Chapter 103: Orange League Tournament R1 Ash vs Tad
Hello everyone, this chapter will mainly focus on Ash and Tad's battle I hope you all enjoy!
The chapter begins where the last chapter left off with Heracross and Stoutland clashing with Focus Punch and Giga Impact. We see the 2-mons going back and forth trying to knock their opponent away as Tad speaks.
"Push harder Stoutland!" Tad calls with the dog nodding as it increases the power of its Giga Impact and begins to slowly push Heracross back as Ash speaks.
"Come on Heracross don't let Stoutland beat you!" "Pika!" Ash along with Pikachu cheer as Heracross increases the power of his Focus Punch in his right fist and begins matching Stoutland as Jake speaks.
"Looks like neither Heracross nor Stoutland want to lose!" Jake says as Don George speaks.
"Indeed, they're both showcasing incredible power and seem to be evenly matched" Don George says as back on the battlefield the 2-mons continue pushing each other back and forth as Ash sees that Heracross's left arm is free then speaks.
"Heracross hit Stoutland with Focus Punch from your left fist!" Ash calls with Heracross nodding as before Tad can call for a command Heracross quickly uppercuts Stoutland with his left fist causing super effective damage to the mon and making it stop using Giga Impact. Tad has a surprised look on his face as Ash speaks.
"Now Heracross use Focus Punch again!" Ash calls. Heracross's right fist glows blue and goes to punch Stoutland as Tad speaks.
"Stoutland quick use Fire Blast!" Tad calls "It knows Fire Blast?!" Ash says in surprise as just before Heracross hits Stoutland the dog quickly covers its mouth in fire and fires out a large blast of fire that hits Heracross creating an explosion as Ash speaks.
"Heracross!" Ash calls in worry as out of the explosion appears Heracross who's sent flying a few feet away and lands on his stomach. Heracross groans in pain as back in the stands Misty speaks.
"I didn't know that Stoutland could use Fire Blast" Misty says as Rinto speaks.
"After Heracross hit Stoutland with its first Focus Punch Tad knew that Ash was going to have Heracross attack Stoutland again. So, once Heracross got close enough he had Stoutland use Fire Blast to hit Heracross causing major damage to it." Rinto says with the group nodding as they continue to cheer Ash and Heracross on. Back on the battlefield Heracross continues to groan in pain as Ash speaks.
"Heracross are you okay?!" Ash asks with the bug nodding as he stands back up and the moment, he does he gets consumed in flames surprising Ash as Don George speaks.
"Looks like that that Fire Blast inflicted a burn status on Heracross" Don George says as Jake speaks.
"That's going to leave a mark!" Jake says as back on the battlefield Tad smiles and speaks.
"Nice it worked okay Stoutland use Work Up then Fire Blast again!" Tad calls Stoutland lets out a loud roar as it increases its physical attack and special attack power. Stoutland then covers its mouth in fire and fires out a large blast of fire at Heracross as Ash speaks.
"Heracross dodge!" Ash calls. Heracross quickly moves to the left and avoids the attack as Tad speaks.
"Use Giga Impact!" Tad calls as suddenly Stoutland appears and hits Heracross causing damage to the mon and sending him crashing back down on the battlefield a few feet away as Ash speaks.
"Heracross!" Ash calls in worry as when the dust clears Heracross's laying on his stomach groaning in pain then takes burn damage as Tad speaks.
"Okay Stoutland it's time to end this! Use Fire Blast again!" Tad calls Stoutland roars and fires out another big blast of fire that heads for Heracross. Back in the stands Tracey speaks.
"This isn't good if that Fire Blast lands Heracross's going to lose Ash needs to do something quick" Tracey says as the others continue to cheer Ash on. Back on the battlefield the Fire Blast is getting closer to Heracross as Ash smiles and speaks.
"Heracross use Bulk Up and knock this Fire Blast away with Mega Horn!" Ash calls. Heracross nods as he stands up and looks at the incoming blast of fire. Heracross bulks up his body increasing his physical attack and defense. After that Heracross's horn grows big and is glowing in green bug energy as he then collides with the attack. Once Heracross does that the big blast of fire begins to slowly push the bug back as Tad speaks.
"Try as you might but there's no way that your Heracross is going to knock away my Stoutland's Fire Blast." Tad says while having a confident look on his face as Ash smiles and speaks.
"You sure about that?" Ash asks, making Tad confused as Ash speaks.
"Do it Heracross!" Ash calls. Heracross suffers from burn damage again but then roars as he manages to destroy the Fire Blast with his horn. Tad along with the people in the crowd have surprised looks on their faces as Tad speaks.
"But how?!" Tad questions as Ash speaks.
"It's thanks to my Heracross's ability Guts" Ash responds as Tad speaks.
"Guts? Wait you're Heracross has the Guts ability?!" Tad says with Ash nodding as back in the stands Tracey speaks.
"I get it after Heracross got the burn status his Guts ability activated meaning that his attack power has increased." Tracey says as Rinto speaks.
"Don't forget Ash also had his Heracross increase his attack power with Bulk Up too, so Heracross is now a lot stronger than it was before." Rinto says as Leaf speaks.
"Looks like Ash can finally turn this around!" Leaf says happily with Tracey and Rinto nodding as the others continue to cheer. Back on the battlefield Ash sees Heracross groaning in pain and begins to think.
"Doesn't seem like Heracross's going to last much longer I need to finish this now" Ash says to himself as he calls for a command.
"Heracross fly forward!" Ash calls with the mon nodding as he begins flying towards Stoutland Tad speaks.
"Use Fire Blast!" Tad calls. Stoutland fires out a big blast of fire that heads for Heracross as Ash speaks.
"Heracross punch through it with Focus Punch then use Mega Horn!" Ash calls with Heracross nodding as his right fist glows and connects with the blast of fire easily punching through it. Heracross's horn then glows in green bug energy and hits Stoutland hard in the face causing damage to the mon as Tad speaks.
"Stoutland use Fire Fang!" "Heracross dodge then throw Stoutland high into the air!" Both trainers' call. Stoutland covers its teeth in fire and goes to bite Heracross but the bug dodges by moving to the right. Heracross then quickly grabs Stoutland and throws the mon high into the air as Ash speaks.
"Now Heracross go after Stoutland!" Ash calls. Heracross suffers from burn damage then begins flying after Stoutland as Tad speaks.
"Stoutland use Giga Impact and Fire Fang!" Tad calls. Stoutland manages to readjust itself, covers its body in an orange sphere with purple streaks and starts heading for Heracross. Stoutland covers its teeth in fire which also causes the fire to mix with the Giga Impact as it now looks like a flaming comet which surprises everyone. Everyone continues looking in the air seeing the two-mons getting closer to each other and when they're about to collide Ash speaks.
"Heracross dodge then use Close Combat!" Ash calls surprising Tad as Heracross narrowly moves to the right and is now on Stoutland's left side. Heracross quickly shoots forward and begins punching and hitting Stoutland with his horn repeatedly causing super effective damage to the mon. Heracross continues to do that until he suddenly stops and becomes consumed in fire again suffering burn damage as Tad speaks.
"Stoutland quick use Fire Blast!" Tad calls as Stoutland roars and fires out a big blast of fire that heads for Heracross as Ash speaks.
"Heracross break through the Fire Blast and when you do use Bulk Up then Focus Punch!" Ash calls. Heracross hears Ash's command and shoots forward entering the Fire Blast. Heracross groans in pain but then a couple seconds later Heracross bursts out of the move surprising Tad and Stoutland. Heracross then bulks up his body again increasing his physical attack and defense power. Heracross's right fist glows an intense blue as ash speaks.
"Do it Heracross!" "Stoutland dodge!" Both trainers' call. Unfortunately for Tad Heracross punches Stoutland hard in the face and sends the mon crashing back down on the battlefield creating a dust cloud as Tad speaks.
"Stoutland!" Tad calls in worry as we see Heracross land back on the battlefield groaning in pain then looks forward waiting to see the results. A couple seconds later the dust clears, and everyone can see Stoutland laying on its back and is knocked out as Cissy speaks.
"Stoutland's unable to battle Heracross's the winner!" Cissy says as Ash speaks.
"Alright!" "Pika!" Ash along with Pikachu cheer causing the crowd to cheer too. Back at Oak's ranch Delia, Mr. Mime, Oak, Daisy, Rose and Ash's Pokémon cheer too with the fighting types and Scyther cheering the loudest. Back to the stadium Ash's friends cheer too as Hau speaks.
"He did it!" Hau says as Cameron speaks.
"I was worried there for a second" Cameron says with the others nodding as back on the battlefield Ash looks at Heracross and speaks.
"You did it Heracross great job!" "Pika!" Ash along with Pikachu say as Heracross looks at them and smiles but after that he continues to groan in pain as Ash speaks.
"Heracross return" Ash says with the bug nodding as he goes back in his Pokeball. Once he does Ash looks at the ball telling Heracross to take a break as he might need him for later then puts the ball back on his belt. On the other side of the battlefield Tad returns Stoutland back to its Pokeball and tells the mon thank you as he then puts the ball away. Once he does that, he looks at Ash and speaks.
"Your Heracross was tough I wasn't expecting it to take on multiple fire type attacks" Tad says as Ash speaks.
"Thanks back at home he sometimes trains with my fire types and has grown a small resistance to fire type moves." Ash says with Tad nodding as he speaks.
"I see. Well then let's see how you'll deal with my next one. Aggron come out!" Tad says as he throws the ball forward and sends out an Aggron. When the mon appears, it lets out a mighty roar then looks forward waiting for its opponent as Ash begins to think.
"So, an Aggron's next which means that I'll go with you" Ash says to himself while looking at his next Pokeball. Ash then looks forward and speaks.
"Arcanine, I choose you!" Ash says as he throws the ball forward and out of it appears his Hisuian Arcanine. When Arcanine appears he lets out a mighty roar creating a shock wave that showcases his power. Once Arcanine's done roaring he looks at Aggron with Aggron looking back as Jake speaks.
"Ash's next Pokémon is a Hisuian Arcanine!" Jake says as the people in the crowd look at the mon we come over to the others as Tracey speaks.
"Ash's using his Arcanine he should be able to defeat Aggron" Tracey says as Rinto speaks.
"True but Aggron can also learn a good variety of moves that can counter Arcanine's fire attacks and also use attacks that are super effective against Arcanine." Rinto says as Tracey speaks.
