"Wow... Where am I?" was what the bald man in a cape thought as he saw a completely abandoned city, full of dust, cars in disuse for quite some time. Curiously what looked like stones of different sizes in various structures. He blinked at it all. "I should have listened to Genos when he said not to get so close to the portal...sh*t..." was what he thought.

He heard a garbage can fall to the ground. Two beings, green with humanoid appearance and with the same stone protuberances all over their bodies. The most remarkable thing was that, instead of a head, it seemed to be replaced by a black hole. Saitama just said. "What a weird monster."

These beings seemed to shriek as they recognized a different life form and staggered over, their 'hands' outstretched to him.

Pam...*

As it came it died, the being exploded into hundreds of pieces as it took a single blow from the cloaked bald man. He decided to move forward, at least scout the place a bit. "I shouldn't stray too far from where I showed up... Oh, cops. Maybe they know where I am." He thought as he spotted what looked like uniformed men in the distance.

...

Miyabi saw the opportunity to escape and took it. Yanagi said to her, 'Do you do your paperwork or go outside to work?'

She didn't finish hearing the request she walked out the door. Miyabi is fifty percent sure Yanagi was being sarcastic, but she won't go back to ask her.

Now she is enveloped by the noise of the city, with vehicles moving, people chatting and advertisements blaring everywhere. Despite everything, she finds this comforting. These are signs of life.

Hoshimi then checked what possible jobs to do on her cell phone. Not usually varied missions or assignments. Neutralize dangerous ethereal beings, neutralize a group of ethereal beings, escort personnel through cavities, rescue people in cavities, go to the city (Exclusive to sub division six?) and search for relics… that last one is rather strange. Why use an elite team just to search for ancient treasures? Miyabi never understood it, worst of all, the item search missions are the longest. Still, they are not bad missions… Miyabi, the only problem she has lately is the great detachment to defeating ethereal beings.

First, she did it for justice, peace, prosperity and defeating evil. Then Miyabi did it because she has the power to make a change in the world. Then because it is her responsibility and now she does it because she wants to eliminate evil. That's it.

Don't misunderstand her, she wants to defeat ethereal beings in favor of people, just, well, she grew up and realized that many of her ideas are just fantasies. She is still one and is likely to stay that way. Killing ethereal beings is important, but Miyabi knows she can change almost nothing. Only saving lives.

That, for the moment, is his top priority.

"A civilian causing trouble in the cavity?" She looked at the new request for help and emergency sent by HAND, that's weird. Miyabi raised an eyebrow. A heard that looters or thugs have wreaked havoc in the cavities… but a civilian? That's pretty strange. No one took the job, no division. Which is logical.

Aren't the authorities themselves supposed to be able to deal with a civilian?

Hoshimi decided to look for more information in the emergency petition. "Is in a state of insanity. His strength is insane. He constantly resists arrest. That doesn't sound like a civilian, I would call him a troublemaker. The man is a danger, neutralize him by any means necessary. Neutralize? That's excessive."

Miyabi blinked, she shrugged. "I'll go take a look, something new is something new. Besides, I don't want him to get killed. He must have his reasons." Saying that she left the city at a high speed. She respected the traffic signs, though. The rules are there for a reason.

Bang-Bang-Bang-Bang-Bang…*

"Very good afternoon." She said calmly, the officers looked like they saw a ghost. Several police officers lost their serious and intimidating look the moment Miyabi appeared in front, some even almost fell off the roof. "M-Miss Miyabi! I-I'm so glad! I can't believe it! The only one who answered the call was you!?" She just nodded and pointed to the man standing in the middle of the abandoned city, which now several buildings had bullet holes in them. That was strange, but interesting. The man didn't look wounded. Miyabi asked. "that's the civilian, aren't they using excessive force…why is he wearing that suit?" the half-human looks confused, though quite intrigued. That's over thirty armed officers, shooting and they can't arrest this man. Besides, he's bald, so he should be an old person.

