Sol Empire - Castle
A parallel dimension known as Sol Dimension is under attack by none other than Eggman, riding on his Egg Mobile as he wish to take the Sol Emeralds and use it to further his goals, of course his true goal is the Jeweled Scepter, but he can't let the heroes know that, naturally he is faced by an opposition to his goal.
Standing before him is a purple anthropomorphic cat, she stood bravely against the mad scientist. "Eggman, you have desecrate my world once again, this time I will show you no mercy !"
"Do your worst Blaze, I'm not leaving without the Sol Emeralds !" Eggman not cowering by Blaze's threat.
Blaze generate a stream of fire from her hands as Eggman activate a force field.
"You can't hope to defeat me with your little firecracker." Eggman taunting Blaze as he's protected from Blaze's fire stream inside his force field.
"There's more where that came from." Blaze engulfed herself in fire, she fly at Eggman with full speed and punched the Egg Mobile, while Eggman still protected by the force field, the impact is strong enough he got sent flying and crashing to a wall.
Blaze repeatedly punching and kicking the force field until it can't take anymore punishment, and so the force field function shortcircuited and ended up disabled.
Once the force field is down Blaze grabbed Eggman by the collar with her right hand and her left hand is engulfed in fire. "I'll make sure you won't be a nuisance to anymore people in the future."
Coral Cave - Altar
Somewhere else in the Sol Dimension is the Coral Cave, the place which hold the Jeweled Scepter and said to possess power surpassing even the Chaos and Sol Emeralds combined, and right know there are people seeking such power.
"After doing a thorough scanning of the cave it's clear that what we're looking for is beyond this path." Sage pointed at the altar further still.
While Eggman is dealing with Blaze, he sent Sage and Metal Sonic to look for the Jeweled Scepter, the object that Eggman truly sought after.
"Let's recap the plan one more time brother." Said Sage.
"Defeat the guards, take the Scepter and replaced it with the fake one to avoid suspicion." Asked Metal Sonic.
"Well then we'll be counting on you." Sage looked behind to see a robotic pirate and a green shark like man.
"Succeed and the rewards we promise is yours Captain Whisker." Said Metal Sonic.
"Heheh, it shall be done, come on Johnny, let's complete our mission." Captain Whisker and his first mate Johnny begin to fight the guards.
However there's another man behind Sage and Metal Sonic, and he looks very identical to Eggman with two small blue and green robots floating beside him.
"You really patch them up good doctor." Metal Sonic compliment the man as he watch Cpt. Whisker defeating the guards easily.
"Seeing I need underlings to do my bidding, the least I can do is to completely repair Whiskers and Johnny." Replied the man.
Cpt. Whisker and Johnny return with the Scepter in hand.
The man tried to grab the Scepter but Sage stops him and glare. "Eggman Nega, descendant of father from the future, I was given a lot of information about you, after your treacherous acts, you should be grateful father is willing to give you another chance, you dare try anything else and I'll make sure you regret it." Sage threatened Eggman Nega as he backed away.
"You're very sharp." The blue robot compliment Sage.
"Agreed." The green robot agreeing with the blue one.
"Mini, Mum, come back here." Eggman Nega call out the robots as both fly back to his side.
Sage take the sceptre and teleports it to Cyberspace while Metal Sonic went to the altar to put the fake Scepter in there,
unbeknownst to Eggman Nega Metal Sonic stored a Chaos Emerald inside his body, Metal Sonic uses it to erase the guards memories about the attack, amd heal their injuries, but they're still unconscious, he then return to Sage once he's done.
"Your help is appreciated, here's the control crown from Bowser's Castle, with this the Ifrit will be under your control." Said Sage.
"Excellent, with this Ifrit will bow before me...are you sure this thing will work ?" Eggman Nega asking for confirmation.
"Yes, I'm positive, be warned though should you ever use the Ifrit against us, we are always ready to retaliate." Metal Sonic threatened Eggman Nega.
"I'll be sure to keep that in mind, Whiskers! Johnny ! We're done here !" Eggman Nega and his robots left the cave.
Throne Room
Blaze is about to incinerate Eggman, however a boomerang hits her, knocking her away as she let go of her grip on Eggman.
"Ow, who did ?" Blaze rubbed her head as she saw Quick Man standing near Eggman. "Another one of your robots Eggman ? I'll turn this one into scrap heap in no time."
As Blaze got up, numerous leaf coming at her, Blaze fly to dodge the leaves and saw them sticking to the wall behind her, making it clear, the leaves are sharp.
Next a spinning metal blades and small tornado coming Blaze's way, but she counters them with her own fire tornado and melted the incoming saw blades.
Blaze is now surrounded by a lead bubble, followed by fire balls coming her way, Blaze managed to destroy the incoming projectiles by creating a large explosion.
Once the fire cleared up, a drill is headed towards Blaze and explodes, catching her off guard as she fell down.
Soon many other robots appear before Blaze. "Blaze let me introduce you, these are Wood Man, Quick Man, Heat Man, Flash Man, Metal Man, Air Man, Crash Man, and Bubble Man."
"Aaaand Andrew !" Andrew Oikonny leaped to the front.
