With Rain
Looking over her shoulder once again to make sure she isn't being followed, Rain decides to call her boyfriend and go to the amusement park called Spaceland. Meeting up at the bus stop, Sei stops before Rain, smiling.
"Hey there, Rainy." He strokes her hair. "How are you doing today?"
"Good," she says simply. "You ready to go to Spaceland?"
"Are you sure? What about work?"
"What about it? I finished all my cases for today so why not?"
Sei laughs. "Okay, if you say so."
Rain looks at the bus.
Gintik Hagmay materializes behind her. "Oh, I get it. Today, nowadays, all buses have cameras in the back. This means, that if the FBI were to follow you, you couldn't do the same trick on the bus that Light Yagami did. But I'm sure you would find a way." Gintik Hagmay looks over his shoulder. "Even I can't tell who is wearing a Hydra mask but I'm sure you'll figure it out."
Rain and Sei climb into the bus and sit in the very back of the bus. They snuggle close together with Sei snuggling his chin against her head while she snuggles her head on his shoulder. Sei looks down at his phone, looking at all the rides, while Rain looks ahead as the door closes on a passenger. The door opens slightly and the passenger climbs on board and sits in an empty seat.
Rain keeps her eyes on the passenger, activating her Shinigami eyes.

Rain's eyes drift up to the camera at the front of the bus and sees it shining on the passenger. As Rain returns her gaze to the passenger, she spots something that makes her narrow her eyes.
The Hydra mask.
Rain blinks twice before looking ahead.
"Something on your mind?" Sei asks.
"Is it that obvious?"
"After dating you for a few years, I can tell what you're thinking."
Rain looks at him. "No, you can't, you sure as hell can't. But I appreciate you trying." Rain looks back at the passenger just in time to see him put on his Hydra mask.
The other passengers on the bus don't bother paying attention. Honestly, in a world run by Kira, it is no surprise some people decide to put on a mask in public.
As the bus comes to a halt, Rain and Sei get off, and they walk the rest of the way to Spaceland. As they're walking the rest of the way, Rain keeps an eye on the passenger as he gets off the train. Licking her lips, she pauses and watches him walk a different path.
As they walk through the entrance of Spaceland and into the amusement park, Sei smiles. "Man, there are so many rides I want to go on."
"Ahh," Gintik Hagmay says. "I remember Spaceland; such good memories. Man, I would kill to ride on the rollercoasters again."
Rain looks at him.
"I know, I know," he says, holding his hands up defensively, "I'm a Shinigami and I can kill to make life easier, I know."
Rain keeps a straight face the entire time as she goes on a ride, especially after seeing more of the Hydra masks before her.
As Rain waits in line to get cookies and creme ice cream cone, she notices the vendor has a Hydra mask in his inner pocket. Rain stares at the man with a blank expression, activating her Shinigami eyes once more.

"So, what is the an exactly?" the captain asks Hydra as he takes a sip of coffee.
Hydra laughs behind his rubber mask. "Psychological warfare. With all the masks we've distributed in Japan, Kira will start to feel uneasy because there are people with Hydra masks, and given how Hydra can be anyone, Kira won't know who to trust. But here's the real banger: all the people who have a Hydra mask, only five of them are agents working with us. Everyone else is just some random civilian we paid to follow a certain route and wear the Hydra mask in front of people at certain times. And because there's so many Hydra masks…"
"Kira won't be able to tell the decoys from the real ones," the captain realizes. "Perfect."
"Our five targets remain the same, along with an additional one. We're going to have our Hydra copies, some real, some fake, trail after Angel 'IV' Yagami."
"And why is that?"
"IV Yagami is the voice who has been trying to fool us. That isn't going to work. We're going to take IV Yagami off the chessboard, which could take away Kira's voice. If Kira is working with the police force and using IV Yagami for verbal strength, then getting him anxious, and making him crack is our ticket to punching Kira in the gut."
The captain smiles. "Good." The captain sips his coffee again. "By the way, we're under investigation."
Hydra looks at him. "And why is that?"
"Drug trafficking," the captain says simply. "Yeah, drug trafficking."
Hydra laughs. "Please, total crap. It's gotta be something that Kira did. Kira can't touch Hydra but he can get the people wearing the mask investigated." He laughs again. "Trying to turn the good people of Britain against us, classic. But we've had more experience with this military psychological warfare than Kira has. I'm even willing to bet that Kira has never served in the Japanese Self-Defense Force. If we can keep this up, we'll cause Kira to shake from the core."
Hydra takes out a zippo and begins flicking it. "If Kira is going to turn our own people against us, then we'll do the same to him. We'll get Kira's people to turn against him." His eyes widen behind the mask. "I have an idea." He moves toward his captain. "It is easy to blend into a crowd when you know what to wear. It is easy to put on a Kira cloak and call yourself a Kira follower, just as easy as it is to put on a Hydra mask."
The captain flinches. "Are you saying..."
"I am. Infiltration, saboteur, spy, espionage, and above all else, smoke and mirrors." He turns to the other men in the room. "We're going to send one of our agents into Kira's fan club community. Have any of you played the original Modern Wafare 2 game? False flag operation, just like the airport massacres, but it is not going to be a massacre. Well, we know it won't be."
"What are you planning?" a sergeant asks. "Hydra, is this..."
"Necessary, absolutely. Kira is turning our people against us, we will do the same to him. Let's start with his followers so he has no connections and after that... we'll work our way up to the government. Sooner or later, Kira will have no allies and be all alone. He will be ours."

