"Uuuugh... My head..." Harmony groaned, sitting up from the floor. Kagaku filled a glass with water and created some kind of tablet in his hand that he put in. She watched it fizz for a bit before drinking it. "It was clearly labled 'Apple Ale'," he chuckled, patting her back a bit. "You chugged that whole thing in one go." She chuckled before looking around. "We on the move?" Kiwi chimed in, "Yep, we're only a few hours into the trip to our next destination, Filaytin." Surprised by the way the drink helped her headache, Harmony gave Kagaku a thumbs up as he focused on the radar. "You know, we haven't gotten an update on our bounties in a bit," she said out loud, and everyone had a look as if they haven't thought about it either. "We can get newspapers there I'm sure," Kasai said, rather curious himself. "After all they did to get rid of mine," Kiwi chuckled, looking down at the map but was really spacing out. Minx, Arlos and Julio didn't seem to care, and Lia laughed with Kiwi as she was in a similar case. "Never had one," Zii admitted, nervously looking down. "Think I'll get one?" Nakama asked, and the captain shrugged."Well, once you got one, it's kinda fun watching the numbers go up," Harmony joked, getting a chuckle out of her. "But don't kill a guy like Minx did, that's cheating," Kasai said, getting a genuine cackle out of Minx, which made the crew all start laughing together.
The summer island Filaytin was a tropical paradise, filled with winding rivers each having unique fish. Many however are endangered, so it's not a place cooks are very welcomed. Of course, some are a delicacy and the black market is constantly in demand. One such provider, a pirate with a braided beard, was fishing in the thicker part of the forest, loading whatever he caught into a bucket. He heard footsteps approaching, and he grabbed onto the pistol on his hip. But when he looked around, nothing was there, so he sat back down. "Yo bro that's not cool!" a voice yelled, making the pirate jump and pull out the gun completely, looking around sporadically. Still he saw nothing, but then the bucket containing his haul floated into the air behind him, and smacked him upon the head, spilling the fish back into the river. The pirate fired blindly towards where the attack came from, but then he felt a swift kick in his chest, and an elbow in the face. As he passed out, the form of the attacker came out of his invisibility. A calico cat mink smirked as he picked his teeth with his claw, and he kicked the pirate one more time before dragging him back into town.
Within the tavern, a group of five pirates sat around a table, all chatting except one, who stared ahead as he listened in on the conversations of the civilians around him. "What'cha got cap?" a burly man asked, noticing him. "A crew got through the Red Line," the captain stated, sipping his whiskey. "It has been a long time," a cloaked figure said, chiming into the conversation. "Ya hear who they are?" a half mink with spiky hair asked, stopping his conversation with the last crew member, a cute humanoid axolotl with an amber color to her skin. She also had messy red hair that looked wet, and her gills had a golden color to them. "What're we talkin' about?" she asked, genuinely not paying attention the entire time. "The Melody Pirates? Oh god..." the captain groaned. "Nobody tell Gizmo..." he said, right as the calico walked inside. "Tell me what?" he asked, and the axolotl chimed in immediately, "We aren't supposed to tell you the Melody Pirates got through the Line. Why though?" she asked, the rest of the crew rubbing their eyes in frustration.
His eyes lit up, and a look of excitement filled his face. "Are they coming here!?" he asked, and the captain scoffed. "Better hope not. They are going after my prize, therefore they are our enemy." Gizmo groaned, "But Cameron!" Then, he looked like he had an idea. "Imagine what I could do with her fruit power~" he said as Cameron turned his hand invisible like Gizmo was doing earlier, simply out of boredom. "You're right... Maybe we should take them out while we can. The news states they just destroyed Golden Egg. There's a possibility they will go to this island next," he said, spinning a chopstick between his invisible fingers as he stood. "With her new title, Harmony might wanna claim this place. Chameleon Pirates, lets go," he commanded, the crew all jumping up from the table. "Gizmo, you and Toast watch the dock," he directed, the cat and axolotl heading outside first. "Hopefully that'll keep them out of trouble..." Cameron sighed, heading out with the rest to patrol the town.
Nakama pulled into the dock of Filaytin, next to a ship that was the same purple she was, only the figurehead looked like a lizard. The jolly roger was that of a pirate ship, but Harmony didn't seem to care. "If they start a fight we just finish it," she stated casually, throwing her hands behind her head as she walked into town. "Besides, they could be friendly~" she chuckled to herself. She found the stand selling the paper the old fashioned way, and she bought one and brought it back. She flipped through and found the article on them, reading through it quickly. "They went and labeled us as the bad guys again, saying we raided Golden Egg," she groaned, that being the opposite of what she was wanting. "Well we are pirates," Julio stated, patting her back. "It's been two years since I've seen my bounty," Kasai said, eagerness in his eyes. "Honestly same," Harmony chuckled as she turned to hers, and dropped the paper. She looked like she was about to cry, and Kiwi looked over and tilted his head. "After her forceful removal of a Celestial Dragon and the destruction of Golden Egg, Cleoma D. Harmony's bounty is now 300,000,000!" he read aloud, the crew all nodding in reply. "What's wrong cap?" Minx asked, and Harmony sniffled. "They actually put my name right~" she whined, causing everyone to fall over. "You're an odd one," Kagaku chuckled.
The crew all made it to over 8 digits with their bounties. News of Kasai training with Arlos and the Drakolos' new fruit shot theirs both to 270,000,000. Julio with the power of his new weapons, got his bounty up to 265,000,000. Minx stood at 264,000,000, but he wasn't too bothered by it, honestly just glad the murder thing was dropped. Lia was next, listed as the former First Mate to Roger; her bounty at 250,000,000. Kagaku got 225,000,000 with Kiwi just at 224,000,000. Zii was however not listed in the bounties, but was named in the article. "My dad still thinks he can get me to join him..." she groaned, clutching her fists. "He's probably omitting my bounty with his Celestial Dragon status..." Harmony laughed, patting her back, "If he plans to take you, it'll be through us," she promised, the crew nodding in agreement. "Your the Melody Pirates sail keeper, even if you ain't got a bounty," Harmony said, smiling as Zii's eyes turned pink. "Say, what is up with your eyes changing anyway?" Kasai asked, noticing it. "Well, they seem based on my emotion," she answered, eyes going a jade green. "I can stop it if I focus..." she said, but Harmony bonked her on the head, flashing her eyes yellow. "Nah, it's cool~ I wish my eyes could change," Harmony chuckled, and they turned pink again as she laughed with her. "So What's Pink?" Arlos asked, and Zii's face turned red before she shot up. "It just means embarrassed!" she said quickly, jumping back onto the ship. Nearby, in the bushes just in view of the dock, two pirates watched the Melodies.
