Managed to get this done earlier than expected so here we have the epilouge.
"Do you feel anything yet?" Knuckles asked. He and Ruby sat cross-legged on top of the the Master Emerald Shrine, the powerful relic glowing behind them. They were both in meditative poses and highly focused. The red mobian had suggested that the fifteen-year-old do some spiritual exercises to establish a better connection with the magic in her soul.
Ruby was a bit surprised to see this side of Knuckles, but the echidna had explained to her that, before he had become leader of the Resistance, he often did something like this in the solitude of Angel Island to strengthen his relationship with the Master Emerald and his spirit.
Much to her delight, the new Fall Maiden could feel that it was actually helping her. Deep within her soul, the source of her Aura and Semblance, resided something new that empowered it. Not only that, it was like it allowed Ruby´s awareness to spread beyond her body into… for a lack of better words, into the sky and its forces.
"I actually feel something!"
"Good." Knuckles briefly paused to think the next steps on how to help Ruby with her new power. "Continue to stay focused. You have compared the Fall Maiden´n Magic to the wind, so do not let this wind blow you away. You control the force, and not it you."
"But how should I do it?"
Again, Knuckles pondered about it until he came up with an interpretation that may help.
"Try to imagine it like this: you suck in air and breathe it out little by little. That should be a good start."
"Um... okay?" Ruby was a bit confused and unsure by the metaphor, but tried it anyway. She closed her eyes got in touch with her magic, the power of the sky… no the weather, but only tried to unleash it little by little. She felt herself coming into harmony with the elements.
A gust of wind picked up, swirling gently around Ruby. Knuckles gave the silver-eyed an impressed and curious side glance but didn't say anything. He could see how deep in concentration Ruby was. Saying or doing anything now might snap her out of it and have unpleasant consequences.
And then Sonic appeared, having speed up the stairs of the altar, and shouted, "Hey guys, I've-"
Ruby screamed as she was torn from her meditative-like state. The wind around her erupted outward and blew Sonic and Knuckles back, the former almost falling down the stairs. The echidna was the first to get back up. His fist was raised in a threatening gesture.
"Sonic! Can't you see we've been busy?"
Said blue hedgehog got back on his feet and held up his hands.
"I'm sorry Knux, really. But I have important news for Ruby."
The silver-eyed girl, her heart still pounding from Sonic´s sudden announcement and her almost blowing her friends away, stood up from the ground and asked, "What is it?"
"Well..." Sonic scratched his head. "It's usually said: Do you want to hear the good news or the bad news? But actually there is no bad news. Just good news and... neutral news."
"Get to the point and stop keeping Ruby waiting," Knuckles said with crossed arms.
"Tails and our hackers were able to find out from Eggman's database the most likely reason why Ruby received the Fall Maiden magic."
Immediately said girl hung on Sonic's every word. Knuckles also listened with interest. The blue speedster continued.
"Do you remember using the Chaos Emerald against Cinder in Metropolis?"
Ruby grimaced at first when she heard the words `Cinder´ and `Metropolis´ together. But then she started to think about what Sonic had said. Attacking her now deceased enemy with a Chaos Emerald…
"Oh yes, I remember! Cinder´s Aura had been unstable and in the hat of battle I used the white Chaos Emerald to pierce it and one of her robotic arms."
"Yes, that´s what the recorded footage we´ve gathered shows as well. I made Tails theorize some bit: What if the Chaos Emerald served as a catalyst, transferring some of the Maiden magic from Cinder to you."
This caused Ruby to blink in surpruse. "Wait what? They can do that?"
Knuckles added his own input to the conversation. "As a matter of fact. In addition to Chaos, or maybe because of it, the Emeralds can also conduct other energies. Sonic, didn't you even say you turned into a werewolf or a werehog because the Chaos Emeralds transferred part of Dark Gaia to you?"
"Yeah, when Eggman tricked me and used me and them to split the world apart."
