147. Elsewhere and Elsewhen

One day, Luz and Amity were in in the same giant solemn hall with the same pristine altar from the titan's vision with the same 11 inert energems gathered in a circle from before as the former looked around like a sort of detective, both unaware that the Collector was trying to get Luz and Amity's attention.

"Uh, Luz? What exactly are we looking for here?", Amity asked.

"Uh, hello? I have a game I wanna tell you guys about!", the Collector shouted, waving his arms.

"Anything that might give us a clue about what those gems really do. The last time we were there, they all suddenly just started up around me. But so far, nothing's happening. If I could just find something here, maybe even a hint, then I might be able to tell my parents about this.", Luz said.

But the Collector quickly grew infuriated and shouted, waving his arms.

"WILL YOU TWO JUST SHUT UP AND PAY ATTENTION TO ME!", the Collector shouted.

This made Luz and Amity gasp as they realized what they were doing and forgetting all about him as he panted.

"Uh-oh. Whoops. Sorry for bringing our problems here, Collector.", Luz apologized sheepishly.

"Guess we kinda forgot.", Amity added just as sheepishly.

"So, what game do you want to play with us?", Luz asked.

"Well, there's pretend.", the Collector responded.

"Pretend?", Luz and Amity asked.

"Yeah. I have the scenario all figured out.", the Collector began.

But before he could start explaining, he got cut off by a loud, familiar sound.

"Hoot, hoot, hoo-hoot!", Hooty's voice suddenly crowed, making Luz exclaim before she disappeared when a blue mist washed over her like before.

"Aw, man! Not again...!", the Collector groaned.

"Luz must've been woken up.", Amity said in worry before a beastly shadow crept up on her and the Collector, prompting both to turn around to see a beastly, skinny monster the size of a titan; it had a skeletal-like appearance, but with dark fur, a long bushy tail, claws that can rend through a thousand mountains if so desired, a similar fanged-skull as King's but more vicious, and blank orange eyes as it roared.

"Okay, time to go!", the Collector shouted before he left in a comical, cartoonish way while Amity yelled in shock before she, too, disappeared in a blue mist.

In the real world.

Luz woke up with a gasp before noticing stringbean on her shoulder, looking quite puzzled.

"Hiss?", stringbean puzzled, tilting her head to the right.

"Ah, shmirtz! I was so close...!", Luz groaned before she suddenly heard a clinking sound from below.

"Oh, yeah. Isn't there supposed to be a party going on at the owl house?", kim remembered.

At the owl house.

, Hooty was throwing a party.

"It is so nice to be surrounded by all of Lulu's dearest friends!", Hooty grinned before it showed the attendees of the party, which included an unknown woman, Apollo,Chris,amity,emira,edric,Lincoln,Lucy,maria,alador, Morton, Lilith, Steve (in casual-ish attire), Eda,rj,deon,Belos,vee,ash,King, and Tinella Nosa.

"Yeah! All hail Lulu!", Steve praised.

"We're here to celebrate the new general of the emperors coven. Here's to you, Lilith!", rj said as she lifted up his wine cup.

"Cheers!", everyone said to Lilith, who accepted everyone's toast with an awkward smile on her face.

Then, Luz came down to the living room wearing a party hat and noticed everyone around chatting before approaching Hooty.

"Hooty!Papa!Vee!kim! Did I miss the toast?", Luz asked.

"Just about.", maria responded.

"Darn...", Luz groaned.

"Well, I made Golden Donuts'.",ash said as she showed her a plate with some Golden Donuts.

"You want a bite?", ash asked.

"Sure, but where's Lilith? We want to congratulate her.", Luz asked as she lifted up her hat to show eevee hidden in it.

"Evee.", Cotton squeaked happily.

Suddenly, a whip appeared, grabbed one of ash's Golden Donuts, and brought it outside. The unknown woman caught the falling Golden Donut with her hand.

"Oh, I wish I could stay longer, but I must be off on my next adventure.", the woman said, taking a bite of a Golden Donut.

Luz and her siblings, along with a the other clawthorn family, peeked outside the door and saw Lilith approaching the unknown woman.

"It's such a delight to see my little bookworm back in the historical world after all these years.", the woman grinned.

"Uh, thank you, Flora, but it's just a small job. Only an assistant. I'm surprised you even heard about this.", Lillith said.

"The coven. Want me to clear out your old office. I left a box of your knick-knacks inside your new office.", Flora explained. "Wish you took more from my tutelage, dear. History's supposed to be exciting after all!"

Flora used her whip to catch a flying griffin and dragged it down to the ground. She then jumped onto the Griffin's back and whipped it, flying away with it.

"Okay, I don't know who she thinks she is, but she has zero respect for wildlife.", vee said.

"Who was that?", Luz asked.

"Flora D'splora. Bad-girl historian, celebrity, and my former mentor in the Emperor's Coven.", Lilith explained.

"I have questions about that name.", Lincoln responded.

"And I have questions about MY LIFE! All I ever got to do was desk work, while she goofed off riding wild snake horses and-", Lilith began before Luz gasped, her eyes lighting up.

"Snorses!", Luz beamed.

"I think you're too excited about this.", kim commented.

"-And, and eating mummy jerky! Well, I can be just as exciting as Flora. I'll show her it will knock the Titan's socks off!", Lilith vowed, storming into the house.

"Mrew?", Cotton puzzled before Luz shouted after her.

"Congratulations on your new job!", Luz congratulated.

I've gathered the items I need the so my friend can find the an ancient item in an Egyptian temple. All that's left is to seek out The overlord, and he will tell me what I need to complete my mission. But first, my companions and I must face-", it showed a sort of town and then Philips drawing on his journal as time passes before it then showed a sort of mask with horns, the playback then got cut off before he could finish, astonishing Luz, who widened her eyes.

they were all sitting on the couch staring at the ceiling, where the playback was just shown as the echo mouse went to sleep.

"The Collector. I've never heard that name.", King said.

"Me neither. What kind of jerk puts 'The' in front of their name anyway?", Eda added as she was picking up trash and putting them into a trash bag.

"But that name, though... It's been so many years since I last heard of it.", Belos admitted.

"I don't remember hearing about someone named 'the Collector', either."Camila lied.

"Actually, Amity and I may have heard of him. Recently.", Luz responded.

"Wait, what?", Kim asked in surprise.

"How do you know about the Collector?", Camila asked, almost horrified.

"That is an excellent question.", Belos added.

"Well, the thing is, Amity and I kept having dreams about him ever since we went to the ruins of King's castle.", Luz explained.

"Oh! Funny how dreams just start recurring every night, right? Life sure is full of surprises!", Camila laughed nervously.

"Yeah... Anyway, I don't know, but... maybe the Collector may know how to make a multiversal map to the infinity stones, Mama. Luz responded.

"And if I recall correctly, rook and the plumber stayed behind to safeguard it from the orcs that may reside here. Who knows what they might be capable of now?", Belos added.

"Yeah. I just wish I could go back in time and talk to them more.", Luz said dejectedly before a sudden realization hit Luz.

"Eda! Is time magic a thing?", Luz asked.

"Not really, but...", Eda began before she took off a book from the shelf titled "History's Top 10 Plot Holes".

"Back in the day, I was a bit of an urban-legend junkie. Twig Foot, Lenderman, possums...", Eda said as she opened the book and turned the pages.

"Yeah. In our realm.", Emily said.

"Yeah sure, kid.", Eda snorted, only frustrating Emily as she groaned.

"Anyway, there are stories about these things called Time pools. Mythical puddles that act as windows into the past, but they're never in the same spot twice. Me and Lily used to search for them. She'd say I forced her into it, but I think she had more fun than me.", Eda explained.

"Lilith! Of course! Thanks, Eda!", Luz said, snatching the book off Eda's hands, before running off to find Lilith.

"Hey, Luz! Wait up!", Lincoln shouted as he ran after her.

At the kitchen, Lilith was busy making model balusters.

"Lilith!", Luz shouted as she suddenly emerged from behind Lilith, calling out her name, which startled her.

Lilith,luz,Apollo,Lincoln and Lucy went outside to see wait Chris made.

Luz grinned.

"It's the time and yes.we and my friends are lost," she said.

"Incredible. This will be a truly unprecedented exploration. Now, before we dive in, we must remember, if the tide comes in, we could be trapped, paradoxes will be a dange, and don't get me started on the bloody fly effect," Lilith listed.

Lilith shook her head and cleared her throat.

"But a bad-girl historian like myself is all about taking risks, so let's boogie down to History town," she said, making finger guns.

Lucy facepalmed while Luz and Lincoln had an amazed look on their faces.

