Previously
Once the tub was full of water and bubbles, he helped eri undress and get in the tub, where he helped her wash, getting the seawater, bits of seaweed and the sand off her body.
Now
On the day of the entrance exam, izuku was ready to leave, but he was having a bit of a problem. "Eri, please, let go. I need to take my entrance exam," he asked her. "NO! I want daddy to stay here," eri denied, as she clung to her father's leg with an adorable look of determination. Izuku sighed, as he pinched the bridge of his nose. "Alright, eri, you can come with me," he said. Eri literally beamed with happiness at that, but izuku was not done. "However, for the physical portion of the exam, you CANNOT do this, as i do not want you to get hurt, understood?" izuku asked her. Eri nodded and released his leg and held her arms up, prompting izuku to chuckle with mirth, he picked her up and began to carry her, much to her joy. "We'll be back soon, mom," izuku called out, before he and eri left.
Once at the gate, eri looked at the building in amazement. Chuckling, izuku walked through the entrance (managing to miss the uneven bit) and entered the building and sat in his assigned seat, before he set eri in his lap. A few girls that saw him enter the room with her saw how close the girl was with him, so they were unable to contain themselves and cooed at the sight. Others, on the other hand, were talking amongst themselves, debating about whether izuku abducted the child.
Izuku and eri paid no attention to the whispers (although they had slight looks of pain on their faces at the cooing of the girls, which was rather high pitched). Izuku simply had his left arm curled around eri, while eri herself cuddled into her daddy and his warmth. Beside them, katsuki grumbled about 'useless deku's, useless brats and cavity-inducing sweetness'. Once the written exam was finished, they had to wait a few minutes before the room darkened and a spotlight appeared on a blonde man who's hair was in a backward scythe style and had a directional speaker on his neck.
'SHIT!' izuku thought to himself and pulled out a pair of earplugs and put them in eri's ears, prompting her to look at him in confusion. "Don't worry, my little unicorn. You will thank me for this, later," he smiled at her before he put the plugs in her ears, blocking all sound from entering her ears. "WHAT'S UP PEOPLE, CAN I GET YEAH?!" he practically yelled at the top of his lungs. He noticed that most of the people in the room with him winced at the volume, but then something hit him in his forehead. "WAH?!" he yelled out in surprise as he fell. He shook his head from the pain and looked at the item that hit him, which turned out to be a baseball, much to his surprise. He got up and saw a student with wild green-black hair scowling at him, and the guy had a little girl in his lap, much to his shock.
"Present mic, i don't know about the others in this room, but can you PLEASE dial down your obnoxiously loud volume?!" the student hopeful with the child yelled at him. "In fact, i would not be surprised if your loudness could be heard all the way to tokyo," he added at the end. Mic winced at that, before he continued with the presentation. "Right, my bad," he said at a normal volume as he rubbed the back of his head sheepishly.
Izuku nodded once, before he pulled out the earplugs from eri's ears, much to her relief. "He loud," eri said bluntly. Izuku chuckled at what his daughter said, not even paying attention to the presentation, as he had read the pamphlet. "That's because of his quirk and support equipment, eri," he said as he pat her head. "In addition, you with the unkempt hair," a voice said, causing izuku to look up at his surroundings, seeing a boy with dark blue hair and glasses, glaring at him. Izuku looked around in confusion, before he pointed at himself. "Yes, you, why are you not paying attention to the presentation?! In addition, why did you bring a child to the entrance exams?! If this is a joke to you- *whack* OW!" the guy said, clutching his nose in pain.
The reason he was in pain is because izuku had grown tired of his self righteous attitude and thrown a heavy eraser at the guy, getting him to stop. "Now that you are quiet, stiff boy, here are your answers. First, this exam is not a joke to me. Second, i had read the entire pamphlet, so there was no need to pay attention to present mic telling me what i already knew. Third, this child is my adoptive daughter, and she didn't want to be left behind, while i went to this exam. Finally," izuku glowered at him. "You should sit down, shut up and let present mic finish the presentation, which you had rudely interrupted," izuku ordered him. The stiff boy sat down stiffly, blushing with embarrassment as the rest of the student hopefuls laughed at him.
A few minutes later, izuku took eri to recovery girl, so she could watch eri. Eri tried to let her daddy carry her to the physical portion of the exam, but he reminded her what he said before they left the apartment, and recovery girl said that the physical portion of the exam is no place for children. So, izuku was right to leave her there, where it was mostly safe. So, izuku went to the area he was supposed to go for the physical portion of the exam. He performed some stretches, so he didn't get a cramp, when he saw a brunette with a perpetual blush looking close to panicking. He moved towards her, but a hand clamped onto his shoulder, but he just grabbed it and twisted it, releasing his shoulder. Once he got to the girl, he forced her to focus on him and spoke to her in the calm tone he uses for eri. "Alright, it's fine to be nervous, but that will be counterproductive and will more than likely make you fail. So take a few deep breaths, then slowly release, until you are calm," he told the girl. The nervous girl focused on him and followed his directions, helping her calm down. "Better?" he asked in a kind tone while smiling at her. "Much, thank you," she said, her blush getting a bit darker.
