The Blackmore Cafe's were in full swing.

It had occurred to certain people that neither the Vampires or the Werewolves have had a positive relationship with another intelligent being in over a thousand years, so they were supplemented with the various Elves Leon had bought off back in Holfort who were now working in the capacity as general managers.

"Order up!" They weren't the only non-demons that were working here though.

"Coming!" The five fools plus Marie were all busily zipping around this cafe serving the various guests their meals. Marie apparently had prior experience working in a cafe prior to her own reincarnation but given that it was a bit more 'mature' than a normal Cafe that was not applicable in the new environment she found herself working.

"Excuse me!" Not for the first time today a man with attire reminiscent of a high ranking nobleman entered the cafe.

"Good day sir!" Chris skilfully manoeuvred several treys full of sweets and coffee onto the tables of three people who had already ordered their confections. "How may I help you!"

"You can bring your master out here at once." And not for the first time today, they neglected to order anything instead making demands to see someone who had no interest in seeing them.

"I am sorry sir, but Lord Blackmore is not here right now."

"You insolent-!" Not for the first time today, the 'Envoy' was met with an overwhelming amount of killing intent flooding into every pore of his being from the Cafe. The Vampires and Werewolves might not know much about dealing with humans in a normal matter but scaring the pants off some ignorant humans with too much Ego and not enough brains? That was much easier for them. "I-I Understand." And not for the first time today the poor bastard chose to walk away instead of passing out from fear in front of the cafe. Which suited the lot of them just fine as they didn't want to be the ones to drag them out of the way.

"Careful now. Keep this up and I might actually feel bad for you bastards." Noelle was more than happy to spend the day watching a group of people she doesn't like torture themselves by coming here.

"So how is the Boss doing?" Chris asked as he looked over at the crew.

"I'll go check." Julius had taken on the role of chef, which also meant that he was the one closest to the back room. Entering said back room Julius merely bore witness to the young man who had been laying in the back of the room sprawled out on a couch with a magazine over his face. "He's still out of it."

When a large number of people work together in concert to cast a spell it is called a ritual, when a large number of people gather together to dance it is called a ball.

Thus it is tradition for the Umbran to host the Walpurgis Ball, a massive ritual performed between summoners and summoned on the night that fall turns to winter when the gap between the Trinity of Reality is at it's shortest.

Walpurgis serves many purposes, a send off for fallen souls, a chance to see the departed once more, a celebration for the living and the dead, and to create a protective barrier to separate the world of humans from the lands of monsters.

Participants are required to dress in such a way that they honour the dead, the witches themselves, or the monsters that they bond with and ward against.

Food is present in the form of rune engraved chocolate, candied skulls and mochi made using sacred rice and fruits.

The food is consumed in small amounts before and after the ball, the rest are offered to those on the other side of the Trinity.

Angelica admitted that she wasn't use to the Winter Ball looking quite this ghastly. The windows had been enchanted by Leon's parents to offer clear vision for those looking through them into Purgatorio, seeing the demons and the angels that habitually pass over and fight around the academy, for now they weren't fighting though, a treaty was in place after all.

Angelica was wearing a kimono designed by Jenna, enchanted in such a matter that the silky material shifted and simmered like a open flame in a glass case, Angie had traded in her usual bun in favour of a pony tail, threaded through a crescent shaped hair ornament.

Olivia was leaning more into the extravagant, a silky black dress with long sleeves and knee high boots each of them decorated in such a manner that they resembled bones, especially Olivia's face which had been painted white on black like a skull, with a few decorative lines of pinks, blues and greens and a pair of crescent shaped earrings.

For those who fail to understand subtlety, both girls were dressed in such a way that they resembled their summoned demons, Fenix the Lantern Spirit for Angie, and Mr. Bones the Skeleton for Livia, both girls were also wearing accessories that resemble Leon's horns in demon form.

"Mana generating floor tiling." Angie's heels clicked as she walked across the ground. "With the corresponding Tattoo." Leon and the other members of the clan had a rune carved into their bodies, not just into their skin but deeper into the flesh as well as into Purgatorio, so long as moonlight touches their bodies they will generate a endless supply of mana, and not just them, everyone participating in the ritual had got one too. "And they even used the statue to make sure that everyone would be able to participate in this ritual."

This was important, Angie didn't know how this ritual was important, but it was clear that it was important. The Clan was pulling out all the stops and doing everything that was in their power to ensure that it went off without a single hitch, so Angie would treat it with the same seriousness. Of course there was another reason why she was looking forward to the Ritual.