With Rain
Arriving home hours after her date with Sei at Spaceland, Rain opens her curtains slightly so she can see outside.
A car pulls up and ArchAngel steps out from the passenger side. Coming out from the driver's side was Masumi Kagami herself. Deciding to head outside to greet her friend, Rain opens the door as ArchAngel steps in.
"Rain," Masumi smiles. "Always a pleasure to meet you."
Rain reaches out and hugs her. "Did my brothers give you any trouble?"
"Nah, your brothers could never give me any trouble."
Rain pats her shoulders. "Tell your parents and Rei I said hi."
"Will do."
Masumi steps forward and kisses Archer and Angel on the lips.
"See ya later," ArchAngel says as they ave to her.
"Next time, I'll pick up the check," Masumi tells her boyfriends.
"How can we resist free food," Archer snarks.
Masumi waves one more time before leaving. She heads back to her car and drives off.
Rain looks at them. "How was your date with your girlfriend."
"Nice," Angel answers. "Always a pleasure to go on a date with Masumi."
"I'm the better boyfriend though," Archer says confidently, "it's okay, big brother, you'll catch up to your baby brother someday."
Rain closes the door. "Guys, Hydra is in Japan." When she sees that she's caught their attention, she continues to speak. "Not physically, but Hydra is leaving people with masks in Japan. The inside men we have locked away at the NPA, I believe Hydra put a GPS tracker of some kind on their persons. The fact that there are more people with Hydra masks seems to prove that theory because Hydra would have no reason to send more Hydra masks if the inside men were still in play."
"Oh," Angel says. "So... Hydra is expanding, having more inside people wear Hydra masks?"
"I've done a background search on the civilians wearing the Hydra mask." Rain locks the door. "No criminal backgrounds, nothing to connect them to Hydra in England. Civilians are being paid to wear masks to frighten us. Classical psychological warfare tactics." Rain heads for the couch. "Good news is, these guys are harmless but they do follow us so they're liable to get annoying. I don't know what their endgame is but given that they're on our route, someone is feeding them information on what we do, which means, there must be more stalkers. I did see some people in Hydra masks with English names. I'm willing to bet those are agents sent over from England. Hydra is escalating so we're going to have to escalate ourselves."
Rain heads to her computer. "The other day, yesterday, I 'discreetly' contacted a fellow Kira follower in England and I asked him to do some research."
"What kind of research?" Angel asks.
Rain turns on her computer and opens up several hospitals. "When the idea of terminally ill patients came to mind, I did a little research on hospitals specializing in people who have terminal illnesses like cancer or some kind of incurable, inoperable disease. I came up with a long list of names, more than two hundred. But get this: they're all in the general area around the British Royal Marines headquarters."
Archer flinches. "Okay, but, does that prove the theory of where these people come from or?"
"I looked up the names of the hospitals online but I had a Kira follower send me information about all patients admitted there in the last two months. You'll never guess who was on there."
Angel looks up. "The Hydras we killed on live TV."
Rain nods. "And 'Bingo' was his name-o."
"E-I-E-I-O," Archer sings offhandedly.
"So, what now?" Angel asks.
Rain narrows her eyes. "We're going to get the names and faces of every terminally ill patient in all the hospitals and we're going to put them out of their misery."
Angel shakes his head. "No, what if they're innocent?"
Rain looks at her. "Victory cannot be achieved without sacrifice. Besides, they're already going to die."
Angel flinches. "But, what if they're just being paid to do it, like the civilians who might be getting paid to stalk us?"
"Kira is no stranger to killing innocent people," Rain points, "if they get in his way. And all these terminally ill patients have no problem becoming Hydra to fight us. So, I'm fine with killing them. Besides, I think it is a luxury for them to get killed by Kira. After all, they're already dying slowly from whatever terminal illness they have so why not put them out of their misery right now?"
Archer shrugs. "I'm up for it."
"What?" Angel says.
"If they're willing to put civilians in danger, then so are we," Rain says. "It's time to get our hands dirty and it all starts with a notebook and a pencil." Rain removes her DeathNotee from her inner jacket pocket and lays it flat on the ground. Opening the first front page, she puts the pencil to paper.