"Making this pretty even for both of them" Tracey says with Rinto nodding while the others continue to cheer. Back on the battlefield Ash looks at Arcanine and speaks.
"Let's win this Arcanine!" Ash says with the dog nodding as he along with Aggron then get into battle stances. Cissy calls for the battle to continue as Ash speaks.
"Arcanine use Flamethrower!" Ash calls. Arcanine heats up his mouth and is about to fire the move as Tad speaks.
"Use Roar!" Tad calls surprising Ash as Aggron lets out a loud roar which stops Arcanine from using Flamethrower and sends the mon back in his Pokeball. A couple seconds later Heracross comes back out and has a confused look on his face as Tad speaks.
"Aggron quick use Iron Head!" "Heracross dodge!" Both trainers' call. Before Heracross can dodge Aggron covers its head in steel energy, shoots forward and hits Heracross causing damage to him. Heracross slides back a few feet away and takes some burn damage too as Tad speaks.
"Now Aggron use Stone Edge!" "Heracross dodge!" Both trainers' call. Aggron lets out a mighty roar as it summons multiple large stones around itself and fires them at Heracross. Heracross sees the sharp stones coming but can't dodge as he's flinching from the Iron Head. A couple seconds later the sharp stones hit Heracross causing super effective damage and making him cry out in pain as Ash speaks.
"Heracross!" Ash calls in worry as when the sharp stones disappear Heracross falls on his stomach. When he does Cissy looks at Heracross, sees that he's knocked out then speaks.
"Heracross's unable to battle Aggron's the winner!" Cissy calls allowing for Tad along with Aggron to cheer with the crowd cheering as well. In the stands Leaf speaks.
"Darn Heracross lost" Leaf says as Hau speaks.
"That Roar really caught Ash off guard" Hau says with the others nodding as they continue to watch the battle. Back on the battlefield Ash's sad that Heracross lost then returns the mon back to his Pokeball. When he does that Ash tells Heracross thank you then looks forward and sees Tad return his Aggron. Tad then pulls out another Pokeball and speaks.
"Dusknoir you're next!" Tad says as he throws the ball forward and sends out a mon that looks like a Dusclops but it's bigger and is floating in the air. The mon looks forward as Ash speaks.
"Who's that Pokémon?" Ash says as he along with Leaf pull out their Pokedex's to scan the mon.
"Dusknoir, the Gripper Pokémon a pure Ghost Type and the fully evolved form of Dusclops. It receives electrical waves from the spirit world with its antenna and is said to take people to the spirit world as well." The Pokedex's say as Cameron speaks.
"It looks pretty intense do you guys think that Ash can beat it?" Cameron says as Barry speaks.
"Well, he better otherwise I'm giving him a fine" Barry responds as he along with the others continue to cheer on Ash. Back on the battlefield Ash looks at Dusknoir and begins to think.
"This Dusknoir is emitting a lot of pressure but I'm confident that my next Pokémon can beat it" Ash says to himself as he pulls out his next Pokeball and goes to throw it.
"Kingler, I choose you!" Ash says as he throws the ball forward and sends out Kingler. Once the crab appears he pinches his pincers together and is ready to battle as Jake speaks.
"Ash's next Pokémon is Kingler! Will it be able to take down Dusknoir?!" Jake says as back on the battlefield Ash looks at Kingler and speaks.
"Let's do this Kingler!" "Pika!" Ash along with Pikachu say with Kingler nodding as he along with Dusknoir get into battle stances. Cissy calls for the battle to continue as Tad speaks.
"Use Shadow Ball!" Tad calls Dusknoir creates a ball of ghostly energy and fires it at Kingler as Ash speaks.
"Kingler knock it back with Crabhammer then use Night Slash!" Ash calls. Kingler covers his left pincer in water and hits the Shadow Ball sending it back towards Dusknoir as Tad speaks.
"Dusknoir knock the Shadow Ball away!" Tad calls. Dusknoir swings out its left arm knocking the ghostly ball away and when it does that Kingler appears in front of the mon with both of his pincers covered in dark energy as Ash speaks.
"Hit it Kingler!" "Dusknoir use Disable!" Both trainers' call. When Kingler's about to hit Dusknoir the mons eyes glow and disable's Kingler's Night Slash making it disappear. Kinger has a surprised look on his face as Tad speaks.
"Now use Shadow Punch!" "Kingler Block!" Both trainers' call. Dusknoir covers its left fist in ghost energy and goes to punch Kingler. Kingler quickly brings up both of his pincers and blocks the attack as he's sent flying. Kingler lands back on the battlefield a few feet away as Tad speaks.
"Dusknoir use Mean Look!" Tad calls. Dusknoir's eyes glow as it sends out a shadowy figure that wraps around Kingler and makes it so he can't be switched out as Ash speaks.
"Kingler use Hydro Pump!" Ash calls. Kingler points his left pincer forward and sends out a large stream of water that heads for Dusknoir as Tad speaks.
"Dusknoir dodge! Then use Trick Room and Return!" Tad calls. Dusknoir easily evades the Hydro Pump and when it does it summons a large room that covers the entire battlefield before it then disappears. After that Dusknoir then goes back in its Pokeball as Tad pulls out another one and speaks.
"Ampharos come out!" Tad calls as he throws the ball forward and sends out a bipedal yellow sheep like Pokémon. When the mon appears, it has a serious look on its face as Ash speaks.
"Who's that Pokémon?" Ash says as he along with Leaf pull out their Pokedex's to scan the mon.
"Ampharos, the Light Pokémon and a pure Electric Type. Ampharos emits a strong light from the tip of its tail, which can be seen over long distances and serve as a beacon to those who are lost." The Pokedex's say as Ash speaks.
"So, that's what it is" Ash says to himself as Tad speaks.
"Use Thunder!" Tad calls. Ampharos lets out a mighty roar and fires a large electric bolt at Kingler as Ash speaks.
"Kingler quick use Protect!" Ash calls and before Kingler can use the move the Thunder connects with the crab. Kingler cries out in pain from the electric attack surprising Ash as back in the stands Cameron speaks.
"That Thunder hit Kingler before he could bring up the Protect" Cameron says as Rinto speaks.
"It's because of the Trick Room making Ampharos faster and making Kingler slower" Rinto says as Hau speaks.
"And Ash can't return Kingler because Mean Look makes Kingler unable to be switched out" Hau says with the others nodding. Back on the battlefield the Thunder stops shocking Kingler as Ash speaks.
"Kingler are you okay?!" Ash asks with the mon nodding but he's groaning in pain as Ash begins to think.
"That Thunder did a lot of damage to Kingler I have to make sure that he doesn't get hit again." Ash says to himself as Tad speaks.
"Use Electro Ball!" Tad calls. Ampharos creates a ball of electricity and fires it at Kingler as Ash speaks.
"Kingler quick use Protect!" Ash calls just when the electric ball was about to hit him, Kingler successfully creates a protective barrier blocking the attack. Ash has a smile on his face as Tad speaks.
"Use Iron Tail!" Tad calls Ampharos, shoots forward and reaches Kingler instantly. Kingler's protect barrier goes down as he sees Ampharos's tail glow in steel energy and is going to hit him as Ash speaks.
"Kingler quick block with your arms!" Ash calls Kingler quickly brings up his arms and blocks Ampharos's attack. Once Kingler does that Ampharos tries to push down harder but Kingler isn't budging as Ash speaks.
"Great job Kingler now knock Ampharos away with Crabhammer!" Ash calls and just when Kingler's about to do that Tad speaks.
"Use Thunder Wave!" Tad calls. Ampharos quickly fires out 5 electric rings that connect with Kingler and paralyze him stopping his movements. Ash has a surprised look on his face as Tad speaks.
"Now Ampharos use Thunder!" Tad calls. Ampharos fires out a large electric bolt that shocks Kingler doing super effective damage to him until there's then an explosion as Ash speaks.
"Kingler!" Ash calls in worry as out of the cloud of smoke appears Kingler who's sent sliding away until he stops. Ash then speaks.
"Kingler are you okay?!" Ash asks while looking at the crab who's groaning in pain and has scratches all over his body as Tad smiles and speaks.
"This is the end for your Kingler. Ampharos use Thunder one more time!" Tad calls. Ampharos lets out a roar and fires a large Thunder that heads for Kingler. Up in the stands Tracey speaks.
"This isn't good Ash needs to do something fast" Tracey says with the others nodding as they continue to watch the battle. Back on the battlefield the electric bolt continues heading for Kingler as Ash speaks.
"Kingler use Protect then Hyper Beam!" Ash calls. Kingler groans from the paralysis but manages to successfully summon a protective barrier that blocks the Thunder. Then when the Thunder along with Kingler's protective barrier disappears Kingler points his left pincer forward and fires out a large orange beam that heads for Ampharos as Tad speaks.
"That won't work dodge Ampharos!" Tad calls Ampharos nods as it moves to the right easily avoiding the beam. Ash then smiles and speaks.
"Now Kingler use Stomping Tantrum!" Ash calls surprising Tad as Kingler quickly stomps his right foot hard on the battlefield which sends out multiple splinters of the ground at Ampharos that hit the mon hard in the stomach and sends it flying as Tad speaks.
"Ampharos!" Tad calls in worry as he sees Ampharos land back on the battlefield a few feet away and is groaning in pain. Back in the stands Rinto speaks.
"Ash knew Tad was going to have Ampharos dodge the Hyper Beam and when it did it allowed for Kingler to use Stomping Tantrum and since Kingler missed his previous attack that made the Stomping Tantrum more powerful." Rinto says with the others nodding as they continue to cheer Ash on. Back on the battlefield Ash looks at Kingler and speaks.
"Kingler let's keep going use X-Scissor!" Ash calls. Kingler crosses his arms in an X shape and shoots forward heading for Ampharos as Tad speaks.
"Dodge Ampharos!" Tad calls. Ampharos sees Kingler coming and quickly moves out of the way dodging the attack making Kingler go pass it as Tad speaks.
"Looks like your Kingler missed" Tad says as Ash speaks.
"True but hitting Ampharos wasn't Kingler's goal" Ash responds while having a smirk on his face and making Tad confused at first, but Tad then realizes what Ash means and quickly calls for a command.
"Ampharos quick use Thunder on Kingler!" "Too late! Kingler hit the Trick Room!" Both trainers' call. Before Ampharos's Thunder can hit Kingler the crab manages to hit the Trick Room and destroys it. The crowd along with Tad and those watching on TV have surprised looks on their faces. Kingler then sees the Thunder still coming for him as Ash speaks.