"Are you ready Angie?" Livia asked tilting her head cutely at Angelica.

"Yes." And so the two of them summoned their partners for the evening, or rather partner. Leon was of course dressed in his default Demon form, a suit woven together from his hair paired nicely with him, both girls held out their hands and Leon took them with glee.

"So we have a light snack first and then we dance...?" Livia started the conversation off with the topic of food as she looked over the Buffet table.

""The Skulls are a send off for the dead. The Mochi is meant as an offering for the gods. The Chocolates are for promoting bonds between partners.""

"Which ones are the Chocolate?" Olivia looked over the array of deserts, she had Mochi back on Yamatai, the Skull candy was rather obvious, so the mini-brown magic circles had to be chocolate. "Are they these?"

""Yes but we should save them for after the dance."" Livia was already eating the Chocolate and Angelica was doing the same. ""Ah damnit."" Both Leon's face palmed.

Both girls suddenly felt very hot under the collar, while they were already attracted to each other and Leon they felt particularly 'in the mood' at the moment with their bodies growing extra sensitive.

"Leon. What exactly is chocolate?" A blushing Angelica asked rather suspicious.

""If I know my sister, a key ingredient in a rather potent stimulate that makes you rather happy and dials up your natural bloodflow."" The Chocolate likely had more to it than that, more spices mixed into the chocolate and fruity centre, Pomegranate most likely, the fruit of the Goddess of Love herself. Livia was the first one to figure out what Leon was talking about.

"It makes us Horny?" Oh yeah, because that was exactly what she needed right now!

""I was trying to explain!"" Surprisingly, the three of them actually kept things together throughout the whole ball, apparently using the strenuous dancing to help burn off the intense energy they were feeling. From outside Luxion was looking through the windows, looking at the people who would only get this one last chance to say good bye to their loved ones.

"Exposing one of their trump cards for something like this?" Luxion has for months been agonising over the Blackmores sure fire invisibility that lets them slip into alternate dimensions and keep an eye on what was happening to people on solid ground, now they had effectively given away a full proof spell that ruined this advantage as easily as breathing onto Luxion's drone camera's. Which either meant the Blackmore Matriarchs were extremely sentimental, or this ritual carries greater importance than he imagines.

Or this hyper significant trump card level ace in the hole was something so utterly irrelevant to the clan of demon summoners that a way around it they didn't care if they knew, frankly the AI hoped for the first, as the latter meant that the concept of a Umbran Trump Card unleashed would likely blow the planet into even smaller chunks than it already was. Or worst. For now the ritual took place, people were assigned different dances based on their affinities and how they mixed together and interacted with each other, mixing together and manipulating one another with the power of natural laws. The ritual reached it's crescendo and across Holfort a barrier had been erected, perhaps it would not be enough to protect them on the physical plain, but it would do against the spiritual.

In the mean time food was slowly disappearing from the table, seemingly dissolving into thin air as the various beings took their offerings. Then as soon as the party was over Olivia and Angelica made off with the tray with the remaining chocolates and dragged Leon off to a private room, as for what they did together, that was none of Luxion's business.

Dear Nick Blackmore,

While on business in your family territory I had the pleasure of seeing your work in action and I admit I was hooked.

I hereby volunteer to act as your personal model in the future, in fact it would be my sincerest pleasure to commission an art project of similar nature to what you were working on, and would like to schedule a appointment during the winter break to work out the finer details.

Sincerely Deidre Fia Roseblade

Among the more well known details of Holfort's culture is the fact that it is, in simple terms, aggressively polygamous.

Rochelle has it's Holy Knights, Alzer it's Sacred Tree, Repard it's Mage Corps, Holfort doesn't have a significant advantage against the theoretically endless tide of monsters that come out of the abnormally high number of dungeons the country has or any of it's neighbours that quite poignantly realise that of the 'big countries' they neighbour Holfort was the weakest.

So to deal with numbers Holfort fights back with numbers.

Traditionally, the head of the house hold is male, and at bare minimum that male has at least two wives for the purpose of producing offspring, taking into consideration the possibility of Natural disasters/monsters/pirates/enemy nation attacks.

It is also common practice to form partnerships between families via Tertiary marriages as well, though there are no Marital obligations beyond the second wife, though who is considered the 'second wife' will change if one of the first two are killed.

A strange practice to most, but to the people of Holfort it is the norm, and more important than that, a necessary tool for survival of the various noble houses.