"She really is Cool Aunt Lilith," luz said.

Back at the owl house.

A knock was heard from the door and Eda walked over to open it, revealing Gwendolyn.

"Hello, witchlet," Gwen said.

Eda stepped aside to let her in.

"Hey, Ma. Why are you still in town? Forget something from yesterday?" Eda asked.

"Your father wanted to swing by," Gwendolyn answered.

Eda blinked in surprise before folding her arms.

"Well, tell him I'm busy," she said.

Gwen gave a small smile.

"Maybe you could tell him yourself. He's just outside," she said.

Eda tensed up as King,deon,Apollo,Chris and Maria ran to join them.

"We get to meet my grandpa?" King asked.

Gwen turned to her youngest grandson with a smile.

"Yes. You know the Clawthorne clan was once known for their Palisman-making skills? And Dell? Whoo, he was the best of them all. Kendrick really took after him when he first carved his palisman," Gwen said.

The sound of footsteps were heard and Eda gulped when she saw a familiar shadow at the door.

They grabbed some disguises and put them on so they wouldn't stand out.

Lincoln up and ran to join Luz,Lucy and Lilith by the entrance of the town.

"Now, Luz,Lincoln,Lucy we are technically in another realm in another time,we don't These denizens may be dangerous," Lilith warned.

Luz,Lucy,and Lincoln nodded and the trio walked inside. As they walked, a man bumped into Luz, making her jump and put her hands up, ready to fight.

"Pardon me,kind citizen," the man said, tipping his hat and walking away.

The four looked at one another before continuing walking. All around the town, they saw other witches either chatting with one another, some with elemental powers helping each other and there were little kids playing with each other.

"This place doesn't look dangerous. This looks awesome!" Luz exclaimed.

Lincoln nodded.

Lincoln,Lucy and Luz had left to ask a few people if they had seen an Egyptian pyramid. They walked to a some who was feeding the birds.

"Excuse me, have you heard about an oni mask? It's red. It's probably awesome," Luz said.

The man shook his head. From there, the three kids went around the town asking every witch they saw if they've seen a an Egyptian temple but was left with nothing.

"Sorry we haven't seen the Egyptian temple around but we wish you luck on your search," a woman with three snake heads said.

"Thank you," Luz said.

"Get away, get away. a voice shouted.

Lincoln,Lucy and Luz followed it and saw two kaijudo creatures one was a Impalicus and the another one was a Tygrif. They were attacking ego (from guardians of the galaxy vol 2).

"Get back!" he said.

He Leaped and was about to them the before he could.the tygrif blasted him with the cannon on his back knocking him to ground.

Then the Impalicus was about to impale him in through the head.

The man gasped. A strong gust of wind knocked Impalicus to the ground. The creatures turned to see luz standing in front of the man.

"How about you pick on someone your own size?" Luz asked.

Yeah Lincoln said.

The man was picking up a piece that had fallen on the ground. Lincoln bent down to pick one of them up but stopped when he saw a picture of temple.

He then noticed a pciture of a large plant.

"What's that?" Lincoln mumbled.

The paper was snatched from his hand as J'Son stuffed it into his satchel.

"That's private," he said.

Lincoln and luz blinked as lucy and Lilith walked towards them.

"You're J'Son aren't you? The Celestial?" Luz asked.

Lucy looked at him with a blank look.

He turning to walk away.

"Wait! My cousins and I have heard of your exploits, and we know what it's like to be far from home. Could we talk?" Luz asked.

He looked at the three children.

"No," he said.

He walked away.

"Wait! We can give you snails. We can make you crutches? Uh, um….We can help you find the Egyptian temple!" Lincoln said.

J'Son stopped walking looking over his shoulder at them. "Lincoln!" Lucy whispered to him. "We don't even know where he is!"

"Sorry That was all I could think of!" Lincoln whispered back quickly.

"Witchlet?" Gwen knocked on the door. "Aren't you going to say hello to your father? It's been-"

"Years!" Eda interrupted from inside her room. She was currently packing things up in a frantic manner as she was planning to escape. "It's been years, I know. I'm, uh, just sharpening my tooth," She put some elixirs in a bag. "Don't want Pops to see me looking blech, ya feel?"

"What's with you?" King watched his adoptive mother while sitting on her nest. She rushed over to the other side of the room. "Why are you so terrified of seeing your dad?"

"It's not like I'm scared of him," She defended while looking at herself in the mirror. "I just...haven't seen him since I ruined his—I mean, since the Owl Beast ruined his-" She sighed in dismay, trying really hard not to think of the last time she saw her father. Ever since then, she had avoided him entirely. "I'm just not ready, okay? Now move it. I gotta scram."

He glanced at her in annoyance as she tried to jump out the window, but Hawksley blocked the way. She yelped and pulled the curtain closed. She went to her other window, but then Hooty popped up. "Hiya, Eda! Your Pops is such a nice guy. Hey, how'd he get that scar on his-" Eda slammed the window shut before he could finish answering the question.

King laughed and she looked to the side, looking panicked. "Hey, Eda, look!" He held up Lilith's old dress and a mop that was in the same color as Lilith's hair. "Dear sister, join the Emperor's Coven and together, we can become gods!"

She smirked as she got an idea.

Back in the past

So, Luzura. You, your cousins Lincate,Harriet and your Aunt se started traveling together after the Toe-gres attacked your castle and covered it with an impenetrable mist?" J'Son questioned after they made up a story as to why they were there. They were walking in a forest while he was still limping.

"Yes," Luz smiled up at him. "And that's why we, too, seek the Egyptian temple. We need him to tell us how to clear the mists so we can return home!

They all walk to in front of the the Egyptian temple.

"I believe the door is housed in an underground chamber," ego gives what he thinks is here. The Egyptian temple and the final unopened door that they must guard with their lives.

"So we don't know is that i can phase Down there," Luz said.

Luz who was being fitted up with a breathing mask that she summoned with gauntlet. because the plan always was to have her phase her way down into the temple. The assumption is that there must be a way to connect the surface to underground. Easier to find it from the inside than from out. Only problem now what if she gets into trouble.

Lilith finishes fitting the mask and turns on the small torch strapped to the right side of her head. "We'll be in contact through our gauntlets," she informs her.

"I'll let you know what I find," luz says back, trying to remain cheerful and optimistic. She begins to vibrate and phases, allowing gravity to do the work as she slowly sinks into the earth.

she goes through the Earth...and just as she is starting to panic there is nothing here she passes through a ceiling and the light on her torch picks up walls decorated with hieroglyphs. She pauses, She lowers a bit and gets startled by a giant jackal-headed statue whose face she is eye to eye with.

She spins round and gets spooked by a giant bust of an oni. She loses concentration,she starts to vibrate her body and starts to phase again and she drops to the floor like a stone, landing on her back.

"Ok, ow," she whines softly. "So glad no-one was around to see that." Because that would have just been totally embarrassing.

Luz gets to her feet and rubs her sore butt. She looks up at the bust that spooked her and tries not to panic at being trapped in the mega spooky temple but when she reports back up over her communicator her voice is shaking slightly and is nervously high-pitched. "I landed in front of a stone stairway in some sort of chamber. It looks huge," she reports what is in front of her right now.

"Luz," Lincoln's calm voice breaks in as he tries to imagine what she is describing and how it can help them. "Do you see any sort of lever at the top of those stairs?" he asks her to check.

"Hold on. I'll look," she says as he walks up them. She reaches a dead-end. A wall covered in marking and images. "I think I found it," she says. "Like a stone knob," she describes the circular stone in the centre.

"Push it in and then get out of the way," Lincoln instructs her.

It takes some effort to move it but luz pushes it in. The whole chamber shakes as the wall slides apart and opens up.

Up above, the ground too shakes, violently...as the earth splits apart. Lincoln,Lucy,Lincoln and j'son all float above the ground on instinct. Two enormous doors slide apart to reveal stones which are rearranging themselves to form a stairway down into the Earth between the front temple.

Down below Kitty watches the stones slide back to form the stairway. As moonlight floods in Kitty notices that it illuminates lots of tiny glowing crystals in the wall that glow with a faint blue light. Makes it look like the wall is covered with twinkling stars.

Superman looks down the stairwell, slightly incredulously, shaking his head with concern. Why couldn't he see that?

they all make their way down inside the temple.

"Luz. Light the way please and then we'll find that door," Lilith said.

"No problem," Lincoln says as take out lights glyphs that lights up the chamber they are in, revealing it lined with giant statues and another small set of stairs at the far end leading into a hallway leading to who knows where. There's another set of steps heading downward off to the right.

