The first Christmas after their wedding was cold but bright, the snow transforming Watery into a picturesque winter wonderland. Coffee World had closed for the season, but its decorations still sparkled in the evening light, casting a festive glow over the town.

Jaakko and Lena spent the morning in their trailer, exchanging gifts and sharing laughter over cups of hot cocoa. The small space was cozy, the warmth of their love making up for the simplicity of their surroundings.

As they sat together on the couch, Lena leaned her head on Jaakko's shoulder. "There's something I've been wanting to tell you," she said softly.

Jaakko turned to her, his brow furrowing with curiosity. "What is it?"

Lena smiled, reaching for his hand and placing it gently over her stomach. "I'm about two months along."

For a moment, Jaakko stared at her, his mind struggling to process the words. "You mean… we're having a baby?"

Lena nodded, her smile widening. "Yes. You're going to be a dad."

A mixture of emotions washed over Jaakko—joy, awe, and a hint of nervousness. But as he looked into Lena's eyes, all he could feel was love. He pulled her into a tight embrace, his voice thick with emotion. "This is the best Christmas present I could ever ask for."

They spent the rest of the day talking about the future, their plans for the nursery, and the kind of parents they wanted to be. As the snow continued to fall outside, Jaakko couldn't help but feel that their little family was the greatest adventure he could ever embark on.
