Chapter 2

The rest of the weekend was filled with exploring the village and making sure the pokémon were settling in well. "Naruto, Dawn, it's time to get up. You need to get ready for the academy." yelled Daisy. Naruto yawned as he looked to his left to see a Hana snuggled into his left shoulder. To his right he sees Dawn clinging to his right side. Seeing neither were waking up he leaned over and gave each of them a kiss to the top of their head. Both Hana and Dawn pulled themselves tighter to Naruto as they woke up with a yawn. "Good morning girls. Did you sleep well?" asked Naruto. "Good morning Naruto-Kun. You know I always sleep well when I have my favorite pillow." said Hana. "Good morning Naruto-Kun. Same here. We need to get up and get ready for the academy Naruto." said Dawn as she got out of bed heading to the bathroom. She was wearing a simple blue nightgown with wingulls and pelippers on it. Hana got out of bed next also heading to the bathroom. She was wearing a green nightgown with bellsprouts and oddishes. "No peeking Naruto-Kun. We all agreed to wait till you and Dawn-Chan are both chunin." said Hana as she entered the bathroom. After both Hana and Dawn entered the bathroom Naruto got up and grabbed his clothes for the day. A little while later Dawn and Hana walked out of the bathroom in only towels. Naruto chuckled as he said, "You two make it hard to wait till we reach chunin when you walk out like that." Hana and Dawn blush and smile at him knowing he's willing to wait to make them happy. He grabs his clothes and walks into bathroom. After getting ready for the day, they went down for breakfast. "So, Hana what do you have planned while we are at the academy?" asked Dawn. "Probably go see my mom. Then do some training." said Hana. After breakfast Naruto, Dawn, and Hana walked to the academy. When they got there Hana said goodbye to them as Naruto and Dawn entered the academy.
Naruto knocked on their classroom door. The door opened to reveal a man with a scar across his nose, short black hair, wearing the standard chunin uniform. "Yes, how can I help you?" asked the man. "Hello, we are your new students. Hokage-Sama should have informed you that we would be joining your class today." said Naruto. "Oh, yes I was informed. Please come in. My name is Iruka, and my assistant's name is Mizuki." said Iruka. Mizuki has shoulder-length white hair, and he is also wearing the standard chunin uniform. "Okay class we have two new students joining us. Why don't introduce yourselves?" said Iruka. "My name is Naruto Uzumaki. I like my fiancés, my clan, and my pokémon partners. I dislike rapist, murderers, and people that hurt other for no reason. My Dream is to restore my clan and protect my precious people." said Naruto. "Hello, my name is Dawn Berlitz soon to be Uzumaki. I like my fiancés, my new clan, and my pokémon partners. My dislikes are the same as Naruto-Kun's. My dream is to have a big family and protect my precious people." said Dawn. After Dawn was done a girl with long pink hair, green eyes, and wearing a pink dress raised her hand. "Yes Sakura, did you have a question?" asked Iruka. "I have a couple of questions. First which clan are you part of and what are they known for? Second what are pokémon partners you mentioned?" said Sakura. "I'm part of the Uzumaki clan. As for what we are known for we are good with Fuinjutsu and Kenjutsu. That should have been covered in your classes when you talk about important clans of the village." said Naruto. "What do you mean we should have learned about it in class." asked Sakura. "My clan may not have joined the village but, we helped the Senju and the Uchiha clans in founding this village. My clan is a cousin clan to the Senju." said Naruto. With the information they just heard many were shocked. "Well, what are the pokémon you mentioned, and my name is Ino Yamanaka." ask a blonde-haired girl with pale blue eye wearing a purple dress. Naruto and Dawn explained what pokémon are. "Wow they sound so cool. I so want to see some of the pokémon you have." said Ino. "Well, if it's all right with Iruka-Sensei Dawn and I can give a demonstration. What do you think Iruka-Sensei?" said Naruto. "I think it would be good for you classmates to see what pokémon could do in a fight." said Iruka. "Okay Sensei. You could also ask the other classes if they wanted to watch sense they are new to the village." said Naruto as he made a shadow clone and sent it to the Hokage's office to ask if he wanted to watch the demonstration. "Good idea Naruto. Okay everyone, head out to the training ground while Mizuki and I get the other classes." said Iruka.