"I'm not ashamed to admit it but I am creeped out," Lincoln says as he walks past luz holding the breathing mask in her hand.

"You!" Luz whispers harshly. "I was down here alone," she reminds him. He's creeped out?! Give her a break and imagine how she felt down here in the dark alone.

They all start to walk forward and fan out looking for anything that might lead them to the door they seek.

I suppose that must be why no one wanted to accompany me. But every legend told me that The Collector lies there," Philip said as they stopped in front of a door.

Kai looked at the door.

"I just can't figure out the mechanism to open it. If I weren't so frail," the celestial said.

He winced as he held his knee still slowly regenerating. Luz bent down beside him.

"Don't worry, we can help. Puzzles are in my blood," Luz said.

"Literally. My mom had to stop me from eating puzzles when i was 6. But yeah, you chill here and we'll figure it out," luz said.

J'son smiled.

"Thank you, Luzura. Perhaps we were destined to meet," he said.

The three cousins smiled at him before they went to join Lilith by the door. The older witch was working on the door mechanism.

"It's peculiar. This mechanism is unlike anything I've seen before. It'll make a remarkable addition to my exhibit. It's just.." Lilith trailed off.

Lincoln looked at his aunt.

"What's wrong? We're getting what we came here to find," said.

Lilith sighed.

"That's just it. Look, most of this puzzle has been solved already," she said.

Luz,Lincoln and Lucy looked at the door to see that Lilith was right. It looked like someone had already attempted to try and crack the puzzle. Lilith turned to j'son.

Luz rubbed her arm.

"Some of this does feel kind of weird. But it's the multiverse, weird is just how things work," she said.

Lincoln nudged her aunt.

"How about you and I keep working on this? Luz and Lucy will go talk to j'son," he said.

Lilith nodded and the two kids walked towards j'son who was putting . Luz looked at it over his shoulder and noticed something.

J'son frowned and stood up as Kai and Luz stepped back.

"J'son, why did you come here us here?" Luz asked.

A rumbling sound was heard as lucy and Luz turned to see that Lilith and Lincoln had opened the door.

"Ahh! We did it! We solved the puzzle!" Lilith called.

J'son gained a smug look as he closed stand up.

"I needed a sacrifice," he said.

Luz's eyes widened in terror.

"What'd he say?" Lilith asked.

Suddenly, a hand reached out and grabbed Lincoln and Lilith. The raven haired woman and the white haired screamed as they were dragged into the darkness.

"Aunt Lilith!"Lincoln Lucy and Luz shouted.

Back in the owl house

"Really, Eda?" Gwen asked in exasperation at how her daughter was acting. She knocked on the door again. "You won't be able to run away this time."

Eda, disguised as Lilith, slammed open the doors. She had the mop over her head. "Apologies, dearest mother. Dearest sister has flown the dearest coop. But worry not, for I, the perfect prissy little Lily, shall find her for you." She smiled and picked up her skirt as she left. Gwen stared after her, noticing Eda's hair coming out of the wig. She looked at the woman in disbelief as King joined her.

"Does she seriously think I'm buying that?"

"Just let her have this," King deadpanned, since Eda didn't really seem to want to see her father.

She slammed open the door to her home, throwing off her disguise. "Ha ha!" She pulled out her staff, rushing forward. "Not today, suckers!" She was about to fly off on her staff when she stopped, gasping sharply. Her father was standing in the distance, looking up at the sun.

"Am I too late again?" He glanced over his shoulder briefly. There was a yellow cardinal palisman on his shoulder. "Well, fly safe, witchlet. Perhaps I'll catch you next time."

She looked away, knowing that she couldn't run any longer or turn him away. Owlbert dropped his wings. "Hi...Dad."

Back in the past

"Well, with the beast distracted, I can finally get through those doors without wasting any power," j'son said.

Luz growled and grabbed him by the front of his jacket with, glaring at the celestial.

"You tricked us!" She growled.

J'son chuckled.

"It was…" he started to say before getting cut off.

Lucy used her shadow's to in pale him in the chest and left leg.

"It was inevitable". You four were easier to trick than Blue Fang. Hopefully, you two and "Aunt Dirtrude" can last longer," he said.

Lucy growled as she was ready to beat his ass. But before she could, Lilith's and Lincoln's screams were heard from inside.

"Lucy, we don't have time for this! Lilith needs help!" Luz said.

She ran into the room. Lucy's shadows released j'son and ran after her cousin. When the two cousins entered, they both gasped when they saw a large Chimera like centaur it has tan-furred beast capable of walking on either two or four legs. On her front is the head of a monstrous fanged goat sporting three horns on its head and a smaller one on her snout. Underneath it is the head of a lion,which faces downwards while the Chimera is on all fours and takes charge of the body when it stands up on two legs. The Chimera's tail takes the form of a large blue-green serpent, and snake-like scales run down the underside of its belly. Her hands are humanoid with long clawe holding Lilith and Lincoln in its paw.

The beast screeched at them and then came running forward. Lucy threw down an ice glyph while luz ran fast and glowed in bright flash in its eyes. It screeched in pain before slipping onto the ice, crashing onto it and dropping Lilith and Lincoln in the process. The two rushed by and grabbed them, running forward. While they were trying to fend off the thing, j'son approached a platform in the room. He got out a shovel while the beast started chasing the trio. He started digging and Lilith noticed this.

"Hey! That better be your own grave you're digging!" She called out while shaking an angry fist.

"We'll deal with him in a minute, we've got bigger problems," Lincoln told her as the beast was still attacking them. Lincoln summoned within his hands to distract the beast and they took off running again.

Something glowed from the hole and Phillip smiled, picking up a round the oni mask of vengeance. He looked at its eyes"Found you."

"Oh, I disagree," He spoke up, holding the shovel. "It was nice making a cat's-paw out of you,"Good luck with your...crab castle or...whatever. You mortals come up with the worst lies," He teleported out of there in flash, getting the beast's attention. Luz and Lucy grabbed Lilith and Lincoln sister, the four hiding behind another pillar.

I've got an idea lucy use your shadow to hold the monsters still and luz blind it and when I say go use your lightning abilities Lincoln explained his plan.

Okay luz said as she ran in front of the beast then use her flashing light ability to blind the beast again.

Lucy used her shadow to bind the creature and jumped he and morphed into water dropping on the then he said.then Lilith used her lightning powers to electrify the water killing the creature.

"Tell us how that thing's gonna help you make a map of the multiverse," Luz pointed at him angrily.

"And I wouldn't hesitate or lie if I were you, we've got a Rumbling Terrasaur on our side," Lucy jerked a thumb to him.

"I mean, if it's information you want, perhaps we can make an exchange," He offered them, putting his hands together and thinking that he'd get something out of this. "I'll probably require another sacrifice sooner or later."

However, Lilith stepped forward instead. "If you or your aunt want to-" Lilith punched him in the nose and he fell to the ground. "You hateable sorcerers!" He growled up at her, covering his nose.

"Stay mad. Come, everyone. We're finished here.", Lilith said before Luz sneered while making hand gestures at Philip as everyone else left.

"Cool aunt.", Luz said as she climbed up to Rumbling Terrasaur's back with Lilith,Lincoln and Lucy.

"You know, Luz, if some jerk like Philip can build a map of the multiverse, then I'm sure you can too. Whatever overlord is up to, we'll be ready.", Lilith assured.

"Welp, we're here.", Luz said before she and the others noticed a sort of grand castle up ahead, much to their shock and awe.

"I don't believe this! THIS is what it used to be like 1,000 years ago?! It looks so advanced!", Lilith said in surprise.

"All right. We'll leave you to your own devices for now, but we will be checking back to see if you found anything else vital to our quest.", Chris said.

"Now comes the tricky part. What should we masquerade as this time?", Lilith asked as the group walked closer to the castle when amity saw a perfect example.

"Oh! Maybe we could be disguised as one of him.", Luz suggested, pointing to a sort of big newt who wrapped up a picture with a cloth and started walking to the castle.

"A newt?", Amity puzzled.

"Why not? They do appear to be common around here.", Lilith grinned.

"All right. Newts, it is.", Luz said, tracing a spell circle with her finger before everyone "poofed" into newts with each witch's skin color the same as their favorite colors, especially Luz.

"Okay. This isn't half bad.", Amity said.

"I think you look cute like this, Amity.", Luz said to Amity, making her blush.

"Uh, thanks, Luz. You, too.", Amity grinned, making Luz beam toward her.

"Anyway, let's get going, shall we?", Amity asked.

Guys wait,Chris shows the others a female green Martian,guys I know that female white Martian that's my mom Mira Chris said shocking everyone.

