Chapter Ninety-Four
Race Against Time
Raphael and Monalisa ran through the site trying to locate their daughter.
"Hang in there sweetheart!" Raphael was muttering as sweat pouring down his forehead, "Mummy and Daddy are coming!"
Monalisa panted as her lungs felt they were about to burst, but she didn't give up as she kept looking for Pandora.
All over the site, the Foot Ninja as well as the Venomous Five watched with fascination and glee as they knew where Pandora was being held, and they weren't going to say anything to the couple.
"Beautiful." Black Mamba hissed as she watched "Seeing that turtle and his lizard whore search for their freak daughter." She spoke in an ear piece to the other Venomous Five as they were gathered around certain points in the Site.
"I quite like the spider bot!" Nile Monitor growled "She knows how to be cruel!"
"Agreed!" Gila Monster chimed in.
"If only we could join in the fun!" Cobra snarled "I wanted to drool more on those freaks!"
"Quiet you four!" Komodo Dragon snarled into his earpiece, we are only to observe! As much as it annoys me to, we must obey our masters' orders!"
The other Venomous Five grunted in disappointment and continued to watch, hoping that they would get a chance before the night was over.
Meanwhile, Raphael and Monalisa ran on and turned corners, not stopping for a second, sweat poured down their foreheads and their hearts beat with stress and fear.
As they ran, they heard the sounds of Airachnid's Spider Feet as well as saw her shadow appear in the moonlight, showing she was following them.
Raphael could feel his temper rising and he looked around trying to find the Spider bot until he saw her figure on one of the buildings before disappearing into the darkness.
"You bitch!" he shouted "Where's my baby girl? Where's Pandora?"
Yet all he and Monalisa heard was evil laughter.
Monalisa glared and gripped her husband's hand as they continued to run and chase Airachnid as well as search for Pandora.
Before long, they turned a corner, and they saw Airachnid standing on a metal container.
Raphael growled and Monalisa bared her teeth, yet Airachnid smirked and gestured her servo to her left and the couple soon saw hanging on a large building surrounded by cranes was Pandora wrapped in a cocoon!
"Pandora!" they exclaimed as they started to run towards her.
Airachnid smirked as she watched.
Meanwhile, Pandora who had been unconscious when hanging there in the cocoon slowly opened her eyes.
As she did, she gasped as she saw where she was and tried to remember how she had gotten there.
"What?" She asked, "What's going on?"
She tried moving her arms, but they were stuck to her sides, and she couldn't move her legs either as they too were bound tightly.
She then remembered what had happened and she went pale.
"No! MECH, The Foot and that Spider Bot!" she struggled in the webbing then she heard the voices of Raphael and Monalisa down below.
"Mum? Dad?" she gasped then saw them running towards her.
"Mum! Dad!" she screamed.
At the same time, Raphael and Monalisa looked up as they heard her shout.
"We're coming sweetie!" Monalisa shouted.
"Hold on Geisha!" Raphael called up.
Pandora blinked then realised what must have happened, that MECH, the Foot and Airachnid had lured them to her.
"Mum! Dad!" she shouted "No! It's a trap!"
But Raphael and Monalisa didn't listen as they climbed an attached ladder to get to their daughter.
"We're coming baby! We're coming!" Raphael called up "Hold on!"
Pandora struggled more in the webbing then she saw Airachnid approaching her, and she shouted down to her parents.
"No! Mum! Dad! Don't!"
But Monalisa and Raphael arrived to where she was hanging, and they leaned over to her.
"Don't worry Princess!" Raphael shouted "We're gonna get you out!"
Pandora gasped yet she cried out in horror as Airachnid appeared next to her, laughing and cackling.
"Times up!" the Spider Bot smirked at the couple.
"Hey! We beat your deadline!" Raphael roared.
"Afraid not Raphael." Airachnid snapped "The task wasn't for you and your wife to find your little brat by midnight, you had to rescue her!"
The couple gasped in horror, but Pandora turned to the Spider bot and glared, deciding to show her she wasn't frightened, even though deep down she was really scared.
"Who you calling a Brat? Ugly!" she spat glaring at Airachnid who snarled at her then looked at Raphael and Monalisa before firing a shot of webbing at them pinning them to the platform Pandora was hanging from.