One officer, who lowered his gun said. "Yes! That man cannot be arrested for anything. We fired and exploded grenades next to him, but he doesn't go down. He knocked out all the approaching officers, he must be eliminated!"

Miyabi shrugged her shoulders and decided to act. It's not her favorite pastime to deal with civilians, but it has its charm, besides, when that man recognizes her, he will instantly surrender as usual. "You guys stay out of it. I'll restrain him." Some of the officers sighed with relief when they heard that. One of the officers, apparently of high rank, exclaimed. "The 'Void Slayer' will take charge of neutralizing the threat! Everyone get back!" several officers in the vanguard recoiled at the order without thinking. "Contain, I said contain." Miyabi spoke up to correct.

Miyabi walked towards the man, his white cloak swaying endlessly. Hoshimi thinks it's cool, though the rest of his outfit is very… strange. "I'll call the rest of the sub division!" an officer said. She shouted in response. "That won't be necessary. Don't do that." The officers looked at each other, but decided to obey.

Only fifteen meters away, he noticed her incongruous presence, the man looked at her, seeing that the lady did not appear an officer. His totally disinterested eyes met her serene eyes. Miyabi was the first to speak. "Sir, please excuse me, but you are being held. I ask that you simply allow yourself to be handcuffed." The man frowned slightly, Hoshimi understood, how many times had the officers told him the same thing? He must be getting tired of hearing that since the conflict started. The man replied. "Another one? I told you I didn't do anything. I just killed a monster."

Miyabi said, almost automatically, without thinking. "Just because you have the ability to defeat ethereal beings does not detract from the fact that you must be restrained. It is strictly forbidden to enter the cavities. So, I repeat again, let yourself be arrested." The man scratched his bald head with his hand, though it must be uncomfortable having that big red glove. He spoke. "Why is it forbidden?" Miyabi frowned slightly. "Are you wanting to joke with me?... The ethereal crystals."

The man blinked. "So?" Hoshimi deepened her frown slightly, she told him. "What do you mean 'and'? Ethereal crystals are a very expensive resource and high caliber weapons can be made from them, however, they are volatile, unstable and unhealthy; besides, just entering a cavity puts your life in danger. Specialized equipment is required to take the crystals and advance through here." The man seemed to look her up and down, he commented. "You are specialized? You're wearing a sweater, a shirt and a skirt…" She then understood the problem, Hoshimi pointed out. "I am the current 'Void Slayer' and the head of sub division number six. The elite of the elite in terms of combat and pure power. I am Hoshimi Miyabi. The last name should say it all." She said, hoping that once and for all, this man would come to his senses.

He just said. "I called myself Saitama. So. Are you specialized? You don't look ready to enter a dangerous place." Miyabi started walking at a slow pace towards him, her face serene, though her right ear is twitching. Hoshimi spoke "This is enough. You will be forcibly restrained." Saitama raised an eyebrow at this. "Isn't killing monsters a good thing?" Miyabi said while still walking towards him. "It's not because of that. It's the crystals. They are of great value and that makes people want to take them without thinking about the consequence. You need a permit and even having one, you can't get them." She kept approaching, Miyabi grabbed the hilt of her sword. "You must be fit and be approved by HAND, otherwise, you can't enter the cavities, no matter whether or not you can neutralize ethereal beings. Here the rules are to be respected." Her footsteps echoed in the lifeless city. The wind made an appearance, lifting the man's cloak.

She stopped only about fifty centimeters from him and continued. "It doesn't matter that you only come to eliminate ethereal beings. You will be held whether you like it or not. It's not my fault you live under a rock either. Now, t-"

PUM! BANG!...*

She heard the sound of his joints moving, yet her reflexes did not know what happened.

The officers in the distance stared at the scene with absolute calm, all because this was a shock, it is not common to see Hoshimi Miyabi fly off and crash into a building. The shock faded and many officers broke out in a cold sweat. Impossible. That was the only thing going through everyone's heads. "Did everyone see what I did?" asked one of the younger officers. All watching the cloud of dust created by the impact.