"Shouldn't Amphibian royalty know never to put a toad in a headlock?", Barrel retorted before he then broke free off the newt by means of croaking with a puff, even kicking him.

"Ha-ha! Another victory for Barrel.", Barrel grinned, sliding his nail onto the walls, even passing a note to the newt.

He was very close this time Cronaxx said.

"Oh, yeah. Leif left a note for you. But it's blank, so I don't know why she even bothered.", Barrel said.

"Like to you, perhaps. Leif,Cronaxx and I came up with a way to leave secret messages for each other.", the newt explained, taking his glasses to read the letter that had some kind of Amphibian alphabet.

"Leif...? Doesn't that sound like Mom's old pet frog from when i was 8?", Luz asked.

"But that could be just a coincidence. I mean, come on. The chances of your mom old pet having anything to do with your dad are a million to...", Amity began.

"She's in the Garden with Belos and a white martin. Come on! Let's go!", the newt urged before he,Cronaxx and Barrel darted off for the garden.

"WHAAAAAAAAAAA...?!", Luz exclaimed.

"And I stand corrected.", Amity stated in disbelief.

"Come on, guys. We have to find a way in. Dad's in there and we have to find out how.", Luz urged.

While Luz,Amity,willow,Gus,Chris and Lilith followed them, the two friends then caught up and approached Belos, who is in a golden mask with two long upward-facing horns with a small, white overshirt on a black robe, Mira(along with the Collector, who is her shadow), and Leif at the Garden.

"Andrias!", Mira grinned.

"Took you long enough, I suppose.", Belos added.

"Sorry we're late to the party, Belos.", the Collector spoke.

"Hey, guys! How's it going?", Andrias greeted.

"Wait. That's the Collector...", Luz gasped in surprise.

"Wow. I wonder what's going on in here.", Amity puzzled.

But before she could get a closer look, she felt something and tripped on the ground.

"Ow.", Amity spoke, muffled by the ground.

"Oh, dear. I'm terribly sorry. Are you all right?", someone asked as she turned visible.

When Amity got back up and looked up, she saw a familiar face, as did Luz and Lilith, who both gasped seeing Apollo's mother Caiera as a teenager.

"Caiera?", Amity asked.

"Yes, that's right. But, how do you know me?", Caiera asked.

Realizing what she said out loud, Amity blanched with a gasp before giggling nervously.

"Well, uh..., we just heard about you somewhere.", Amity responded.

"Oh. I see.", young Caiera responded.

Then, he turned and saw Mira and Caleb heading for Luz, Amity,willow,gus,Chris and Lilith.

"Oh, Ms.moris.", Caiera spoke in pleasant surprise.

"What's up, Caiera?", Mira asked before turning to see Luz, Amity, and Lilith.

"Oh. Who are your friends, Caiera?", mira asked.

"I don't think we're friends quite yet. After all, we just met.", Caiera responded.

"Uh, yeah. That's right. We did.", Luz agreed.

"Funny. You three area's look very familiar.", Caiera stated.

This made them blanch in reaction.

"We do?", Lilith puzzled.

"Maybe it's just that you three remind me of some good people I knew.", Caiera responded.

"Oh. Really?", Luz asked, earning Snaga's nod.

"But we'll talk later. So, what you workin' on, Leif?", Caiera asked, this left Luz surprised as she widened her eyes and saw the pink frog up above.

"Leif?!", Luz exclaimed.

"Shh. I have just perfected a dance that mesmerizes any creature that watches. Behold.", Leif spoke before she got into position and then started doing said dance, brushing her foot against the ground, raising her hands while clenching them, getting on all fours, shaking her body, and even flopping like a fish, attracting the attention of four moss men, especially Barrel, who was apparently hypnotized while the big newt blushed and mira,Caiera,Cronaxx and the Collector giggled while Belos, through his mask, looked surprised and perplexed.

At the same time, Caiera was astonished.

"That seems peculiar.", Caiera stated.

After Leif finished the dance, Barrel stopped getting hypnotized.

"Huh. What?", Barrel puzzled before Leif hopped down to the others as Luz and the gang peeped out.

"See? Even the strangest interdimensional animals love it.", Leif grinned.

"That was weird. Anyone else just blackout?", Barrel asked.

"That dance was just beautiful, Leif.", mira grinned.

"And mysterious at the same time.", Belos added.

"Brilliant! Classic Leif.", the big newt said, raising his thumb.

It was very impressive Cronaxx said.

"Ah. Thanks, 'Drias. Say, uh, what you got there?", Leif asked, pointing to something behind his back.

"Oh, I almost forgot. Your surprise! Ta-da! An official portrait of us!", the big newt said, showing Barrel,cronaxx and Leif a portrait of the trio, not to mention Caiera and mira, much to their surprise.

"It looks just like us!", Barrel said in surprise.

"That's quite an honor.", Cronaxx stated.

"What about you, Belos?", Caiera asked.

"Prince Andrias actually wanted to include me in the portrait, but I politely declined.", Belos explained.

"Spoil sport.", Andrias teased.

"But why did you not want to be a part of the portrait, Belos?", Cronaxx asked.

"Sometimes, Cronaxx, a memory is worth a thousand pictures.", Belos responded.

"I see. Well, I understand completely, Belos.", Caiera said.

"Still, that's a huge honor! What's the occasion?", Leif asked.

"Dad's appointed me to lead the next invasions.", Andrias grinned, making Luz cringe with a gasp from hearing the word.

"SCORE!", Barrel shouted as he clapped.

"Say, what?", Leif said in surprise as she clapped as well.

"And I never would have made it this far without you guys. Thank you. I mean it.", Andrias grinned.

"Aww. Thank you, 'Drias.", Leif thanked, making Luz whimper with teary eyes, touched at the show of friendship.

"Now what are we standing around for? We gotta celebrate!", Leif grinned.

"May I suggest running through the hallway, screaming at the top of our lungs?", barrel suggested.

"Sounds good to me. Let's go!", Andrias said before he, Leif, and Barrel ran out of the garden.

Belos ,Cronaxx,Caiera and mira, however, grew hesitant before turning to one another.

"Well? Shall we?", Belos asked a bit nervously for the trio.

"Well, I suppose they are good friends.", Caiera spoke.

"Perhaps.", mira agreed before she,Caiera, and Belos cautiously followed.

"Did he say he's been appointed?", Amity asked.

"Judging by the attire, I'm assuming he must be a prince.", Lilith guessed.

"Never mind that. Dad had know Chris mom? And what are they and Apollo mom doing here?", Luz puzzled.

"All the same, maybe Andrias might be able to let us talk to Aldrich about the overlord.", Lilith said.

"Yeah, but...", Amity began before noticing Luz looking quite dumbfounded.

the four friends were running in the castle until someone cut Andrias' off just as Belos,Caiera, and Mira caught up. And whom should he see but the King of Newtopia: King Aldrich, himself, not to mention overlord as well, accompanied by Nechros, whose clothes are similar to Belos'.

"Ah. There you are, son. Come with me. We have much to discuss.", Aldrich said.

"Yes. Come, my friend. This concerns you as well.", overlord added.

"We'll catch up with you later, guys!", Barrel and Cronaxx waved as King Aldrich and overlord walked away.

"Yeah... See you guys soon...", mira sighed, following them.

"Sorry, guys. Gotta do prince stuff!", Andrias said as he ran to catch up to him.

When they passed the wall, the Collector gave a bit of a wink.

"Do be careful,Caiera.", mira said out of concern.

Later

Luz,gus,willow,Amity,Chris and Lilith were catching up when they saw Leif,Cronaxx,Barrel,mira,Caiera and Belos, prompting them to exclaim as they halted just a few inches from Belos' mask before moving back.

"Hi.", Luz greeted.

"I don't believe this...! Luzura?", Belos asked.

"How do you know us?", Luz asked.

"It's not exactly hard to see through illusions, nowadays. Actually, mira's been teaching me how to really see through them.", Belos responded.

"Whoa! You know them, Belos?!", Leif,Cronaxx and Barrel said in unison.

"I suppose you had to meet them sooner or later. Leif, Barrel, this is Luzura, her Aunt Dirtrude, and Hecamity,captain johns and thorn stinger.", Belos introduced.

"Hey.", Luz waved.

"So, you met those guys before?", Leif asked.

"No, but I heard about them appearing over 1,000 years ago, yes, if memory serves.", mira responded.

"Wait. It's been 1,000 years?!", Luz shouted in surprise.

"Yes. But during all that time, my brother taught me all sorts of their magic. Belos explained.

"Huh. Did not know that.", Luz said.