"Kingler use Dig to dodge!" Ash calls. Kingler quickly digs underground and dodges the Thunder. Kingler doesn't stay underground for long as a couple seconds later Kingler appears out from under Ampharos and sends the mon flying with Kingler going after it as Tad speaks.
"Ampharos use Thunder on Kingler!" "Kingler dodge then use Hammer Arm!" Both trainers' call. Up in the air Ampharos sees Kingler coming and fires out a large bolt of electricity, but Kingler manages to dodge the attack. Kingler then makes it to Ampharos his left pincer glows in white fighting energy and slams it hard on Ampharos sending the mon crashing back down hard on the battlefield as Tad speaks.
"Ampharos!" Tad calls in worry as when the smoke clears, we see Ampharos laying on its back groaning in pain, but it then looks up and sees Kingler heading towards it as Tad speaks.
"Ampharos use Thunder!" Tad calls. Ampharos roars and fires out a large electric bolt towards Kingler as Ash speaks.
"Kingler use Protect to block then use Swords Dance!" Ash calls Kingler groans from the paralysis but manages to summon a protective barrier and blocks the Thunder. Kingler then sharply increases his attack power and continues heading for Ampharos as Ash speaks.
"Now Kingler finish it with Crabhammer!" "Ampharos dodge!" Both trainers' call. Unfortunately for Tad Ampharos's unable to dodge in time as Kingler covers his left pincer in water and slams it hard on Ampharos creating an explosion along with a big cloud of smoke as Tad speaks.
"Ampharos!" Tad calls in worry as a couple seconds later when the smoke clears everyone can see Ash's Kingler panting heavily while looking at an unconscious Ampharos. Cissy then makes the call.
"Ampharos is unable to battle Kingler's the winner!" Cissy calls making Ash happy as he speaks.
"We did it!" "Pika!" Ash along with Pikachu cheer with Kingler cheering as well. Up in the stands the crowd along with Ash's friends cheer for them too. At Oak's ranch Delia, Mr. Mime, Oak, Daisy, Rose and Ash's Pokémon let out a loud cheer with Ash's water type Pokémon cheering the loudest. Back on the battlefield Tad returns Ampharos back to its Pokeball and tells the mon thank you. After Tad puts Ampharos's Pokeball away he pulls out another Pokeball and speaks.
"Dusknoir come back out!" Tad says as he throws the ball forward and sends Dusknoir back in. Once the mon appears it looks at Kingler with Kingler looking back as Ash thinks.
"So, Dusknoir's back in." Ash says to himself as he looks over at Kingler who still wants to battle Ash then speaks.
"Kingler I'm still keeping you in!" Ash says with Kingler nodding as he along with Dusknoir get into battle stances. Cissy calls for the battle to continue as Ash speaks.
"Kingler use Hydro Pump!" Ash calls. Kingler quickly fires out a large stream of water that heads for Dusknoir as Tad speaks.
"Dusknoir dodge then use Shadow Punch!" Tad calls. Dusknoir moves to the right and dodges Kingler's attack. Dusknoir then punches its right fist forward and sends out a shadowy fist that heads for Kingler as Ash speaks.
"Counter with Liquidation!" Ash calls. Kingler covers both of his pincers in water and turns them into water blades. When the shadowy fist is about to hit Kingler the crab swings out his arms and easily slices the fist in half. Tad isn't surprised as he calls for his next command.
"Dusknoir use Trick Room!" Tad calls "Oh no you don't! Kingler Hydro Pump!" Ash calls "Dusknoir dodge!" Tad calls. Just when Dusknoir's about to use Trick Room Kingler quickly fires out a large stream of water that heads for Dusknoir causing the mon to dodge the attack as Ash speaks.
"Kingler use Hyper Beam!" Ash calls surprising Tad as Kingler fires out a large orange beam that consumes Dusknoir. Up in the stands Cameron speaks.
"Why's Ash having Kingler use Hyper Beam on Dusknoir? It's not going to hurt it." Cameron says as Tracey speaks.
"I'm sure that Ash has a plan" Tracey says as Barry speaks.
"He better otherwise I'm going to give him a fine" Barry says while having an annoyed look on his face while the others continue watching the battle. Back on the battlefield the Hyper Beam consumes Dusknoir but isn't doing any damage to the mon as a couple seconds later the move disappears Tad then speaks.
"I'm not sure why you had your Kingler use Hyper Beam when it has no effect on Dusknoir." Tad says as Ash speaks.
"True it doesn't have any effect on Dusknoir, but it did make for a great distraction" Ash says making Tad confused as he then looks at the battlefield and sees the Kingler's gone. Tad has a surprised look on his face and just when he's about to begin trying to look for the mon Ash speaks.
"Kingler out of the hole and use Swords Dance!" Ash calls as a couple seconds later Kingler appears out from underneath Dusknoir and is in front of the mon surprising it along with Tad. Kingler then sharply increases his attack power again as Tad speaks.
"Dusknoir use Shadow Punch!" Tad calls and when Dusknoir goes to use the move Ash speaks.
"Kingler use Night Slash!" Ash calls surprising Tad as when Dusknoir goes to punch Kingler the crab covers both of his pincers in dark energy and slashes Dusknoir's stomach causing super effective damage and getting a critical hit. Back in the stands Tracey speaks.
"I see so by using Hyper Beam Ash knew that Tad wouldn't have Dusknoir avoid it as it has no effect." Tracey says as Rinto speaks.
"Which also means that it allowed for Ash to have Kingler use Dig and get close to Dusknoir. Then when it did Ash had Kingler raise its attack with Swords Dance and use Night Slash." Rinto says as Cameron speaks.
"But wasn't Night Slash disabled?" Cameron asks as Hau speaks.
"It was but after waiting awhile the effect of Disable will wear off and it seems like it did a while ago and Ash just wanted Kingler to get close to Dusknoir so that he could land the attack on it." Hau says with Cameron nodding as Barry speaks.
"Well, I could've thought of that" Barry says while Misty, Leaf, Nemona, Togetic, and Poliwag continue to cheer Ash on. Back on the battlefield Dusknoir's groaning in pain from the Night Slash as Kingler lands back on the ground Ash speaks.
"Great job Kingler!" "Pika!" Ash along with Pikachu cheer making Kingler smile as Tad speaks.
"Dusknoir it's time to end this use Hex!" "Kingler use Protect!" Both trainers' call. Dusknoir creates purple wisps and fires them at Kingler. When Kingler goes to use Protect he's unable to because of the paralysis. After that the purple wisps connect with Kingler and begin to hurt the mon making him cry out in pain as Ash speaks.
"Kingler!" Ash calls in worry as when the wisps go away Kingler groans in pain then falls on his stomach. Cissy looks at Kingler and sees that he can't battle anymore then speaks.
"Kingler's unable to battle Dusknoir's the winner!" Cissy calls allowing for Tad and Dusknoir to cheer as Jake speaks.
"After an impressive display by Kingler it was unable to take down Dusknoir" Jake says as back in the stands Leaf speaks.
"Aw Kingler lost" Leaf says as Tracey speaks.
"True but he was able to damage Dusknoir which means that it'll be a lot easier for Ash's next Pokémon to take it down." Tracey says with Leaf nodding. Back on the battlefield Ash returns Kingler back to his Pokeball and tells the mon thank you. Ash then pulls out his next Pokeball and speaks.
"Seismitoad, I choose you!" Ash says as he throws the ball forward and sends in Seismitoad. When the mon appears, he has a smile on his face and is ready to battle as Jake speaks.
"Ash's next Pokémon is Seismitoad will it be able to defeat Tad's Dusknoir?!" Jake says as back on the battlefield Ash speaks.
"Let's do this Seismitoad!" "Pika!" Ash along with Pikachu say with Seismitoad nodding as he along with Dusknoir get into battle stances. Cissy calls for the battle to continue as Tad speaks.
"Dusknoir use Shadow Ball!" Tad calls. Dusknoir creates a ball of shadow energy and fires it at Seismitoad as Ash speaks.
"Seismitoad knock it away then use Sludge Bomb!" Ash calls. Seismitoad swings out his right arm and easily knocks the Shadow Ball away causing it to crash into a nearby wall. Seismitoad then takes a deep breath and fires out multiple poison bombs towards Dusknoir as Tad speaks.
"Dusknoir blow them away with Shadow Punch!" Tad calls. Dusknoir points both of its fists forward and fires out 2 fists of shadow energy that easily blow pass the Sludge Bombs and head for Seismitoad as Ash speaks.
"Seismitoad block then use Poison Jab!" Ash calls. Seismitoad brings up his arms and blocks the shadow punch as there's then an explosion. Out of the explosion Seismitoad jumps forward, covers his right hand in poison and goes to jab Dusknoir as Tad speaks.
"Dusknoir counter with Shadow Punch!" Tad calls. Dusknoir covers its left fist in ghostly energy and collides with Seismitoad's right hand. When the 2 mons collide, they begin pushing each other back and forth trying to see who's stronger. As they continue to do that Seismitoad takes a deep breath as Ash speaks.
"Now Seismitoad use Toxic!" Ash calls. Before Tad can tell Dusknoir to dodge Seismitoad spits out a toxic blob that hits Dusknoir in the face and begins to make the mon cough as it's now poisoned Ash speaks.
"Seismitoad use Venoshock!" Ash calls. Seismitoad fires out a stream of poison out of his mouth that hits Dusknoir causing damage to the mon as Tad speaks.
"Dusknoir use Shadow Punch!" Tad calls. Dusknoir covers its right fist in ghost energy and punches Seismitoad hard in the stomach sending the mon a few feet away as he crashes back on the battlefield. A couple seconds later Seismitoad stands back up and looks at Dusknoir as Tad speaks.
"Dusknoir use Shadow Ball!" Tad calls. Dusknoir suffers from poison damage but then creates a big ball of ghostly energy and is about to throw it as Ash speaks.
"Seismitoad use Screech!" Ash calls. Seismitoad takes in a deep breath and fires out a loud Screech that not only hurts Dusknoir's and Tad's ears but also the people in the crowd as well. Back on the battlefield As Seismitoad continues to Screech Dusknoir's starting to lose concentration on its Shadow Ball as Tad speaks.
"Dusknoir fire the attack!" Tad yells with Dusknoir nodding as it's about to throw the ball forward Ash speaks.