"Yes, and Andrew." Eggman pinching the crown of his nose.
"I will succeed here and uncle Andross will acknowledge me as his successor !" Bragged Andrew.
"No matter how many you are, I will defeat all of you !" Blaze still showing signs of defiance.
"Heh ! Aren't you talking big, I do hope you can entertain us more than your measly guards." Boasted Flash Man.
"The security in this place is laughable, you might need to upgrade it, well assuming you managed to drive us out that is." Quick Man mocked Blaze's castle security.
Blaze glared the villains angrily for hearing them beating her guards without mercy.
"So you decided to continue to put your foot down huh ? Oh well, Flash Man." Eggman gave his order as Flash Man begin to act.
Flash Man used Time Stopper, preventing Blaze from moving, Flash Man grabbed a golden rings and places it on Blaze, he return to where he was standing before and ended Time Stopper.
Blaze tried to generate flames on her hand, however nothing came out. "What !? My flames ! It won't come out !?"
"Hahahah of course it won't, didn't you notice the gold rings I placed on you ?" Eggman pointed at Blaze.
Blaze looked around to see gold rings on her arms and legs.
"Those gold rings are made to restrain your powers, similar to the ones my grandfather made to restrain Shadow's power." Explained Eggman.
"Get this off now !" Demanded Blaze.
"Sure, once you tell me where you keep the Sol Emeralds." Eggman tries to bargain with Blaze.
"You know I will never answer that, i'd rather die than to hand over the emeralds to wicked people." Replied Blaze.
"Fine then, I guess I should just use the emerald detector, everyone lock her up in Wily's Castle." Ordered Eggman.
Blaze tried to run away, however Flash Man use Time Stopper again and this time he punch Blaze in the face, he deactivate Time Stopper and Blaze fall to the ground.
When all hopes seems lost for Blaze, Sonic and the heroes arrived just in time as they teleported to the throne Room.
"Sorry for the intrusion Blaze, but we..." Sonic and the others looked around to see Eggman and his army already here and Blaze is on the ground.
"Sonic ! What are you doing here !?" Eggman shocked to see Sonic.
"Call it a hunch, seeing the enemy targeting the Chaos Emeralds, why wouldn't they or you target the Sol Emeralds mext?" Asked Sonic.
"You think you're so clever do you for figuring out something so obvious, well too bad for you I have Blaze at my mercy, it's just a matter of time until she talks." Eggman pointed at Blaze.
"Sonic ! Be careful, one of them have power over time !" Blaze pointed at Flash Man.
"Flash Man ! Let's get her and get out for here !" Quick Man give his order.
Flash Man used Time Stopper again, allowing him to move freely and go after Blaze, however little does he know, he got punched by Madama Butterfly's fist, ending his Time Stopper.
"H-how can you move when time is stopped !?" Flash Man expressed his shock.
"I'm no stranger to technique like this." Bayonetta pull out her gun and begin to shoot Flash Man.
"Andrew you're here too ?" Asked Fox.
"That's right McCloud ! So you better surrender now and I might go easy on the punishment." Boasted Andrew.
"Umm...yeah sure, whatever you say." Fox ignore Andrew.
Flashback...
Neo Subspace Army Base
"Uncle give me a chance !" Andrew begging and refusing to let go of Andross's left leg.
"Will you stop being such an embarrassment ! And let go of my leg already !" Andross yelling at his nephew.
Andross saw Eggman looking at him and so he approached the mad scientist. "Eggman ! You said you have a mission to do ! Take Andrew with you !"
"But I..." Eggman tried to weasel his way out.
"No buts ! You've been working together with Wily are you not ? Then take my stupid nephew with you !" Andross shoved Andrew to Eggman. "Andrew this is your last chance ! I won't tolerate anymore screw ups !"
"Yes uncle I won't disappoint you !" Andrew saluting his uncle as Andross leave the main hall.
Flashback over...
"This guy is even more annoying than Orbot and Cubot, and that's saying something." Muttered Eggman.
Bayonetta begin shooting at Flash Man again.
Flash Man once again used his Time Stopper, and he counters with his own arm cannon, saving himself from Bayonetta's bullets.
"Quick ! If we all go at her at once ! There's no doubt we can at least distracts her !" Exclaimed Heat Man as he and the other robot masters are immune to Flash Man Time Stopper.
"Quick Man, you focus on getting the feline girl, she's our objective." Whispered Wood Man. "Pretend to attack that lady in black alongside us, once she's busy you snuck out and grabbed the purple girl."
Quick Man nodded as all the robot masters begin to attack Bayonetta.
Air Man and Metal Man combine their powers by conjuring a tornado and Metal Man throw his saw blades inside, causing the the saw blades to get launched in multiple directions.
Bayonetta used her guns to deflect the incoming saw blades, however she saw few of the blades are headed to her companions, she ignores the robot masters and begin shooting the saw blades headed towards the heroes, saving them.
Bayonetta saw a large burning boomerang headed her way, courtesy of Quick Man and Heat Man. Bayonetta conjures her Odette weapon and froze the burning boomerang.
Bayonetta then get struck by a barrage of sharp leaves from Wood Man, lightly cutting her, followed by Crash Man throwing bombs at her.