"So, do you guys know where King Aldrich is? We want to talk to him about the infinity stones.". Luz asked.

"Actually, about that, only the collector knows the infinity stones and the Collector's actually with Caiera.", Leif replied.

"Snaga? Who's that?", Amity asked

"Well, in any case, you six still have to wait. But until then, you guys are welcome to look around the castle, if you like.", Leif said.

"Thank you.", Lilith said before the group left.

"Nice seeing you again, Da- I mean, 'Belos.'", Luz grinned.

"Likewise.", Belos nodded.

As soon as they were deep in the halls with no one to spot them, the walkie-talkie, quite be coincidence, spoke up.

"Luz Do you read me?", Chris asked telepathically.

"Yeah. I read you.", Luz responded physically.

"Okay All we know is that Aldrich gets testy when asked about some things.", Luz responded.

"Almost as if he's hiding something. I think he knows about the Collector.", Amity added.

"Which is why we're going to get some answers from him.", gus added.

"By all means, but there mustn't be a panic. You need to be secretive about this. If we find anything that could threaten everyone, there's no reason for it.", willow warned.

"Noted. We'll figure this out. Somehow.", Luz assured.

Meanwhile.

4 robot soldiers were aligned together as Aldrich, overlord, Andrias, and Caiera(with the Collector in tow) went along.

"Don't you think it's time to say goodbye to those childhood friends of yours, son?", Aldrich asked.

"What? Why?", Andrias asked, puzzled.

"Because you're about to become king.", Aldrich stated.

"And it won't be long before those two start asking for favors. Using you.", bellroc added.

"No. Leif,Cronaxx and Barrel would never do that.", Snaga assured.

"She's right. Our friendship is true.", Andrias agreed.

"Friendship doesn't last, son. Now, let me show you something that does.", Aldrich responded as he, Andrias,Caiera,mira and the overlord are now underneath the castle.

King Aldrich's crown shone a red dot and opened up the door automatically as the Collector peeped from on the ground behind Caiera and mira.

"Behold. Our ultimate creation...the Core.", Aldrich introduced as it came from behind him with a metallic screech.

"It contains the combined memories of our greatest minds. Including your Ancestors.", the overlord said as the Core glanced at Andrias.

"Uh, hello.", Andrias greeted nervously.

"With the Core by your side, you will need no friends.", Aldrich stated.

"This doesn't look fun at all.", Collector said nervously.

"Why are you showing us all this?", mira asked worriedly.

"My family has ruled the Boiling Isles for millennia. You will soon rule them yourself and continue my legacy. One day,Belos' children will continue this legacy.", overlord stated before a projection opened up, showing Earth.

"And this is where your mission comes in. We'll be invading a medieval world called Earth. You must exterminate the savages so that we can mine their planet for its resources.", Aldrich requested.

"And if there are any survivors, you will be in charge of enslaving them.", the overlord added.

"What?! Wipe out a whole race?", Andrias asked in disbelief.

"And enslave what remains? Doesn't that seem a little extreme?", mira asked before the projection closed.

"Invading other worlds is expensive, and we need all the resources we can get. For our way of life to continue, this kind of work needs to be done.", Aldrich said as he took out a key.

"The key to the music box? But then I'm-", Andrias began as he received the key, much to his surprise and hers.

"Officially in charge. Now, make us proud, son.", Aldrich requested, placing his hand on his shoulder.

"Yes, of course, Father.", Andrias grinned.

But mira,Caieraonly and Cronaxx gave a worried look as did the Collector.

Later that night.

Andrias,caiera,mira, and the Collector were being introduced to Luz, Lilith,willow,gus,Chris and Amity by Leif,Barrel,Cronaxx, and Belos.

"Wow. So, those are the guys you told me about, Leif?", Andrias asked.

"Yep. I heard about them from Caleb said when Philip tried to betray them as sacrifices to a chimer .", Leif said.

"Yeah. That's true.", Luz said.

"Yikes. Have you guys been doing okay?", Past Collector asked.

"Yeah. We have.", Amity responded.

"Cool. And as long as we're doing introductions, I have one of my own.", Andrias said.

"And what would that be?", Belos asked.

"Well, you see, I got something I want to show you guys.", Andrias said before looking to Luz and the others.

"But..., I'm not sure if they should come. I mean, this is too soon.and"Well, I'm still not sure about this, but all right.", Andrias spoke.

Later,

he lead the whole gang to a secret room. He took the key out and unlocked the door, even causing pink, blue, and green lights to light up prior to the door opening.

"Ooh.", Barrel,Cronaxx and Leif said in awe.

"And this is where the magic happens. Literally.", Andrias said.

"Wow. So, that's how you guys conquer so many universes?", Luz asked.

"Well, not exactly the box itself so much as the three stones on it, but...", Andrias responded.

"So it's already official?", Barrel asked, amazed.

Yeah Cronaxx agreed.

"It's not announced yet, but yeah.", Andrias responded.

But then, Andrias saw Leif standing on top of a pedestal, carrying the music box in her hands.

"Then I bet you'd get in big trouble if anything happened to this, huh?", Leif asked before Andrias tried to get it back from her only for Leif to hop away.

"Hey, mira, catch!", Leif shouted before tossing it to mira, who caught it.

"Gotcha!", mira grinned.

"Oooh! Good catch!", Collector grinned.

"Thanks, Collector.", mira beamed.

"All right, everyone. It's all fun and games until the box breaks, so please put it back before anything happens.", Belos urged.

"Belos is right. If you're not careful, you could break it.", Caiera agreed.

"Okay, guys. Come on.", Andrias chuckled nervously before Leif passed the Calamity Box to Barrel.

"You're up, Hecamity!", Barrel shouted before tossing it to Amity.

"Got it!", Amity grinned.

"It's important.", Andrias urged before Amity tossed the box to Luz back.

"I got it! I got it!", Luz said, trying to catch it.

But just then, as she fumbled, trying to catch the box, her walkie talkie slipped from out her hand, making her exclaim.

"I got it!", Amity shouted before she managed to use her abomination magic to catch it before sliding it under the table and sighing as she retracted her abomination magic.

"That was close...", Luz said as Amity sighed.

"Okay. You know what? Maybe I feel like it is best to put it back after all.", Leif said, getting the box from Luz.

But as soon as she touched it with her fingers touching the three gems, they projected something random in front of her all while Cronaxx was caught in the glow of the stones as well before both heard an ominous language throughout the following: Amphibia ruined, the Music Box opening, the malicious mural, overlord's claws clamping onto the ground with his clawed hand seen through the smoke and ash, the Castle flying in the sky, Luz with a half-crazed look complete with white hair, crimson red eyes with yellow sclerae seen only through a hood on her head, and an innocent, yet mischievous chuckle, and the same vision with the overlord, he had horns which were glowed, puffing out with fire as he lifted up with an oni monstrous face with his eyes glowing blank purple.

"Your end has come.", the overlord spoke as next, it then showed a screaming Titan and multiple meteors shooting toward the ground and producing smoke and sparkles when it landed amidst a chaotic scene of people running around outside the head of the Titan and screaming in terror.

Then,mira and Leif gasped while the latter dropped the box and heavily breathed as Andrias ran to Leif.

"Leif! You okay?", andrias asked.

"What happened?", Barrel added.

"I- I saw something.", Leif said.

"What did you guys see?", Luz asked.

Cronaxx groaned as he held onto his head.

"Cronaxx, what did you see? Speak.", Belos urged.

"We saw... the multiverse in ruins...! And the overlord along the lines of panic, terror, chaos,darkness and carnage across the boiling isles!,also the multiverse And the collector was at the center of it all!", Cronaxx responded, making everyone else gasp.

"What...?! No...! That can't be him, Leif! I-It's gotta be someone else, right?", Caiera said, worried and in disbelief.

"Maybe... At least, I think the Collector was. But... I couldn't really tell if it even was him. He had a hood on.", Leif responded.

"Wha...?", Luz puzzled while the Collector looked a bit worried.

"Whatever the Collector's role in this vision, I think we can only pray it doesn't become a reality.", Cronaxx said.

"So, you're saying it could be someone else that looks like her?", Amity asked.

"Like an evil twin?", Barrel added.

"Maybe. I-I don't know...", Leif began before turning to Andrias.

"Andrias, if you go through with this mission, if you continue to use the box, I think Amphibia is doomed.", Leif warned before crying.

Seeing everyone distressed about it, especially the Collector, she decided to speak up.

"I know that vision is really scary and we should do something about it, but... why don't we try talking to King Aldrich about this?", Luz suggested.

"That's... actually a great plan. Hopefully, he'll be reasonable enough to help.", Lilith agreed.