"Seismitoad use Hydro Pump!" Ash calls. As Seismitoad continues to Screech he then fires out a large stream of water that manages to hit and consume Dusknoir before it could throw the ball. Dusknoir's sent flying going past Tad and crashing into the wall behind him as Tad speaks.
"Dusknoir!" Tad calls in worry as when the Hydro Pump disappears Dusknoir is stuck in the wall. A couple seconds later Dusknoir falls on its stomach and is knocked out as Cissy speaks.
"Dusknoir's unable to battle Seismitoad's the winner!" Cissy calls allowing for Ash, Pikachu, and Seismitoad to cheer. The crowd along with Ash's friends cheer too. Back at Oak's ranch Delia, Mr. Mime, Oak, Daisy, Rose, and Ash's Pokémon cheer too. Back on the battlefield Ash looks at Seismitoad and speaks.
"Great job Seismitoad let's keep going just like this!" Ash says with Seismitoad nodding. Meanwhile, with Tad he returns Dusknoir back to its Pokeball and tells the mon thank you. Tad then looks forward pulls out his next Pokeball and speaks.
"Your Seismitoad is indeed strong Ash but let's see how it'll deal with this one. Goodra come out!" Tad says as he throws the ball forward and sends out a Goodra. When the mon appears, it lands on the battlefield and lets out a mighty roar creating a shockwave showcasing its power. Once the mon is done roaring it looks at Seismitoad and has a serious look on its face with Seismitoad having the same look as Ash speaks.
"So, a Goodra's his next Pokémon and it looks stronger than Joe's. Seismitoad be careful!" Ash says with the mon nodding as he along with Goodra get into battle stances. Cissy then calls for the battle to continue as Ash speaks.
"Let's go first Seismitoad use Screech!" Ash calls Seismitoad lets out a loud Screech that heads for Goodra as Tad speaks.
"Goodra use Protect!" Tad calls Goodra quickly summons a protective barrier and blocks the move. When it does Seismitoad instantly appears in front of Goodra as Ash speaks.
"Now Seismitoad use Poison Jab!" Ash calls. Before Tad can call for a command Seismitoad covers his right hand in poison and jabs Goodra hard in the stomach making the mon cough in pain and back up a little bit. Once Goodra gets a good enough distance away it begins to cough as it's now poisoned which makes Ash smile as he speaks.
"Good job Seismitoad now use Venoshock!" Ash calls Seismitoad fires out a large stream of poison that heads for Goodra as Tad speaks.
"Counter with Dragon Tail then use Rain Dance!" Tad calls. Goodra covers its tail in green dragon energy spins around and destroys the Venoshock. After that Goodra then roars to the sky causing the once clear sky to become cloudy as it then begins to rain Ash speaks.
"Rain Dance? Why did he use Rain Dance when it's only going to increase Seismitoad's water type moves." Ash says to himself as he then looks over at Goodra and sees it glow green as its poisoned status goes away. Ash has a surprised look on his face as Tad speaks.
"The reason I called for Rain Dance was so Goodra could get rid of its poison status thanks to its ability Hydration." Tad says as Ash speaks.
"So, that's why" Ash says to himself as back in the stands Hau speaks.
"What's Hydration?" Hau asks as Rinto speaks.
"Hydration is an ability where if the user uses Rain Dance, they'll be able to get rid of their status condition." Rinto answers with Hau nodding as Cameron speaks.
"This means that now Ash can't have Seismitoad use Toxic as Goodra will just heal itself." Cameron says with the others nodding. Back on the battlefield Ash begins to think.
"Even though Seismitoad can't poison Goodra now that it's raining his water type moves will be stronger, so we'll go with that." Ash says to himself as he speaks.
"Seismitoad let's keep going use Hydro Pump!" Ash calls. Seismitoad takes a deep breath and fires out a large Hydro Pump that's powered by the Rain Dance. The move heads for Goodra as Tad speaks.
"Goodra use Protect then Curse!" Tad calls. Goodra quickly summons a protective barrier and begins to block the Hydro Pump. As Goodra's blocking its body glows and it can feel as though its physical attack and defense power have increased. Once Goodra does that it can see that its barrier is starting to crack as Tad speaks.
"Goodra use Power Whip!" Tad calls. Goodra nods as its 2 antennas glow green then shoots them forward. The two antennas easily cut through the Hydro Pump and hit Seismitoad hard in the stomach causing super effective damage. Seismitoad coughs in pain as Tad speaks.
"Good job Goodra now use Absorb!" Tad calls with Goodra nodding as its two antennas wrap around Seismitoad's body and begin to suck his energy making Seismitoad groan in pain as Ash speaks.
"Seismitoad use Scald on Goodra's antennas!" "Goodra let go of Seismitoad then use Power Whip and Dragon Pulse!" Both trainers' call. When Seismitoad fires out the hot stream of water Goodra quickly unwraps its antennas making sure that the Scald doesn't hit them. Goodra's antennas then glow in green grassy energy and hit Seismitoad causing super effective damage to him. Goodra then covers its mouth in purple draconic energy and roars firing out a large Dragon Pulse that heads for Seismitoad as Ash speaks.
"Seismitoad look out!" Ash calls but was too late as the Dragon Pulse connects with Seismitoad creating an explosion as Ash speaks.
"Seismitoad!" Ash calls in worry as when the smoke clears everyone can see Seismitoad laying on his back groaning in pain. Seismitoad tries standing back up but ultimately stays down as Cissy makes the call.
"Seismitoad's unable to battle Goodra's the winner!" Cissy calls allowing for Tad and Goodra to cheer along with the crowd. Over with Ash he's sad that Seismitoad lost but then returns the mon back to his Pokeball. Ash looks at the ball telling Seismitoad thank you then puts the ball back on his belt. Once he does that Ash looks forward and thinks.
"Tad's Goodra's tough I'll need to use a Pokémon that not only has speed but can also do super effective damage to Goodra and you're the perfect one for that." Ash says to himself while looking at his next Pokeball as he then looks forward and goes to throw it.
"Flygon, I choose you!" Ash says as he throws the ball forward and sends out Flygon. Once Flygon appears she lets out a mighty roar then lands on the battlefield and has a serious look on her face as she looks at Goodra with the mon looking back at her Jake speaks.
"Ash's next Pokémon is Flygon we're now going to see a battle between two Dragon type Pokémon!" Jake says as in the crowd Misty speaks.
"Ash's using Flygon next" Misty says as Tracey speaks.
"He's probably hoping that with Flygon's speed she'll be able to not only dodge Goodra's attacks but also deal a lot of damage to it as well." Tracey says with the others nodding. Back on the battlefield Ash looks at Flygon and speaks.
"Flygon let's get revenge for Seismitoad!" Ash says with Flygon nodding as she roars at Goodra Tad speaks.
"Goodra don't let them beat you!" Tad says with Goodra nodding as it roars back at Flygon. A couple seconds later the two dragons then get into battle stances and stare at each other as Cissy speaks.
"Let the battle continue!" Cissy calls as both trainers speak.
"Use Dragon Pulse!" The two boys call as the two dragons cover their mouths in purple draconic energy and roar sending out 2 large dragon beams at each other which collide creating an explosion as Ash speaks.
"Now Flygon use Dragon Rush!" Ash calls as out of the smoke appears Flygon who has her body covered in dragon energy and is heading for Goodra as Tad speaks.
"Goodra use Acid Armor!" Tad calls. Goodra's body gains a red aura and can feel that its physical defense power has increased. A couple seconds later Flygon then hits Goodra causing damage to the mon as Ash smiles and speaks.
"Yes!" Ash says happily but his smile doesn't last for long as he sees that Goodra barely looks like it's taken any damage. Ash has a surprised look on his face as Tad speaks.
"Looks like it's our turn to attack. Goodra use Blizzard!" "Flygon quick fly in the air to dodge!" Both trainers' call. Goodra roars and summons a massive Blizzard that goes to hit Flygon, but the dragon quickly flies high in the air and dodges the attack. Tad looks in the air and has a smile on his face as he speaks.
"Now Goodra use Draco Meteor!" Tad calls "It knows Draco Meteor!?" Ash says in surprise as Goodra roars and fires out a purple orb of dragon energy high into the air. Once the orb gets high enough it then explodes sending out multiple large purple meteors that head for Flygon as Ash speaks.
"Flygon dodge!" Ash calls. Up in the air Flygon begins to dodge the meteors by flying around and is doing a great job. As Flygon continues to do that Tad speaks.
"Goodra use Dragon Pulse!" Tad calls. Goodra roars and fires out a large purple draconic beam that heads for Flygon as Ash speaks.
"Flygon look out!" Ash calls allowing for Flygon to quickly dodge the attack, but when she does, she then gets hit by one of the Draco Meteors which sends her crashing back on the battlefield and when Flygon lands the other meteors land too as there's then multiple explosions. Ash gets a concerned look on his face as he speaks.
"Flygon!" Ash calls in worry as when the explosions stop there's now a big cloud of smoke covering the entire battlefield, and the Rain Dance goes away. Everyone continues to look at the battlefield as when the smoke clears, they can all see Flygon laying on her stomach groaning in pain as Ash speaks.
"Flygon are you okay?!" Ash asks with the dragon nodding as she then stands back up, looks at Goodra and begins to pant heavily as Ash begins to think.
"I wasn't expecting that Draco Meteor to do so much damage to Flygon if things keep going on like this Flygon's going to lose. What can I do? Ash says to himself and begins to think about what he can do next. As Ash's thinking he remembers his battle in the Kanto league against Ritchie and how he used Gobi to trap Noivern in a Sandstorm. Once Ash remembers that he gets an idea.
"Yes, maybe that can work" Ash says to himself as he looks over at Flygon and speaks.
"Flygon I just thought of something hang in there!" Ash says with Flygon nodding as she continues to pant Tad speaks.
"Seems like you have an idea but before you do it Goodra will take down your Flygon. Goodra use Dragon Pulse!" Tad calls. Goodra lets out a roar and fires out a large Dragon Pulse that heads for Flygon as Ash speaks.
"Flygon dodge then fly towards Goodra!" Ash calls with Flygon nodding as she manages to easily dodge the Dragon Pulse and begins flying towards Goodra. As Flygon's getting closer Tad speaks.
"Goodra when Flygon gets close enough use Blizzard!" Tad calls with Goodra nodding as it takes in a deep breath and waits for Flygon to get closer. As Flygon's getting closer Tad speaks.