"Mum! Dad!" Pandora screamed and started to struggle in the webbing.
"Take a seat, sit back, and enjoy the horror show!" Airachnid smirked.
Meanwhile, Silas watched on his screens via the cameras planted around the site and he turned to his men.
"Make Haste gentlemen!" he ordered "And don't worry about making a mess!"
The soldiers nodded and leaned down over Arcee to continue their work.
Arashi and Dr Arden also watched and were starting to get impatient.
The had managed to cut through Airachnid's webbing and now they were going to attack Arcee's chest.
"Why does it take so long to get through that webbing?" Arashi snarled.
Silas glared.
"We only have time to take one part!" he said, "Go straight for the heart!"
Dr Arden glared.
"They take so long to get things done!" he spat then looked to the video on Silas's screens where Airachnid was tormenting Raphael and Monalisa.
He smirked as he watched, and Arashi licked his lips before placing his finger to his earpiece.
"All ninja near Airachnid's position, capture everything you see."
Yet as the two evil men were looking at the screens, they didn't notice Arcee opening one optic...
At the same time, Raphael and Monalisa struggled against the webbing pinning them to the structure. as they watched Airachnid lean over Pandora.
"You know Raphael, Monalisa, she's your daughter." The Spider Bot mocked as she hung above them "Why should I have all the fun? So, you get to choose, agonising or excruciating!" she asked baring her teeth and acid drool forming on her lips which dripped onto the platform and burnt through the metal making the couple wince as well as back away.
Pandora's heart leapt to her throat, and she struggled more in the webbing, wishing she had remembered her metal claws, so she tried to claw at the webbing with her own nails.
"I'm not gonna just hang here..." she muttered as she clawed at the webbing "I won't be a damsel in distress!"
As she clawed at the webbing, Raphael and Monalisa pulled at our own bindings and looked up at Airachnid who hovered over Pandora's still drooling her acid saliva.
"Raphael, Monalisa, your little brat wants to know, don't leave her... dangling!" she mocked.
Back at the hanger, Silas's men had been able to cut away the webbing and on Silas's orders they took a drill to go straight for Arcee's chest.
Yet before they could get close to her, the Femme opened her eyes and sat up pushing the drill away then with one swipe of her hand she knocked back the soldiers and ninja standing close by.
Silas, Arashi and Dr Arden turned around in alarm.
"She's awake!" Dr Arden exclaimed.
The Mech Soldiers instantly took out their guns and started firing at Arcee who blocked their bullets with her arms, then she turned and transformed into her bike form to go and help Raphael and Monalisa to save their daughter.
"No!" Arashi cried then turned to Silas.
"Let it go." The white-haired man said holding up his hand to instruct his men to stop firing.
"What?" Arashi demanded "You're letting her go?!"
Silas turned to the Foot Leader.
"No matter the Outcome, the spoils will be ours." He said.
Dr Arden glowered then touched his earpiece.
"Venomous Five! Ninja! Watch those robots fight! Let us know the outcome!"
"You better know what you're doing Silas!" Arashi growled.
Meanwhile, Raphael had managed to pull a rail off the platform he and Monalisa were pinned to which had gotten melted by Airachind's acid saliva.
Yet as he did, he saw the Spider-bot lean close to him and Monalisa.
"Well." She said, "If you won't decide..." she moved down to Pandora and leaned close to her "It's ladies' choice!"
She smirked at Pandora, yet as she looked at the Hybrid, she wasn't prepared to see Pandora's fist coming towards her and strike her in the optic!
Airachnid gasped in shock as she threw her head back then she felt Pandora's feet collide with her chin as the hybrid flipped her feet and somersaulted onto the platform with her parents.
Raphael and Monalisa turned to see Pandora land onto the platform and wiggle to try and get the rest of her body out.
"Pandora...?" they gasped then saw their daughter look down at Airachnid who was glaring with one of her optics half open.
"That's for calling me a brat you ugly freak show of a robot!"
Airachnid hissed and was about to make a grab for Pandora when a revving engine filled her audios and she turned to see Arcee's motorcycle form driving towards her then before the Spider Bot could move, Arcee transformed and did a flip with a roar and kicked her away from the platform Raphael, Monalisa and Pandora were on.