Bayonetta about to shoot it with her gun, but Flash Man did it first, causing the bombs to explode faster and knocking Bayonetta out as she crash to a wall.
Bayonetta saw Quick Man grabbing Blaze and about to take her outside the throne room.
While she can summon a demon to back her up, she might caused untold damage to the castle, and so she used her magic to end Time Stopper, allowing everyone to be able to move again.
"You can even undid my Time Stopper ? No matter I can do it again." Flash Man about to use Time Stopper again.
"We have to stop that one !" Bayonetta point out at Flash Man.
"I'm on it !" Bowser Jr. used the magic paint brush to disable Flash Man Time Stopper by slather him in a paint with x mark.
Blaze realizes she can move again and being carried away by Quick Man. "What the ! Hey ! Put me down !" Shouted Blaze.
"Blaze !" Sonic quickly run towards Quick Man and tackle him, knocking him down and dropping Blaze.
"I got you." Sonic helped Blaze stand.
"Thanks, you save me again." Blaze thanked Sonic.
"Sure what are friends for, but uhh why don't you fight back ?" Asked Sonic.
"Is this stupid gold rings ! One of those robots put this on me and it sealed my powers !" Blaze angrily tried to remove the limiter rings.
Sonic tried to help Blaze remove the rings, however Quick Man return the favor and tackle Sonic to the ground.
Quick Man grabbed his boomerang and about to hit Sonic, but Blaze jumped on him and covered his eyes.
"Hey ! I can't see !" Quick Man grabbed Blaze's left arm and hit her with his boomerang, Blaze refuse to let go as Quick Man run backward and pressing Blaze to a wall.
Sonic got up and pounce on Quick Man as Blaze let go. "Blaze ! Find somewhere safe ! I'll handle this clown !"
Blaze knowing she won't be much help nodded as she run away, and try to find a way to remove her limiter rings.
Sonic attack Quick Man with Spin Dash, however Quick Man dodge the attack as he runs away from Sonic, and true to his name Quick Man possessing super speed.
"So a race huh ? Really gutsy challenging me in my field." Sonic also runs to chase after Quick Man.
Castle Hallway
Sonic and Quick Man run around the Palace, many times clashing with one another.
"I can't believe this ! No one has been able to keep up with me before when it comes to speed." Quick Man voiced his disbelief as he run with Sonic running next to him.
"You're not so bad yourself, very few can keep up with me as well." Bragged Sonic.
Quick Man generate his boomerang and swing his weapon at Sonic, hitting the hedgehog at the face as Sonic is knocked down.
"Oww, that little..." Sonic got up and chase after Quick Man again.
Vacant Room
Meanwhile Blaze is staying at an empty room trying to remove the limiter rings, she found things like scissors, screwdrivers, wrench, anything to get the rings off of her.
"No good, no matter what I do or use this won't come off...I refuse to be too dependent on the Sol Emeralds, but this time i don't have much choice." Blaze tried to use her powers as a guardian to summon the Sol Emeralds, however none of the emeralds came to her side.
"Seriously ! Even these rings preventing me from summoning the emeralds !?" Blaze is incensed by the limiter rings Eggman put on her.
"Hold on ! I don't need to do that, i keep one emerald with me just in case." Turns out Blaze is keeping one Sol Emerald with her, specifically the purple Sol Emerald.
Blaze harnessing the Sol Emerald power as she's giving herself a massive power boost, so much that not even the limiter rings can hold back the power surging at Blaze, Blaze then burn the rings, making them charred and broken, Blaze then take the rings off of her.
Castle Hallway
Blaze left the room and try to find Sonic and Quick Man, along the way she saw many of her guards fell to the ground.
"Eggman will pay for this." Blaze choose to keep on moving as this isn't the best time to treat her guards.
Quick Man throw a boomerang at Sonic, but he's able to catch it and throw it back at Quick Man, Quick Man generate a larger boomerang, holding it like a sword and destroy the ones Sonic throw at him.
Quick Man dashed at Sonic and smacked him with his sword boomerang, knocking Sonic down, Quick Man about to hit Sonic again, but Sonic do a leg sweep on Quick Man's right leg, causing the robot master to fall down.
Sonic got up and kicked Quick Man's face, forcing him to drop his sword boomerang, Sonic jumped and perform a Homing Attack as he curled up in midair and descend at full speed, striking Quick Man in the stomach.
Quick Man screamed from the impact, but he refused to give up just yet, as he still lying on the ground he shot many boomerang projectiles at Sonic to distract him while he got up.
While Sonic is busy fending off the boomerangs, Quick Man back on his feet and with Sonic is distracted, he tackled Sonic to the ground, he generate a large boomerang again and about to cut Sonic down, Sonic lift his upper torso and spin his arm in circular motion and do a windup punch on Quick Man.
As the robot master got pushed back yet again, Sonic quickly charged at him and perform Phantom Rush, Sonic pummeling Quick Man with such speed that it looks like there's at least 4 people ganging up on Quick Man.
Quick Man is badly damaged, unable to believe he got beaten up badly from organic creature, he took a stand once again, but this time, he got struck by a fire ball from behind.
