20XX August 1st
Morning.
The sun shines through the window as the birds are chirping while flying past.
Inside the cabin, Sonic and Rouge are staring at a sleeping pink hedgehog on a sofa as Rouge looks at Sonic with suspicion.
"Sonic, I couldn't help but notice that hedgehog in here. Who is that?" Rouge asks while pointing at Amy.
"Just a friend of mine at Hedgehog Town, Amy Rose." Sonic introduces Amy to Rouge.
"Really. Is she your girlfriend?" Rouge asks with a teasing smile.
"Nah. We worked together at Little Planet, so you could say we're best friends." Sonic explains while shrugging his shoulders.
Rouge can see how and then stares at Amy again while thinking.
"Sonic, Rouge! We have visitors! Come here!" Madonna calls as Sonic and Rouge turn around and leave Amy alone.
Afterwards, Sonic and Rouge come across the G.U.N. Commander Abraham Tower alongside a large black legless alien and a human man in a suit, who're standing in front of Madonna.
"Oh. Here they are." Madonna chuckles while waving, making the 3 turn around.
"Hey, Abe." Sonic salutes with a confident smile as the Commander does the same.
"Sonic. We meet again. And I see Rouge isn't doing anything that breaks our code." The Commander said.
"Of course. Rouge is well behaved after all and her duty as a trainee is going well." Madonna said while waving.
"Donna! You don't have to embarrass me like that!" Rouge complains as she pouts.
"So this little hedgehog is the subject for today. We finally meet at last, Sonic the Hedgehog." The large black alien raised his hand after his deep distorted voice called.
"What…" Sonic takes a few steps backwards after seeing the alien in front of him.
"This is Black Doom. He's one of G.U.N.'s scientists that aids in medication." Rouge introduces Black Doom to Sonic.
"Okay." Sonic finally shakes Black Doom's hand, realising that he's absolutely massive compared to a 2 feet tall hedgehog.
After sharing hands with Black Doom, a human shakes Sonic's hands as he's glad to see him.
"Sonic, it's been an honour seeing you. I'm Agent Stone, the member of the Personnel Act of the Regional Agency, also known as P.A.R.A. Division." Agent Stone introduces himself out of respect.
"Heh. Nice meeting you too, Stone. So, Abe, these guys must know Eggman, right." Sonic points out as he asks.
"Eggman. Ahem. He's…"
"Dr. Robotnik was our top scientist until he turned his back on humanity. Although, it was unexpected of a little hedgehog to fight a human with 300 IQ. An impressive performance." Black Doom interrupts Agent Stone while commending Sonic's actions.
"Exactly. That's really impressive." Agent Stone agreed.
"Will you focus? Agent Garnet, Dr. Robotnik's target was at Westside Island and we mustn't disturb their peace. So we need either Sonic or Agent Rouge to do the job." The Commander requested while handing over the tablet that shows what Eggman is doing to Westside Island.
"Sorry, Commander, but Rouge is still in training. Sonic, on the other hand, you should ask him out." Madonna raises her hand as the trio turn to Sonic.
"You want me to do your job? I'll decide what I do or not. So you better wait, old man." Sonic answers while folding his arms.
"But this is urgent!" Agent Stone quickly rushes towards Sonic until Black Doom stops him.
"Patience, Agent Stone, the hedgehog needs his time." Black Doom says as he lets Sonic go.
Sonic and Rouge look at the Commander as the Commander sighs while rubbing his temples as he shows his green and brown heterochromia eyes.
"Alright. I understand. But let me tell you this. Do not die on all of us. Understand?" The Commander warned.
Sonic nods while looking serious.
"Good." The Commander can tell Sonis is trying to prepare himself mentally after what happened to him earlier.
Agent Stone and Black Doom are at a point that they're accepting Sonic's decision
"Welp. That's settled. Also, Sonic, who's that hedgehog with you earlier?" Madonna asked.
"Amy Rose. A friend of mine at Hedgehog Town. She saved me yesterday after Eggman sent his bucket of bolts to kill me." Sonic tells the truth after answering Madonna's question.
"So the doctor is still out on a hunt. Heh, he doesn't know when to quit." Madonna smirks.
"No. He doesn't. That's why we're asking you to capture the traitor. Don't forget that he took your home, family and friends, especially when he almost killed Miss Gordon." The Commander said as Sonic clenches his fists.