The couple and their daughter watched as Arcee and Airachnid began to fight each other.
"She got away!" Raphael cried.
"Atta girl Arcee!" Monalisa shouted then turned to Pandora.
"Sweetie! Geisha!" she pulled her hand free and started to tear at the webbing to get her loose.
"How did you get out of there?" she asked hugging her daughter tightly.
Pandora glared at Airachnid.
"Whilst she was busy blabbering to you, like most enemies do, monologing, I was able to tear the webbing and get my hands free then I just punched her in the eye then flipped up onto the plaform, kicking her chin whilst she was distracted!"
"That's my girl!" Raphael said proudly as he used the broken rail to get his hand free from the webbing then the three of them watched as Arcee and Airachnid battled each other on a cement slide against the moonlight.
Airachnid stood above Arcee on the slide as she had her spider arms out and her servos clawed.
"MECH lost Breakdown." She said, "What are the odds they could hold onto you?" she leapt for Arcee, yet the femme jumped up and the drop kicked her, and they fought in hand-to-hand combat before leaping around the site, striking with their blades as well as firing at each other.
All the while, Raphael, Monalisa and Pandora, as well as the Ninja and the Venomous Five watched the battle.
"So, this is how they fight hmm?" Komodo Dragon mused as he watched whilst several ninjas videoed the scene on their phones.
"If we were to have the technology with MECH, who knows what we could achieve..."
Meanwhile, Raphael, Monalisa and Pandora watched the fight, then as Raphael looked around, he realised they were standing near a control panel for the building and that Arcee and Airachind were fighting near a cement pit!
Raphael pressed a button then some churning sounds were heard, and he soon saw some cement pouring down one of the slides.
Monalisa watched him and saw what he was going to do before looking towards Arcee who managed to do a drop kick onto top of Airachnid and the Spider Bot landed in an empty cement pit which a pipe above it!
"Now Raph!" Monalisa shouted and Raphael pulled a lever and before the dazed Airachnid knew what was happening, the cement was emptied on top of her!
Arcee watched with her arms folded as the cement covered the spider bot who struggled out of the pit and tried to claw at it, yet the cement hardened fast and before long she was frozen solid.
Arcee smirked then looked up at Raphael, Monalisa and Pandora.
"Are you guys okay?" she asked.
"We are!" Raphael called down.
Arcee started to climb towards them, "Hang on!" she called "I'll get you down! Hang on!"
Pandora scoffed at the pun, but her eyes widened as she suddenly saw movement behind Arcee.
"LOOK OUT!" she screamed, but it was too late as a shot of webbing hit Arcee's back and pulled her down to the ground where she was pinned down and Raphael, Monalisa and Pandora saw Airachnid had managed to get herself free of the cement.
"No way!" Raphael cried.
Monalisa gritted her teeth then she heard a roaring sound, and she looked to the skies above to see three helicopters appear!
"At last!" she cried.
"Agent Fowler!?" Raphael cried "But how...?"
He looked at his wife who held up a handheld radio and winked.
"I swiped it from Silas as I was pretending to beg him to stop." She said to which Raphael grinned and stroked her cheek.
"Babe! You genius!" he said.
Pandora also cheered then looked to see Agent Fowler and his helicopters start to fire their guns at Airachnid who roared as she tried to cover herself from the shots.
Meanwhile in the hanger, Silas, his soldiers, Arashi and Dr Arden saw everything on the screens.
Silas glowered.
"How did they find us?" he spat then he touched his hip only to find his radio was missing.
"No..." he said "That lizard bitch took my radio..."
"And alerted help!" Arashi growled then touched his earpiece "Ninja! Venomous Five! Retreat!"
Dr Arden glared at Silas and held up his syringed hands, yet Arashi shook his head.
"We'll discuss this later!" he said, "For now we must leave!"
"Very well!" Dr Arden growled.
"Thanks for coming Agent Fowler!" Monalisa said into the radio as the helicopters continued to fire down on Airachnid.
"No problem Monalisa!" Agent Fowler replied, "Are you, Raphael and your daughter alright?"
"We're fine!" Monalisa reported "If not a bit shaken, but we've been through worse!"