Saitama, for his part, stood with his hand raised in a fist. He watched the cloud of smoke left by Miyabi hitting the building. Saitama said. "That's it, the only real reason these 'Cavities' are not allowed and very difficult to access is because they want to control everything? It doesn't matter that you can fight monsters, if it doesn't generate profit for them, then it's not allowed. That sounds pretty selfish. Though of course, the system is never fair." Miyabi came out of the cloud of smoke, she coughed and wiped her dusty face. She looked at herself, she didn't seem to have any damage, just a slight cut on her right arm. She fixed her gaze down to the right. Her hairpin, practically an amulet of protection from her family. On the ground covered in dust and damaged.

Miyabi started to feel her breathing speed up little by little, she said. "Th-this, do you have any idea what you just did? T-This is unforgivable. It's insane. You also dare to tell me that I'm in favor of injustice?" He just said, calmly. "…Don't overreact so much." That was the straw that broke the camel's back. "Y-You're… You're officially under arrest…" she mumbled. The blade of her sword made an appearance, causing the smoke to disperse completely and the wind to feel cooler. An eye appeared out of nowhere. Black color and red iris flying beside her.

Saitama blinked and looked worried. "…I might break his sword unintentionally, I don't have the money to buy another one just like it." He thought. Hoshimi took this act of weakness as an opportunity to attack.

She lunged with a speed exceeding two hundred kilometers per hour and attacked…only to see how this man is dodging all her attacks.

She doesn't go for vital points, she just wants to cause damage until he gets tired… but this wasn't in her plans. Miyabi thought. "How can his reflexes beat my speed!?"

Even her flying eye seems totally impressed.

She still continued to attack. Seeing that it is something useless, she then opted for surprise. She stabbed the sword to the ground and large amounts of ice formed… she watched as he blinked, his body wrapped in a cube of ice and only his head unfrozen. Miyabi said. "Yes, officially arrested." She sheathed her sword. Saitama, seeing the floating eye circling around her, could only say. "You're half-monster?" She then looked at him, totally surprised by such a question in this situation. "No." Was the simple answer. He said. "Oh, I meant because of the wolf ears and that thing next to you, I thought they were decorations, but they moved on their own, plus you have ice powers… I guess if you classify as a monster." He started to think about what category this woman falls into.

Miyabi only looked at him for three seconds, then answered. "I am Vulpina, my ears are fox ears, not wolf ears and I am definitely not a monster. Now be quiet, the authorities will come to-"

Crack-*

The bucket he was in shattered, he clicked his tongue, seeing the dust stuck to his clothes because of the cold. He then said. "That won't happen. I have things to do and I want to get back to my place. Look." He showed her a card with the bald guy's picture on it and it says 'Certified Rank A Hero' Miyabi blinked and then licked her lips. She launched into the attack.

KA-*

Her sword pointed at his shoulder, but Saitama stopped it with his hand. He said to her. "Stop it already, I could break your sword and I don't intend to pay for it!"

Miyabi only made more force and now used her feet. With a kick the chest he stepped back though he didn't change his face. She started slashing as he escapes running, Hoshimi is avoiding destroying everything in her path, she is also avoiding targeting his vital points.

The streets began to show the collateral damage of so many cuts. In addition, frost is starting to envelop everything.

She jumped into the air and began to make cuts that send an icy shockwave at his feet. Saitama watches as the places where they impact fills with ice though not dense.

"She's just still thinking of trapping me like that? Well, how stubborn." He thought with an annoyed grimace.

Saitama dodges as well, looking with a raised eyebrow at this girl, she looks somewhat annoyed, but still keeps a stony face.

"How long will she be attacking for?" wondered Saitama out loud. She heard it thanks to her fox ears. Miyabi clicked her tongue and shouted for him to hear. "Surrender and force won't be necessary!"

