hawkgirl said.
"Yeah. So monitoring each universe showed the good things of every universe and the bad. It was the closest I was gonna get to any excitement in my life." Sean said making Hank frown lightly.
"But how did our universes merge together?" Wonder Woman asked
"Her fault not mine." Sean said making Sarah stick her tongue out making some laugh.
"And how does a three year old merge universes?" Wasp asked amused.
"By messing with the controls when I wasn't looking." Sean said.
"Oooh." Tony said.
"Yeah she's always getting into trouble. But I need some help. My brothers and my two friends are missing right now." Sean said.
"We'll find them. Shouldn't be too hard to find some guys with high tech." Maria said.
Thats when they got an alert showing David fighting against Parasite who was losing badly to him.
"Wow he's got some sweet armor on." Flash said as Sean placed Sarah with Wasp.
"Keep an eye on her would ya?" Sean asked.
"Sure." Wasp said smiling as he vanished. "Now why don't I show you all the good things our world has." Wasp said making her laugh as they walked off.
Meanwhile
Parasite yelled in pain as David punched him down hard.
"Normally my people absolutely despise violence. But considering you were hurting children...I'll make an exception." David said as he had a bow come to his hand before firing a high tech arrow at his stomach making him roar in pain.
Thats when he noticed something.
"Whats happening to me!" Parasite screamed before his body began to turn back to normal as the arrow vanished.
"Little something to get rid of all that bile in your system." David said standing over him with his visor glowing red making him tremble.
"Enough David." Sean said flying down to him as his helmet went into his armor.
"Ok where is she? You know we're all in some serious trouble." David said making him chuckle.
"Let's find the others first." Sean said as they left while Rudy passed out.
"Wow. He actually turned him back to normal." Superman said floating down to him.
"When he said their technology was more advanced than anything we have he really meant it." Ironman said flying down.
While this was going on Turok was facing off against Toyman in a giant Robot.
"Come come little man." Toyman said making him sigh before turning into giant Lizard and roared. "WHAT!" Toyman screamed as he tore him apart before he fell out and gasped seeing him glare at him before roaring at him making him scream in fright.
"I smell fear." Turok Sang with sharp teeth making him tremble. "Normally my people aren't violent but you attacked first." Turok said.
"Enough Turok." Sean said making him look up seeing him and David before he shifted back to his normal form making Toyman sob.
"What the hell did you do to him?" David asked amused.
"Just scared him to death." Turok said as they left.
Later
After finding Julia and Reznov at a bar they regrouped.
"You guys got some interesting powers and Tech." Fury said impressed.
"Every Immortal has a lot of abilities but one unique ability each. Mine is well..." Sean said touching a piece of tech before it evolved to incredibly advanced tech making them widen their eyes. "I can advance technology thats primitive to our current level." Sean said.
"Thats amazing. You could advance our world in minutes making it better." Hank said smiling.
"Could...Won't." Sean said shocking him. "You seriously think I'm gonna advance a world thats flawed like this to our level? The chaos would be unimaginable. Not to mention I don't have authority for that." Sean said.
"Authority?" Batman asked.
"I take my orders from the Immortal Council. They were the ones who let me monitor the Universes because they understood me. They know I'm different." Sean said.
"It's true. Everyone knows he's different from the rest of our people. But even they won't let him do something as irresponsible as that." David said.
"Irresponsible? Advancing our world isn't irresponsible." Hank said.
"Advancement in technology has to be earned...Not just given. If I advance it now people will take advantage of it for themselves. People like Luthor, Hammer tech, General Ross." Sean said making them frown knowing them. "I'm not doing that." Sean said.
"But you should. It would make the world better." Hank said.
"Better for who? You? A man who tells others what should and shouldn't be done as if he knows everything?" Sean asked shocking him. "I told you I monitored your universes before the Merge. You constantly told Janet what she should and shouldn't do. Even though she wanted to help save lives against the those like whirlwind." Sean said making her grin.
"Violence only makes things worse. Science helps people." Hank said.
"Like the Atom bomb that was made by science?" Sean asked shocking him.
"Wow he's got him in a major corner." Flash said.
"He's right. Earth isn't ready for that technology. Not even close to being ready." Batman said.
"Yeah I agree." Tony said.
"Same." Lantern said.
"But..." Hank tried to say.
"No...Means No." Sean said before a portal opened up. "Oh boy." Sean said before other Immortals in high tech walked out.
"Sean." The Head Member said.
"Hey Gramps." Sean said making him smile looking at his grandson before his wife picked up his Granddaughter.
The Man was Known as Arthur Kruger. Sean's Great Grandfather. (Michael Caine)
"Look it was an accident." David said.
"We know what happened. Recording showed everything. No one is in trouble." Arthur said.
"Oh." Sean said.
"So how do we undo the Merge?" Maria asked.
"You can't." Arthur said.
"Why not?" Hawkgirl asked.
"Once a universe fully merges with another it is impossible to unmerge them back to the original state." Arthur said.
"So we're stuck together." Lantern said.