Ruby stared at Sonic with a WTF! -expression when she heard all of that.
He, however, just continued: "Anyway, you and the rest of the Fall Maiden Magic had a connection. And once the magic was in the Egg Naga, it apparently longed for a more suitable host. Preferably the one who already had some of its power."
The silver-eyed girl stared thoughtfully to the ground. "Huh, now that I think about it, ever since `Operation Big Wave´ I had felt a certain restlessness and a drive in finding Cinder. If Tails´ theory is true then this could be an explanation for why." A cold shiver ran down her spine as she thought about the former Fall Maiden. "I'm glad Cinder didn't know about it tough, otherwise she would have been even worse to me. Probably proclaiming stuff like: `How dare you take even more from me that´s rightfully mine and mine alone!´"
"Aside from how scarily accurate you managed to perform Cyborg-Azula just now," Sonic began. "You are right. But… I guess you don't have to worry about her anymore. Eggman took care of her for better or for worse."
Ruby gave the mobains a conflicted look.
"...is it normal...okay... that I feel relieved about her death? I know that she was a terrible person and stuff. But still, to celebrate the death of someone else… and I have now something that she had used to hurt others."
Knuckles stepped towards her and put a reassuring hand on the human girl´s shoulder. "After everything she put you through, both on Remnant and Mobius, you have the right not to have to worry about her anymore. And the Fall Maiden magic definitely doesn't belong in the hands of a psychopath like her. But I think they'll be in good hands with you. Especially since you show no glee at your enemy´s death. Unlike Cinder would."
Ruby gave Knuckles a hesitant smile. "Really?"
"Really." He said with a nod.
"Even after I just blew you over?"
"Even after you just blew me over. It wasn't your fault that your concentration was interrupted."
Knuckles gave Sonic a glare. The hedgehog raised his hands in apology again. "I'm really sorry, okay?"
His smirk told another story. Knuckles continued to gave him a hard look before the echidna decided to drop it. He sighed.
"Didn't you have another message for Ruby?"
"Right. The good news is that Tails figured something else out. He found a way to Remnant."
After overcoming her slight shock and disbelief, Sonic led Ruby and Knuckles through the corridors of the Resistance base to a room with a mechanical pedestal in the middle. It consisted of the metal and parts of the Egg Naga and held the red gemstone in a mechanical claw. Several cables dug into its cracked surface.
Around it and scattered around the room were several people. Shadow and Zero shared a shady corner to brood, both mobians each leaning on one of the intersecting walls. The latter was bearing some new scars, the most prominent one being one on his chest. A lifelong reminder of his mistake and suffering underneath the Phantom Ruby. The rest originated from the jackal´s fight with Phantom Cinder.
Aside from the Ultimate Lifeform and Mercenary, there were many more familiar and unfamiliar faces around: Silver, the time-traveling hedgehog whose side she had fought from time to time. Lola the girl who saved she from an Egg Cutter with the aforementioned time travelers and her legal guardian, Gadget. Rotor who had helped Tails during their adventure in space. Rouge stood at Omega's side, the robot she had helped reactivate and whose combat readiness rivaled Penny's. Knuckle´s right hand woman for the Resistance, Amy Rose. The four Wisps, Zen, Kurtis, Flare and Strom, whose power had often helped Ruby and her friends until the end. And of course, the very first face that had greeted the silver-eyed girl upon her arrival on Mobius. How confused and scared they both had been at the beginning. But things had changed since then.
Tails stood next to the podium and tapped the Miles Electric. His ears twitched at the footsteps of the new arrivals and he turned around. The fox's face lit up when his blue eyes met her´s and he rushed towards Ruby.
"There you are! How was your time with Knuckles?"
"He did gave some pretty good surprise. But is it true that you did it? To find a way back home for me? And…" Ruby looked around. "What´s with all the people?"
"To see your safe return. Not only have you fought with everyone else to help against the war, but you were the one who dealt the final blow against Eggman."