Quick Man and Sonic looked behind to see Blaze standing behind them.
Blaze didn't bother with words and sling another fireball at Quick Man, exploding upon contact at Quick Man, unable to withstand the explosion Quick Man is finally shutting down.
"You okay Sonic ?" Asked Blaze.
"Yeah, thanks for the save Blaze." Sonic thanked Blaze. "So your powers are back ?"
"I have one Sol Emerald on me, I didn't want to use it earlier because Eggman going after it, and I don't want to risk it." Explained Blaze. "I managed to get rid of the limiter rings by overloading it with the Sol Emerald."
"I see, clever move, now let's get back to the throne room, my friends must be done as well."
Throne Room
Back at the Throne Room, more fighting ensues, Metal Man throw his saw blades at Mario, which the plumber able to caught easily and throw it back at the robot master.
Wood Man steps in and throwing sharp leaves at the saw blades, stopping it from reaching Metal Man.
Mario engulfed his hands in flame and generate a fire stream at Wood Man, only for Heat Man to step in and absorb the heat.
Mario then stop with the fire attack and just punched the flame robot instead as he crashed at Wood Man who's behind him.
Bubble Man, thanks to Dr. Wily fixing his glitch finally able to walk on dry land now, he keep shooting lead bubbles at Fox only for the mercenary to shoot it with his blaster, popping the bubbles before it can come one to Fox.
Fox pull out another blaster and with each hands holding a blaster, with Bubble Man shooting his bubble projectile, Fox having a weapon in each hand able to shoot the bubbles and shoot Bubble Man directly.
After being shot, Bubble Man generate another large bubble, but this time he used it on himself, using the bubble as a shield.
Fox shot the bubble shield repeatedly, but the bubble shield is more durable than expected.
Bubble Man shoot a stream of small bubbles at Fox, while Fox scoffs at what he saw, once they made contact, the bubble projectile prove to pack a punch as Fox got knocked down and dropped his blasters.
Seizing the chance, Andrew pounce on Fox and pin him down.
Bubble Man sees this as a chance to defeat Fox, however Bayonetta used her Wicked Weave to grab Bubble Man and throw him at Crash Man as he about to throw a bomb.
Crash Man and Bubble Man suffers the explosion caused by the impact.
Fox headbutt Andrew, causing the monkey to wince from the pain, with his arms free from Andrew's grip, Fox punch Andrew at his face.
"Fox you ok ?" Bayonetta checks on Fox.
"Yeah, a little beat up, but I'll manage." Fox struggling to got up.
"Here, you need this." Bayonetta give Fox a green and purple lollipop. "The green one can heal your injuries, while the yellow one can grant you temporary invulnerability."
Fox take the green lollipop and eat it, crunching it with his sharp teeth, Fox felt the effect and his body is healed, Fox then take the yellow lollipop.
"Hey, Bayonetta, take this." Fox give Bayonetta the Ice Flower. "I have the Ice Materia on me, I just realize it would be redundant."
Bayonetta take the Ice Flower and absorbs it, changing her outfit colors from black to white and light blue. "Well now, if I'm going to do this then..." Bayonetta equipped Odette once again.
Fox and Bayonetta ready to finish off their opponents.
Flash Man shoots projectiles at Jr. angry that his Time Stopper have been nullified by the Magic Paintbrush preventing him from taking the easy way out.
Jr. then throw a brown goop from his brush at Flash Man, making his body sticky and massively restrain his movements.
"Hey ! I can't move !" Flash Man got stuck to the floor as he futilely struggle.
Next, Jr. used the brush to draw an anvil in midair and dropped it on Flash Man, damaging him severely.
Once he's done, Jr. saw Air Man, Crash Man, and Bubble Man frozen in blocks of ice.
Andrew also suffered bruises to his face, and with Fox is invulnerable thanks to Bayonetta's magic candy, there's nothing Andrew could do to hurt Fox as he begged for mercy.
Fox turned around to see Mario also finish with Heat Man, and Wood Man.
Soon after Sonic and Blaze return to the throne room with Sonic carrying the defeated Quick Man.
"Your forces are down Eggman ! Surrender now, hand over the emeralds and we may least you leave unharmed." Bowser Jr. states his demands.
"Oh no, whatever shall I do ? All the robot masters Wily lend me have been defeated, maybe I should retreat in shame." Eggman acting all dramatic about his defeat.
"No no no ! It's not supposed to go like this ! Uncle will name Dash as his successor instead of me !" Whined Andrew. "I was going to use that great power to prove I'm the best and get rid of Dash in the process !"
"So Andross is looking for Dash is he ?" Asked Fox. "Can't say I blame him considering you're a disappointment to him."
"Well he's wrong on that end !" Yelled Andrew.
"Yeah, so as I said we will be leaving." Said Eggman.
"Not without telling us where the emeralds are you're not !" Exclaimed Jr.
"Jr we know what you're trying to do here." Snarked Sonic. "And Eggman you're being too obvious, you still have tricks under your sleeves do you ?"
"No..." Jr. pull out the innocent, adorable little kid face as Sonic doesn't believe him.