"Yes. But thats why we're here." Arthur said.
"You mean to advance our world like yours?" Hank asked hoping he would agree with him.
"No. This universe is nowhere close to being ready for that. No...Instead...Sean and his brothers and friends will remain here...And help out. As a show of kindness that we will coexist since by technicality it was by our technology this happened. We'll help slowly advance the world at a decent and stable pace. If we advance it now like ours it will cause chaos. We tried that before once in another universe looking to expand. Sadly they ended up destroying themselves." Arthur said shocking Hank.
"Thats why I won't do it since I don't want history repeating itself." Sean said making him frown.
"So for now They will remain and help. I think it would be more beneficial for him since he wants to do more with his life than do the same thing over and over again as he so bluntly puts it all the time." Arthur said amused making him chuckle.
"This is the benefit when your Great Grandfather and entire family linage rule our entire universe." David said shocking them.
"Wait your family rules your universe?" Hawkgirl asked.
"Eh. Have since the days of old but yeah." Sean said.
Later
"Why are you pouting?" Janet asked Hank seeing him work on something.
"I can't believe they'd be so selfish and not advance our entire world like theirs." Hank said.
"Selfish? Hank, weren't you listening to them? They tried that before and they accidentally doomed an entire universe because they weren't ready." Janet said.
"That should be up to us not them. I say we could become better with it. That technology has the best potential to make the world better. And they selfishly keep it to themselves." Hank said.
"They're not selfish. They're looking at the long view. And I think they're right. Imagine what would have happened if we had that tech during World War 2? It would have been devastating." Janet said.
"I don't think so. And I know I'm right." Hank said making her sigh leaving him to his work.
Meanwhile
"So theirs gonna be two groups." Sean said on the Watch Tower.
"I think it's a good idea. Different universes with different hero groups. But we work together to help people." Superman said.
"Good. There should always be more than one group." Sean said leaving.
Thats when Hank walked in.
"Hank? What are you doing here?" Ironman asked.
"We need to talk. I think we need to send him back." Hank said confusing him and the others.
"Why?" Flash asked.
"He's selfish. Hoarding that technology to himself and not letting this universe have any." Hank said.
"He's not selfish at all. You heard what they said." Hawkgirl said.
"And I don't believe it. I think they're lying to keep it to themselves." Hank said.
"Oh really?" Sean asked shocking him as he faced him seeing him look amused. "You think I wanna hoard that technology just so I can play hero? This is why most people can't stand you in most universes." Sean said.
"Most Universes?" Batman asked.
"Your perspective universe isn't the only one out there. There are several others involving each different universe. Different events. Different physical appearances and sometimes powers. But ultimately all the same. And Hank here is hated in a lot of them." Sean said shocking him. "Then again what would I expect from a guy who can't think he's ever wrong." Sean said.
"I am not wrong. We could do good with that technology. And that whole you unintentionally destroyed a universe was an obvious lie!" Hank yelled.
"Does this look like a lie?" Sean asked showing a universe showing nothing but ash and decaying planets shocking him and the others. "We did that because we believed they could handle it as fine as us. We were wrong. And we can admit when we're wrong unlike you. They destroyed themselves. Some declared war on other planets to expand their territory. Others just destroyed themselves. We learned from our mistake unlike you. This universe is NOT ready. Not for thousands of years. It needs to evolve on its own at a slow and moderate pace. Otherwise history will repeat itself." Sean said leaving as he stood there in shock.
"You're an asshole you know that?" Janet asked shocking him. "You can't accept your ever wrong. Even now your still thinking your in the right." Janet said.
"Janet...I..." Hank said.
"No Hank. This is why we never could work. Because you don't think anyone else is ever right. Just yourself." Janet said leaving making him sigh.
"Ouch." Flash said.
"You need to accept he's looking at the long run of things." Lantern said.
"I just...Don't you think we should at least try...At least in small amounts of that technology?" Hank asked.
"No. Everything has to be earned not given. Otherwise it causes nothing but problems." Wonder Woman said walking away making him sigh.
Later
"Unfuckingbelievable." Sean said annoyed as he sat in a penthouse that SHIELD provided him for.
"Sorry about that." Janet said flying in.
"Not your fault. But seriously I was hoping he wouldn't be like the other versions of himself in the multiverse but I guess that was too much to hope for." Sean said.
"So you say you know our different versions of us?" Janet asked.
"More or less." Sean said making her smile.
"Was I as beautiful as I am now?" Janet teased making him snort.
"Well." Sean said showing another version of her with Short black hair and brown eyes and white skin. (Ultimate Avengers version)
"Wow even in another universe I'm still hot." Wasp said making him grin.
"Oh yes." Sean said making her grin.
Author's note: Oh boy. Ive been wanting to do this for years. Just Avengers and Justice League. Now you can expect some other DC and Marvel shows to be used here like Teen titans, X Men Evolution, Fantastic four Worlds greatest heroes and a few others. This will mainly be based on the JLU series and Avengers Earth' mightiest heroes. I love those series the most and I really wished they continued them both since there was so much potential.