Ruby fidgeted around in place. Despite everything that happened, all the dangers she had faced, there was still some social anxiety rearing its head when all of these eyes looked at her. Tough not scolding or teasingly or any other negative matter, but with gratitude and even awe.
"I-I… I mean… what about Kurtis and Zen? I never would have won without their help!"
The Wisps just waved their limps. The gesture said more than a thousand words: You´re the one that came up with the plan and even got some bones broken for it. Take the credit. You deserve it.
Tails took Ruby by the hand. "You helped me and some many more people here on Mobius. And we are grateful for it."
"Tails…" Ruby didn't know what to say. She felt her eyes getting misty.
"So know it is time that we help you."
He lead her to the machine he had build. The Phantom Ruby atop of it glowed in a scornful but ultimately weak and pathetic manner.
It was hard to reverse engineer the components of the Egg Naga. Tough I finally managed to build this little wonder at last. And with it-" He tapped some command on the Miles-Electric. "-we can bring you home."
Some mechanism of the pedestal started vibrating.
"Just like that?" Ruby couldn't believe it. After everything, after all the battles and close calls she had. After all the worry and fear she held in her heart over the well being of her friends and family.
She finally could go see them.
Tails gave her an affirmative nod. But there was some sadness in his eyes.
"Yes. However, there is one downside. Because of the damage the Phantom Ruby perceived, any further strain put on it will probably put it over the edge.
Ruby was able to catch on the meaning behind these words.
"Oh… it is a one way ticket, isn't it."
Tails nodded. He added, "We don't need to open the portal now tough, if you want. You can stay here for a while. But you mentioned how much you worry about your people and… I thought I would be better to present you that you finally had a choice."
"And I really want to go home. But… you still need help here. So…"
"Ruby." It was Sonic who interrupted her. When the human girl looked to him the hedgehog gave her an understanding look.
"You have your world to take care of and we got ours. If you want to go then go. No one will hold it against you."
She once again looked around. None of her new friends gave her baleful looks about abandoning them. At most they looked sad. Sad, but with the same gaze of understanding that Sonic had. By now there were definitely tears forming in Ruby´s eyes. She rubbed them away with her sleeve.
"I… thank you." She knelt down and gave Tails a hug. "Thank you for everything."
The fox hugged his friend back. "Your very welcome. And thank you too."
Ruby let go and stood back up. She sniffed but kept her composure.
"Well, I guess there is one thing left to do." She pulled out her scroll. "Anyone up for a group photo?"
"Heh, you´ve been doing these and video records a lot during the last days."
Ruby managed a weak smile. "Of course. How am I gonna proof everything without sounding crazy back home? Mystical Maiden powers are pretty neat, but they still originate from Remnant. Not really the best proof for the existence of other worlds."
And so everyone got together. A Wisp partner of a Residence member took Ruby's scroll and hovered above her and her new friends and acquaintances to bring them all into focus before taking a photo of them all. Then it flew down and gave it back to the Fall Maiden. She looked at the taken picture and smiled. Then she sighed.
"I… I guess it´s time."
Tails opened his mouth, but then closed it again. He nodded. While he was tapping at the Miles-Elecric, Ruby made sure that she got everything: Her scroll, Crescent Rose and… huh, aside from that and her clothes she really didn't have that much. Oh well, spared her the hassle of a rucksack.
She then took one last look at everyone.
"I´m happy to have been part of the Resistance. Despite the terrible things that happened…" Ruby´s scars ached, but only slightly. "…I was able to make a lot of great memories."
Silver eyes briefly meet red ones. Shadow gave Ruby a respectful nod and smile. The human girl returned the gesture and let her gaze wander to the one beside the black hedgehog.
"Hey Zero. I hope you will find some happiness despite everything that happened."