"Along the way i saw all my guards have been defeated, you launched a full on assault on my palace, and now just because the tables have turned you decided to just turn tail and run ? I find this hard to believe too." Blaze also being skeptical.
"Well aren't you clever princess ? Well se..." Before Eggman can continue, Sage and Metal Sonic teleported to the throne room.
"Welcome back you two, any good news for me ?" Asked Eggman.
"Apologize father, but we're unable to locate the Sol Emeralds." Informed Sage.
"Sage ? Metal Sonic ? So you two involved in this are you ?" Asked Sonic.
"So we meet again my imperfect half, as much as I want to destroy you right here and now, I can tell you're not in peak condition so this kind of victory isn't worth it, Quick Man did this to you isn't he ?" Asked Metal Sonic.
"Well aren't you being chivalrous, but yeah I just had a hard fight with Quick Man." Answered Sonic.
"Hey Metal Sonic long time no see !" Jr. waved his hand at Metal Sonic.
"Jr ? So you're in their side ? If possible I don't want to fight you." Said Metal Sonic. "You even siding with Mario, what would Bowser said about this ?"
"You and Eggman should join us ! There's a perfectly good reason why dad and I siding with Mario !" Jr. tried to get Metal Sonic to join the heroes.
"Hello again Sonic, and yes we're here on Father's command, looking for the Sol Emeralds." Said Sage.
"I won't let you have them ! Without the Sol Emeralds my world will collide with your world, the outcome is also catastrophic for you as well." Explained Blaze.
"Fortunately such crisis can be averted, we can merge both Moebius and Sol Dimension without any harm to it's inhabitants." Continued Sage.
Blaze can't believe what she hears. "What ? How ?"
"Father have been working with many brilliant people from many worlds, and one of their goals is to link many worlds together and safely fuse them." Explained Sage.
"That sounds nice and all, but do you really think I would fall for it ?" Asked Blaze.
"I am not lying, in fact Father wishes for Sol Empire to become part of Eggman Empire." Continued Sage.
"Is that his goal then ? Classic conquering other kingdoms ?" Blaze looked at Eggman. "Even without bloodshed i refuse to go along with it !"
"Trust me Blaze, when Eggman Empire is established it will be a grand utopia." Boasted Eggman.
"Don't listen to him Blaze ! We've seen what his empire looks like, it's an endless war zone, Eggman can't practice what he promise !" Said Sonic.
"It's all because you and your annoying friends won't stop resisting my rule ! That's the real problem here !" Eggman blaming Sonic as always.
"Eggman, I just have to a-ask, should Sol Dimension fall to your hands ? Will it stop a-there ? Or will you continue to expand ?" Asked Mario.
This question caught Eggman off guard as the heroes and even Sage and Metal Sonic looked at him curiously.
"Yeah, Andross also have the ambition to rule the world, but with things like this there's no doubt he will stop at just Lylat System." Said Fox.
"Papa still have the loyalty from other planet's he conquered, there's no way they all will turn on him easily !" Jr reference the part when Mario have to travel across galaxies to stop Bowser.
"So far I haven't heard anything from the angels of Paradiso, but there's a chance they're trying to bring back Jubileus, I need to check the sun after this." Said Bayonetta.
"See Eggman, you're not the only one with this kind of goal, you sure you won't clash with your colleagues later ?" Asked Sonic.
"Could this be why you're looking for the Sol Emeralds ? To gain leverage ? Why aren't you using Chaos Emeralds for that instead of going after my world ?" Asked Blaze angrily.
"Because I was forced to hold lectures like some college professor to tell my colleagues about Chaos Emeralds ! Now they all want it to fulfill their ambitions." Retorted Eggman.
"Hahaha sucks to be you Eggman." Sonic enjoying Eggman's misfortune.
"It's not all bad, father receives many help from his colleagues as well, such as these robot masters, but you managed to beat them." Sage looked at the beaten, frozen robots.
"Can't say the same about Andrew." Snarked Metal Sonic as it only infuriates Andrew.
"Luckily the help is mutual, but I still like to stand above the rest." Replied Eggman.
"I'm sure Andross is thinking the same thing." Remarked Fox.
"Anyway Eggman, as much as we are enemies, I need to warn you something, Neo Subspace Army has it's own agenda, they're trying to free an ancient malevolent being, and once that being is freed the universe will be doomed." Explained Sonic.
"Yeah ! That's why dad and I are siding with Mario ! And Neo Subspace Army themselves stole our home and brainwashed our minions !" Exclaimed Jr.
"Hmph ! You think I will fall for that ? This is just one of your tricks to crush my plans ! Well guess what I don't believe you !" Huffed Eggman.
"Fine don't believe me, but I would start looking into Hades if I were you." Said Sonic.
"Father, I have to agree with Sonic on this one, even you admit you don't trust your colleagues." Said Sage.
"Allow me to investigate our colleagues, if Bowser and his son teaming up with Mario, this can't be overlooked." Said Metal Sonic.
"Hmph ! Sage, Metal Sonic, we're leaving ! Clearly we're not getting what we're after here." Eggman pull out his black plate and teleports himself, Sage, Metal Sonic, Andrew, and all of the robots masters out of Blaze's castle
"So, that's it ? He's just giving up ?" Asked Fox.
