Chapter 5
Author notes. I don't own the Pokémon or Naruto series. Honedge and Flareon are 2 of Naruto's 3 permanent pokémon. Piplup and Luxio are 2 of Dawn's permanent pokémon. Boltund is 1 of Hana's 3 permanent pokémon. Hana's 2nd permanent pokémon is revealed this chapter. I will also be updating earlier chapters if I find spelling errors or grammar errors. If you have any suggestions for the other permanent pokémon on their teams please put it in a review. I'm not sure which pokémon to put in for the last permanent spot. It most likely will not be legendary unless I have a really good reason for it to be a legendary pokémon. Also sorry for the longer wait for an update. I spent time with family for the holidays.
As Team 11, Aneka, and Koga arrive back at Tazuna's house Kakashi asked, "Did you learn anything and who is this?" "This is Aneka Uzumaki and her son Koga. The only thing that we learned is Gato is bleeding Wave dry and lets his's thugs harass the townsfolk." answered Hana. "Did you say Uzumaki?" exclaimed Kakashi. "Yes Kakashi-Sensei. She is my mother's younger sister." said Naruto. "I never knew Kushina-Sama had any siblings. But she didn't like to talk about her family or the village of Uzushiogakure. I don't think she like to remember everything she lost." said Kakashi. Aneka nodded as she said, "Yeah I can understand that. It's not my favorite subject to discuss." "Alright Team 7 now that Team 11 is back we are going to go find a spot to train." said Kakashi. "Hai Sensei." said Team 7. "Naruto, why don't you tell me about your life was like." said Aneka. "Sure Aneka-Oba-San." said Naruto before explaining his past the good and the bad. "I'm looking forward to meeting your adoptive mother. So, I can thank her for taking you in." said Aneka. "Can you show us some pokémon?" asked Koga. Naruto, Dawn, and Hana chuckled at Koga's enthusiasm to see a pokémon. Dawn released Piplup, Naruto released Honedge, and Hana released Boltund. "As you can see pokémon come in many different shapes and sizes." said Hana. "I so want one. Their so cool." said Koga. "When we get back to Konohagakure we will see if any of the pokémon we have will take a liking to you. You as well Oba-San if you want one." said Naruto. "If you don't mind me asking. Why didn't you take out the thugs, who were harassing you? Also how did you survive the destruction of Uzushiogakure?" asked Dawn. "I don't have any ninja training. I wanted to be a merchant when I was a kid not a ninja. Not everyone in the clan were ninja. I was here in wave visiting a friend of mine when Uzushiogakure was attacked." answered Aneka. Everyone nodded in understanding.
Team 7 came back just before Tsunami finished dinner. Everyone was enjoying the dinner and complementing Tsunami on her cooking. Irani suddenly slammed his hands on the table and said, "You people make me sick. Acting like hero's. Sticking you noses into business that has nothing to do with you. It will just get you killed. Hero's don't exist in this world. You people don't know how the people in this village have suffered. I bet none of you have suffered one day in your life. Living in your big, safe village. None of you know what suffering is." As Irani's rant finished Naruto spoke up, "Kid, your life may be tough right now, but you haven't suffered." Irani glared at Naruto and was about to retort when Naruto continued, "You still have a mother and Grandfather who love you. You have a roof over your head and food on the table. Have you ever been beaten until you were unconscious 2 to 3 times a week? Have you ever had to scrounge through trashcans for your next meal? How about watching your entire family get murdered by your older brother?" Irani shook his head at each of the questions as tears were forming in the corner of his eyes. "I was an orphan. At the age of three the caretaker at the orphanage would through me out at dawn and not let me back in till nightfall. I had to eat whatever I could find in trashcans. The villagers would chase me and if they caught me, they would beat me till I didn't respond. It wasn't until I was adopted that my life improved. It was Sasuke here that had to watch his brother murder his family. So, remember, no matter what someone else has it worse than you." finished Naruto. Irani stood up and ran to his room crying. "Sorry for ruining dinner." said Naruto as he walked toward the door. "Where are you going Naruto-Kun?" asked Hana. "I'm going to go blow off some steam." answered Naruto as he left. "Sensei's is it true what Naruto said about his life true?" asked Sakura. "That was the sugar-coated version of." answered Kakashi. Tsunami, Tazuna, and Team 7 looked down in thought 'How could people do that to a kid.' Aneka, Koga, and Yumako shed tears for the pain Naruto went through. "Come along Dawn-Chan. Let's go check on Naruto-Kun." said Hana. "Hai Sensei." replied Dawn.
