"Anyways look at you all retro," Damon pointed out at Stefan having expected Eliza to dress the part but not with that particular dress.

"Why are you here?,"

"Why wouldn't I be here? Bonnie deactivated the Gilbert invention, Isobel's gone, and it's founders day. Plus I wouldn't miss this for the world," Damon gestured to Eliza as Stefan nodded his head in agreement.

"Just don't start with me Damon,"

"Oh you started it Stefan with the whole I'm insecure leave Elena alone speech," as Damon mentioned Elena Eliza rolled her eyes knowing where this conversation was going.

"As long as you heard it,"

"Huh? What? You have no sense of humor Stefan,"

"Actually I have no sense of Damon humor,'

"Damon humor? Hey look I get it, I get it. I'm the hotter better, superior choice, and now you're scared that now Katherine is out of the picture that I'm going to turn all my attention to Elena now. But don't worry Elena is not Katherine,"

"You're right she's not," as Stefan spoke he noticed everyone looking in shock at something behind him.

Turning he too was stunned to see Elena looking exactly like Katherine from 1864. Eliza nudged Nik and they slipped off knowing where things were going to go.

Back at the Mackenzie house Jeremy was getting ready to head down to the square when he felt a familiar feeling behind him.

"Hey Anna,"

"Look at you,"

"Heh i know it's stupid huh? I'm part of the parade, but how are you doing? I've been so worried and I feel awful that I can't do more for you or Jackie,"

"Why? You didn't kill my mother your uncle did and we both know it was him,"

"Yeah I agree even Eliza agrees it was him. He doesn't understand though he hates all vampires he's just doing what he thinks is right even though it's all the wrong way of handling things,"

"Are you defending him?,"

"No, no way i just understand where he is coming from. He's convinced all the tomb vampires want revenge on this town, and he's just he's trying to protect it,"

"They do want revenge, or at least they did. But that's why we separated from them plus we started dating and I didn't want Eliza mad at me. But my mom wasn't after revenge she just wanted her life back. I've got to get out of this town though,"

"Wait you're leaving?,"

"I was thinking I want you to come with me,"

"What about Eliza?,"

"She would approve it. I could turn you, you wanted me too. Here it's my blood if you die with it in your system you'll come back," Anna said slipping a vial into Jeremy's hand.

"Anna..,"

"I know you, I know what it's like for you in this town. How Eliza and Jenna were your only people you could rely on til this big put together family came into your life. But when you're a vampire it is a completely different sensation the bonds are stronger and deeper,"

"I want to, I do but I don't think I can right now, I'm sorry," Jeremy said turning around only to find Anna gone.