"Do it now Goodra!" "Flygon dodge and start flying around Goodra!" Both trainers' call. Goodra lets out a mighty roar and summons a big Blizzard that goes to hit Flygon, but the dragon manages to narrowly dodge the attack. Flygon then begins flying around Goodra making the dragon look at it as Tad speaks.
"Goodra follow Flygon's movements and when you see an opportunity use Dragon Pulse!" Tad says with Goodra nodding as it begins to follow Flygon's movements. As Flygon continues flying around Goodra the dragon continues looking at Flygon and keeps looking until it sees its chance and goes to fire the Dragon Pulse as Ash speaks.
"Flygon use Sandstorm and keep flying around Goodra!" Ash calls with Flygon nodding as she lets out a roar and summons a sandstorm that consumes Goodra and makes the mon stop using Dragon Pulse as Ash speaks.
"Now Flygon keep flying around the Sandstorm and use Dragon Rush to speed up!" Ash calls with Flygon nodding as she covers her body in dragon energy and continues flying around Goodra going faster and making the Sandstorm spin around Goodra more as Tad speaks.
"Goodra use Rain Dance to break out of there!" "Oh no you don't! Flygon use Screech!" Both trainers' call. Before Goodra can use Rain Dance Flygon lets out a loud Screech that hurts Goodra's ears and makes the mon stop. Goodra can feel its physical defense decrease and also gets some sandstorm damage as well as Ash speaks.
"That's it Flygon now keep using Screech!" Ash calls with Flygon nodding as she continues to use Screech while flying around lowering Goodra's physical defense more. Back in the stands Cameron speaks.
"What's Ash doing?" Cameron asks as Misty speaks.
"Wait this move it's similar to the one Ritchie's Flygon used against Ash's Noivern in the Kanto league." Misty says as Leaf speaks.
"But instead of having just Flygon spin around Goodra and letting the Sandstorm damage it Ash's having Flygon also use Screech to lower Goodra's physical defense. Also, Goodra can't break out because since Flygon continues to spin around with Dragon Rush she's letting the sand hit Goodra causing damage and making it seem like Goodra's stuck in a vacuum." Leaf says with the others nodding as they continue to watch. Back on the battlefield Flygon continues flying around Goodra while also screeching too as Ash speaks.
"That's it Flygon keep going!" "Pika!" Ash along with Pikachu cheer with Flygon nodding as she continues flying around Goodra. Inside the sandstorm Goodra continues to not only be spun around but is also taking Sandstorm damage and feels that its physical defense getting lower. Over with Tad he has a frustrated look on his face then speaks.
"Goodra it's time to break out of there! Use Blizzard!" Tad calls. After Goodra takes some Sandstorm damage again it lets out a mighty roar summoning a big Blizzard that begins to freeze the sand and heads for Flygon as Ash speaks.
"Flygon dodge!" Ash calls with Flygon nodding as she quickly flies in the air to avoid the attack but some of the Blizzard does hurt her as Tad speaks.
"Now Goodra use Dragon Pulse!" Tad calls. Once Goodra manages to stop spinning it looks at Flygon and roars firing a big Dragon Pulse that connects with Flygon creating an explosion as Ash speaks.
"Flygon!" Ash calls in worry as out of the smoke Flygon appears and falls back on the battlefield as Tad speaks.
"Okay Goodra use Dragon Pulse one more time!" Tad calls with Goodra nodding as it fires the attack. Before the Dragon Pulse connects with Flygon Ash quickly calls for a command as the Dragon Pulse lands and creates a big explosion creating a cloud of smoke as Tad smiles and speaks.
"Heh that should've done it" Tad says to himself while having a confident look on his face as he along with everyone else look forward. Once the smoke clears everyone can see that Flygon isn't there, which surprises Tad as he speaks.
"What?! Where'd it go?" Tad says to himself as Ash smiles and speaks.
"Now Flygon use Dragon Rush!" Ash calls as out from underneath Goodra appears Flygon who's covered in dragon energy and rams her head hard into Goodra's stomach causing super effective damage. Goodra coughs in pain as Tad speaks.
"I see so before the Dragon Pulse landed, he had his Flygon hide underground with Dig" Tad says to himself as Ash speaks.
"Flygon before Goodra can counter send it high into the air!" Ash calls with Flygon nodding as she roars and begins pushing Goodra flying the mon high into the air as Jake speaks.
"Don George, do you have any idea on what Ash's doing?!" Jake asks as Don George speaks.
"I'm not sure" Don George responds as they along with everyone else continue watching Flygon push Goodra high into the sky. Flygon continues to do that as Ash speaks.
"Okay Flygon that's high enough now use Boomburst!" Ash calls with Flygon nodding as she roars and sends out a large wave of sound out of her mouth that hits Goodra's stomach and sends the mon further high into the air. Then when the Boomburst is gone Goodra begins to fall as Tad speaks.
"Goodra fall towards Flygon and use Blizzard!" Tad calls with Goodra nodding and just when it's about to use the move Ash speaks.
"I thought you'd do that. Flygon use Screech!" Ash calls. Flygon roars letting out a large Screech that connects with Goodra and makes the mon stop. Goodra continues to feel its physical defense decrease as Ash smiles and speaks.
"Okay Flygon it's time to end this! Use Dragon Pulse!" Ash calls. Flygon lets out a roar and fires a big Dragon Pulse that heads for Goodra as Tad speaks.
"That's not going to work! Goodra dodge then use Dragon Tail!" Tad calls. Goodra manages to easily dodge the dragon beam then continues heading for Flygon and covers its tail in green dragon energy as Ash smiles and speaks.
"Actually, Tad this is going to work. Flygon use Draco Meteor then block with Dragon Claw!" Ash calls surprising Tad as Flygon continues to roar there's an orb that's going through the Dragon Pulse until it reaches the top. Then once it makes it to the top the head of the Dragon Pulse explodes and what replaces it are multiple large purple draconic meteors that head for Goodra. Speaking of Goodra the mon goes to hit Flygon with its tail, but Flygon quickly brings up her arms covers them in green dragon energy and blocks the attack. Flygon's sent crashing back on the battlefield while Goodra looks up and sees the meteors heading for it as Tad speaks.
"Goodra quick use Protect!" Tad calls but unfortunately for Tad Goodra can't use Protect in time as a meteor then hits Goodra and sends the mon crashing back on the battlefield with the other meteors following it. After that there are multiple explosions on the battlefield along with a strong wind as Tad speaks.
"Goodra!" Tad calls in worry as a couple seconds later the explosions along with the wind stop. When they do everyone looks forward waiting for the smoke to clear and when it does, they all see Goodra (laying on its back) and Flygon (laying on her stomach) groaning in pain as Jake speaks.
"Both Goodra and Flygon have suffered damage are they both knocked out?!" Jake says as Don George speaks.
"No look it seems like they can still fight" Don George says as everyone looks at the 2 mons and see that they're trying to stand back up as Tad and Ash speak.
"Goodra come on stand up!" "Flygon you can do it!" "Pika!" Both trainers along with Pikachu cheer the 2 mons on. As the 2 mons continue to struggle standing back up Goodra was almost there but then falls back down while Flygon stands up completely and is panting heavily. Flygon looks over at Goodra and sees the mon laying on its back not wanting to stand up anymore as Cissy speaks.
"Goodra's unable to battle Flygon's the winner!" Cissy calls making Ash smile as he speaks.
"Way to go Flygon!" "Pika!" Ash along with Pikachu cheer while Flygon roars in victory. In the stands Ash's friends along with the crowd cheer loud too. Back at Oak's ranch Delia, Mr. Mime, Oak, Daisy, Rose, and Ash's Pokémon let out a loud cheer too with the dragon types cheering the loudest. Back on the battlefield Tad returns Goodra back to its Pokeball and tells the mon thank you. Once he does that Tad pulls out his next Pokeball and speaks.
"Aggron you're up next!" Tad says as he throws the ball forward and sends his Aggron back in. When the mon appears, it lets out a mighty roar and looks at Flygon with Flygon looking at it as Ash speaks.
"So, Aggron's back out" Ash says as he looks at Flygon who's panting heavily then begins to think.
"Flygon's not going to last much longer but she should be able to do some damage to Aggron" Ash says to himself as he looks at the dragon and speaks.
"Flygon are you okay to still battle?" Ash asks with Flygon letting out a roar that tells Ash she is with Ash nodding. Flygon then gets in a battle stance with Aggron doing the same. Cissy calls for the battle to continue as Ash speaks.
"Flygon use Earthquake!" Ash calls. Flygon stomps her right foot hard on the battlefield causing it to shake as Tad speaks.
"Aggron jump in the air to dodge then use Stone Edge!" Tad calls. Aggron quickly jumps high in the air and dodges the Earthquake. Once it does Aggron creates multiple sharp stones around itself and fires them at Flygon as Ash speaks.
"Flygon counter with your Stone Edge then use Boomburst!" Ash calls. Flygon roars as she creates multiple sharp stones around herself and fires them forward causing them to collide with Aggron's Stone Edge creating multiple explosions. Then when all of the sharp stones are gone Flygon roars and fires out a big wave of sound out of her mouth that heads for Aggron as Tad speaks.
"Aggron knock it away with Iron Tail then use Flash Cannon!" Tad calls. Aggron covers its tail in steel energy spins around and knocks the Boomburst away causing it to crash on the battlefield and create an explosion. Aggron then lands on the ground and fires out a steel beam from its mouth that heads for Flygon as Ash speaks.
"Flygon dodge then use Flamethrower!" Ash calls. Flygon quickly flies in the air and dodges the steel beam. Flygon then covers her mouth in fire and fires out a big stream of fire that heads for Aggron as Tad speaks.
"Aggron counter with Stone Edge!" Tad calls. Aggron summons a large sharp stone and throws it forward causing it to collide with the stream of fire. The sharp stone easily goes through the Flamethrower and is about to hit Flygon as Ash speaks.
"Flygon dodge!" Ash calls. Flygon quickly avoids the attack and when she does Tad speaks.
"Now Aggron use Rockslide!" Tad calls. Aggron lets out a roar as it summons a portal above Flygon's head and out of it appears large boulders that hit Flygon causing her to fall towards the battlefield as Tad speaks.
"Aggron finish it with Head Smash!" Tad calls. Aggron lets out a roar as it covers its body in blue energy and shoots forward heading for the still falling Flygon. Just when Aggron's about to hit Flygon Ash speaks.