"Yeah, but seeing as he's probably busy in the moment...", Snaga began before thinking of an idea with a gasp.

"Why don't we have a sleepover?!", Snaga shouted.

"A sleepover?", everyone else puzzled.

"Yeah. A sleepover. We could all hang out together and get rowdy all not. And an important thing about sleepovers? Listen up 'cause this I won't repeat...", Snaga began, making the Collector gasp excitedly.

"Never ever go to sleep.", Mira and the Collector finished together before they laughed.

"No way! How'd you know that?!", Collector beamed.

"Because, I made it up.", mira responded.

"A sleepover, huh? Sounds very interesting.", Leif said.

Yeah it does Cronaxx said

"But how does it work?", Barrel asked.

"Okay. How this works is, falling asleep early means total failure. A true sleepover goes till sunrise.", Collector explained.

"Until then, we have to try to stay awake until sunrise and have fun while doing it.", Caiera added.

"Huh. Well, we're all over it, then. Let's get our sleepover on, baby.", Luz said.

"Whoo-hoo! Let's do it!", Leif cheered as everyone else just "whoo-hoo'd"; that is, everyone except Belos and Lilith.

They ran out the door with only Luz,gus,willow,Chris and Amity stopping to turn to Belos and Lilith.

"You two coming?", Luz asked.

"No thank you, Luzura. Belos and I need to figure out how the box works.", Lilith refused.

"And while they do that, I need to understand the meaning of the vision.", Cronaxx added.

"But you two can go ahead if you wish.", Belos offered.

"Oh. Well, thanks, Belos.", Luz responded.

First, as Luz and Amity rushed downstairs, they, along with Caiera,mira,Collector, Andrias, Barrel, and Leif, sled down the stairs on a mattress.

"Cowabunga!", Collector and Caiera shouted with a giggle.

Lilith and Belos were examining the box closely; more accurately the stones on the box.

"So, you're saying that this box is somehow able to open gateways to other worlds beyond this one?", Lilith asked.

"That is correct. But as of yet, I never understood how it works.", Belos responded.

"Perhaps we could try finding out.", Lilith suggested.

"But how?", Belos asked.

"Like this.", Lilith said before picking up the box and tapping the gems.

However, nothing seemed to work.

"I said, 'like this'!", Lilith said, starting to get frustrated as it is still not working.

"There's going to be a lot of work to do with this box...", Belos sighed.

"Clearly.", Cronaxx agreed.

Meanwhile.

the gang were trying on all sorts of apparel with Luz,Amity,Caiera,willow,gus,Chris and Collector laughing as they got into large socks like sleeping bags and hopping off while a newt guard walked up to who he thought was Aldrich.

"Excuse me, sire.", the guard spoke before "Aldrich" turned to her, revealing that it was Snaga, whose mouth was puffed up.

"Yes, peon?", mira asked in an authentic voice similar to Aldrich, making the guard gasp before she laughed in her normal voice, making him grunt while his face turned red.

As for Belos and Lilith, they tried turning the key on the box, but it still did not work, much to their disappointment.

Then, at the library, Luz,willow,Chris,Amity,Caiera, Collector,Cronaxx,Andrias, Leif, and Barrel all burst in, spraying silly string everywhere.

"Hey, Caiera. Do you know what time it is?", Collector asked.

"It's pillow fight time, baby!", Caiera beamed before the gang already retreated to their room and played pillow fight with Caiera,willow,Gus,Luz, Amity,Chris and the Collector laughing, especially Andrias, Barrel, and Leif.

"Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow.", said Luz.

While Belos and Lilith tried, and failed, to activate the box (even opening to see what would happen only to see the the empty inside of the box, everyone rushed past the kitchen doors with Barrel the only one behind, albeit somewhat round and wide, as he burped.

"Whew... Excuse me.", Barrel excused.

After that, the gang took up painting mustaches on the paintings, although only Amity and Andrias avoided doing so out of fear of getting any ire, while the rest giggled at the mustaches on the paintings. Soon, as the sun was starting to rise, the gang was cooped up back in their room again.

"That was awesome.", Luz yawned.

"Best sleepover ever.", Caiera said.

"Yeah, you said it, Caiera. I just wish we can do this all the time.", Collector grinned.

"Us, too.", Amity responded before giving a frown.

"But we can't.", Amity said.

"Uh, excuse-a-what now?", Collector puzzled.

"Don't get us wrong. We really do like hanging out with you. Heck, this whole sleepover has been fun! But... we have something very important to do here. And we have reason to believe that it involves the box Aldrich uses to travel to different worlds.", Luz explained.

"You mean THE box used for past invasions?", Barrel asked.

"Uh..., yes?", Luz responded.

"Point is, if we play our mission right, every world will be safe and happy.", Amity added.

"And their ecosystem would be intact.", Leif grinned.

"Exactly.", Luz nodded.

Caiera widened her eyes, touched with awe. But the king still wasn't convinced.

"I don't know...", Collector said, unsure.

"And there'll be more people who'd want to play with you.", gus assured.

"Really? Why didn't you say so before?", Collector grinned.

"Yep. And one way or another, no matter how long it takes, we'll be back before you know it.", assured Luz.

"That sounds great! But... can you guys do a pinky swear with me?", Collector asked.

"Sure.", Luz grinned.

"We can do that.", Amity agreed.

Yeah gus said.

"In fact, we'll all do it at the same time.", willow added.

This touched the Collector, who gasped excitedly before he held out his pinky while Luz,gus,Amity,willow and Caiera held out theirs. With that, the 6 clasped their pinkies onto one another.

"No matter how long it takes...", Luz began.

"No matter how far we go...", Amity added.

"In one way or another...", Snaga added.

"We'll be friends to the end.", Collector grinned.

"Aw...", Leif beamed.

"That's... that's so touching...!", Barrel sobbed, shedding tears of joy.

"Wow...", Andrias said, amazed.

in the castle throne room in the morning, Luz and the others were going to the room of the box to find Belos and Lilith, who stayed up for hours, trying to figure the box out while Cronaxx had his eyes glowing yellow and his staff glowing as it resonated softly with the three stones in the box.

"Hey, guys.", Luz greeted.

"Were you able to figure out how the box works?", Amity asked.

"Unfortunately, no...", Belos responded tiredly, the effects of staying up all night truly taking a toll on him.

"We tried all night to figure out how it works, and we wound up with NOTHING...!", Lilith groaned before she rested her head on the podium with a moan.

"Oh. That bad, huh? It's okay.", Luz assured.

"You two may need to get some rest. I'm sure we'll figure something out soon.", Amity assured.

She's right willow said.

"But...", Belos and Lilith began before Luz interrupted with a wave of her finger.

"Ah, ah, ah. I know how important this is, but you can't get anything done if you're too tired.", gus interrupted.

"Come to think of it, Luzura friends does have a point.", Belos thought.

"All right. I suppose a little rest is in order...", Lilith yawned as she and Belos got up.

But a moment afterward, Cronaxx suddenly gasped as his eyes returned to normal and the glow on both the staff and the 4 stones faded.

"So, that's the meaning of this vision.", Cronaxx spoke.

Then, the 6 went up to the King, accompanied by Nechros.

"Hey, King Al! Can I call you King Al?", Luz asked, slightly surprising Aldrich.

"Hm?", Aldrich puzzled.

"Listen, Your Majesty, we came here from far and wide to know something very important regarding portals to other worlds. The fact is, the future may be in for a big mess...", Luz began.

But before she could elaborate on that just as Caiera,mira, the Collector, Andrias,Cronaxx,Barrel, and Leif were walking in, he saw Luz speaking with Aldrich, gasped and rushed over, stopping her from talking any further.

"Okay, there, Luzura. That's enough of that! And I think it's time to head back home now, don't you agree?", Andrias said with a nervous chuckle.

"But you heard what Leif said last night. We need to know so we can prevent that from happening.", Luz responded.

"And what do you suppose would happen, hm?", Aldrich asked.

"Gather everyone here and I'll tell you.", Leif responded.

Later,

Leif was telling King Aldrich last night's recent development as everyone was gathered, especially Belos and Mira,along with Caiera and the Collector as well.

"I think the music box was giving me a warning. As a gardener, I know the dangers of messing with a fragile ecosystem. And I believe by interfering with other dimensions, we have upset the ecosystem of the multiverse and unleashed something unpredictable and dangerous. We have to stop using the box.", Leif suggested, prompting the crowd to murmur in disbelief about the invasion.

"But how will we invade?", the villager asked.

King Aldrich seemed to be thinking this over as his crown shone an orange eye with a yellow slit before it went away, much to Luz and the others' puzzlement, if not concern.

