A\N: I'm rewriting this Willicia story that I deleted last year because it was such a good story, so I'm going to rewrite it and change a few things.

Updates as always will be scattered, but enjoy Angels.

She didn't know he was released.

She, along with the others, thought or hoped depending on who was asked, that he would die in prison.

Alicia's alone in her office when her assistant tells her that someone was waiting to see her in the lobby and when her assistant says the name of the person waiting to see her, the colour drains from her face as she stands up shakily, leaning heavily against her desk.

"Get me Will, and tell him I'm coming to see him right now, I don't care if he's in a meeting or getting coffee, or even in court, or in the bathroom, tell him it's an emergency." She says, her voice is panicked and scared as she leaves the office, her feet faltering with each step she takes towards Will Gardner's office, her assistant keeps her eye on Alicia until she's out of her line of sight.

The assistant has never seen Alicia like that and doesn't know what she said to cause it, she can only hope that Will Gardner knows.

Will Gardner is immediately concerned when he hangs up with Alicia's assistant. He's doubly concerned when the aforementioned woman enters his office, looking pale and unsteady on her feet. "Alicia?" He says her name but she doesn't seem to hear him, like she's not really hearing him, or aware that he's in the room with her. He's never seen her like this before, well he has, but that was years ago in college. "Alicia!" He barks, that seems to get her attention, she looks at him, her face is so pale, she looks like she'll pass out at any minute.

"W... Will." Her voice is a gasp, like she can't breathe.

He's out of his chair and is in front of her in 10 seconds, his hands on her shoulders, looking at her. "Leesh, look at me. What's going on?" He asks her, hoping his nickname for her will calm her a little. Alicia looks at him, tears in her eyes.

"W... Con... Connors ha... has been re..released and is wait... waiting for m... me in the lobby." She says, the words coming out in between stammers.

Will feels like punching something as he leads her to the couch.

Alicia sits on his couch, a cup of coffee cradled in her hands, she hasn't taken in a sip in the half an hour Will handed it to her, looking at Will who is pacing, talking angrily on his cell phone, loudly. She can't get the name out of her head, it repeats it on a loop, taunting her. She doesn't want to believe that he has actually been released and is waiting for her in the lobby, she's hoping it's another man with the exact same name who just happened to know she works here. She feels Will's eyes on her as he throws his cell phone across the room. She looks at him pleadingly, pleading with him not to make this true, but she knows better.

Will sighs as he looks at her, regret shining in his eyes. "It is him, he was released last week, good behaviour." He snarls, the coffee cup falls from her limp hands, the liquid spilling all over the floor, but neither of them acknowledge it as Alicia gets off the couch and storms out of the office, Will following her.

Wade Connors hasn't changed in 20 years, except for the frown lines. He's leaning against a wall. Swallowing the fear and her tears, she walks up to him and slaps him hard across the face, so loud it can be heard from the conference room where Diane is. After Alicia steps back, Will decks him in the eye before wrapping an arm around Alicia's shoulders and walking back to his office where the tears fall.

The ghosts of Georgetown are starting to come back after 18 years.