"Flygon quick use Screech then Dig!" Ash calls. Before Aggron hits Flygon the dragon looks at Aggron and roars letting out a loud screeching sound that hurts Aggron's ears and stops the mon in its place. Aggron can feel its physical defense power decreasing as Flygon then quickly digs underground. Flygon doesn't stay underground for long as she appears from underneath Aggron and upper cuts the mon with her left fist causing super effective damage to Aggron as Tad speaks.
"Aggron hit Flygon back with Iron Tail then return!" Tad calls. Aggron groans a little in pain but then covers its tail in steel energy spins around and slams its tail hard into Flygon's stomach making the mon cough in pain as she's then sent crashing back on the battlefield. After that Tad quickly returns Aggron back to its Pokeball as he then pulls out another Pokeball and speaks.
"Poliwrath come out!" Tad says as he throws the ball forward and sends out a Poliwrath who's wearing a championship belt. The mon has a serious look on its face as Ash speaks.
"So, a Poliwrath's his last Pokémon and that belt" Ash says as Tad speaks.
"Poliwrath use Ice Beam!" Tad calls. Poliwrath quickly fires out an icy beam at Flygon as Ash speaks.
"Flygon dodge!" Ash calls. Flygon quickly moves to the right and dodges the attack as Tad speaks.
"Poliwrath grab Flygon and use Circle Throw!" Tad calls with Poliwrath nodding as it quickly jumps forward and grabs Flygon by the tail. Poliwrath spins Flygon around fast then throws her back down on the battlefield causing her to crash land on her back. Flygon groans in pain as Tad speaks.
"Poliwrath finish Flygon off with Ice Punch!" "Flygon dodge!" Both trainers' call. Unfortunately for Ash Flygon's unable to dodge in time as Poliwrath quickly shoots downward, covers its left fist in ice and punches Flygon hard in the stomach causing super effective damage and making the mon cough in pain as Ash speaks.
"Flygon!" Ash calls in worry. Back on the battlefield Poliwrath stands up and looks at Flygon who's unconscious showcasing that she can't battle anymore as Cissy speaks.
"Flygon's unable to battle Poliwrath's the winner!" Cissy calls allowing for Tad and Poliwrath to cheer. The crowd lets out a cheer too as Leaf speaks.
"Flygon did well but Poliwrath was just too much for her." Leaf says as Tracey speaks.
"And don't forget Flygon did just get done battling Goodra and Aggron too, so it makes sense that she went down fast." Tracey says with the group nodding. Back on the battlefield Ash returns Flygon back to her Pokeball and tells the mon thank you. Then when Ash puts her Pokeball away he sees Tad return Poliwrath back to its Pokeball and sends Aggron back in who lets out a roar as Ash thinks.
"Aggron's back out which means it's your turn" Ash says while looking at his next Pokeball as he then looks forward and speaks.
"Arcanine, I choose you!" Ash says as he throws the ball forward and sends Arcanine back in. Once the dog appears he lets out a bark and has a serious look on his face with Aggron having the same look as Tad speaks.
"So, you brought your Arcanine back out that's not surprising" Tad says as Ash speaks.
"Well, Arcanine does have a type advantage so it makes since" Ash responds as Tad speaks.
"Don't think that just because your Arcanine has the type advantage means that you'll beat my Aggron" Tad says as Ash speaks.
"Don't worry I know" Ash responds with Tad nodding as their Pokémon get into battle stances. Cissy calls for the battle to continue as Tad speaks.
"Aggron use Roar!" Tad calls with Aggron nodding as it lets out a mighty roar Ash speaks.
"We're not falling for that again! Arcanine use Dig to dodge!" Ash calls. Arcanine quickly digs underground and dodges the Roar move. Aggron can feel Arcanine moving underneath the ground as Tad speaks.
"Aggron dodge then use Head Smash!" Tad calls with Aggron nodding as just when Arcanine appears from out of the ground Aggron quickly backs away. Aggron then covers its body in blue energy, shoots forward and hits Arcanine causing super effective damage. Arcanine's sent flying as he crashes back down on the battlefield a few feet away Ash then speaks.
"Arcanine!" Ash calls in worry as when the dust clears Arcanine's groaning in pain but then stands up, shakes his head and looks at Aggron. Both Ash along with Arcanine can see that Aggron didn't take any recoil damage from the Head Smash as Ash speaks.
"His Aggron has the Rock Head ability" Ash says as Tad speaks.
"Yep, that's right meaning that Aggron won't take any recoil damage" Tad says with Ash nodding as he speaks.
"Well, that's fine with us. Arcanine use Flamethrower!" Ash calls. Arcanine covers his mouth with fire and fires out a large stream of fire that heads for Aggron as Tad speaks.
"Aggron use Stone Edge!" Tad calls. Aggron creates a large sharp stone and shoots it forward causing it to easily cut through the Flamethrower and head for Arcanine as Ash speaks.
"Arcanine dodge then run forward and use Fire Blast!" Ash calls. Arcanine quickly jumps to the right and dodges the sharp stone. After that Arcanine begins running towards Aggron and fires out a big blast of fire out of his mouth that heads for Aggron as Tad speaks.
"Aggron destroy it with Rockslide!" Tad calls. Aggron roars and summons multiple large boulders around itself and throws them at the Fire Blast easily destroying the move as they now head for Arcanine Ash speaks.
"Arcanine dodge then use Fire Fang!" Ash calls. As Arcanine continues to run he sees the large boulders coming and easily evades them. Then when Arcanine's done dodging the boulders he jumps forward heading for Aggron. Arcanine covers his teeth in fire as Tad speaks.
"Aggron counter with Rock Smash!" Tad calls. Aggron's left fist glows red and roars as it along with Arcanine collide creating an explosion. Out of the explosion appears the 2 mons who manage to slide away from each other. Arcanine manages to stop himself as Ash speaks.
"Arcanine use Fire Blast then use Dig!" Ash calls. Arcanine covers his mouth in fire then fires out a big blast of fire that heads for Aggron. After that Arcanine quickly digs underground. Over with Aggron it's managed to stop itself too as it looks forward and sees the Fire Blast coming as Tad speaks.
"Aggron destroy it with Stone Edge!" Tad calls. Aggron roars and throws a large sharp stone at the Fire Blast creating an explosion. A couple seconds later Arcanine appears from underneath Aggron and hits the mon causing super effective damage. Arcanine then begins to cover his mouth in fire as Ash speaks.
"Now Arcanine use Flamethrower!" Ash calls. Arcanine lets out a roar as he fires out a point-blank Flamethrower at Aggron which consumes the mon and making it cry out in pain as Tad speaks.
"Aggron use Superpower!" Tad calls. Inside the fire Aggron roars as it bulks up its body, appears out of the fire, and punches Arcanine hard in the face causing damage and sending the mon flying back a few feet away. Arcanine then lands back on the battlefield as Ash speaks.
"Arcanine!" Ash calls in worry as when the dust clears Arcanine's laying on his stomach and is groaning in pain as Tad speaks.
"Aggron it's time to finish this use Head Smash!" Tad calls. Aggron lets out a loud roar as it covers its body in blue energy and shoots forward heading for Arcanine. Jake then speaks.
"Seems like this is the end for Ash's Arcanine is there anything that he can do?!" Jake says as he along with everyone else continue watching Aggron getting closer to Arcanine Ash smirks and speaks.
"Yes, there is." Ash says as he calls for his next command.
"Arcanine use Extreme Speed to dodge!" Ash calls surprising Tad as when Aggron's about to hit Arcanine the dog suddenly disappears and dodges the attack. Aggron has a confused look on its face but then suddenly gets hit in the face by Arcanine making the mon groan in pain as Tad speaks.
"Aggron hit Arcanine back with Superpower!" "Arcanine use Extreme Speed to dodge!" Both trainers' call. Aggron looks at Arcanine and goes to hit him with its left fist. But Arcanine disappears and hits Aggron's left side and sends Aggron sliding back a few feet away as Ash speaks.
"Great job Arcanine now use Howl then Raging Fury!" Ash calls. Arcanine lets out a loud howl increasing his physical attack power. Arcanine then covers his body in an intense fire and begins running forward heading for Aggron as tad speaks.
"Aggron counter with Head Smash!" Tad calls. Aggron roars as it covers its body in blue energy and shoots forward as it collides with Arcanine. When the 2 mons collide, they begin pushing each other back and forth trying to see who's stronger. As they continue to do that Arcanine roars and manages to overpower Aggron by breaking through its Head Smash and hitting the mon causing damage. Aggron's sent sliding back a few feet away as Ash speaks.
"Okay Arcanine it's time to end this use Fire Blast!" Ash calls. Before Tad can call for a command Arcanine fires out a big blast of fire out of his mouth that hits Aggron. Inside the fire Aggron roars in pain as Tad speaks.
"Aggron!" Tad calls in worry as a few seconds later the fire disappears and Aggron falls on its back. Everyone looks at Aggron and see that it's knocked out as Cissy speaks.
"Aggron's unable to battle Arcanine's the winner!" Cissy calls making Ash smile.
"Alright!" "Pika!" Ash along with Pikachu cheer while Arcanine lets out a howl in victory. In the stands the crowd along with Ash's friends let out a loud cheer. Back over at Oaks ranch Delia, Mr. Mime, Oak, Daisy, Rose and Ash's Pokémon cheer too with the fire/rock types cheering the loudest. Back to the stadium Tad returns Aggron back to its Pokeball and tells the mon thank you. Tad then looks over at Ash and speaks.
"I've to say this battle has been pretty fun it's been a while since someone's given me this much of a challenge." Tad says as Ash speaks.
"No problem and my Pokémon along with myself are enjoying this battle too" Ash responds with Pikachu and Arcanine agreeing making Tad smile as he speaks.
"I'm happy to hear that but even though this battle has been fun I'm not going to lose" Tad says as he gets a serious look on his face pulls out his final Pokeball and speaks.
"Poliwrath Go!" Tad says as he throws the ball forward and sends his Poliwrath back in. When the mon appears, it has a serious look on its face then punches its fists together and looks at Arcanine with Arcanine looking at it as Ash begins to think.
"Here it is" Ash says to himself as he looks at Arcanine and speaks.
"Let's keep going Arcanine!" Ash says with Arcanine nodding as he along with Poliwrath get into battle stances. Up in the stands Barry speaks.