The gates to the area opened, mic yelled out "GO!" and izuku's lightning semblance surged around him and he took off into the city. "Hah, what a loser," "i know, right?" "he didn't wait for the countdown," "wait, didn't the proctor say 'go'?" the exam takers said. "what are you all waiting for? There are no countdowns in real life! A few students already had the right idea! Go, go, go," mic yelled out, getting their attention. The exam takers froze for a few moments, then rushed past the gate en-masse, prompting mic to chuckle at that. "Always happens every year," he said as he watched the test takers.
With izuku, a few moments ago
Izuku had blitzed into the area for the entrance exam, lightning semblance surrounding him, when he encountered his first foe. "Target locked. Destroy- *crash*" was as far as it got, before izuku smashed a fist through the bot, leaving it twitching on the ground. He ran to a pack of densely packed bots and saw that they were surrounding an examinee with tired eyes and a mess of purple hair, before twin shortswords appeared in each hand, and he charged at them.
With the teachers
The room is dark, while several monitors were showing the entrance exams, while giving off their own soft light. "This year's student hopefuls sure are something, wouldn't you agree?" one shadow asked. "Indeed, sir," another said. "Oh, some of these boys and girls turn me on," another purred. "Cut that shit out, or do you want ANOTHER lawsuit levied on you?" a tired voice asked, causing the previous to wince. Just then, the door opened, letting in six people. "Ah, team rwby, recovery girl and a small child. What are you doing here?" a small, yet deep voice asked. "We wanted to see the next batch of hopefuls, not sure about recovery girl," weiss answered with respect. "It's simply closer here than in my medical room, and this child wanted to watch her father," recovery girl said, pointing at the small child holding ruby's hand.
"Very well, just do not make a fuss," the first voice said. Team rwby sat in their own chairs, while eri was on blake's lap, who simply pat her head, causing eri to preen. After watching the screens for a bit, the first voice spoke up. "Well, it has been nine minutes, i think it's about the time to release the zero pointers," the first voice cackled. One of the other shadows reached forward and lifted a glass covering, before pushing the big red button.
With izuku
Izuku landed on the back of a three pointer and stabbed down into it's back with his shortswords, causing it to short out and fall to the ground, before he pulled out his swords and panted in exhaustion. "Alright, that should be enough points, although i lost track after 40," he said as his swords and semblance faded away. Just then, the ground rumbled, causing him and the other participants to almost lose their balance. "Whoa, what the hell is happening?" he asked himself. He got his answer when he felt the light from the sun get blocked by something massive. He looked up and stupidly stared at the gargantuan zero pointer. THAT'S as massive as a fucking 12 story building! Izuku thought to himself, as the participants in his area ran past him in fear. The stiff boy from earlier looked at him in disappointment, before he continued running. Izuku had just turned to run as well, before he heard something.
"Ow," a pain filled voice yelled. Izuku froze and saw that it was the nervous girl from the gate. He saw that the zero pointer was about to crush her. With a snarl, izuku's lightning semblance surged back out and he raced towards the zero pointer. To avoid the rubble in his path, he ran horizontally on the buildings, before he jumped to in front of the girl and simply JUMPED.
In the darkened room
Most of the audience leaned forward as they watched what izuku would do, while ruby looked particularly excited, as she was about to vibrate out of her chair.
Near izuku
A pair of red eyes glowed with maliciousness and ill intent as the owner of said eyes watched izuku with interest.
With izuku
There's no damn way i can do this safely, so i'll need to go all out with what i CAN do, izuku thought to himself, before he held out his hands to one side and created a massive warhammer made out of his lightning semblance, a look of furious determination on his face.
In the darkened room
Weiss is looking really interested in what izuku will do. "Normally, you must run from the zero pointers. However, there is opportunity," the small and deep voice said.
With izuku
"MJOLNIR!" izuku yelled as he swung the massive warhammer into the head of the zero pointer, crumpling it from the force, before it fell backwards, as small explosions let off as the insides overheated and exploded.
In the darkened room
The shadows were mostly cheering, as were ruby, yang and eri. Weiss was shocked and surprised at his strength while blake was purring(?) as she stared at izuku's image. Ruby stopped cheering as she noticed something. "Which area is that?" ruby asked. "Area A, why?" the first voice asked. Instead of answering, ruby vanished in a flash of speed and rose petals flowing in her wake.