After a long few hours that were of no concern to anyone, Angelica and Olivia both had been quite satisfied with their personal Leon's underneath the full moon of the night.

"I found that rather satisfying." Is what Angelica said, Olivia on the other hand looked like she was on the verge of passing out, sprawled out across the bed like she was. Angie just covered her with the blanket as she turned her attention to her other partner. Leon was looking out on the moonlight as the clouds moved over the horizon.

"Feeling good?" Leon asked looking over to Angie.

"Actually yes." Angie pressed her housecoat up against her breasts as she walked around to Leon's side. "It almost makes up for the fact that you've been gallivanting around Alzer with other women instead of us." Angie had wanted to come along to Alzer with Leon, as did Livia, but they were forbidden to buy her father and the Queen. The Royal Airship was their ace in the hole, and as far as anyone who has looked at it can tell, Angie and Livia were the only ones who could make the damned thing work for them.

"The only women I've been 'gallivanting around' with are Louise, my cousin, and Noelle who was being threatened." Angie made a frustrated face. "That's your 'I'm about to spout off game non-sense face.'"

"Did you read the transcript from the second game?" Leon shook his head, as if his contempt for the games wasn't already well known. "Noelle is the second game's protagonist, and she comes complete with a Sacred Tree Sapling located somewhere below Alzer."

"So Marie says. But I know the irony of saying this but Magical Divine Saplings don't just grow on trees." Leon turned around to face Angie. "What you know as the Sacred Tree is in fact a Hybrid of different plants from Inferno and Paradiso. It was extremely difficult to breed, cultivate and is unfortunately sterile."

"Which means that even if there is a Sapling in Alzer someone has already been looking after it, and at considerable cost." Angie deduced as she held her chin. "And since you already know all of this..."

"Yeah It's Aunt Celene's work, and she's probably the one who has been looking after the second one from the game." Leon explained with a shrug of his shoulder.

"Even if she wasn't family if your aunt is anything like your mother then she's not someone to make an enemy of." Angelica let out a disappointed sigh as her dreams were dashed.

"If you want one that badly then I'll just raise one for you." Leon stated with a shrug of his shoulders as if it was the most obvious thing in the world to talk about.

"...what?" Angie has having a hard time understanding what she was hearing.

"What? I'm not allowed to get my Fiance an outrageously expensive gift?" Leon looked at Angie as if she was making a strange reaction.

"This isn't a diamond ring we're talking about Leon!" Angie scolded Leon who gave the distinct impression that he wasn't talking about one of the biggest game changers in the entire world.

"Of course not, it's easy to make a diamond ring, but this'll be hard as Inferno and will take a mountain of time and resources." Sensing a conversation Angie didn't want to be made public Angie put up a silence spell on the walls and door so that no one would be able to listen in.

"Explain to me in simple terms what we need in order to make this happen."

Empusa: Tortured Foot Soldiers living in Symbiosis.

When a Qlippoth claims victims they do not pass through the normal cycle of reincarnation.

Instead of the River of Styx the Tree itself wrings all of the negative emotions from its victims, giving birth to a unique species of Demonic Ant known as a Empusa.

The Ants live in symbiosis with the tree, protecting it on ground level and feeding it more victims to feed its power and increase their numbers.

Aside from protecting the Tree itself Empusa are also natural architects and builders, mixing their spit with dirt and stone that they've chewed up and spat back out they create crude concrete with high impact absorbing and compressing power, it is the fate of many Empusa to be 'milked' for their bodily fluids.

Excerpt from Lemegeton's Guidebook of Demons

The Empusa was sent flying down the tunnel, its arm blades cartwheeling through the air as the creature accidentally sliced and slashed through various other Empusa down the tunnel.

The Beowulf was far from the Yamato, but it'll do in a pinch.

For now the Vice Guild Leader continued to lead the purge of the Dungeon's catacombs. Completely purging the dungeon was impossible, but reducing the numbers to the point that they would not pose a serious threat was well within the realm of possibility.

"Which way boss?" One of Vergil's subordinates asked as the white haired man read through the map.

"Left. We need to avoid the Rault's manor, unless you wanna be the one who pisses the witch off?" Last year they came dangerously close to Celene's personal Greenhouse, he had no idea what she was keeping in there but whatever it was it's worth breaking both of his arms over. As Vergil was thinking that he saw something he didn't expect to see again. It was a silvery bird resembling a Condor, its body emitting faint but obvious demonic power as its feathers lightly rang like wind chimes. "It has been some time since I've seen one of those." Vergil stated as he tapped his fingers on his arm.

