"Won't they just cut through and meet us on the other side!?" Kasai cried, but responded by chuckling. "Even if that bird brain flew directly over the wall it'd take hours both going up and getting back down," he informed, easing the tension. "Plus I'm super sneaky~" Nakama boasted as Kagaku fixes her railing up, and she closes up to continue. Arlos finally dropped the Room, wiping some sweat off his forehead. They continued down the tunnel, leaving the Grand Line behind, and making it to the New World. "Where's our first stop Kiwi?" Kasai asked, looking to get some fresh food for the crew. Kiwi checked the map, pinpointing their trajectory and location off of how long it had been since they passed through the tunnel. Nakama kept low, in case any patrol ships were above them. "The best stop would be Golden Egg," he informed, and Lia hopped to the wheel ready for instructions. "We should surface. I should check for any minor damages," Kagaku said, Harmony nodding and relaying. "Golden Egg huh? We passed this one ourselves," Lia informed, reminiscing about her past within the King's crew. "He thought it was too shiny," she chuckled, trying not to cry as her eyes started to water. "It's funny, if I wasn't turned into that doll, I'd be seventy years old. That's too old to adventure," she continued, wiping her nose with her sleeve. "I'm so glad I can still travel with him, in a way," she finished, smiling at Harmony who grinned back. They continued towards their destination.
Golden Egg was named such as the king of this land built it out of solid gold, and only the truly rich could live here. They haven't seen pirates from the Grand Line ever since the Government made the only way through the Red Line is through the Navy and their special balloon that can fly. But news that a crew finally passed through the Navy blockade got the place bustling with excitement and fear for an attack. In response, a small marine squad of 4 were sent to patrol the streets of Phrygia; Golden Egg's capitol city. They had to wear special goggles, as the metallic sheen blinded any who gazed directly at it in broadnl daylight. "These don't fit my style..." the Sound Admiral Musume growled, her huge hyena ears twitching with irritation. She also seemed less giggly, almost like she's just upset.
"Uh... Y-you don't wanna go blind right?" one of the marines asked, and she responded with a threatening glare. "You don't wanna go deaf do ya?" she asked sarcastically, flicking the lackey in the forehead before continuing on. She looked over, noticing something about one of them. "Oh, but she doesn't need 'em!?" she argued, pointing at the only other girl there; a half-mink with a button nose, and her short dark-red hair had bangs that completely covered her face above said nose. "Uh, cuz I'm blind stupid," she said bluntly, turning to face Musume. "No you're not! You just got all that fur growin' out your brow!" she insulted, but Mozu didn't seem bothered. "Just patrol the radius," she commanded, and Musume grumbled and groaned, but obeyed. "Thinks she's so cool, Albatro handed her that fruit," she complained to herself as she rode the sound waves created by her stomping, flying forward. She zipped past the coast, not noticing as a ship slowly sailed into a crevice on the south end of the golden land.
Now that they were safe from eyes, Nakama surfaced inside the cave, which unfortunately went above the sea. "I'll stay down here," Nakama said, climbing up onto a flat part of the rocky floor with her oars. "Probably smart, no offense but you'd be hard to sneak into town," Kagaku chuckled, sticking his pinkie up his nose. "Awright! Let's get ourselves the supplies we need!" Harmony exclaimed, throwing her fist up excitedly. "Minx, Kasai and Kiwi; you guys focus on food. Kagaku, Lia, and Arlos; you're getting the clothes. Rest of us; we doin' hero stuff!" Zii and Julio tilted their heads, a confused look on their faces. "Hero stuff?" Kasai asked, as everyone but Kagaku and Lia also seemed confused. "We gotta get a good name in this New World. We don't wanna start fights just for being a pirate, so I wanna be known more as a hero~" she explained, peaking down at the cave floor as a beam of light shot from her hands, and it immediately illuminated the entire area as the light bounced everywhere. "Wow, it's even gold at its base," Lia stated, as everyone jumped down. A path leading up to the coast was the only way out on foot, and Kagaku created some glasses from his body, but they were darkened lenses. His and Harmony's were a bit bigger to fit over their glasses, and they headed up before splitting up to do their respective missions.
The first group made their way into town, looking out for any market or vendor. There were many selling good ingredients, all near the outskirts of town. Everything but the actual stands made from wood and cloth was solid gold, even the homes themselves. "I hear the king single handedly made this place," Minx said, but a nearby civilian chuckled, drawing the three's attention. "Well, not single handedly," he laughed, seemingly happy to explain further. "Go on," Kasai nodded, Kiwi and Minx already invested. "Our king did indeed build this place by himself, but his Devil Fruit helped him," he explained, "It gave him many limbs, and with that he built our lovely home." Kiwi and Minx both gasped while Kasai smiled to himself. "Say, you know this fruit's name?" he asked. "Why yes, it's the-" The man is cut off as a sonic boom suddenly echoed out from the town's center. The three immediately went on the defensive, and rushed towards the chaos. "That sounded like that Admiral's sound power!" Kasai growled, shifting into his full wyvern form as Minx and Kiwi hopped on and he flew up.
The second group was deeper in, as the clothing store was closer to the center. "Say Lia? How Do You Feel?" Arlos asked, his voice more like a gentleman. "I feel perfectly fine~" she chuckled, smiling at him. "Why? Do I not seem so?" she asked, and he just sighed. "I'm... Still Not Good With People..." he admitted, and Kagaku patted his back. "Don't worry bud. I can tell we aren't just some crew. Under that girl, we're a family," he reassured, and Arlos had tears roll down his face. "Ah! N-no need for tears!" Lia exclaimed, but he laughed heartily. They continued on, all three smiling brightly before their demeanor was interrupted by a nearby explosion. "Damn, that didn't take long," Kagaku sighed, sticking the pinkie in his nose. "Let Us Go!" Arlos said, bolting for the center with the other two chasing behind them. They reached the center, and immediately noticed Julio and Zii on opposing sides of the area, both unconscious with bloody ears. "The hell..?" Lia asked, running over to Zii as Kagaku ran to Julio. Kasai came in, landing next to Arlos. "Where's captain!?" Minx cried out, and Julio shakily sat up. "S-some admiral... She jumped us..."