"Hopefully, but this is Eggman, he'll never let's defeat or setbacks curb his ambitions, you had no idea how many times he's the mastermind of troubles plaguing my world, I suggest we stay here for a while." Suggested Sonic. "Oh yeah, you guys I want you to meet Blaze, she's the princess of Sol Empire, Blaze I want you to meet my friends who came from different worlds." Sonic introduced Blaze to the heroes and vice versa.
"It's good to make your acquaintance, any friends of Sonic is welcome in the empire." Blaze offering a hospitality.
"Thank you your a-highness." Mario bowed before Blaze.
"There's no need for formality, while I do like to offer all of you a warm welcome, that attack did a number at my castle and my guards." Blaze sighing at the damages done by Eggman.
"Let a-us help you with that, we can get your guards back in perfect shape." Offered Mario.
"Oh no, you're guests, I can't just.."
"Ease up Blaze, they want to help, so just let them." Sonic encouraged Blaze to accept the heroes help.
"Alright, I'll be sure to repay your kindness later, for now let's get the castle guards." Blaze and the heroes looking for the castle guards and gather them in the infirmary.
Infirmary
"Okay so, that's all of them." Mario wiped the sweat from his forehead as helped carry the castle guards to the infirmary.
"Forgive us princess, the enemy was too strong for us to defeat." Said one of the guards as he lie in bed.
"It's alright, focus on your recovery first." Blaze being understanding towards her guards.
"Now I have all the green lollipop, eat this and your injuries will be healed." Bayonetta hand over the green lollipops to the injured guards.
Mario, Jr, and Fox use the Cure Materia and casting Curaga at the guards, instantly healing them.
"Their injuries all healed instantly !" Blaze marvels at her guards recovery.
"Wow ! I'm feeling better already !" The guards claims in excitement.
"Everyone please take a break for now, all of you may be healed in a rapid pace, but I need you all not to push yourself, that's an order." Ordered Blaze.
Her guards obeyed as they all lie in bed.
"Glad the problem here sorted out, but we need to have a talk about this incident, any place to speak in private ?" Asked Sonic.
"Let's head to the conference room." Blaze led the heroes to the castle conference room.
Conference Room
The heroes entered a room with a round table and all of them take a seat.
"So, let's begin, but first." Sonic put his golden plate at the table and contacting someone.
Soon a hologram of Mega Man emerged from the golden plate.
"Hey Sonic, is everything okay in there ?" Asked Mega Man.
"We're fine, anyway Mega Man this is my friend Blaze." Sonic introduce Blaze to Mega Man and Blaze greets him back.
"Okay so Mega Man the reason I call you here is because it seems Eggman is teaming up with Dr. Wily, Eggman said it himself." Said Sonic.
"Really ? So you've dealt with Wily's robot masters there ?" Asked Mega Man.
"Yeah, I'm fighting a robot named Quick Man." Said Sonic. "I think he was there when we brawl at that warehouse in China."
"The others are Bubble Man, Flash Man, Heat Man, Wood Man, Metal Man, and Crash Man." Blaze explain the rest.
"Eggman came here looking for the Sol Emeralds, but the way he talk earlier it sounds like he want all of it to himself, so why would he team up with someone else ?" Questioned Sonic.
"Yeah I found that weird too, there's no way Wily will lend his help for free, what is Wily's goal in helping Eggman ?" Mega Man begin to wonder. "Maybe he wants the Sol Emeralds too ?"
"So the Sol Emeralds ? They're like the Chaos Emeralds ?" Asked Bayonetta.
"Since you're Sonic's friends at least I can trust you all." Blaze put a Sol Emerald on the table. "This is a Sol Emerald."
"It's not diamond shaped like the Chaos Emeralds." Remarked Bowser Jr.
"No, the shaped is more rectangular, but regardless of how it looks, it still possess the same amount of power like Chaos Emeralds." Explained Blaze.
"And like the Chaos Emerald, there's 7 sets of Sol Emeralds ?" Asked Fox.
"Correct, however unlike Sonic's world, the Sol Emeralds must not leave this dimension, without it the Sol Dimension will be heading to a collision course towards Sonic's world." Explained Blaze.
"The reason for that is because there's a resonance between the Sol and Chaos Emerald." Said Sonic. "That's what drive this dimension to my world."
"But right now the Chaos Emeralds are well spread out at the universe, well there's 3 on our side, but one of them is broken, three on the enemy side, and one is devoured by the Plasm Wraith." Explained Jr.
"You had no idea the nonstop fighting we had just to get three of the seven emeralds." Snarked Sonic.
"To make it clear, it's not just Eggman and Wily, those two are just a part of bigger alliances of villains throughout the universe, they call themselves Neo Subspace Army." Clarified Mega Man.
"Neo Subspace Army, so that's what they're called, and what is their goal ?" Asked Blaze.
"Their true goal is to awaken an ancient being called Galeem, and Galeem wished to destroy the universe." Answered Sonic. "And as you heard earlier Eggman didn't believe me."
"That's because Neo Subspace Army promise them a second chance to fulfill their ambitions, and we're getting in the way of a-that." Said Mario.