"What is it?" The men looked cautiously at the bird.

"A particularly rare demon that was bred using artificial means hundreds of years ago." Vergil explained while he maintained his vigilance of the bird. "It wasn't particularly powerful back then, merely a bird with particularly sharp feathers with some utility as a sword. I cannot imagine that it would be strong enough to survive on its own down here with the tunnels full of Empusa." The Empusa guard their tree jealously, they were the only demons down here, them and those strong enough to force their way in. As Vergil was thinking about that the bird suddenly flew off deeper into the tunnel.

"Should we follow it?" One of the people suggested with a smirk. "I bet if we can sell it as a pet to some rich guy we'll get a tonne of Alz's from them."

"Do as you like." Vergil hadn't taken responsibility for these men, they were porters to him, a way to earn a few extra Alzs from harvesting materials from the monsters that he kills, the way that Dante racks up debt he needs all the Alz he can get. If they ran off and got themselves killed the only problem he had was carrying his own bags and harvesting his own monster organs. With that the men ran off down the tunnel chasing after the bird. With that Vergil was almost alone.

"There was a time that I had to walk with a cane too." Vergil made a comment as if he was only now taking notice of someone's accessory. "I don't know who you are but I don't need the porters tripping over themselves looking after a fool too stupid to stay out of danger." The bird landed on a Stalagmite holding a folded sheet of paper in its beak.

"I require assistance locating a particular demon." A voice came from the bird, as if someone was using it as a speaker. "You may consider that your down payment."

Vergil unfolded the paper, a well drawn picture of an odd looking demon, and a bank card with the number written in the corner.

"Once you've brought me the creature in question you may receive the rest of your payment." And then the bird vanished into mist.

"This appears to be rather suspicious." Musing that Vergil stashed his 'commission' away.

As the Fall turned to winter Brad, Greg, Chris, Jilk and Julius finished up in the store, Marie breathed a sigh of relief as she looked favourably upon her circumstances. With the six of them now receiving steady employment and the corresponding paychecks their living expenses may finally go down.

"Huu~!" Finally something was going right.

"JULIUS!" A loud Bugle playing a Calvary Call Echoed out the streets of Alzer. "JILK!" The Five Fools gave a conditioned response as they went stiff frozen in fear. "CHRIS!" Slowly the Five of them turned around to face behind where they were standing. "GREG!" The entire street had been occupied by men in Holfortian Military uniforms. "BRAD!" The army that had invaded and were occupying the street was led by a man in his middle age who was carrying a riding crop. "Have the five of you forgotten that as of 15 hundred hours today your asses are my property!?" They had actually forgotten about that, or rather they ended up slipping away from the general's grasp and escaped to Alzer on Leon's airship under the pretence of the exchange program. "I understand that we were invaded and that we were all busy at the time. YOU-" The general snapped his riding crop onto the bodies of each of the Five Fools correcting any flaw in their posture with brute force. "-on the other hand had no excuses!"

"The Hatred is strong here." Noelle commented looking at Marie with equal parts perverse curiosity and minor mortification.

"Basically, Chris is his daughter's Ex." Marie omitted her involvement in their break up.

"And he's taking it out on all of them?" Noelle asked not turning her eyes away from the train-wreck.

"They lost a bet." Marie also opted to omit her involvement in that.

"I understand the five of you are so pathetic that your parents opted to ship you off to Alzer to take mercy on you, even the Demon Knight Leon Rapha Blackmore himself, took mercy on you even though you took his charity and threw it in his face." Frankie was quite thorough in her reports, the five refusing to work during the trip over on top of being the ones to lose Bernhard to Pierre. "I however will not! You are proud Noble Men of Holfort, the Nation of adventurers, Scion's of the Founding Five Families and your behaviour reflects upon us. Quite poorly I might add. Private!" At once one of the men stepped out from the line of Holfortian soldiers and began reading off from the folders.

"Brad Lafan, B- in Athletics." And the next twenty minutes was a thorough chewing out of the five heirs, normally their grades would be better, but all of their free time was spent relentlessly job hunting.

"You will be correcting yourselves during your one month stay aboard our patrol ship, otherwise your families have given me free reign to have the five of you recalled back to Holfort permanently!" The five of them froze up in fear at that.

"But what about Marie!?" Chris was taken aback by the declaration.