"I know. That's why Eggman's about to see the new and improved version of Sonic." Sonic grins as determination hits him.
Sonic, Rouge, Madonna, the Commander, Agent Stone and Black Doom are in an agreement that Eggman must be stopped and it's up to Sonic to face him head on.
"Oh, Sonic. You know what to do with Rouge." Madonna remembers as she had Sonic realising what he should be doing.
"Huh?" Rouge halts out of shock as Sonic grabs Rouge by the skirt and yanks her as Rouge shrieks. "Donna! What are you doing!?"
"Relax. Sonic's got you covered, right Sonic?" Madonna asks.
"Right." Sonic nods while smiling.
"Oh. And be careful with the nerves. You don't wanna hurt her like that."
"Yes, ma'am." Sonic nods, leading to Rouge scream out Madonna's name.
As for the Commander, Agent Stone and Black Doom, the trio are unsure what to say as Madonna is allowing something questionable to happen to Sonic and Rouge.
"It's okay. I know Sonic very well. He's a fast blue hedgehog, so he's got this." Madonna laughed while opening the fridge with 4 cans of beer. "Wanna drink?"
"Ahem! No thanks." The Commander declines as well as Agent Stone while Black Doom takes the can, opens it and chugs it down with one whole can.
"At least Doom over there is enjoying himself." Said Madonna while drinking.
As for Sonic and Rouge, in a bedroom, Rouge's back is bare as she pants.
"Sonic… Please… No more…" Rouge whimpers as she twitches, even her bat wings are closing up.
"Don't worry, Rouge. Just one more and it's over." Sonic said as he's ready with a grin.
As Rouge shrieks, Sonic sits up and sighs.
"Hoo. And that's that."
"Hmph! Honestly! Why does it always happen to me!?" Rouge cries as she's revealed to have blue quill needles on her back and her shoulders.
"Come on. Madonna did want you to get better. Also I had to pull out my quills for this." Sonic sighs while rubbing his head and hops off the bed.
"But still, why do I have to go through dry needling everyday?" Rouge complained.
"Don't look at me. I don't even know anything either. So sit back and relax. I got a girl to check out." Sonic walks out of the bedroom as he leaves Rouge alone.
After Sonic leaves the bedroom, he sees Amy being introduced by Madonna, the Commander, Agent Stone and Black Doom.
As Amy listens, Sonic arrives while standing behind Amy.
"Sonic. How's Rouge's session coming along?" Madonna asks.
"Going great. Hey, Amy." Sonic waves as Amy gasps and then glomps onto Sonic himself. "Oof!"
"Sonic! Thank goodness you're still okay! I knew you're still alive!" Amy cries while clinging onto Sonic.
"Amy. It's okay. I'm fine." Sonic chuckles while placing his hands onto Amy's shoulders, letting her know he's fine.
"So this is your friend. Looks like you two really do know each other. Not that I blame you." Madonna sighs while finishing her can of beer.
"It seems you have taken an interest in these hedgehogs." Said Black Doom.
"Why do you ask?" Madonna asked.
"Because I remember having a hedgehog with me a long time ago." Black Doom closes 3 of his eyes as he knows a certain species he knew in the past.
The Commander feels the same way as he closes his eyes and then shakes his head while looking at Sonic and Amy.
"Miss Rose, are you sure you want to go with Sonic?" The Commander can tell the battle is highly dangerous for those that step in Westside Island.
"Of course! With my trusty Piko Piko Hammer, I'll be unstoppable with Sonic." Amy pridefully accepts her fate while holding out her hammer.
"Is that why I saw a hammer that destroyed Eggman's badniks? It was light." Sonic points out the weight of a hammer that Amy wields.
"It may be light, but I can still beat those badniks no problem! It's okay, Sonic, I'm always here for you." Amy holds Sonic's hands as Sonic lowers his head and then raises it with a confident smile.
"Abe, let me go with Amy. We can beat Eggman together." Sonic raises his fist, grinning as he's more than prepared for his next chapter.
It's an interesting development as the Commander sees Sonic very differently, starting from being a shy kid that is afraid of strangers, to being distrustful towards others so he can work alone, to finally being able to trust his friends as well as helping them as he does what he sees is the right thing to do.