While the class was waiting Ino asked "Dawn in your introduction you said soon to be Uzumaki. Does that mean your Naruto's fiancé?" "Yep. I'm one of his two fiancés." happily answered Dawn. "Wait, did you say two fiancés? So, he is just a pervert. Why would he have more than one and why would you agree to be one of them." asked Sakura. "No, he is not a pervert. He is the last male of this clan, so he must have at least two wives. As for why I agreed is because I love him, and he loves me." said Dawn while feeling annoyed. Just as Dawn said that Naruto pulled her into a hug from behind while kissed her cheek. "No need to get upset Dawn. You and I know this is not a typical situation." said Naruto. "While we wait why don't the rest of you introduce yourselves? We already know Kiba, and we have Ino and Sakura's names." asked Naruto. "Oh, we have Choji Akimichi, a heavy-set boy with swirl marks on his cheeks and brown hair, Shikamaru Nara, he has black hair tied up in a spiked ponytail, Hinata Hyuga, dark blue hair in a princess style and pale eyes, Shino Aburame, he's wearing a high collared jacket, sunglasses, and dark brown hair, and Sasuke Uchiha, he as black eyes and black eyes." said Ino. "It's nice to meet you all." said Dawn. "How do you know Kiba already?" asked Shikamaru. "His older sister is my other fiancé. So, Kiba will be my brother in-law." said Naruto. As Naruto finished talking, the other classes and the Hokage arrived.
"Alright Naruto Dawn everyone is here you can start your demonstration when you're ready." said Iruka. "Ok Iruka-Sensei. Dawn and I will be using one pokémon each for this demonstration. For those of you that don't know what pokémon are. Your teachers will be given a scroll with the basic information on them." said Naruto. Naruto then brought out Flareon. Dawn released her Luxio. Naruto pulled out a kunai as he said, "We start when this hits the ground." Dawn nodded then Naruto threw the kunai high into the air. When it hit the ground Naruto started making hand signs called out "Flareon use Flamethrower. Wind Style Great Breakthrough. Flareon's Wraith" The flamethrower and Great Breakthrough combined to form a white-hot field of flames heading towards Dawn and Luxio. Everyone watching was shocked seeing and feeling such an intense fire jutsu. Iruka was about to jump in, but the Hokage put his hand on Iruka's shoulder stopping him. Dawn did a few quick hand signs and said calmly "Luxio use Protect. Water Style Water Encampment Wall." Luxio formed a barrier around herself and Dawn. As Dawn's wall of water formed around the barrier just as the flames reached them. A large amount of steam formed around Dawn and Luxio. From inside the steam Dawn called out "Luxio use Thunder Fang. Water Style Water Dragon. Luxio's Fury." The water dragon formed around Luxio as she charged at Naruto and Flareon. "Flareon use Dig." said Naruto as he used the substation jutsu. As Luxio bit into the log Naruto substituted with the water in the dragon around Luxio spread out over the ground shocking and paralyzing everything in the area around her. Dawn and Luxio looked around trying to find Naruto and Flareon. The ground underneath Dawn started cracking. Dawn tried to jump away but she was too slow and got hit by Flareon in the chest knocking her to the ground. Just as Dawn got hit Naruto appeared in front of Luxio kicking her towards Dawn. Dawn was just getting back to her feet as Luxio crashed into her. "I'm calling an end to this demonstration." said Sarutobi not wanting it to get any more out of hand. Naruto nodded as he recalled Flareon saying "Good job Flareon. Have a good rest." He then walked over to Dawn and helped her up. "You did good Luxio. We will get them next time." said Dawn as she recalled Luxio. Naruto and Dawn shook hands and smiled at each other.
After the shock of witnessing such attacks wore off. All the students started clapping and cheered for them. This is going to be the talk of the academy for a long time even after this year ends. "That was quite the display of abilities. Can you do combination attack with any pokémon?" asked Sarutobi. "You can if you have a strong bond with the pokémon you're trying it with." answered Dawn. "Okay everyone back to class the demonstration is over." said Sarutobi. The students all went "Ah" because they wanted to see more of the pokémon and what they can do as they headed back to their classes. Back in the classroom Sasuke walked up to Naruto and Dawn. "Where can I get my own pokémon." asked Sasuke. "Pokémon don't live in the Elemental Nations. You would have to travel to another continent." said Dawn. "Are you saying that you have been to another continent? How did that happen?" asked Sakura. "Yep, there are 10 other continents, and they all have wild pokémon." said Naruto then he explained meeting his adoptive mother and grandfather without mentioning the attack on him or the Kyuubi. "So, give me one of your pokémon then." said Sasuke. "No, they belong to my clan. Like the ninken of the Inuzuka clan belong to them." answered Naruto. After that Sasuke stormed back to his seat. The rest of class went smoothly. Naruto and Dawn invited their new friends to come over on Saturday to train and see all the other pokémon they have. Everyone but Sasuke accepted the invitation. For the rest of the month, it became routine for everyone to come over and train on Saturdays.