"Why's Ash keeping his Arcanine in against Poliwrath?" Barry questions as Misty speaks.
"You'll see" Misty responds with Barry nodding as they continue to look at the battle. Back on the battlefield Cissy calls for the battle to continue as Ash speaks.
"Okay Arcanine let's go! Use Extreme Speed!" Ash calls. Arcanine barks as he shoots forward at blinding speed heading for Poliwrath as Tad speaks.
"Poliwrath block!" Tad calls. Poliwrath quickly brings up its arms and blocks Arcanine's attack. The force of the Extreme Speed sends Poliwrath sliding back a few feet away, but it manages to stop itself and looks at Arcanine as Tad speaks.
"Poliwrath use Hydro Pump!" Tad calls. Poliwrath fires out a big stream of water that heads for Arcanine as Ash speaks.
"Arcanine dodge then use Stone Edge!" Ash calls. Arcanine quickly jumps to the right and avoids the Hydro Pump. Arcanine then summons multiple large sharp stones around himself and fires them at Poliwrath as Tad speaks.
"Poliwrath use Surf!" Tad calls. Poliwrath lets out a mighty roar and summons a large wave of water that easily gets rid of the Stone Edge's and heads for Arcanine as Jake speaks.
"Tad's Poliwrath has used Surf will Ash be able to have his Arcanine dodge in time?!" Jake says as everyone continues to see the Surf heading for Arcanine Ash smiles and speaks.
"Dodge? Sorry but Arcanine isn't going to dodge" Ash says as he looks at the dog and speaks.
"Arcanine run forward!" Ash calls with Arcanine nodding as he begins running forward heading for the Surf which surprises everyone as Jake speaks.
"Ash's having his Arcanine run towards the Surf just what could he be planning?!" Jake says as everyone sees Arcanine getting closer to the Surf Ash smiles and speaks.
"Okay Arcanine it's time to use your new move. Use Wild Charge!" Ash calls with Arcanine nodding as he covers his body in electricity and enters the Surf. Now that Arcanine's in the Surf he's easily running through it which surprises everyone as Ash speaks.
"That's not all! Arcanine use Extreme Speed to speed up!" Ash calls with Arcanine nodding as he uses a combination of Extreme Speed and Wild Charge. Arcanine shoots forward at blinding speed exiting the Surf and successfully hits Poliwrath causing super effective damage to the mon. Poliwrath groans in pain as Jake speaks.
"Ash's Arcanine just landed a devastating blow on Tad's Poliwrath!" Jake says as Don George speaks.
"And if you look at Arcanine it seems like it hasn't taken any recoil damage meaning that it has the rock head ability" Don George says as in the stands Tracey speaks.
"So, that's what Ash had planned" Tracey says as Hau speaks.
"Wow that was amazing!" Hau says with Cameron, Barry, Tracey, Misty, and Leaf agreeing with him as they all continue to cheer. Meanwhile, with Nemona and Rinto they have smiles on their faces as they're also impressed with Ash's strategy. Back on the battlefield Tad has a surprised look on his face but then quickly recomposes himself and speaks.
"Poliwrath quick use Dynamic Punch!" Tad calls. Poliwrath quickly recomposes itself too and before Ash can call for a command Poliwrath's right fist glows and punches Arcanine hard in the face. Arcanine's sent flying and crash lands on the battlefield a few feet away creating a dust cloud as Ash speaks.
"Arcanine!" Ash calls in worry as when the smoke clears everyone can see Arcanine laying on his left side and is knocked out. Cissy then makes the call.
"Arcanine's unable to battle Poliwrath's the winner!" Cissy calls allowing for Tad and Poliwrath to cheer. Ash's sad that Arcanine lost but returns the mon back to his Pokeball and tells him thank you. Back in the stands Cameron speaks.
"Arcanine's down" Cameron says as Hau speaks.
"And now Ash's also down to his last Pokémon I wonder who it is." Hau says with the others being curious too as we now come back to the battlefield. On the battlefield Ash puts Arcanine's Pokeball back on his belt and when he does that he looks over at Tad and speaks.
"I've to say your Poliwrath's really strong" Ash says as Tad speaks.
"Thank you back at home he won a tournament which made him champion" Tad says as Ash speaks.
"So, that explains the belt" Ash says with Tad nodding as Ash smiles and speaks.
"Well even though your Poliwrath's a champion I'm sure that my next and final Pokémon can beat it" Ash states while holding his next Pokeball as he goes to throw it.
"Rhyperior, I Choose You!" Ash says as he throws the ball forward and sends out Rhyperior. Once Rhyperior appears she lands on the battlefield causing it to shake and lets out a mighty roar creating a shockwave that showcases her power. Once Rhyperior's done roaring she looks at Poliwrath and has a serious look on her face with Poliwrath having the same look. Back in the stands Hau speaks.
"Ash's final Pokémon is Rhyperior" Hau says as Rinto speaks.
"This puts Ash at a type disadvantage but he probably has some way for Rhyperior to defeat Poliwrath" Rinto says with the others nodding. Back on the battlefield Tad speaks.
"Your last Pokémon is a Rhyperior? That was a bad choice since my Poliwrath's type is super effective against it." Tad says as Ash speaks.
"That may be true but after battling my Arcanine should you really be counting on having the type advantage?" Ash asks as Tad speaks.
"You're not wrong there so I'll just have Poliwrath defeat your Rhyperior fast" Tad says with his Poliwrath agreeing with him as it gets in a battle stance Ash speaks.
"Well see about that. Let's do this Rhyperior!" "Pika!" Ash along with Pikachu say with Rhyperior nodding as she gets in a battle stance too. The 2 mons along with their trainers are now looking at each other as Cissy speaks.
"Both trainers have one Pokémon left this is the final battle! Whoever defeats their opponent first will be declared the winner!" Cissy says with everyone nodding as she continues to speak.
"Now let the battle continue!" Cissy says and when she does Tad speaks.
"Hydro Pump Poliwrath!" Tad calls. Poliwrath fires out a large stream of water that heads for Rhyperior as Ash speaks.
"Rhyperior use Hammer Arm!" Ash calls. Rhyperior's right arm glows in white energy and swings it easily knocking the Hydro Pump away. When Rhyperior does that Poliwrath suddenly appears in front of her as Tad speaks.
"Use Dynamic Punch!" "Rhyperior block!" Both trainers' call. Poliwrath's right fist glows and goes to punch Rhyperior but the drill Pokémon quickly brings up her left fist and blocks the attack as Tad speaks.
"Poliwrath hit Rhyperior with your other fist!" "Rhyperior counter with Hammer Arm!" Both trainers' call. Poliwrath's left fist glows while Rhyperior's right fist glows the 2-mons roar at each other as their fists collide creating an explosion. Out of the explosion the 2-mons appear and are sliding away from each other as Ash speaks.
"Rhyperior use Stone Edge then Dig!" Ash calls. Rhyperior manages to stop herself as she creates a large sharp stone and throws it forward. Rhyperior then quickly digs underground. Over with Poliwrath the mon sees the sharp stone coming as Tad speaks.
"Poliwrath dodge!" Tad calls. Poliwrath manages to stop itself then quickly jumps right and avoids the attack. Then when Poliwrath lands it feels something moving underneath its feet as Ash speaks.
"Rhyperior use Hammer Arm!" Ash calls as out from the ground appears Rhyperior who uppercuts Poliwrath with her left fist causing damage to the mon as Tad speaks.
"Poliwrath use Circle Throw!" Tad calls. Poliwrath nods as it quickly grabs Rhyperior's left arm with both of its hands then begins to spin the mon. As Poliwrath continues to spin Rhyperior it then throws Rhyperior making the mon crash back down on the battlefield causing super effective damage. Poliwrath then begins to take a deep breath as Tad speaks.
"Use Hydro Pump!" Tad calls. Poliwrath fires out a large stream of water that heads for Rhyperior as Ash speaks.
"Rhyperior use Dig!" Ash calls. Rhyperior sees the Hydro Pump coming and quickly digs underground dodging the attack. When Poliwrath lands it can feel Rhyperior moving underneath the ground and is about to resurface as Tad speaks.
"Poliwrath dodge then use Hydro Pump!" Tad calls with Poliwrath nodding as it quickly jumps back when Rhyperior appears from underneath it. Then before Ash can call for a command Poliwrath fires out a large stream of water that consumes Rhyperior causing her to cry out in pain as Ash speaks.
"Rhyperior!" Ash calls in worry as the Hydro Pump sends Rhyperior a few feet away causing her to land back on the battlefield. When the Hydro Pump disappears Rhyperior's laying on her back groaning in pain as Ash speaks.
"Rhyperior are you okay?!" Ash asks with Rhyperior nodding as she manages to stand back up and when she does, she begins to pant a little bit as Tad speaks.
"Okay Poliwrath it's time to end this. Use Surf!" Tad calls. Poliwrath roars as it summons a large wave of water that heads for Rhyperior as Jake speaks.
"The Surf's coming fast what will Ash do?!" Jake says as everyone sees the Surf getting closer to Rhyperior Ash smiles and speaks.
"Rhyperior I just thought of something. Use Stone Edge!" Ash calls with Rhyperior nodding as she summons a large sharp stone in front of her up in the stands Tracey speaks.
"Why'd Ash have Rhyperior summon a Stone Edge?" Tracey questions with the others wondering too as Rinto speaks.
"I'm not sure but if he has a plan, he better do it now as the Surf's getting closer" Rinto says as back on the battlefield the Surf's getting closer to Rhyperior as Tad speaks.
"It's the end for your Rhyperior!" Tad says while having a smile on his face as Ash smiles too and speaks.
"Sorry Tad but it isn't. Rhyperior punch the Stone Edge forward with Thunder Punch!" Ash calls with Rhyperior nodding as she covers her right fist in electricity and punches the sharp stone. When she does the electricity that was on Rhyperior's fist is transferred onto the stone and is covering it in electricity as it easily pierces through the Surf. Everyone has surprised looks on their faces as the now electric sharp stone keeps going until it hits Poliwrath creating an explosion as Tad speaks.
"Poliwrath!" Tad calls in worry as when the smoke clears everyone can see Poliwrath groaning in pain as Ash speaks.
"Yes, it worked!" Ash says happily as up in the stands Tracey speaks.
"Ash knew that the Stone Edge wasn't going to be able to pierce through the Surf by itself, so he had Rhyperior use Thunder Punch." Tracey says as Rinto speaks.