"… thanks, kid. Same goes to you when you get back home. Actually." The jackal quickly walked over to the silver-eyed girl. "While my memories under Infinite´s suppression are blurry at best I managed to recall something from his interactions with Cinder. A name. And from how that usually narcissistic brat said it, it held a pretty high meaning. Probably a boss of her or some sorts."
Tails was getting close to something for the Phantom Ruby glowed against its will and reality glitched. But the silver-eyed Ruby kept her focus on the mobian in front of her.
"What name?"
"Salem."
Purple mist appeared, only to split apart. Trough Null Space everyone saw a glimpse of Remnant.
A forest in early spring. And on a clearing there was a wooden house. Ruby´s eyes widened as she stepped closer toward the portal, putting the info Zero had given to her to the back of her mind for now.
"That is my home. Like, my actually home where I grew up. Dad must be there and maybe… Yang."
Then what are you waiting for, partner?" Sonic gave his fellow speedster a clap on the back. "Don't keep them waiting."
She didn't. Ruby took several steps forward and entered trough the portal her home world. For a brief moment the surreal mist of Null Space surrounded her, the place with which everything started. Then fresh grass crinkled underneath the red soles of her boots. The sun was shining warm over her skin, Remnant´s sun.
Ruby took a deep breath of is air. The smell of Patch´s forest brought back childhood memories. The perfect welcome back from the silver-eyed Maiden´s world. But before she took further steps in it, she glanced back one last time to the one she had spent the last months.
Mobians and humans waved at her. The one closest where Zero, Sonic and Tails. The jackal gave Ruby a serious nod, the blue hedgehog his iconic smile and a thumbs up and the fox pretended to, despite the distance between them, do a fist bump with her. Ruby smiled and pretended to do so as well.
Then the Phantom Ruby cracked audibly and the portal closed, severing the connections between worlds.
"Sayonara Mobius."
Ruby stood there for a while, enjoying the peace and quit of the forest and silently thanking them all again. Then she turned around and moved to her home.
With each step her heart was pounding faster with excitement and fear. The new Fall Maiden´s thought were switching constantly with:
I´m gonna be able to see everyone again!
Please let them be okay. After everything, don't let anyone else have suffered the same fate as Pyrrha.
Quicker than she´s anticipated she was standing in front of the door. Ruby raised her fist to knock, but hesitated. Not only because she was afraid of what she might find out, tough that was also a reason. No, she was hearing voices on the others side.
That sounds like Yang and… Weiss?!
Ruby put her ear to the door. Indeed, that were indeed her sister and her partner talking loudly about something.
With curiosity taking a bite out of Ruby´s fears and anxiety, she was finally able to knock. The talking continued. She knocked louder. It got quit. Steps approached. And then the door was opened…
"Wh-"
Yang´s words died immediately on her tongue when she saw who was standing on the other side. Her eyes widened to the size of dinner plates and her hands was shaking. One hand being organic and the other replaced by a mechanical one. She was missing one from the White Fang´s attack. But other than that she was fine.
Ruby´s sight became blurry.
My sis is fine… I…
Any coherent thought disappeared underneath a mountain of emotions.
"Yang, who is it-" Indeed it was Weiss who Ruby had heard, for the white-haired girl appeared on the blonde´s side. Only to stop talking and share the bigger girl´s expression before their sister/friend jumped at them and pulled them into a tear filled hug.
"Guys! Y-Yang! W-weiss! Y-y-you´re alive!" The fifteen-year-old sobbed.
Felling her solid and warm arms around them, the older girls quickly lost their shock and hugged Ruby back, tears of their own were quickly appearing. Weiss was trying to keep some composure and ask her dolt of a leader where she had been, but… even the former Ice Queen couldn't hold back her relief. Yang just held them tightly with her strong arms, afraid of losing her little sister again. That she would vanish like an illusion. But she was here, they were all reunited.
The commotion got the attention of the two males in the house.
"Girls, are you crying?", asked Taiyang.
"Dammit Yang, I told you interacting with Raven would-"
Qrow didn't finish his sentence. He and Taiyang just looked gobsmacked at who was currently standing at the door frame and held by her two team members. Then they hurried along in joining the group hug.