In a clearing close to the house Dawn and Hana found Naruto punching a tree leaving fist-sized indents in its trunk. "Naruto-Kun are you alright" asked Dawn as she and Hana approached Naruto. Naruto took a deep breath and let it out slowly then answered, "Yeah I'm fine. Irani's rant just brought up some bad memories." Hana walked up to Naruto and brought him into a passionate kiss after the kiss she said, "The past can be painful, but you can't let it stop you from moving forward." "Remember Naruto-Kun, you're not alone anymore. You have Hana-Chan and me. You also have Sarha, Daisy-Kaasan, Aneka, Koga, and all our friends back in the village." said Dawn before she kissed him just as passionately as Hana did. "Thank you girls, I need to hear that." said Naruto. Naruto pulled out a blanket from a sealing scroll and laid it down on the ground under a nearby tree. "I don't want to go back to the house right now." said Naruto as he laid on the blanket. Dawn and Hana looked at each other, then laid down on each side of Naruto. The next morning a girl wearing a pink kimono walked into the clearing looking for medical herbs. She sees three people asleep under a tree. 'They are part of the backup Team at showed up while Zabuza was fighting. Maybe I should get rid of them.' Thought the girl as she approached the group. As the girl reached down towards Dawn Naruto spoke, "It's not smart to surprise a shinobi." The girl 'eeped' as she quickly stood up. "Sorry but you could get sick sleeping out here it gets cold at night." "Thanks for the concern but we are fine. Hana-Chan Dawn-Chan it's time to get up." said Naruto as he kissed each of their foreheads. The girl blushed seeing the tender display of affection. "Five more minutes Naruto-Kun." murmured both Hana and Dawn. "Come on girls you need to get up we have a guest." said Naruto. Dawn and Hana yawned as they sat up. "So, Naruto who is this?" asked Dawn as she took in the girls appearance. She has long black hair, pale skin and large, dark-brown eyes, and a slender frame wearing a pink kimono with white snowflake pattern and a white obi. "Not sure she was just entering the clearing as I was waking up." answered Naruto. "My name is Haku Yuki. I saw you sleeping out here and just wanted to make sure you were all right." said Haku. "Thank you for checking on us. I'm Dawn Berlitz, this is Naruto Uzumaki, and this is Hana Inuzuka." said Dawn. Hana noticed Haku was holding a basket with herbs in it and asked, "What sort of herbs are you collecting?" Haku looked at the basket then looked at Hana then answered, "A friend cut his hand making dinner a few days ago. So, I'm getting herbs to help with pain and to help prevent infection." "Do you want some help gathering them?" asked Naruto. Haku thought for a moment, then answered, "That would be helpful. Thank you." Naruto, Dawn, and Hana nodded and helped Haku gather the needed herbs. As everyone was picking the needed herbs Haku asked, "Why do you guys get stronger?" Naruto, Dawn, and Hana look at each other then said together, "We get stronger to protect each other and our other important people." Haku smiled as she said, "Then you will be incredibly strong. I believe that as long as you have something to protect you will find true strength." "We agree this that." said Hana as everyone went back to gathering the herbs. "Haku-San, I know some medical jutsu. I could see if I can help your friend recover faster." said Hana. A hesitant look appeared on Haku's face, but she quickly schooled her expression. "Thank you for the offer but it's mostly healed the herbs are just precautionary measure. Thank you for helping me get the herbs, but I have to get back to my friend. Goodbye I hope to see you all again." said Haku. Dawn and Hana said "Goodbye Haku. Hope you friend gets better." As she was leaving the clearing Naruto called out, "Haku tell Zabuza, I would like a rematch when he gets better." As Haku turns around with senbons in her hands ready to throw them, but all she saw was a swirl of leaves.
Hana, Dawn, and Naruto appeared in front of Tazuna's house and walked in. Yakumo, Team 7, and Tazuna's family was sitting at the table having breakfast. "Kakashi-Sensei we met Zabuza's accomplice this morning." said Naruto as he and the others walked in. "Did you guys learn anything of use?" asked Kakashi. "Yeah, the fake Hunter-nin is named Haku Yuki and has knowledge about medical herbs." said Dawn. "She also said her 'friend' was mostly healed, and she was just getting herbs as a precaution. So, we should expect to see Zabuza again soon." said Hana. "That is some useful information. From her name she might be from the Yuki clan from Kirigakure. So, she may have the Hyōton Kekkei Genkai. But are you sure it was Zabuza's accomplice?" asked Kakashi. "Yes Kakashi-Sensei, as she was leaving I said to her 'Tell Zabuza that when he gets better I want a rematch.' She stopped and spun around as I Shunshin us here." said Naruto. Kakashi nodded before saying, "We will need to plan how to deal with Zabuza and Haku." "Kakashi-Sensei, the way I see it the simplest plan is the best. Team 7 and 11 just guard Tazuna at the bridge. We should also have two of us watching over Tsunami and Irani." said Naruto. "Sounds like a good plan Naruto. But why not just have one of the teams watch over Tsunami and Irani?" asked Hana with Kakashi agreeing with her. "Zabuza knows there is a second team here so, he might bring in reinforcements. I also have a feeling that Gato might try to backstab Zabuza and try to take Tsunami and/or Irani hostage." said Naruto. "We will go with your plan Naruto. Who wants to guard the house?" said Kakashi. Yakumo and surprisingly Sakura volunteered to guard the house. Hana walked up to Sakura while grabbing a pokéball and released Sirfetch'd. "Sakura, this is Sirfetch'd. Sirfetch'd you will be working with Sakura here to guard Tsunami and Irani." said Hana as she hands Sakura the pokéball and takes her out back to teach her how to work with Sirfetch'd. The next morning Sakura and Yakumo wish the rest of Team 7 and 11 good luck as they head to the bridge with Tazuna.