"Okay, so I heard everything you need to tell me, but I can't hand over all the Sol Emeralds, just because the Chaos Emeralds not on Sonic's world at the moment that does not guarantee this dimension will not be on collision course with the Sol Emeralds are gone." Said Blaze.
The heroes sounds disappointed but understand Blaze's reason.
"However I am willing to lend six of them." Continued Blaze.
"For real !?" Asked Fox.
"Yes, I believe the Sol Emeralds will be save on your hands." Replied Blaze.
"Thanks Blaze, I promise we will return the emeralds to you once we're done." Assured Sonic as the others nodded.
"You sure we can't keep one ?" Asked Jr.
"No." The heroes answered in unison.
"I keep the emeralds hidden in the castle, I'll go get it for you." Blaze used her power to summon the Sol Emeralds to her location.
Somewhere far from the castle
Just like Sonic guessed Eggman doesn't leave the empire, he instead teleport himself to a place away from the castle.
"Eggman, please tell me you have another plan ? I can't return empty handed." Begged Andrew.
Eggman pull out his emerald detector. "Let's see here, here, here...nope nothing, I guess what we're looking for isn't here after all, and don't worry about your uncle, I'll smooth things over with him, now bye bye Andrew." Eggman about to teleports Andrew back to his base.
"What ! Wait were not done yet !" Andrew is finally teleported back to Andross.
"Okay, now this should be a perfect spot, far from the castle, and no one knows what we do until it's too late." Continued Eggman.
"Father ? Do you think what Sonic said is true ?" Asked Sage.
"Of course not ! He's just saying that to discourage me from my ambitions !" Exclaimed Eggman.
"If I may." Metal Sonic raised his hand. "I could try to investigate the others, to confirm what Sonic said."
"Even you said it yourself father, how you doesn't trust your colleagues even with them willing to lend you their resources." Said Sage.
"Ngggrhh...I hate to admit it, but my colleagues are a lot more untrustworthy compared to Sonic, fine Metal Sonic, I granted your permission, see what you can find out from them." Eggman had no choice but to approve of Metal Sonic's suggestion.
"We have the Scepter, and it's much more powerful than the Chaos and Sol Emeralds combine, why is the Sol Emeralds are still necessary ?" Asked Sage.
"Because I don't want those Emeralds to fall to Sonic's hands, and I don't want my 'colleagues' to get their hands on it either !" Answered Eggman. "And now's the time to enact our next plan."
Sage teleports the Jeweled Scepter from the Cyberspace and gave it to Eggman.
Eggman lift the Scepter upwards and the Scepter begins to glow.
Conference Room
The Sol Emeralds fly and gather at the conference room, bringing the six Sol Emeralds to the heroes. "This should give you all an advantage against whatever enemies you're facing."
"Thanks Blaze, we promise not to let it fall to the enemies hands." Vowed Sonic.
As the heroes about to take the emeralds, the Sol Emeralds float in midair, including the ones Blaze is holding.
"Uhh is it suppose to do a-that ?" Asked Mario.
"No ! It isn't ! I don't know what happened, but we must grabbed it !" Blaze fly and take the purple emerald.
Bayonetta used Wicked Weaves to grab the emeralds, but because of their unpredictable flying pattern unfortunately she only got one, the red emerald.
Mario used a Cape Feather to turn into Cape Mario and fly.
Jr. Used the magic paintbrush to create floating roadblocks, but the Sol Emeralds keep flying past them, Jr. Made another roadblock to halt the green Sol Emerald, however as Mario is chasing the green emerald, he crashed into one of the roadblocks made by Jr.
"Bayonetta ! Let me use your Wicked Weaves as platforms !" Asked Sonic.
Bayonetta agreed as she summons Madama Butterfly's hands, Sonic jumped and hopped from one hand to another, as Sonic jumped to another hand, the previous one disappeared and reappear in front of Sonic, Sonic encounter many failures as the emeralds able to elude him.
Blaze used her powers to control the Sol Emeralds movements, and Sonic was able to get the purple emerald.
Unfortunately for Blaze, her control over the emeralds are broken and the Sol Emeralds movements became more erratic as all five of them fly in five separate directions and vanished before they touch the wall.
"Where are those Emeralds go !?" Asked Jr. as he saw all the emeralds disappear.
"I got a strong feeling Eggman is behind this !" Exclaimed Sonic.
Outside the Palace
Eggman, along with Metal Sonic and Sage witness the Sol Emeralds flying far away.
"Excellent, now they will stop at a place that only I know of." Gloated Eggman.
"Is this wise ? For our sake blindsiding our colleagues better be worth it." Snarked Metal Sonic.
"And I only saw 5 of those Emeralds flying away, it seems we're unable to get the last two." Said Sage
"Sonic must've got hold of one, and Blaze must've managed to got hold one as well, but never mind that for now, with the Jeweled Scepter and 5 Sol Emeralds already in my hand I have much more leverage on my side." Bragged Eggman.
"Our advantage may increased much, but it appears it still can be challenged by others, such as Shadow Queen for example." Warned Sage.
"Yes, the Crystal Stars said to hold the essence of heavens itself, however there's no need for us to dirty our hands getting it, while we can have Sonic and his friends as our pawns to do the work for us." Smiled Eggman.