Tails looked sadly at the place where a few seconds ago the Null Space portal had been hovering. Sonic laid a hand on his brother´s shoulder.
"Hey, I know you will miss her but all things come to an end. And besides: Knowing our lives I´m sure we will run into her again one day."
The last part actually helped to crack up Tails a little.
"You´re not wrong about that. But it definitely won´t be because of it."
He and everyone else looked to the Phantom Ruby. Inside the podium´s grasp it had turned gray and was completely covered in cracks. That weak but persistent evil glow inside the gem gone. Still…
"Zero, want to do the honors?" Tails gestured to the death crystal. At first the jackal was confused. He quickly got the message tough.
"Heh. You´re too nice."
He went to the podium and took out his saber. With a mighty strike he completely reduced the Phantom Ruby to dust. While a bit satisfying…
Zero looked at his gloved hand. He clenched it to a fist.
This still wont bring them back. Nothing will.
He was brought out from his gloom when Shadow appeared on his side.
"Listen, I know what it is to lose someone and be confronted with a world that hates you. But you did the right thing. Only by confronting your past mistakes can you move forward to a new future."
"You say that, but what are my next steps?"
Knuckles turned to Amy and gave her a brief look. She nodded. The echidna walked to the jackals side and offered him a hand.
"Many are still distrustful of you. Even I am a little hesitant to do this after years of getting duped. However, most of us have come to the conclusion to give you ONE chance. Become part of the Resistance and help taking care of the damage Eggman, Cinder and Infinite have done. But make no mistake: We will monitor you. Watch each of your actions closely."
A faint grin appeared on Zero´s face.
"If you wouldn't I´d wonder how the Resistance had managed to remain successful against the Empire. And… and I guess this sound like a pretty good start."
He took Knuckle´s hand. They shook them.
"Then, Zero the Jackal, welcome to the Resistance."
"And after we had one last group photo…" Ruby showed said picture on her Scroll to everyone else. "… Tails activated the Phantom Ruby and landed close by. I knocked on the door and here we are."
The silver-eyed Fall Maiden and her family plus friend were sitting around their dinner table. The former sat at one end and scratched Zwei behind the ears as he lay happily on her lap.
The rest were gathered on chairs at the other end of the dining table, staring at her with wide eyes and open mouths.
Qrow took a drink from his flask.
While the old hunter was busy with his alcohol, Ruby´s father shook of his stupor and asked: "Okay, no, stop. So all this time you´ve been stranded on this world full of humans and anthropomorphic animals. And not Faunus but actual animal people. A world called Moebus."
"It´s Mobius," Ruby corrected.
Qrow finished his sip and laughed roughly. "All these months I looked up almost all of Remnant for my niece. Turns out she was on an entirely different world all this time. Even I don't know what to say to this."
"So… do you believe me?" Ruby asked with a hopeful tone. It would be bitter if all of her accomplishments on Mobius would be written off as a part of her over-active imagination.
Weiss, who looked like she had been trying to formulate words during the last couple of minutes, finally found them.
"I… well, it is hard to believe it. And you have to admit it, Ruby. But," the heiress raised a finger when her friend was about to protest. "You showed us the pictures and videos and also proofed to possess that Maiden magic when you blew Zwei away out of sheer excitement."
This caused Ruby to look down guilty had the dog on her lap. But the corgi was just beaming pure joy at having her back.
"Ruby." Yang began. "Even if my brain is still trying to wrap around with what you just said. But I am proud of you. You fought killer robots that made the Atlesian Paladin look like a tinker toy, Phantom Monsters and even that Grimm and the lunatic that took down Beacon."
Ruby smiled bashfully. "C´mon Yang. I-"
Her sister suddenly stood up, kicking her chair behind her. Her proud smile has been replaced with a red-eyed, furious scowl and her blonde mane lit ablaze.