In Madonna's case, Sonic has finally moved on from his fear of facing Eggman and will do his best to stop him once and for all.
"You serious!?" Agent Stone is surprised to see Sonic accepting G.U.N.'s request.
"Yeah. We'll take him down." Sonic concludes.
"Yay! Let's go to Westside Island!" Amy cheers.
"Sure. But we need something to fly." Sonic said.
"Well ain't you lucky! Since we're G.U.N. International security organisation, we can fly you to Russia. They have a plane that is available to you. Here." Madonna shows an old plane that appears to be a Soviet biplane fighter developed from the I-15, Polikarpov I-153.
Sonic grins, knowing it's the plane he's got and it gives him the breeze to fly with.
"Deal." Sonic willingly accepts the plane as he's about to leave with a Soviet biplane fighter with him.
"Good. Agent Stone, Black Doom. Let the others know we're heading to Russia." Said the Commander.
"Of course. We'll do that." Agent Stone walks back as he's about to leave the cabin.
"Indeed. We must make haste." Black Doom agrees.
Before Sonic and others are getting Rouge and leave, a glass shatters as they stop.
A scream is heard through the bedroom as Sonic, Amy and the G.U.N. turn out of shock.
"Rouge?" Madonna calls out.
Sonic and Amy rush in as Sonic's speed is unmatched while Amy dash forward.
In the bedroom, Rouge is seeing a bunch of Eggrobos that appear through the window while pointing their guns at her.
"I already know Eggman is on a hunt around the world, but I didn't expect them to go after me!" Rouge screams as she realises that her dry needling session is still unfinished.
Before Rouge gets lasers on her, a blue ball dives through a robot, bouncing on the other as he uncurls himself, kicking the 3rd one's gun and drop kick the Eggrobo's head by blowing 3 robots up, leaving the other 2 remaining.
Amy appears by smashing one Eggrobo's head and then swings upward by hammering it out the window by crashing into the tree, blowing up 2 robots.
"Sonic?"
"Heard your scream. Looks like you needed some help." Sonic said while pulling out the needles in a couple of seconds.
"Ow!" Rouge yells as she growls at Sonic and pulls up her dress as she stands alongside Sonic and Amy.
"Hi! You must be Sonic's friend. That's great! I'm Amy Rose, it's nice to meet you, miss." Amy waves while introducing herself.
"Uh… Nice to meet you. Rouge the Bat." Rouge introduces herself to Amy while nervously shaking hands.
"As much as you girls love to chat, but we got company." Sonic points out more as there's Buzz Bombers and Eggrobos appearing outside the cabin.
Punching his own palm, Sonic grins as Amy raises her hammer and Rouge raises her arms by doing a karate pose.
"Looks like Eggman's here to party again. Then let's party!" Sonic's grin widens as he's about to beat Eggman's robots alongside his friends.
As the trio jumps, Sonic spin dashes as he charges through a bunch of Buzz Bombers and Eggrobos as he creates a track of explosions with animals being free.
One thing he notices is rings coming out of Eggrobos instead of animals as it had Sonic curious about Eggman's creations.
With Rouge kicking all the robots and Amy hammering them, Sonic spins on them as he kicks them and rushes through them like a juggernaut.
On the other side, Madonna, Agent Stone and the Commander fire their guns as Madonna raises her sniper rifle and fires through different Eggrobos and a Buzz Bomber as explosions are everywhere.
Black Doom raises his arms as he scrunches the Eggrobos and throws it, piercing the robots as he along with the G.U.N. members are hiding behind the sofa.
"Damn it! What is going on!?" The Commander yells while firing his pistol.
"It's Eggman! He found us! Or should I say him!" Madonna remembers that Eggman is directly after Sonic after his defeat in both South Island and Little Planet.
"You mean Dr. Robotnik is here!?" Agent Stone asks while firing his pistol.
"Of course. He's close." Black Doom said, alerting 3 G.U.N. members as Madonna is the first to rush towards the bedroom as the Commander shouts her name.
"Agent Garnet!"
Outside, Sonic rushes down as he's reaching the lake, leading him to slide.
He knows Amy and Rouge are smashing the robots as Sonic is looking around the lake area, the place he trained in.
Alerting himself, Sonic leaps with a backflip, seeing a driller car as it slides with nobody in it.
"So you finally showed up, Eggman."
