Chapter 159 Injustice 7

After the group returned from they're assault at the mansion they were having a meeting.

"Now that we have gathered the kryptonite, we'll have to be careful now." Batman said.

"Yes with Superman aware, no doubt he will plan something." Freeze said.

"Well maybe we should get more help. Are these the only ones we have?" Hibiki said.

Luthor then came. "Not all."

"What?!" Ghost said.

"How are you even alive?!" Hal said.

"Unlike your Luthor, I never indulged in crimes." He said.

"He's the one that gives us the info on the regime." Batman said.

"Superman would never notice his best friend being his enemy." Luthor said.

"Well at least he's better than ours." Fire said.

"So who's the one you wish to bring Hibiki?" Luthor looks at him.

"Theres a few, but if we can bring two that should be enough." Hibiki said.

They tried the machine again as they saw it charge up, then Sub-Zero and Raiden came out of it.

"Sub-Zero." Scorpion said.

"Lord Raiden too!" Hibiki was surprised.

"Where are we?" Sub-Zero said.

"Let me explain." Hibiki said.

He explains to both of them and the events that have happened to the world making both understand.

"I see, then this world will require our help." Raiden said.

"I'm sorry that you got brought in." Hibiki said.

"No worries. It is good that we came early on. If this Superman isn't stopped than our worlds can be harmed too." Raiden said.

"Yes, I think it's best I make you both and Scorpion a new suit, just for the future battles." Batman said.

"A new suit?" Scorpion said.

"Just for extra protection." Batman said.

Raiden thinks about it and nodded. "Very well."

"I can help with it." Toyman offered.

"Well good luck with that. I'll be checking around." Ghost goes off.

He goes down a hallway and looks around at the base, theres still a lot he didn't see. But then he heard a sound of typing.

He goes inside and saw Barbara of this world typing on a computer sitting on a wheelchair.

"Babs?" He said.

She looks at him. "Well... It's been a long time since someone called me that. You must be Ghost."

"Yes I am." He goes up to her.

"I heard from Batman that you came from a different universe, how do I look there?" She asked.

He takes out a picture of his Barbara with him and she looks. Barbara then chuckles seeing it.

"Wow, it's like looking at a old photo of school. I used to be that cheerful back then." She smiles.

"Yeah, your always been the most cheerful being a hero." Ghost said.

"It seems she didn't get the same accident as me." She looks at herself.

"Joker." Ghost was mad at what he did.

"So, can you promise me that she will be alright." Barbara said.

Ghost nodded. "Yes, I will protect her."

"She has her life ahead of her." Barbara said. "Being Batgirl seems more like she's trying to admire Bruce, which isn't bad, just the Batman there is basically a jerk."

"Yeah, if she met yours then it would have been better." Ghost said.

"Bruce isn't perfect but he's a good man." Barbara said. "I gave up on Batgirl and became Oracle."

Ghost saw the batgirl suit on a stand.

"It must have been hard." He said.

"Yeah, but I managed." Oracle said.

He noticed a photo that has James Gordon but it seems like for a funeral.

"Don't tell me..." He said.

"Dad? Yeah." She looks down.

"Those darn Regime!" Ghost was mad.

Now he's glad Babs isn't here, she could have been devestated seeing that.

"Dad and I never might not have had the best relationship, but I still loved him." Oracle said.

"Yeah, even back in my universe, you might have had your differences, but you still care for each other." Ghost said.

Oracle smiles hearing that.

"She will have a good life, I know it." She said.

Ghost looks at her.

"She's got good friends in the start." She added.

Ghost chuckles at what she said. "Yeah, she does."

He remembers the times they spent together and they were a great team.

"I'm still sad that many of they're counterparts are either dead, with the regime or missing." Ghost said.

"We live to our choices." She said. "But you can be the change to make sure that doesn't happen."

He stares at her and knows she's right, he's the unique part of that world and he will make sure that the girls will have a good life.

"But you'll have a long way. As Superman will no doubt be after you and Hibiki." Oracle said.

"Yeah, we're the ones he doesn't know." Ghost said.

"Two unknown heroes are something nobody can take easy. As they can become very powerful." Oracle said.

Ghost thinks about the eyecons he got and maybe finding the other fallen heroes can be a good help against him.

"Well it's best we all get ready just in case." Ghost said.

Oracle nodded. "I saw that you got Batwoman. She was a good woman."

Red Hood came inside and saw Oracle.

"Jason." She said.

He looks away. "Barbara."

She smiles. "It's good to have you back."

"Whatever." He goes away.

"He still needs time." Oracle said.

"Seeing that he became like this I wouldn't blame him." Ghost said.

Joker destroyed many lives in his path of chaos. But now the most important enemy here is Superman. As if he continues this path than both of they're worlds might be targeted by this mad man.

"Me and Hibiki will make sure he doesn't win and be stopped once and for all."

At a crashed sight theres a purple smoke coming out with a laughter being heard.

"The fun is just about to begin."

Nearby a girl with blonde hair looks outside a window.

"Theres something bad going to happen." She goes to a wardrobe.

She takes out a red cape and considers using it one more time.

Note: Ghost met Oracle and they talked about her life and Shun's Barbara too, while a surprise is about to happen later on.