"You got that right!" Raphael agreed as he looked down at Airachnid, yet he could barely see her through the smoke that came up as the bullets from the helicopter rained down on her.
Just then, a beam of green lights appeared and flashed up towards Agent Fowler's helicopter and the agent as well as the pilot winced as the engines sparked as Airachind scanned the vehicle then she transformed into a black helicopter and flew away into the night!
Arcee, Raphael, Monalisa and Pandora could only watch in horror as well as fear, knowing that now Airachnid could transform, she would be harder to catch!
Yet, whilst some were horrified, Silas smirked as he watched everything on his screens.
"So that's how it's done." He murmured as he saw how the robots were able to aquire their vehicle modes.
"Genius..."
Arashi and Dr Arden also observed, and they too were amazed even though they were still angry they hadn't gotten any of the spoils Silas had promised.
"So we have learnt something." Arashi snarled "Even if we got nothing to take away." He turned around to see his Ninja and the Venomous Five return.
"Let's get out of here!" he ordered "Before we're caught!"
Silas clicked his fingers, and the hanger went dark as they locked up the hanger to strip the place before Agent Fowler or his men showed up.
Meanwhile, Agent Fowler had landed the helicopters and after ordering the soldiers in the other two to search the sight, he and his pilot walked over to Raphael, Monalisa, Pandora and Arcee to check on their well-being.
He gave the couple and the hybrid some blankets to wrap around them, and his pilot walked over with a medical kit as well as some hot drinks.
"Culpepper." Agent Fowler said, "Look after them whilst I check in with the others."
"Yes sir!" the pilot replied, and he took off his helmet and googles to reveal himself as a handsome young man with brown hair, hazel eyes, and a scar across his nose.
As he looked at Pandora, he gave her a smile as well as a caring look.
"You okay?" he asked handing her a Styrofoam cup with some tea in it, "That must have been rather scary for you."
Pandora chuckled.
"Oh, I've had worse, trust me." She said as she looked at the man and smiled softly as she looked into his eyes.
"Oh?" the pilot asked as he knelt before her, that same smile on his face as he spoke to her yet before the hybrid could say anything else, she heard Arcee's voice.
"Hey Pandora." The femme walked over to check on her charges "As I was driving up to confront Airachnid, I saw what you did." She knelt down before them and smiled.
"That was pretty hardcore."
Pandora smiled proudly "I did my best." She said, "I didn't want to be a victim."
"And you're not kiddo." Raphael said with a smirk "You're a tough one for sure!"
"I learnt from the best!" Pandora winked at her parents.
Monalisa stroked her daughter's cheek.
"We're proud of you Geisha." She said.
The pilot smiled.
"Learnt from your parents huh?" he asked as he stood up "You know, I'd love to know what you learnt."
"Oh?" Pandora asked, her cheeks going pink.
The pilot nodded yet before he could say anything else, Fowler walked over.
"God Damn!" he growled "They've disappeared without a trace!"
Raphael growled and Monalisa looked furious.
"Typical of the Foot!" Raphael spat.
Arcee glowered.
"Let us return to base." She suggested "We'll need to report back to Optimus about what happened tonight."
Monalisa and Raphael agreed then Arcee transformed and Raphael and Monalisa jumped on her back but then realised there was no room for Pandora.
Luckily Agent Fowler stepped in.
"Don't worry, I'll give her a lift." He said then turned to his pilot "Culpepper?"
The pilot nodded then turned to Pandora.
"Please come with us." He said picking up his helmet and putting it on.
"Okay." Pandora said then looked at her parents "I'll see you back at the base mum, dad." She said giving them both a hug.
Raphael and Monalisa hugged their daughter back then they set off on Arcee out of the site to head back to the silo whilst Pandora climbed into the helicopter with Fowler and Culpepper.
"Hold on tight." Culpepper said, "We're ready for lift off."
Pandora gripped her seat as the helicopter lifted into the air and she smiled as she looked at the pilot, thinking about how kind and handsome he was...
Even though Pandora is saved, Airachnid, MECH and the Foot got away! Damn!
But despite that, Arcee, Raphael, Monalisa and Pandora are safe, and Pandora seems to have taken a liking to Agent Fowler's Pilot!