"Marie of course hasn't managed to disgrace her family name." She didn't have a family left to disgrace after all. "As such she will remain here to complete her year of schooling." The five took a gasp at that. "In the mean time you five, after having dropped out for a year to complete your commission in the army, will be allowed to re-enrol in Holfort for your second second year as Lafan is completing her third and final year." Another gasp from five idiots.

"But that isn't Fair!" Greg complained, and thus he became the focus of the General's wrath.

"Fair? FAIR!? Did a young man of our nation, a veteran adventurer at that, just complain about his life being UNFAIR!?" The Five were taken aback in fear at the General's Murderous Shout. "Men! What is their punishment!?"

"""One Hundred Push-ups! One Hundred Sit-Ups! One Hundred Pull-ups! And a Ten-K Run!""" The men shouted all at the same time.

"NOW MOVE IT MAGGOTS!" Thus the five of them started to run at full speed, further complaints would result in their feet being shot at by the general, who would make them continue to run even with bullet fragments in their feet.

"Remind me not to enlist." Noelle had no intention of incurring the wrath of her would-be commanding officer.

Marie in the mean time was making calculations, just by herself she could make enough money to feed herself and have plenty left over once the winter break was over. Perfect! With luck the General would succeed in hammering into their heads the value of money and the importance of hard work to get it. Even if she did hope that they'd suffer for their idiocy.

"By the way miss." Noelle instinctively straightened up after being addressed by the scary man who sent the five Adventurers running for their lives.

"Yes sir!" Noelle instinctively reacted in the same way as the five fools.

"I was hoping to see young Blackmore while I was here. It would be nice if I didn't come all the way here just to pick up those disgraces."

"Oh he's in the back, I'll take you to him."

Noelle led the way through the cafe, the General taking note of the various demi-humans who were tending to the store, individuals that despite claims to the contrary were not mere Elves and Beastmen, few such a beings after all can create the atmosphere of being inside of a dungeon, even if he did admit that they were far more attractive than most Demi-humans.

"Even though he looks like he's asleep, he said that he's performing some kind of long distance magic with his Fiances in Holfort, even though I say that he said that it would be fine if we snap him out of it after the sun goes down." Nodding his head the General prodded Leon with the butt of his Riding crop.

"I'm up, I'm up!" Leon quickly assumed a seated position as he pulled the magazine off of his face. "General." Leon greeted his friend's father. "Should I assume that the idiots didn't give you much trouble?"

"More than I had hoped, less than I expected." Patton was honestly impressed. It takes exceptional craftsmen to shape diamonds, or something with the durability and hardness there of. That there was any progress at all was a sign of Leon's prowess.

"I've tried to leave them to their own devices, the sink or swim streets of Alzer should beat into their skulls actual life skills." Leon shrugged his shoulders. "Either that or they'd die off in the process and I'd be rid of them. I however underestimated their tenacity." Ah then they've been doing better than he had heard if that's the case. "Do you have any idea of how humiliating it is to drag those idiots around the school by my feet!?" Leon's magazine became the victim of his frustration.

"I see." Leon wasn't aware of it, nor would he care, but the intensity of the Five Idiots training had just been intensified. "Well in any case I need to find an anniversary gift for my parents before Angie and Livia get here." Which is odd since Patton was under the distinct impression that the boys fiances were forbidden from leaving Holfort, but that was besides the point. As Patton recalled the files on Leon's family their extreme height was such a obstacle to popular fashion that their eldest daughter went as far as to open up her own tailor store, the brother was a craftsman as was the God father, so those two were out too.

"Then might I suggest picking up a cake for them?" General Patton suggested as Leon cocked a vaguely interested brow in his general direction. "Perishable goods are always a good last minute gift idea, you even have the perfect excuse since it was so close to the party itself."

"...thank you for your words of wisdom general." Leon showed his appreciation with a bow. Though he didn't say anything else Leon quickly put on an apron and went into the kitchen to get to work.

Leon: In simple terms, we need to collect samples from two different species of tree, one in Inferno and the other Paradiso, a Qlippoth and a Sephirot respectively. We need a blossom from one and the pollen from another.

Angelica: Not a particularly easy task I'm given to understand.

Leon: Not really. Thanks to Bernhard's initiative we have a Qlippoth that has taken root inside of the castle already though I don't know if it has blossomed yet. As for the Sephirot I already saw the one in Alzer already.

Angelica: Failing that we believe that there's a Sephirot somewhere in Avalon as well, one that I intend to eliminate.

Leon: No comment. The real issue here is feeding it so that it grows big and strong.

Angelica: Mana correct?