"Sonic will only gets stronger should he fights so many different enemies." Warned Metal Sonic.
"Alright then, Metal Sonic during your time to spy on our colleagues I will give you freedom, gain experience, copy as many powers as you can, we will need your power for when the time comes for you to confront Sonic." Eggman ordered Metal Sonic to learn from his allies to gain more power to make it difficult for Sonic to fight back.
"Now then Sage, Metal Sonic, we're going back home for now." Sage teleports the Jeweled Scepter back to Cyberspace as she, Metal Sonic, and Eggman teleports back to their base.
Eggman's Base
"Alright everyone mission accomplished, it's break time." Said Eggman.
"Big bro ! You're back ! Come on tell us everything about your mission." Cubot pestering Metal Sonic as the robot groaned and went to his chamber with Cubot following him.
"Welcome back boss and sis." Orbot greeted Eggman and Sage.
"It's good to be back, well then father I'll be retiring at Cyberspace." Sage teleports back to the Cyberspace.
Eggman return to his desk and turn on his computer, he saw a notification of Dr. Wily wanting to do a video call.
Eggman click on it and begin chatting with Dr. Wily.
"Eggman ! It's about time you respond to my call !" Yelled Wily.
"Something you need from me Wily ?" Asked Eggman.
"Yes ! When you sent my robots back, many of them were frozen and Quick Man suffered the most damages, so me lending my help to you better be worth it !" Yelled Wily.
"Umm yeah, about that Wily, turns out there's nothing there." Eggman lied to Wily.
"What ! Are you saying I help you for nothing !" Continued Wily.
"I thought that dimension have ultimate power, it appears I've been proven wrong, I am sorry about this." Eggman faking an apology.
"How could you make a mistake like that ! You said you're the smartest person in your world ! Clearly I was wrong to trust you ! "Wily in anger ended communications.
"For your sake boss, i hope Dr. Wily doesn't go looking for a powerful object that only he knows." Snarked Orbot.
"Hmm...he did say something about Evil Energy before." Eggman stroking his beard. "I think i'm doing a research on that."
"Evil Energy ? Seeing your track record of dabbling in things beyond human control I don't think you should go for it." Warned Orbot.
"Quiet you, if Wily can harness Evil Energy for his purposes, then so can I." Eggman refused to be outdone by Wily.
Eggman receive another call and this time it's from Andross. "Yes Andross, Wily called before I don't have the powerful object, it's likely i made a mistake on my calculation."
"Really ? You're sure you're not lying ?" Andross voiced his skepticism.
"Believe me I'm just as dejected as you are, I go all that way for nothing, by the way Andrew did a splendid job earlier, maybe you should think of giving him back his high ranking position again." Eggman lied to mess with Andross.
"One good job doesn't prove anything, the fact that I trust the brainwashed Panther and Leon more really prove how much a screw up my nephew is, whatever i don't have time to talk too long, Andross out." Andross ended communication.
Eggman smiled gleefully on how he's able to blindside Andross and Wily.
Sol Empire Castle - Conference Room
"Sorry Blaze we only managed to get two." Sonic apologized to Blaze as he give the purple emerald to Blaze.
"Well there's no helping it, as a guardian I'm able to summon the emeralds back to me." Blaze tried to summon the Sol Emeralds back to her, however nothing happened, well only the red and purple ones, the ones the heroes managed to caught fly to her side.
And after a while there are no response from the other emeralds.
"Doesn't look like the rest is coming back." Commented Jr.
"No good, wherever the emeralds gone to, it's too far not even I can reach it." Blaze sit down and feeling despondent.
"Don't worry Blaze, we'll make sure to find the rest of it." Sonic promised Blaze.
"Thank you, unfortunately with just one emerald in my hand I can't leave my dimension, so can I please entrust you all with finding the rest of the Sol Emeralds ?" Asked Blaze as she give Sonic the red emerald.
"Of course, we'll make sure such objects won't fall to the wrong hands." Assured Fox.
"Hey why don't we wished for the Beanstar to expose their location, before Eggman somehow able to mask their presence." Suggested Jr.
"That's right ! We can do just a-that !" Mario agrees with Jr's idea.
"Well that's that then, sorry Blaze, I'd love to stay longer but we need to hurry back." Said Sonic.
"It's okay, do what you need to do." Nodded Blaze.
And with the heroes got a Sol Emerald, they teleports back to the mansion.
A bit short, but that's all I can come up with this chapter.
In this fic, Wily fixed his robot masters so that they're immune to Flash Man Time Stopper, and Wily fixed Bubble Man's glitch so he can walk normally on land now.
If you wonder how Bayonetta can move under Time Stopper effect, in Bayonetta 2 she's fighting Balder who also have time control technique called Light Speed, and you need to toggle the analog stick to break free, let's just say Bayonetta have ways to resist time control techniques.
In the comics Blaze have the ability to summon the Sol Emeralds to her side, I don't know if she can do this in the games though, but here she can just summon the Sol Emeralds to her side.
In the olympic games, so far the only villains Eggman get along with is Bowser, also Metal Sonic with Jr.
