At the bottom floor of Areano, two agents were currently guarding some kid the Boss was coming for personally. "What do you think makes rubber so important to Boss?" The other guard just shrugged, "I don't know. Ask the kid." "Ok, hey kid?" Kiwi, hands cuffed in sea prism, just sat there curled up in a ball. 'They chased me through the Calm Belt... they...' he stopped himself from crying, not wanting to in front of some strangers.
"Say, com's been quiet. You think something happened?" Guard 1 shrugged, replying "I don't know. Ask the kid," sarcastically. "Alright, hey ki-" The roof cracked, silencing the room. They took Kiwi and ran over to the side of the floor without a crack above it, just as a pirate captain and Cypher-Pol's number one broke through, Lapis slamming Harmony down on her back. Harmony then grabbed Lapis' neck, flipping her onto her back instead. Lapis just threw her off, and went in for the neck, attempting to slice it.
Harmony had scales appear just in time, but Lapis just striked straight on her cheek, flinging her back towards the other three in the room. The two guards were running for the exit, leaving Kiwi behind, and she fell right behind him. She shakily tried getting up, and Kiwi crawled to her. "M-Miss Harmony! Are you ok!?" She coughed up blood. "N-Never better!" she grabbed him and pulled him out of the way of Lapis' slash. She got herself between him and her, breathing heavily. "You... will not hurt Kiwi. I promise you that right now!"
Lapis just started laughing. "A challenge!? Hell yea!" She immediately went for the side, but Harmony was quick, intervening immediately. Lapis, expecting this, sucker-punched her in the gut and attempted to toss her aside, reaching for Kiwi. Reacting quickly, Harmony grabbed Lapis by the hair, swinging in behind her pulling her back in the process. Lapis screamed in frustration as she slashed at Harmony, but couldn't hit her. Suddenly, she spun, and Harmony threw up her arms to block. But she was faking Harmony out with her tail, which just brushed against her arms harmlessly. She looked out from her guard confused, and saw all four of Lapis' fists in a circle. She couldn't react fast enough to dodge, but turned to rubber last second. "Two Fold! Rokuogan!"
The shockwave pulsated through her chest, shattering her ribs even with the rubber body. It shot out her back into the wall behind her, drilling through it like dirt for about 5 feet before stopping, leaving a huge hole. Harmony couldn't even breathe at the moment, and Lapis just casually lowered her arms. Harmony tried to catch her breath, but the pain was too much, as she started slipping unconscious. Lapis turned towards Kiwi, and walked towards him slowly. "M-Miss Harmony..."
Harmony bit down on her lower lip so hard it broke the skin, the sudden pain keeping her awake. She coughed up an unhealthy amount of blood, and just let out an absolute roar of a scream. It sent shivers down Lapis' spine, and she turned to face Harmony, disbelief being the only thing she felt here. Harmony, completely devastated, stood there, the same determined look in her eyes. Lapis rushed towards her, but then noticed Harmony close her eyes and just smile. A hand the size of Lapis' body came in, absolutely smashing her into the same hole she just made, making it even deeper. Grump dusted off his hands, and carefully picked Harmony up.
"Damn, she got you good!" Julio teased, everyone now safely on board the Nakama. "Whaddya mean... I totally had her!" Harmony pouted. Kiwi just started crying, and everyone turned to him. "Y-you guys... you got so hurt trying to help me... hic... I don't want you guys getting hurt..." Harmony sighed, "Heh... I ain't hurt none!" Kiwi shook his head. "No... sniff... but next time..." he wiped his eyes with his shirt. "Next time, I'll be strong enough to protect myself." Everyone smiled, and the five shared a fist bump, before making their way back to Rumbleton to retry the Grand Line, and drop Traphi and Grump off.
"ugh... my head..." Bob was the first to wake up, and after a minute of walking he found Genkai, also coming to. "what happened to boss?" Genkai scoffed. "Her strength doesn't make her your boss Bob. But yea, lets find her." They made it to the bottom, where she was still unconscious in a hole. "grump musta broke outta the memories. he's the only one who could do that-" He's cut off as the door to the arrival point was knocked. They looked out the doors view port, and saw a black robed figure, and what looked like some boat that travels under water. The arrival point was some underwater cave that lead into Areano's bottom most floor. Genkai let him in, and bowed his head. "Grand master." He didn't bother with pleasantries, and spoke with a terrifying demeanor.
"Where is the kid!?"
"Well it's complica-" The robed man reached out with a rather old hand, but when it gripped around Genkai's neck, he couldn't get free. He gagged as the master asked, this time with no intention of asking again,
"Where is the boy who wields the power Joyboy had!?"