"Rgh! You knew I was here and you're still alive! But fret not, Sonic for it is a distraction!" Eggman's voice called as something crashed down, revealing itself to be a large red and black robot in a black cape. "Meet Black Eggman! This time, I'll crush you for real!"
Sonic raises his arms, preparing to fight a robot that's about to crush him.
As Black Eggman dashes forward, Sonic spin dashes and then jumps while still spinning, leading to Black Eggman to dodge, causing Sonic to hop on a tree and bounce back towards Black Eggman as the robot gets slammed to the stomach as it slides.
"Not bad, but can you avoid this!?" Black Eggman fires his bullets as Sonic dashes on the lake while avoiding the bullets and then zips Past while booting the arm as it accidentally fires bullets at Eggrobos and Buzz Bombers. "No! My babies! You little!"
Unexpectedly, a bullet hits Black Eggman's shoulder as he turns around, only for Madonna to appear while shooting a large robot.
"Don't you even think of causing more harm, traitor!" Madonna shouts while changing her magazine and continues firing at Black Eggman.
As Sonic hits the robot's back, Black Eggman reveals its cape to be wings as Black Eggman laughs.
"Try and catch m-"
In a split second, Sonic tears the wings down as well as piercing through the body of a robot.
"Payback, Eggman!" Sonic raises his finger and wags it with a grin, causing the robot to have a massive explosion near Sonic and Madonna.
After the explosion, Eggman has revealed himself, all charred up as he's growling.
"Not only are you still alive, but you have the agency teaming up with you!" Eggman has now found out that Sonic has gotten stronger after his defeat, making Eggman think harder in order to beat Sonic.
But Sonic is not having any of it as he's clenching his fists.
"Dr. Ivo Robotnik! As the Commander of the Guardian Unit of Nations, we hereby place you under arrest! Do you have anything to say before we take you to court!?" The Commander shouts while pointing his pistol at Eggman.
"Commander Tower. Since you know about me, I guess you took my niece to prevent her from joining the Eggman Empire." Eggman growls while lowering his head towards Sonic and his friends.
"This has nothing to do with Molly!" The Commander snaps.
"Someday, she'll know the truth behind the Robotnik bloodline and she may pass it on from her once beloved uncle." Eggman's tone becomes more sinister as he then turns his attention towards Sonic.
"Eggman! Why're you doing this!? What did we ever do to you!?" Amy yells while holding up her hammer.
"Oh please, pink hedgehog, I won't answer! The truth is, Commander, your organisation is causing nothing but pain to the Robotnik family! I always hated you from the very beginning! And now you have an infestation going on, it gives me the desire to destroy your base as the Death Egg's first target!" Eggman's grin widens as Sonic and Amy gasps out of shock.
"Doctor, you should be ashamed of yourself. You're setting a bad example for humanity." Black Doom calls out Eggman as Eggman himself scoffs.
"I don't care! Sonic, when we meet at Westside Island, I'll destroy you with everything I got! And soon the chaos emeralds you hold will be mine! Farewell! Ohohohoho!" Cackling as he leaves, Eggman knows Sonic is about to come.
In the end, Eggman is gone.
Turning around, Sonic, Amy, Rouge, Madonna, the Commander, Agent Stone and Black Doom are circling together as they're about to prepare themselves.
"This is your next battle. Remember, you two, we need to stop Dr. Robotnik before he activates the Death Egg and destroys half of the Earth." The Commander warns.
"So, we're heading to Russia, get the plane and fly all the way to Westside Island. I bet your friends are there." Madonna said.
"They are." Sonic speaks out as the group looks at Sonic. "The acorn. I know Sally lives there. If we visit her home, then we need you guys to help them."
"But we're not supposed to be there. If we do, then…" Rouge stops herself as Agent Stone raises his hand.
"Wait. Commander, what are your thoughts?" Agent Stone asks.
"Hm… We don't have a choice. The Kingdom of Acorn is in need of assistance. Then it's settled. We'll go to Westside Island tonight. Sonic and Miss Rose will be going ahead of us while we head straight to the Kingdom." Said the Commander.
In conclusion, Sonic and Amy are heading out first as the G.U.N. is following from behind.
Sonic and Eggman are back as they're more stronger than before with Sonic's speed and strength vs. Eggman's mind and creation.
Tomorrow is the beginning of the battle for Westside Island.