Saitama, somewhat surprised that she had listened, dodged a slash that destroyed a vehicle, he said. "No, I don't plan to surrender and then have to pay for things. That's what they want." In reality, Saitama is making all this fuss because he knows he can't pay nothing.

The attacks continued, one fiercer than the other, still, there is a lot of control behind each attack. She said. "We don't want that, we just want the rules to be respected!"

Saitama kept dodging, at one point he jumped and was only about two meters away from her. He replied. "It's the same thing with nice words." She's going to slash where he is to freeze him, in the air he won't be able to dodge. Saitama clapped his hands and Hoshimi was repelled backwards, crashing back into a building.

She, quickly rejoined and replied. "It's not the same! I want to maintain order and peace! You're someone who's attacking that order! I want to protect people! That includes you!" she only received two small cuts from the previous attack. Saitama fell to the ground and said. "Of what peace and what order? The only thing they really care about are those things." He pointed to the ethereal crystals.

She fell to the ground several meters away from him. Miyabi said "Is it that hard for you to understand? Their courage makes them dangerous! You must have specialized equipment for that. You must also have it to enter the cavities." He said squinting his eyes in disbelief. "I'll ask you one more time, why then are you wearing a sweater, a shirt and a skirt?" She said caught again in that simple argument. "Th-that has nothing to do with it. I'm here to neutralize threats."

He said. "Me too." Miyabi just gritted her teeth and replied. "You need a permit!" Saitama asked. "To control what I do?" Miyabi shook her head. "What! No!" he replied. "Then what for?" she said almost instantly. "For your safety!" Saitama replied. "What safety will that permission bring me?" Miyabi swallowed saliva and she gripped the hilt of her sword. "I-I don't know, ask Yanagi!"

Saitama said. "Weren't you the head of a division?"

She lunged forward. Her sword lightly cut the asphalt, freezing it in the process. Saitama keeps moving out of the way.

Her attacks don't stop, not deadly, but they do contain some anger. Some poor ethereal beings passing by were frozen and cut into pieces. "You're in a bad position, regroup somewhere else!" she shouted.

Saitama looked to where Miyabi shouted, the officers. Miyabi raised her sword to provide more blows, though she seems to be trying to get Saitama to move to the right. However, in just half a blink of an eye, he dodged and hit her stomach.

Saitama looked behind, the officers are shaking just ten meters away. A few stood at guard and readied their weapons. "Aren't they going to help her?" he asked. One of the officers, with a prominent mustache said with false bravado. "T-The head of sub division six doesn't want us to interrupt."

Saitama nodded and went in search of her.

PLAF*

"UGH!" She groaned as she skidded against the asphalt. Miyabi flipped in the air and landed on her feet on the asphalt, skidding a bit, then looked at her stomach. A clear bruise from this one forming. "This time it really hurt… Ah, who is that man? His strength is not normal… Those people are in danger!" she straightened up at the thought of Saitama being with the officers. Miyabi Raised her sword and is going to go to combat again. Saitama appeared running in the distance. "Don't you think you should start taking this seriously?" he spoke in the distance. She, first checked from a distance that the law enforcers are okay, and then replied by getting into a combat stance. "I am."

She pounced again. Miyabi charged and, as if she had teleported, appeared behind Saitama with an attack that froze where he is and several slashes to the sides headed for him.

Miyabi watched as he stomped on the ground and all the ice shattered, then with him hand, as if they were mosquitoes, he repelled the slashes. She clicked her tongue, with a wrinkled face she tried again.

The attack was the same only this time she repeated it twice and then unsheathing her sword a little, a stream of almost solid ice went towards Saitama.

Apparently that took him by surprise. He was thrown several meters backwards and covered in frost. Miyabi continued her assault, with cuts to his legs and hands. Saitama received several cuts.

She then moved forward again to freeze him in place with a slash at a speed almost faster than sound. However, Miyabi saw a red fist near his face.