"What was that...?", Luz puzzled.

"Nonsense! You sound like those cowardly Olms,the magical high Commission and the blue sentences. You speak of fate and warnings, but the stones are our sacred birthright. They are unique to our world and PROOF that only we are destined to conquer.", Andrias said as his eyes widened.

"But, Y-your majesty, you don't understand...!", the female demon began before Aldrich banged the bottom of the staff against the ground.

"Silence! The expedition will continue as planned with the prince presiding. This council is adjourned.", Aldrich dismissed before everyone walked away, especially Leif,Cronaxx,Barrel, Caiera,the Collector,mira,Luz,Amity,Chris,gus,willow and Lilith, although the 6 witches decided to lean against the wall and listen in as Andrias spoke with Aldrich and Nechros.

"Thank you for hearing her out, Father.", Andrias responded.

"No. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.", Aldrich said as he placed his hand on his son's face.

"Now we know the gardener is a traitor.", Melkor added, prompting Andrias to move away from Aldrich's hand.

"Wait, what?! No, father. She's not a traitor. She's just...worried.", Andrias assured.

"Are you certain? You've had that key less than a day, and suddenly your friend wants to dictate how we use the most powerful object in the world.", Aldrich retorted.

"And to make matters worse, she brought strangers into this castle.", the overlord added.

"I fear that they, too might be seeking it.", Nechros said as Luz gasped from hearing him say that to Andrias.

"I warned you about this. It won't be long before I join the Core, son. Our people will be counting on YOU.", Aldrich added before he, Nechros, and the overlord walked (or for the overlord case floated away since he was on orb)from the castle throne room just as Barrel,Cronaxx,Leif,Caiera,mira and Belos peeped out through the door.

"Well, that didn't go great.", Leif said.

"Yeah, sorry.", Andrias apologized.

"But that's okay. You're in charge. You can just decide not to use the box.", Leif said as she hopped closer to him only for Andrias to clench his fist.

She's right it won't cause any harm Cronaxx said.

"It's not that simple, Leif. Our society is built on these expeditions.", Andrias said in worry.

"I know what it's like to be under that kind of pressure. I should know. I've been under Nechros' control for 200 years before my new family set me free. After i got my memories back, I was no longer letting him walk all over me, much less sacrifice innocent witches when there were much more of them to begin with.", Belos assured.

"I know it won't be easy, but we have your back. See, together we can use your power for good-", Leif assured as Cronaxx raised his thumb.

"Look, Leif. Maybe you should focus on gardening and leave the ruling to me, OKAY?", Andrias snapped.

"Ooh.", Barrel winced.

"Ouch.", Leif spoke, looking ashamed.

Okay Cronaxx spike, looking ashamed as well.

"Sorry. That was harsh. I'm just under a lot of pressure right now, you know?", Andrias apologized.

"For sure. Now, I get it. Friends?", Leif asked before Andrias sighed.

"Friends.", Andrias said before hugging Leif.

Then, Barrel joined in with the gang happily, not knowing that Leif saw the key in Andrias' pocket. As Andrias walked out of the room, Leif secretly hid the key in her pocket before later, Luz and the others met up with Leif in the halls.

"You're going to take the box away... Aren't you...?", Luz asked.

"I don't know... But what choice do I have? I know Andrias is my friend, but... how can I save Amphibia if I don't do this?", Leif asked in worry, much to mira's worry.

Then, she took a deep breath.

"Look. Whatever you decide to do, we're there for you.", Cronaxx assured, gesturing to himself, Belos,Luz,willow,Gus,Amity,Chris and Lilith, who all nodded.

"Yeah. You name what you need us for and we'll do it.", Collector added, making Leif beam with hope.

"At this point, it's the only option we can take. It appears you weren't too off the mark. Continued use of the box could prove disastrous and turn the tides in favor of the overlord. We must not let him claim the box's power.", Caiera urged.

"Okay. Here's what I need you guys to do...", Leif began.

Later.

King Aldrich, Nechros,the overlord, Andrias, and the Newt Servants were walking down.

"Any orders for the portal operation tomorrow, your highness?", the first Newt servant spoke.

"Don't ask me. Andrias is calling the shots tomorrow. Show them the key, son.", Aldrich said.

"Hmm? Oh, yes, of course.", Andrias said, surprised.

But soon, he realized the key wasn't in his pocket.

"Ummmm... be right back.", Andrias said, nervous, before turning running around to look for the key.

Aldrich and Nechros knew something was wrong. Then, Luz,Chris,willow,gus,Amity,Lilith, Belos,Caiera,Cronaxx,and the Collector were entering the room to get the box just as Mira spoke up.

"Amity, report. Did you find out anything else?", Tibren asked.

"Yes. Apparently, the music box gave Leif a warning about using it too much. She says if we keep using it, the multiverse could be in danger, Amphibia included.", Amity said.

"Leif, we'll go get the moss man ready for you.", Luz assured before Leif nodded.

In the forests Emily was training with ash unknown to them A Spurn Detura tree began creeping up, attracting ash and Emily much to their shock.

"A Spurn Detura tree?!", Emily exclaimed.

"Nechros must've gotten his hands on one of it,But why is it coming here?", ash asked before the Spurn Detura tree roared and stomped closer to them while singing, giving off dark mists spreading toward them.

Meanwhile in the past

Andrias saw Leif and Cronaxx with the Calamity Box.

"Huh? Leif,Cronaxx what are you two doing?!", Andrias said in extreme worry.

"If you won't stop this, we will.", Leif glared, picking the box up.

"DON'T!", Andrias shouted, running toward them, only for Leif and Cronaxx to run away.

"Wait, no!", Andrias shouted, chasing after her while passing the two newts.

In the meantime, Barrel was whistling when he saw Leif and Cronaxx running.

"Huh?", Barrel puzzled before bumping into Andrias.

"Hey! What's the ruckus?!", Barrel asked.

"Leif and Cronaxx has betrayed us!", Andrias responded.

"What? They would never do that!", Barrel asked in shock.

"I saw it with my own eyes. Come on. We gotta find them before they does something crazy!", Andrias shouted.

Then, Leif and Cronaxx entered inside a lab room while Barrel and Andrias were still gaining on her.

"She's heading for the armory. I'll cut them off.", Barrel said before he entered a secret tunnel behind a picture frame and destroyed a wall with his warhammer, barring Leif's path.

"Stop right there, Leif. Don't make me do this.", Barrel warned.

"Barrel. Please trust me. What I do, I do for all of us.", Leif pleaded.

She's right Cronaxx said.

"Leif,Cronaxx I-I don't know-", Barrel puzzled in worry before Leif and Cronaxx dodged him and ran away again.

"HEY! Get back here!", Barrel shouted before getting shoved by Andrias, who then used his laser sword to attack them, but Leif used a hand gun to shoot him, urging Andrias to deflect the bullets with his sword, and disappeared suddenly, having taken a way in through the vent.

Andrias turned to Barrel, furious with this failure.

"You had a chance to stop them! What happened?", Andrias scolded.

"She confused me!", Barrel said before Andrias growled and grabbed Barrel by the head.

"Come on!", Andrias urged.

Back in the present

the tree bellowed before singing again as the weather began to get stormy outside, not to mention rainy.

Then, all of a sudden, small, dark, pitch-black fireballs started to fall down from the clouds, prompting Emily and Emily to produce barriers made of light to shield themselves from the rain. Taking advantage of the distraction, the tree then made its way for the portal.

"Oh, no you don't!", Emily shouted before then trying to stop it from going any further as her barrier extended into a sort of arm to prevent it from diving in.

But try as he might, the arm eventually broke, the darkness apparently too much for it to handle before it went through, the dark rain ceasing.

"No...!", ash said in worry.

Meanwhile in the past.

Leif entered her garden room with Mossmen inside.

"Leif! Over here!", Caiera shouted.

"The mossman's ready for you!", Luz shouted.

"Your chariot awaits!", Collector added.

"There isn't much time!", Belos added before Leif hopped over to the mossman and got on, holding the box.

Cronaxx come on Mira said.

I know there's something I've got to take care of Mira I need that subatomic bomb I need to blow up the Nth Metal and the Chronosteel,Cronaxx said.

Mira give's Cronaxx a small red and blue circle shaped bomb.

Wait that's what we came here to get Nth Metal and the Chronosteel I'll go instead and get out quickly Chris said.

Okay Mira said.

"Guys, I know there isn't much time, but still... Thank you all. For helping me.", Leif assured.

I'll get you some Nth Metal and some Chronosteel Cronaxx said.