Leon: Eventually yes, but it's going to need demonic and angelic power on a cycle and lots of it, a process that involves draining several powerful angels and demons dry. A situation that will lead to the permanent demise of several powerful demons and angels.

Angelica: A difficult asked for your family indeed.

Leon: Luckily I happen to know where we can find the Cardinal Virtues. For all their power those four are just concentrated masses of positive emotions. Getting offed will just mean that new ones will take their place.

Angelica: Where are the Cardinal Virtues?

Leon: If you have to ask...

Angelica: That confirms my theory then. What do we do about the demons?

Leon: Ol Gabriel has been fighting a civil war in his castle for a few hundred years. He'll be more than happy to feed his enemies and any of their soldiers that don't bend the knee to the tree.

Angelica: Simple in theory, difficult in execution.

Leon: After that the tree stabilises we just need to start cramming enormous amounts of mana down its proverbial throat, that and getting a caretaker for it.

Angelica: Caretaker?

Leon: Plant affinity mage. So either Yumeria or one of Alzer's Great Nobles, or a certain young lady looking to immigrate away from Alzer.

A conversation Between Leon Rapha Blackmore and his Fiance Angelica Rapha Holfort following the Winter Ball

The next day Livia and Angelica were packed and heading into the Blackmore compound where they would stay for the duration of the winter break.

"Sorry for asking the two of you for this right after your recovery." Angelica bowed her head apologetically to the pair of shape changing demonesses.

"Think nothing of it Ojou!" Left and Right had both made a complete recovery from the events of the final attack from the Principality, as such Angelica used them as pawns to enact her plans.

Angelica and Olivia exchanged their clothes for maid's uniforms, they also prepared two dolls that used their hair as materials and gave them to the two demonesses, thus Left and Right had taken on Olivia's and Angelica's forms.

In the mean time the two girls used an accessory to turn their hair black and their eyes green, it didn't go as far as to change their faces but that was just par for the course. Luckily since the two of them were already such prolific shape shifters anyone from Holfort would just assume that the twins had just changed their appearances. For now the two maids just made their way over to Rodin's juke box and arrived in Alzer.

Leon was hard at work throughout the night, the cake he had been baking was known as Checker-board cake, two individual cakes, chocolate and strawberry, was sliced into inch thin layers, and further divided into ring shaped loops. The Rings were stacked inside of one another forming a bullseye pattern, when sliced into the end result would resemble a black and red checker-board, after that he used a icing knife to coat the cake in dark chocolate icing and topped it with strawberries. He repeated that pattern several three times resulting in a stacked wedding cake like dessert, which he then decorated with magic symbols that would help to preserve the cake in question. Wiping his brow Leon smiled at his work.

"I was wondering what you were up to." Leon was greeted by the sight of his 'maids' of course he had discussed his plans with Angie and Livia in advance.

"Oh you know, just preserving my dignity as a bread winner." Leon stated bluntly, thinking about five idiots who were likely being tortured, or getting PTSD from the ride over it wasn't really his business.

"It looks good!" Olivia stated as she looked at the cake with hungry eyes.

"I'll make you some more later." Leon explained as he pushed the cake into the full sized freezer. "For now we need to discuss our schedule." Leon agreed to take Louise and Noelle to the winter Carnival, and he would be going on the expedition Narcisse had booked in the Tree Roots dungeon, the amount of time that they had together to delve Bernhard and perform some hits on the local Demon Lord population would be quite limited.

"Before that there's some more things that you should be made aware of." As Angelica said that the magic around the juke box lit up again and two more figures, or rather massive headaches, walked in.

"Oh ho ho ho! So this is the legendary long distance transportation magic I've heard so much about!?" Deidre was laughing haughtily behind her fan.

"Pleasure to make your acquaintance again Leon Rapha Blackmore." Hertrude on the other hand gave a demure bow to Leon as she held her axe to her side. Leon gave Angie and Livia a look, one that suggested that neither of them would be able to walk in the morning, the two girls quietly accepted their fates.

"I understand that we need Hertrude and the flute, but what are you doing here?" Leon asked looking a Deidre with nothing short of blatant suspicion.

"Naturally, I intend to pursue sir Blackmore as his mistress." Deidre snapped her fan close. "After all it would be bad if the royal family knows that the Blackmores have such a convenient long distance transportation magic. Or that Angie and Livia here used it to sneak into another country." Deidre hit the proverbial nail on the head of the situation.

"...luckily for you two we just had a opening."