PAM-PLAFT!*

She was repelled several meters and crashed into a car consumed by the cavity. Miyabi got up, but grabbed her face with her right hand. She observed the same hand afterwards. Blood. She coughed, her nose definitely broken and her lips most likely split. Miyabi stood on guard. Hoshimi was impressed, he doesn't have any scratches. Saitama lowered his fist and looked at her with complete neutrality. He said to her. "Good. I think with that you know you should stop playing."

She opened her eyes and replied. "Playing? Playing! What are you talking about?" he continued as if it was obvious. "You're holding back a lot. You're not really attacking. You should be." Miyabi blinked, she said almost instantly. "I'm not planning to kill a person, do you want to die? You're crazy." Saitama spoke again. "What are you talking about? I just want you to stop playing games. You can't beat me if you hold back. Aren't you supposed to protect people? You're putting them in 'danger'." Miyabi lowered her ears a little, she spat out some of her blood and then said. "I-I'm not going to kill a person. If I really fight, I can get you killed." Saitama blinked and said. "Then. I break the rules and I get arrested, you do it and it's fine, where does that leave us?"

Miyabi gritted her teeth and said. "Don't say that! It's wrong in both cases. Don't lie, I don't benefit. That's not fair." Saitama scratched his ear, with his other hand he pointed at the officers and he said. "Putting your teammates in danger seems fair to you?" Miyabi started to quicken her breathing. She said. "Y-you like to talk? Eh." He answered her calmly. "No, I just want to understand you." Miyabi stifled a snort and went on the attack.

She started with slashes to his sides. They were noticeably faster, but still not to vital points. Saitama frowned a little.

PAM-CLASH!

She now ended up in an abandoned appliance store. Miyabi stood up, she touched her cheek. Pain. Just, pain. Not only in her own body, but also in her heart. "What's wrong…" She thought. This is just surreal. A man appears out of nowhere, challenges her, attacks her verbally and physically, besides, she failed to harm him, she, who trained for as long as she can remember, can't do anything. Miyabi wiped the blood from her nose.

Saitama saw her coming out of the store. The look on her face said it all, a mixture of anger and determination . "I don't plan to kill a person…" and he just said. "Don't do it and fight." She got into a fencing stance again. Saitama raised a fist and said. "Fight for real for once, the next blow will leave you on the ground." Miyabi clicked her tongue. She was going to draw her sword, but the sheath wouldn't let her act. She watched as she failed the finger recognition of her scabbard, the reason, her hand is shaking.

Saitama said, for the first time, her face a little serious. "You can't go around in life believing that everything works out the same way, Reality will make you end up crying." She frowned and said. "You think I don't know that! I've lived it!" he replied raising an eyebrow. "Then why don't you fight for real?" Miyabi replied. "I don't plan to! I don't want to kill you!" Saitama was silent for a moment, he looked very confused. "Just don't try to kill me! What's your problem?" He clenched his fist tighter. Miyabi swallowed saliva, she frowned and lowered her ears.

Fear.

Not because of his power. No. She doesn't want to go kill him, she's shaking because of that… Or is she shaking because of something else? She doesn't know. Saitama, seeing how her body language shows so much weakness, he said. "Are you in any pain? I'm sure I didn't hit you that hard." Miyabi replied, her tone of voice somewhat sour. "…Yanagi and you would get along very well." Saitama smiled and said. "Why do you say so?" Miyabi showed her teeth and replied. "You both talk as if you are the wisest people in the world…" She took a deep breath and spoke to him. "I ask you. How would you fix all these problems? How would you bring justice? How would you stop ambitious people from dying by ignoring warnings and not putting a firm hand? How would you do it?"

Saitama scratched his bald head and then his belly, he answered the next second. "I don't know."