"When all this is over, Belos and I will meet up with you again.", Caiera grinned, making Leif and Cronaxx grin with sad tears before wiping them.

"Come on, girl. Let's get out of here.", Leif said as she hopped on with Luz,Amity,willow and Gus turning to each other with nods before then making a spell circle just as Cronaxx cast his own with his staff.

He was in a factory like room on the conveyor belt there was Nth Metal and the Chronosteel being loaded and being add to make the robots.

He Took out a small container and fired a beam from his gauntlet and the capsule grow the same size as him,he used his telekinesis to put some Nth Metal and the Chronosteel in it.and he shrinks it to small size again.

He saw a furnace a throw the bomb in there he quickly turned intangible and got out of the room and then the room began to shrink and blow up the Nth Metal and the Chronosteel in small explosion no one came hear.

Meanwhile with the others

"Spicy toss!", Luz,Amity,willow and Gus shouted in unison before firing a massive fireball alongside Cronaxx's, which resulted in a massive explosion, which Andrias and Barrel overheard.

"That came from the garden.", Andrias said before he and Barrel saw a wall broken from the garden room, and a broken gate to Newtopia.

"Leif...", Andrias spoke, holding back his tears.

"Luzura, we can't thank you enough for helping her secure Amphibia's future. This disaster's bound to be avoided now.", Belos grinned.

"Hey. It was the least we could do.", Luzura assured.

"Thank you so much.", Caiera thanked.

"Well, if that's settled, we should probably get going.", Lilith suggested.

"Yeah. We don't even wanna know how mad Andrias is gonna be when he sees that.", Luz agreed with a chuckle.

"LEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIF!", Andrias shouted with an echo.

"Too late.", Luz squeaked.

"That may have to wait. I sense something dark approaching on the road up ahead.", Cronaxx spoke.

"What are you talking abo...?", Luz began.

But then, all of a sudden, before she could finish, her gauntlet blared out.

"Everyone, you have to come back, now!", Emily urged.

"What is it? What's wrong?", Amity asked.

"A Spurn Detura Tree just appeared and made its way through! Who knows what could happen to you if it finds you all here!", Emily urged just before the Spurn Detura tree appeared.

"Guys? I think it just turned up.", Luz said.

"Whatever you do, do not engage! We don't know what that thing is capable of!", ash warned.

Just then, the Spurn Detura tree turned to see Leif and the mossman escaping and went after them, worrying Caiera and Belos.

"Sorry, but I don't think we have a choice. It's going after Leif!", Luz said in worry before taking off as she took off.

"Luz, wait!", Amity shouted.

"You could get hurt!", Lilith shouted as she and Amity followed.

"They might all get hurt out there. Or worse.", Cronaxx spoke to himself in worry as he clenched onto his staff tightly.

Meanwhile.

Leif and the Mossman were escaping when they turned and saw the dark mists from the Spurn Detura Tree.

"Hey, you big old weed! Why don't you try us on for size?!", Luz goaded.

"Luzura?", Leif asked before the tree turned around and roared, giving off mists of darkness again.

This prompted Luz,willow,gus,Amity,Chris and Lilith to fire their light spells at the Spurn Detura Tree, leading to a sort of clash, prompting Luz, Amity, Lilith, and the arriving Cronaxx to push harder, Luz inadvertently turning into a horned, dark blue gray-furred demon, much to the Belos, Cronaxx,Caiera and mira's surprise, especially the Collector's.

"Oh... My... Titan!", Collector gasped.

"We need to go help them!", Caiera urged strongly before Belos nodded.

Their light beam may have pushed harder against the dark mists, but they quickly got exhausted before the dark mists retaliated and sent the six flying back just as Cronaxx and Belos arrived.

Then the tree swing hard at Cronaxx hard sending him far away.

"Cronaxx!", Mira, Caiera and Belos said in unison before the former turned toward the tree, which roared in triumph, before luz growled, charged toward the tree, and then leapt up with a yell before cleaving the tree in twain, causing it to die in black ash, which gets blown away by the Collector with a snap of his fingers.

Mira,Caiera,willow,Gus,Chris,Luz, Amity, and Lilith recovered and got up in time, luz of them turning back to normal.

"Are you all right, you three?", Caiera asked.

"Yeah... We're okay.", Luz assured.

"That was quite a risk you all took back there.", Mira spoke.

"Yeah... But at least it paid off.", Luz sighed.

"Yeah. You saved us both.", Leif grinned.

"So, what are you all going to do now?", Amity asked.

"We must find the olms and Cronaxx. They'll know what to do.", Leif responded before everyone nodded with Leif looking back at the castle.

"I'm sorry, my friend. This thing can't stay in Amphibia.", Leif said in tears with the female Martian placing her hand on her shoulder.

"We'll see you again, my friend.", Mira assured.

Same here Caiera said.

"Yeah. We'll always be friends, right?", Collector agreed before Leif sadly nodded with a grin and she and the mossman took off.

"Well, guess we'd better head back, too.", Luz said.

"Goodbye.", the rest of the gang spoke as they left.

"Wait! Luzura..., thank you. For everything.", Belos thanked.

"We mean it.", Caiera added.

"You're welcome.", Luz said fondly before she left.

"So, what do you plan on doing now?", Belos asked.

"Well, i have to go back before my father's will worry and he's as ruler the shiwen is gonna come to an end.", Caiera spoke intensely.

"Good luck, Caiera.", Collector grinned.

"Indeed. With what Cronaxx has seen in the vision, there's only one conclusion: the overlord must be stopped!", maria agreed.

Be in we have only delayed him but me and the others will find a way belos said as he and Caiera opened portals back to their home dimensions.

Eda was sitting with her dad and kids except King at the cliff.

"Sorry, I, uh, haven't been in touch. There's been a lot going on.", Eda responded before Dell sighed.

"You disappear from Bonesborough, you're fixing up my old tower, and then suddenly, I see you on a wanted poster. And your mother tells me about the petrification. I wish you'd let us help. But I do hear I have grandchildren now.", Dell grinned before Eda chuckled.

"Yep, I have baby. And Chris,Apollo and deon are Clawthornes now. They can be a handful, but-", Eda began.

"It's been over 20 years, witchlet. I can't chase you anymore.", Dell said.

Then, Eda started getting emotional.

"Then stop! I've ruined your life. Have you even been able to carve a new Palisman since I attacked you?", Eda asked before Dell lifted up his left hand, which trembled, making Eda look guilty before she then looked away as Dell put his hand down.

"Stop trying to forgive me. I don't deserve it.", Eda said as she stood up and walked away, even walking back home guiltily as Amiyah got sad for her.

Suddenly, Dell tapped his hand on her shoulder, stopping her, causing Eda to turn to look at him.

"Don't worry, I'm not here to try that again.", Dell assured before he opened up his left palm, showing Eda something on it.

"What... is that?", Eda asked.

"Indeed. My Palisman-making days are over, but I've been helping the Bat Queen replenish her forests, so someone new can learn the trade.", Dell grinned.

Eda watched as Dell walked into the Owl House and the grandkids cooed. Touched by his words, Eda smiled with tears in her eyes. Right then, behind her, Luz, Amity,willow,Gus,Chris,ash,Chris and Lilith arrived back while riding in the time sphere returning back home.

"That was quite a risky adventure, wasn't it?", Gus said.

"We got lucky today, Luz. That was a history lesson.", Lilith said before Eda turned and walked towards the group.

"Hey nerds! How was your nerd quest? You find that dead nerd?", Eda asked.

"Layin' it on a little thick there, Eda. But, yeah, we found Caleb.", Luz said.

"Whoa, seriously?", Eda asked in surprise.

"Yeah. They turned out okay. But his brother, Philip? He stunk.", Luz responded.

"I punched him in the face.Philip on purpose.", Lilith added.

"Groovy, Auntie.", Luz said, grinning as she and Lilith grinned while making finger guns at each other, much to Eda's annoyance as Belos and Camila looked out from the window with smiles.

"Uh, you gu- you guys need to stop that.", Eda said.

"Is it just me? Or do they all seem familiar now?", Leif asked telepathically to Camila.

"Mmm.", Camila grinned to Leif, looking at her.

He then exhaled deeply as the broken palisman shell turned to dust. When he speaks again, his voice began to change into an all-too-familiar one, revealing that Philip and Nechros were one and the same.

"It doesn't matter. I just need to live long enough to see this through.", Philip/Nechros spoke as he put on the oni mask and took out the tablet and held it up.

He even wiped his hand on it, causing it to flash and make a bell-like sound as it started to project an animation of the Collector and the overlord with the 8 stages of the moon encircling him onto the wall.