"AT THE SAME TIME I´M SO MAD AT YOU FOR THROWING YOURSELF INTO A WAR LIKE THAT! DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW WORRIED WE WERE AND THEN WE GET TO KNOW THAT YOU WERE CONSTANTLY ENDANGERING YOURSELF!?"
It was amazing how quickly Ruby, even with a speedster Semblance, transformed from war hero and newest Fall Maiden to a typical teenager who was scared crapless of getting grounded.
Weiss rubbed her ear. "A bit louder than I would have formulate it but true nonetheless."
Ruby gave her a betrayed look while her sister was continuing scolding her. But then her eyes narrowed as she remembered/realized something.
"Wait a minute. What are you doing here, Weiss? Not that I am not happy that you´re here but how? And why?"
The white-haired girl made a bit of an unhappy face and Yang suddenly calmed down, mirroring Weiss´ expression. She picked up her chair and sat down.
"Guys? Everything alright?"
"Obviously not, Ruby. Beacon fell and you just disappeared. We we´re worried about you." Ruby had never heard Yang talk in such a soft and vulnerable voice before. She felt a pang of guilt in her chest, even if getting isekaied wasn't done on purpose on her part, and listened as her big sister talked.
"At first I was a total wreck, you and Pyrrha were gone and I lost my arm. And Blake." A tint of red returned to Yang´s eyes. "She just disappeared. People saw her ran away."
Ruby opened her mouth, but didn't know what to say.
"Finally, after getting some time to recover a little, I decided to search for you. I had a trail that led me to someone I thought could help me find you. Instead…"
"That´s how we crossed paths," Weiss picked up the story. "Blake wasn't the only one that left Vale. My father decided to just take me back to Atlas after everything that happened but I refused to be under his influence any longer. I was worried about you, Ruby. You and the others. So I tried to escape and, well… lets just say I didn't expect to go from one bad example of parenting to another."
"Okay, you lost me a little," Ruby said, missing how Qrow briefly stiffened.
Yang went ahead to answer, but she was interrupted by her father.
"Wait, girls. I know you want to exchange and talk to one another after being separated by force, but I think there is something you need to know. The reason why that Cinder did all of this."
"Tai, are you seriously gonna tell them?" Qrow said in a serious voice as his eyes pierced the father of two. But said father just looked back with a gaze just as hard.
"Qrow, one of my daughters has become a Maiden. On top of her and her friends having suffered from Ozpin´s war. They don't just deserve to know. They need to."
Weiss and Yang shuffled a bit away from the adults.
"Please don tell me there actually was more to Raven´s words."
Ruby looked confused between the four people, they all seemed to be aware of something that she didn't know.
"Wait, I'm not keeping up right now. What are you talking about. Does... does it have something to do with that person that Zero mentioned? Salem?" Qrow flinched. That said more than a thousand words. "It does?"
Everyone was looking at the old hunter with anticipation and curiosity. And in Ruby´s case there was clear confusion. Her uncle pinged the bridge of his nose as he let out a deep sigh, realizing that there really was no way in beating around the bush. The girls were at least somewhat aware and Taiyang was persisting in telling them everything. And he wasn't wrong in that they, after what happened to them, needed to know. Especially Ruby.
Qrow decided to teach his nieces the way Ozpin always did. He began: "What is your favorite fairy tale?"
Somewhere on Mobius there was a cliff far away from any civilization. On that cliff was the hidden entrance to a bunker. The underground complex had smaller production facilities for Badniks and other resources for war machines. But the heart of this place was a chamber in which a cylindrical construct contained the remains of a once very dangerous robot. The individual parts floated in a greenish liquid and various small, insect-like machines and mechanical arms examined and assembled the pieces.