With izuku
Izuku floated in the air, before he had a realization, as his warhammer faded away. Crap, i didn't think how i'd land, izuku said to himself. And so, he fell, eyes watering from the wind pressure. SHIT! Just gotta hope that my aura can take it, izuku thought to himself, just before he crashed into the ground, causing a large dust cloud to appear, as well as a decently loud *boom* was created from the impact. After a half minute passed, izuku sat up with a groan and a pained "ow, that's gonna hurt tomorrow."
The other exam takers in the area looked in stupefied shock, as they had watched the boy that looked like a rabbit faunus take out the zero pointer and land without so much as a SCRATCH! However, unknown by all and missed by all but one, the red eyed creature silently moved closer to izuku.
In the room
The others in the room were shocked at what happened, but eri was happy that her daddy was uninjured. Just then, the first shadow, who oddly enough, resembled something like a stoat, noticed something moving in one of the monitors, and even that was barely.
With izuku
Izuku managed to get on his feet, before he heard a deep, soul-chilling growl. He froze at the sound and slowly turned towards the source, prompting the others near him to do so as well, before they cried out in shock. Before them was a grimm that had black fur, bone-like spikes coming out of its body at points and looked like a kind of wolf. That's a fucking beowolf! What is it doing here, of all places?! Izuku thought to himself, before he got a closer look at the grimm.
The first thing that izuku saw was that it was FAR larger than a standard beowulf grimm. Not even an alpha is that large, izuku thought to himself. The second thing that he noticed was that the eyes of the beowulf actually showed a lot of intelligence, albeit cruel intelligence. The final thing that izuku noticed is that the teeth of the grimm looked to be an odd mixture of black, red and gold.
Both boy and grimm just stared at each other, eyeing the one opposite them. A few moments later, the unusual beowulf simply vanished for an instant before it clamped its teeth on izuku's collarbone, just shy of his neck, causing him to yell a bit in pain. However, instead of doing what was expected (i.e. ripping the jaws off and giving the fight of his life) izuku simply caressed the face of the grimm. "I don't know why you targeted me but, hopefully, you will have some peace in the afterlife," he said, as he wrapped his arm around the neck of the grimm. Izuku then shaped his other hand into a knife-like shape before using his fire semblance and stabbed his hand into its neck, his fire semblance literally cooking it from the inside out.
Within moments, the grimm was dead, and the body turned into smoke and the grimm's face crumbled into pieces. Izuku's fire semblance went out like it was doused in water, and he wavered before he began to fall backwards as he lost consciousness. He could only vaguely feel hitting something before his vision went black.
With ruby, moments ago
Ruby was running to area A as fast as she could. When she got there, she saw the usual effects of a grimm fading away and her izuku's shoulder and neck area was bleeding heavily. Crying a bit, she raced towards him as he fell backwards and managed to catch him.
3rd POV
Ruby slowly knelt onto her knees and let izuku use her lap as a pillow, much to the envious cries of a midget with purple orbs for hair, before she pressed a clean cloth to where the grimm had bitten him. She proceeded to stroke his hair as she looked at him lovingly. My dear izuku, you are so foolishly brave, ruby thought to herself in exasperation. Just then, recovery girl came up. "Alright, girlie. I need to treat him," recovery girl. Ruby nodded absently, and recovery girl kissed izuku's hand, causing any burns he had gotten to have healed, and the bite marks had healed until there was a tattoo/brand of a bite mark where that grimm had bitten him, with the marks looking similar to black Lichtenberg scars that covered a small amount of his neck and collarbone emanating from the teeth marks. Ruby stared at the mark in surprise.
"Miss rose, perhaps we should get him to my office?" recovery girl proposed, snapping ruby out of her surprise, before she got up and put him on her back as she held his arm to keep him stable, essentially giving him an odd piggyback carry and carrying him to recovery girl's office. Once there, she gently set him in one of the beds and put the cover over him. After she did so, she pulled up a chair and sat next to him and caressed his face.
A few minutes later, a near skeletal man with messy blonde hair with a strand of hair on either side of his face opened the door and walked in, but not before eri had rushed in, climbed on top of the bed and cuddled up to her daddy, before she fell asleep. The blonde skeleton was a bit surprised, but he chuckled at the sight, before he entered the room.
"What's happening, recovery girl?" he asked. "Right now, he's sleeping from the effects of my quirk and whatever that grimm did to him, plus the physical portion of the entrance exam," recovery girl said. "Well, i hope he has a full recovery, then," the blonde man said, before he bowed to her and left the room.