"…" Miyabi watched him intently, then she spoke again. "What?" he repeated. "I have no idea. I was asking you about that." Miyabi stared at him. Saitama then said. "I usually do what I want. As long as I don't bother anyone." Miyabi then exclaimed. "That's it!?" he nodded. Miyabi trembled more, out of anger or fear, a random man just made her doubt and he doesn't even know what is justice or evil. According to her, Saitama just talked for the sake of talking.

She became enraged and drew her sword. Saitama's eyes widened slightly. "Shall we continue?" She said. "Yes, you definitely need to be in jail." Saitama answered her. "Does that mean you're finally going for real?" Miyabi shook her head. "No! I refuse to break my ideals for someone who doesn't even know where his head is." He just told her. "Ideals? Wasn't this about justice and respecting the rules?" Miyabi felt a twitch in her eye and lunged towards him.

Said and done. She began to make quick and precise cuts to the limbs him, now in a faster manner. Though this time she sought a more unpredictable approach.

Saitama's fist came at her. Her ears detected the muscle tension and she moved before he attacked her. She followed up on his charge. Though he only dodged and tried other attacks.

The place began to freeze from Miyabi's attacks and crack from Saitama's shockwaves. Several tents ended up being windowless because of the close combat.

Miyabi keeps dodging, though barely and it's getting harder and harder, it seems like he's adjusting his speed "Why doesn't his face change! Why does he always look bored! This man shouldn't exist!..."

PAM-PUM!*

Miyabi ended up embedded in a building. She thought. "This… This isn't fair…" her mind drifting into unconsciousness. Her gaze landed on the man several meters away. Her sword dropped from her hands. The floating eye is watching her intently and moving back and forth in front of her vision.

She could only stare at it, without the ability to move. He stepped closer and spoke, drawing the woman's attention to him."This is strange. At this point people get serious. I don't know what your problem is..." Saitama then looked at the officers. These seem to be, at last, ignoring Miyabi's request and are calling for reinforcements, he said to her. "You refused to go for real and didn't ask for help, even when your partners are at stake. If I had been a criminal, I could kill them now." Saitama watched intently as she tries to keep her eyes open. He then thought about the motive behind her refusal to fight in earnest. Saitama then said, raising an eyebrow. "Don't tell me. You don't know how to control your full strength...? I get it. You've never fought a human before? If so, it makes sense. You're afraid of committing a crime, you've never fought someone who stands up to you, and now you're paying the consequences."

Miyabi could no longer hold his gaze.

For Saitama that was enough of an answer. He sighed. He didn't want to make her feel bad, but Saitama really wanted to know what goes through this young girl's head to go so far with her principles, even though internally he felt a little bad about beating this young girl up. He then watched as she finally surrendered to sleep from the damage to her body. He thought that perhaps this woman believed she was invincible and that was why she never needed lethal force, perhaps that was why she steadfastly refuses to give up her ideals for the greater good.

"It's easy to follow your own rules if none of them are imposed on you. I guess you're just used to fighting monsters." He finally said and approached her. Ignoring the floating eye's death stare.

Saitama caught her in a nuptial manner and brought her to the officers. "BRING ALL DIVISIONS, NOW!" "IT'S THE END, IT'S THE END!" "I DON'T GET PAID ENOUGH FOR THIS!" "I WANT MY MOM!" The officers' shouts clearly reflect the current situation and reinforces Saitama's hypothesis. "Hey, you should take her to a hospital." He said. Everyone screamed in horror at the sight of him, one raised a gun and said. "S-stay where you are!" Saitama dropped it on the ground and disappeared in a blur. Knowing that they won't bother him anymore. He thought. "Will she learn anything…? No, she'll probably just end up hating me more."

After moving deeper into the cavity, Saitama remembered something important. "Wait… Where did I come to this world, what street was it?"

/AUTHOR'S NOTES\

Thank you very much for reading.

You probably noticed that my English is not native, but since most people speak English in fanfic, I wanted to do it in this language.

I hope you liked this. I don't know if it will be just a little One-shot or make some more chapters.

In any case, thanks for reading.