It was the remains of Metal Sonic after he was destroyed by Ruby and Sonic's Chaos Burst. The damage was so severe that Eggman decided to have his masterpiece repaired in peace in this remote location. What's more, the mechanical hedgehog could be constructed into its Neo form without relying on the energies of supernatural gems. This could take months if not years, but it was Eggman's last desperate trump card in the event of his defeat. In the case the Empire falls with him, let his greatest masterpiece rebuild it.
But like mentioned before, it was a process that would take time. And once it was finished it would ultimately be the starting point of something much grander.
And here we are. The end of Forces of Speed. On the Mobian side of things, stuff will continue in a loose sense like to the IDW comics. Biggest difference is that Zero is there.
And there will be no Mr. Tinker.
The reason for this is that there is a certain plot point in one of the IDW comic´s arcs that I´ve decided could work perfectly to start the events of the sequel.
On the Remnant side of things we have Yang still going to Raven´s camp and finding Weiss. And of course Blake having her stuff on Menagerie. But aside from this the canon has completely derailed. One thing I wasn't able to organically built into the conversation was that Beacon and the surrounding area is slowly being rebuilt. Reason for it being in the canon show the petrified Wyvern kept drawing in new hordes of Grimm, making the school a lost cause. Here however that isn't the case since the Wyvern was sucked into Null Space alongside Cinder and Ruby and was then later destroyed by the latter. And of course the is our least favorite pyromaniac who died and now Ruby is the Fall Maiden. Losing one of her biggest game pieces and not knowing anything about Ruby´s return/existence/current condition (something Ozpin´s allies are gonna keep it that way for as long as they can) Salem will withdraw herself to rethink her next steps. Basically, Remnant will have some time of peace and rebuilding. And the people there, especially our heroes, should enjoy it while it lasts. Because shit is about to go down in the sequel: Frontiers of Speed.
When will it be puplished? Honestly, I have no idea when I´m gonna post the first chapter. I am currently busy training for a job in a hospital and it takes a lot of time so we will have to see I guess.
To Guest: I have yet to see it.
To ranjira1988: Oh yeah that was another factor playing into this. But neither Ruby or the mobians new about the transfer aspect of the powers so that´s why Tails didn't include it into his theory.
Yeah, Ruby currently isn't Eggman´s most favorite person.
The rest of the review got some of its answers in this chapter but we will go more in depth with these topics in the sequel.
To Brandonsabillion: Currently she doesn't know. But once she does… she will actually have other things that will keep the main focus of her attention.
To Guest: Thank you. As for your predictions about Eggman, they are kinda true yet kinda false at the same time.
To Haxorusknight75: She already is able to use Chaos Energy via her Aura and the Chaos Emeralds. Although the magic may make things easier.
To Legendary Destroyer Ice: Yes, Ruby has safely returned to Remnant and there have already been some changes. You will get more answers in the sequel.
To EroGekkouga: Things will lean more toward Frontiers.
To Anomalous Skeleton: Thanks a lot for! I´m happy you liked it. As for the typos… yeah, English isn't my native language and this story is partly a self-imposed training in getting to write in it better. I hope to continue to improve will bringing out new chapters and maybe even stories.
To Shadow Driver: As you can see things don't go quite all the way toward V4/5. Qrow, Taiyang, Yang and Weiss thought she were pulling their legs until she showed video proof. The Wisps remained with their rest of their kin on Mobius.
To Grand Chaos Master: Well, only Blake is left out from the news. I´m also sorry if I spoiled and ruined some surprises to you regarding the Super Ruby thing. I just thought, since it seemed to be a problem to you, to inform you ahead in case it could spoil your experience reading.
To quirky2023: Yeah, sometimes the side really goes sideways with its functions.
To Hamm1999: That is something that defiantly is going to happen once they find out.
To SuperSaiyanFever: That it was.
To Haxorus knight: There are. But lets focus on someone that joined the roster recently the sister, if you will, of the guy you mentioned last.
To Ricardo Valencia: I think this chapter answered some of your questions. Time goes the same for both worlds unlike SonicX.
To Monster King: Thank you from being there since the start.