Finally, it was time for the graduation exam. Everyone was chatting while they waited for Iruka and Mizuki to come in and start the exam. Iruka and Mizuki walked in no one in class noticed and kept talking. "Alright everyone, settle down so we can start the exam." said Iruka. Everyone kept talking to each other Iruka got angry and use this Big Head Jutsu while yelling "Settle down, it's time for the exam!" All the students quickly sat in their seats, as Mizuki passed out the written test. Naruto and Dawn noticed a genjutsu on the papers they were handed and dispelled it. An hour later Iruka collected the test. Then everyone went outside for taijutsu and accuracy exams. "Okay everyone, for the taijutsu exam you will spar with Mizuki. Your goal is to either land 5 solid hits or last 5 minutes. Either one will be a perfect score on the taijutsu exam. The test ends if Mizuki can hit you 8 times or knocks you out of the ring." said Iruka. Ino and Sakura made it till, 4 minutes and 25 seconds till they were knocked out of the ring. Choji, Shikamaru, and Shino made it till the 5 minutes mark. Kiba, Sasuke, Dawn, and surprisingly Hinata hit Mizuki 5 times. Now its Naruto's turn. Naruto bowed to Mizuki before he got into his taijutsu stance. Iruka called "Start!" Mizuki rushed Naruto trying to hit the 'Demon Brat' with a strong right hook. Naruto deflected Mizuki's arm and hit him in the chest knocking him back to the edge of the ring. Mizuki looked at Naruto with hatred as he tried to catch his breath. Naruto waited for Mizuki to make his next move. Mizuki ran at Naruto. This time he went for a leg sweep wanting to knock him down. Naruto jumped over the leg sweep and tried to kick him upside of the head. Mizuki blocked it then grabbed Naruto's leg. Then Naruto used the leverage of Mizuki's hold to spin around and hit him on the other side of the head. Mizuki let go of Naruto as he fell to the floor. As Mizuki got up he pulled out a kunai. His hatred for Naruto combined with the anger from not being able to land a hit and being hit made him forget the exam and try to kill Naruto. Mizuki ran at Naruto as fast as he could as he yelled out "Die Demon Brat!" Iruka yelled at Mizuki to stop but was ignored. Just before Mizuki got to Naruto two Anbu appeared one in front and the other behind Mizuki. "Mizuki you're under arrest for trying to assassinate a clan heir. Drop the kunai and come with us peacefully." said the Anbu in front of Mizuki. "Not till I kill the demon." said Mizuki. Before Mizuki could move he was hit in the back of the neck knocking him unconscious. The Anbu grab Mizuki and takes him to T .
"Ok class lets head back into the classroom for the last part of the exam." said Iruka. "Iruka-Sensei what did Mizuki-Sensei mean when he called Naruto Demon Brat?" asked Ino with everyone else in the class nodding their heads. Iruka looks unsure about how to answer her question as he looks over at Naruto. Naruto sighed as he looked around the room. Naruto walked up to Iruka and said "It's alright Iruka-Sensei. I will explain what he was talking about." Naruto then explained that the Kyuubi was not killed like they were told but sealed into a newborn baby. He then told them that he is the Jinchuriki of the Kyuubi. "I hope this doesn't change how you feel about me and still want to be my friends." said Naruto as he looked down not wanting to see hate or fear in their eyes. After Naruto finished speaking Dawn pulled Naruto into a hug and kissed him on the cheek. "Of course this doesn't change the way we see you Naruto." said Ino with the rest of their friends nodding in agreement. "Thank you everyone." said Naruto. After that, the rest of the exam went smoothly. The final exam was on the three academy jutsu the Henge, Replacement, and a Clone jutsu. Naruto and friends all easily passed. "Alright class if you passed please be back here on Monday morning for team assignments. Class dismissed." said Iruka.