"The electricity from the Thunder Punch covered the Stone Edge making it able to pierce through the Surf and hit Poliwrath" Rinto says with the group nodding as Cameron speaks.
"Wow I never would have thought of anything like that" Cameron says as Misty speaks.
"Yep, that's Ash he always comes up with crazy ideas" Misty says with the others nodding. Meanwhile with Nemona she has a big smile on her face and continues to watch the battle. Back on the battlefield Poliwrath continues to groan in pain as Ash speaks.
"Rhyperior let's keep up the pressure! Use Drill Run!" Ash calls. Rhyperior nods as she becomes a drill and shoots forward heading for Poliwrath as Tad speaks.
"Poliwrath dodge then use Dynamic Punch!" Tad calls. When Rhyperior goes to hit Poliwrath the mon quickly moves to the right and dodges the attack. Poliwrath's left fist glows and uppercuts Rhyperior sending her high into the air as Tad speaks.
"Poliwrath use Hydro Pump!" Tad calls. Poliwrath fires out a large stream of water that heads for Rhyperior as Ash speaks.
"Rhyperior use Thunder Punch!" Ash calls. Rhyperior sees the Hydro Pump coming, covers her right fist in electricity and punches the move easily destroying it. When Rhyperior does that Poliwrath appears in front of her as Tad speaks.
"Use Circle Throw Poliwrath!" Tad calls. Poliwrath grabs Rhyperior's right arm then begins to spin fast. Poliwrath continues to spin until it throws Rhyperior and causes her to crash land on the battlefield creating a dust cloud as Ash speaks.
"Rhyperior!" Ash calls in worry as when the dust clears Rhyperior's laying on her stomach groaning in pain but then stands back up as Ash speaks.
"Rhyperior above you!" Ash calls making Rhyperior look up in the air as she sees Poliwrath falling towards her with its fists ready as Tad speaks.
"Use Dynamic Punch!" "Rhyperior dodge then use Drill Run!" Both trainers' call. Poliwrath's fists glow and goes to punch Rhyperior with its left fist but Rhyperior quickly backs away causing Poliwrath to punch the battlefield instead. Once Rhyperior gets a good enough distance she becomes a drill and shoots forward heading for Poliwrath as Tad speaks.
"Poliwrath stop Rhyperior!" Tad calls. Poliwrath sees Rhyperior coming and holds out its hands causing Rhyperior to collide with them and forcing Rhyperior out of her drill state. After that Rhyperior along with Poliwrath then get into a grapple and begin trying to overpower the other with Rhyperior winning the exchange as Tad speaks.
"Poliwrath Hydro Pump!" Tad calls and when Poliwrath goes to use the move Ash speaks.
"Rhyperior use Mega Horn!" Ash calls surprising Tad as Rhyperior's horn glows in green bug energy and jabs Poliwrath before it can even use Hydro Pump. Poliwrath then gets out of the grapple as Tad speaks.
"Poliwrath use Counter!" Tad calls. Poliwrath's body gets a red aura that goes into its right fist. Poliwrath looks at Rhyperior and roars as it punches the mon hard in the stomach making Rhyperior cough in pain as Ash speaks.
"Rhyperior hit Poliwrath back with Thunder Punch!" Ash calls. Rhyperior nods as she covers her right fist in electricity and punches Poliwrath hard across the face causing super effective damage as Ash speaks.
"Okay Rhyperior now use Rock Wrecker!" Ash calls with Rhyperior nodding as she raises her hands above her head and begins creating a large boulder as Tad speaks.
"We won't let you! Poliwrath use Surf!" Tad calls with Poliwrath nodding and just when it's about to use the move it stops as electricity begins flowing throughout the mons body. Tad has a surprised look on his face as he speaks.
"Poliwrath's paralyzed!?" Tad says while having a shocked look on his face. Poliwrath continues trying to move but can't and this allows for Rhyperior to finish charging up the Rock Wrecker as Ash speaks.
"Rhyperior it's time to finish this! GOOO!" "Pika!" Ash along with Pikachu yell as Rhyperior roars and slams the large boulder hard onto Poliwrath's head creating a big explosion along with a strong wind as Tad speaks.
"Poliwrath!" Tad calls in worry as when the wind stops everyone sees a big cloud of smoke covering the entire battlefield. Everyone looks forward anxiously waiting for the smoke to clear and when it does, they see Rhyperior panting heavily (in her recharge phase) while looking at Poliwrath who's laying on its stomach. Cissy looks at Poliwrath and sees that the mon can't battle anymore as she then makes the call.
"Poliwrath's unable to battle Rhyperior's the winner! Seeing as contestant Tad has no more Pokémon left contestant Ash is the winner and will move onto the next round!" Cissy says as Jake speaks.
"And there it is everyone after an intense battle Ash will move onto the next round!" Jake says as the crowd begins to cheer and back on the battlefield Ash smiles and speaks.
"We Did It!" "PIKA!" Ash along with Pikachu cheer while Rhyperior roars in victory. In the stands Ash's friends cheer too as Misty and Leaf speak.
"He did it!" The two girls say happily as Tracey speaks.
"It was touch and go there for a little bit, but Ash managed to win" Tracey says with the group nodding as they continue to cheer. Over at where Drake is he's impressed that Ash won and has a smile on his face. Back at Oak's ranch Delia, Mr. Mime, Oak, Daisy, Rose, and Ash's Pokémon let out a loud cheer with the rock and ground types cheering the loudest. Back to the stadium Ash along with Pikachu run over to Rhyperior and when they make it to her, they wrap her in a hug and speak.
"Great job Rhyperior I knew you could do it!" "Pika!" Ash along with Pikachu say with Rhyperior nodding. After that Arcanine, Flygon, Seismitoad, Kingler, and Heracross come out of their Pokeball's. Ash looks at the 5 mons and speaks.
"You guys did great too!" Ash says making the 5-mons happy as they also congratulate Rhyperior making the mon smile. Over at where Tad is at, he's both sad/surprised that he lost but then smiles and returns Poliwrath back to its Pokeball. When he does that, he looks at the ball, tells Poliwrath thank you, then puts the ball away as he then walks forward. While Ash continues to celebrate with his Pokémon, they notice Tad walking over to them and stop. When Tad gets close enough, he looks at Ash and speaks.
"Well looks like it's my loss it was a great battle, and I wish you luck in the next round" Tad says as he holds out his hand. Ash looks at Tad smiles, grabs his hand and speaks.
"Thank you and my Pokémon and I enjoyed the battle too" Ash says with his Pokémon nodding making Tad smile as the 2 boys then shake each other's hands. Once they do that Don George speaks.
"Let's all give one more round of applause to Ash and Tad!" Don George says as the crowd begins to cheer/clap for the 2 boys making them smile and wave. After that Ash returns his Pokémon other than Pikachu back to their Pokeball's as he along with Tad begin heading out of the battlefield. When Ash makes it to the trainer hall his friends/rivals are there and congratulate Ash making the boy happy. Once that's done a few hours pass and more battles happen until it's nighttime. Now that it's nighttime we come over to Pummelo Stadium and see the trainers who won their battles on the battlefield looking at the stage that has Jake along with Don George on it as Don George speaks.
"Congratulations on making it to the next round all of your battles today were great" Don George says with the trainers nodding as Jake speaks.
"Now please look at the screen to see who your next opponent is and which stadium you'll battle in" Jake says as he presses a button and the images on the screen begin to randomize. A few seconds later the images stop moving and reveal who each trainer will battle as Don George speaks.
"Please look at the screen to see who your next opponent is" Don George says as the trainers begin looking at the screen Cameron speaks.
"Looks like I'm battling in Stadium 1" Cameron says with Rinto saying the same thing as Hau speaks.
"I'm in Stadium 2" Hau says with Nemona saying the same thing as Barry speaks.
"My battle will be in Stadium 3" Barry says as Ash speaks.
"Looks like I'm still battling in Stadium 4 and I'm going up against a girl named Roxie" Ash says as he looks over and sees a girl with short white hair and is carrying a guitar while having a smile on her face as Jake speaks.
"Now that you've all found your opponent's and seen which stadium you'll be battling in please get some good rest tonight so that you're all ready for your battles for tomorrow." Jake says with the trainers nodding as they begin heading out of the stadium. Once Ash meets up with Misty, Tracey, and Leaf he says goodnight to Nemona, Rinto, Barry, Hau, and Cameron as they go to their hotels to rest while the group heads back to the Pokémon Center. When the group makes it to the center, they're in their room and sitting on their beds as Ash speaks.
"Whew today was exhausting" Ash says as Misty speaks.
"Well, you did have a pretty intense battle" Misty says with Ash nodding as Leaf speaks.
"By the way Ash who're you battling tomorrow?" Leaf asks as Ash speaks.
"I'm battling this girl named Roxie" Ash responds with Leaf nodding as Tracey speaks.
"Roxie? Tell me was she carrying a guitar with her?" Tracey asks as Ash speaks.
"Yeah, she was why do you know her?" Ash asks as Tracey speaks.
"Well not personally but if this is the Roxie I'm thinking about then Ash you're going to be facing the Virbank City Gym Leader tomorrow." Tracey says surprising the group as they speak.
"She's a Gym Leader?!" Ash, Leaf, and Misty say while having surprised looks on their faces with Tracey nodding as Misty speaks.
"Why's a Gym Leader competing in the Orange League?" Misty asks as Tracey speaks.
"My guess is that she's probably here to improve herself." Tracey responds with Misty nodding as Leaf speaks.
"Wait if she's a Gym Leader then we should be able to know what kind of Pokémon she uses." Leaf says with Tracey nodding as he speaks.
"According to my notebook she mainly uses poison type Pokémon." Tracey says with the group nodding as Misty speaks.
"Then that means that Ash will have to use Pokémon that're super effective and immune to poison type Pokémon." Misty says as Leaf speaks.
"But don't forget she is a gym leader, so she probably has ways to deal with her Pokémon's weaknesses." Leaf says with Misty nodding as Ash speaks.
"Well, that's fine with me because it'll make the battle not only more challenging but also exciting." Ash says while having an excited look on his face with Pikachu agreeing with him. The others look at them and nod as Tracey speaks.
"So, Ash do you want us to help you in selecting which Pokémon you want to use tomorrow?" Tracey asks as Ash speaks.
"Sure" Ash says as after that they begin to strategize on what Pokémon Ash should use for his battle tomorrow and when they're done with that they go to bed as the chapter ends.
