The sun rose over the horizon, and the Namaqua was sailing through a stormy patch of hail the size of boulders. Cameron wasn't worried in the slightest as he gracefully danced the Namaqua through the hail. Minx was munching on a pear he found while he tightened the screws holding his scissors together. "Hey bud," Kasai said, walking over. "What was up with that fire? You cut it before," he asked, and Minx shrugged. "It had a haki coating that time... I guess he never used it in Sabody," he replied, looking down. "What, that sword guy never taught you haki?" Minx shook his head, "No, he said he's bad at teaching spirit stuff." Kasai blinked as he looked taken back. "I got you bro," he chuckled, using some armament for a second. "Just gotta feel your will take form," he said, Minx paying attention as he tried to copy Kasai. Kagaku ran up above deck, holding some contraption he threw together. "Yo! You guys wanna go even faster?" he asked, already installing this creation behind the ship despite Cameron yelling at him. But once he started the device, the ship jolted forward, beginning to pick up some real speed. "Huh... Fine, but no more things without asking!" Cameron scoffed, making Kagaku chuckle.
As the sun returned, the torches relit, illuminating the prison once more. Harmony blinked, having actually been able to sleep with her breathing in control. Zii was sleeping deeply, but definitely looked way better. "Never came up with a name for 'em, but they're a dense ball of all the things the body needs~," the axolotl explained as Harmony looked at one of the orbs in her hand. "As well as other stuff but that other stuff isn't important," Toast said, chuckling. Zii groaned as she started coming to, and Harmony scurried over to her. "You alright? What happened?" she asked, the panic in her voice almost making her lose her breath again. "I... I'd rather not talk about it..." she answered, looking down at her hands. Harmony nodded, changing the subject. "Ok. What's up with all these people?" she asked, and Zii explained. "Celestial Dragons are allowed to do whatever they want with their land. The original member of the Black family, Blackdragon, was just as vile as my father..." she said, continuing to explain what she knew about the story; the slaves have served the Black family for 3,000 years. "No one but us three down here have even seen the sun..." she sighed. "Cam ain't gonna like that. He's gonna try to save everyone," Toast remarked confidently. "Savin' slaves is like, his thing." The doors opened, and Blackflame came walking down again. Harmony was about to step up, but Zii just put her hand on the captain's shoulder. "It's ok..." she sighed, getting up and following the guard.
"Well, have I got news~" Blackchain laughed as they entered, his smile beaming with maliciousness. "We got an admiral coming with the beri for the fish. She's an old friend." Then he smirked, watching her expression as he continued. "She's also gonna take that pirate off my hands." Zii gasped, and her saddened eyes brought joy to Blackchain's. "She only lived at all cuz of her call, so don't blame her. Blame yourself for bringing them into this," he chuckled, waving Blackflame away. "After this, you'd best enjoy the time you got. The admiral will arrive tomorrow in the afternoon during our training so tonight's all you got with her!" he full blown laughed as tears rolled down his daughters face. "T-they'll kill her..." she sighed, and he just shrugged. "I would have at the ship hun. They were always going to die. It's what happens when you oppose a Celestial Dragon~" He then shut the doors, and the 'training' commenced. Within the prison's secluded corner, Will was doing something interesting. "With some spirit power, one can make their lungs far more efficient~" he explained, and she tried it out. Immediately she found herself breathing normally, but the strain of keeping it up proved difficult to deal with for long. "Just some more work, and you'll get it," Will chuckled, surprised at just how fast she picked it up. Toast followed her this time just because there was nothing else to do. She sat on the floor and tried the breathing, but she didn't breathe like they did so his words weren't understood. "Phooey," she pouted, swaying her red gills dismissively. "Hey Toast?" Harmony looked over with a question in mind. "You said something before about your dreams being dead. What happened?"
Toast sighed as she fidgeted with her hands, before she looked up at Harmony, "My dream was unreachable, so I decided to give up on it..." The captain walked over, and squatted down in front of her. "No such thing! I'm gonna be the one to catalog every Devil Fruit one day," she said reassuringly. "Really!? There are fruits we don't even know about, that's impossible!" Will exclaimed, but Harmony snickered confidently. "Heh... But yours is still achievable..." Toast said as she looked up. "Why, what is your dream young lady?" Will asked, rather curious himself. Toast looked up, and after a moment she spoke up, "My dream... I'm gonna go up in the sky someday... And I'm gonna fix the moon." Will lost it as he fell back, laughing uncontrollably. "Nobody's making it that high up! That really is a bad dream-" Harmony knocked the old man in the back of the head with her cuff, startling Toast. She then looked the axolotl in the eyes, and with a serious expression Harmony said something Toast never expected. "Never give that up. That's one of the greatest dreams I've ever heard of. And damnit I bet you could do it~" she laughed, making herself lose the concentrated breathing for a second as she coughed. Toast looked taken back, almost like she was about to sob, but she kept her composure with only watery eyes. "T-thank you... That means a lot." She wiped her eyes, looking away so they didn't see her crying.
"You really are one of the dreamers," Will said to Harmony, sitting up. "What's that mean?" Toast asked as Harmony was about to. "Legends passed down from days long past speak of the day a follower of dreams would show us the sun," Will explained as he looked up at the torch lighting up their corner with longing in his eyes. "The story's have forgotten what the sun even looked like..." Harmony sighed as she looked down at her wrists. "These Celestial Dragons... Blackchain won't get away with this," she said, standing up with a smile as she faced Will. "I'll show you guys the sun," she promised, and his face lit up. "The crew'll come in and get us all," Toast assured. "Mine too," the captain laughed. But as they chatted, the throne room was echoing with attacks. Blackchain roared in frustration as he threw Zii against the wall, causing her to cry out. "This can stop Blackcat, just gotta join my crew," he grunted as he picked her back up by the hair. "What's so bad about that?" She coughed, blood coming up from her throat, "I-I'd rather die than work for you..." He glared deep in her eyes, and in a moment he considered threatening the pirate girl, but decided against it. "Fine... I yield." He dropped her, snapping and summoning Blackflame. "Looks like Harmony might get a show before she leaves," he snickered as she was lifted up. "Father? What do you mean?" Blackflame asked, and he laughed in a vile way. "She'll be stripped of her family name, and cast punishment befitting such an event." Both the girls looked startled, then Zii just looked defeated as she slumped, and his smile only grew. Zii returned that night conscious, but despite both Toast and Harmony's prodding she just didn't say anything about what he did. "Well, he's got an admiral coming to get you two, so this'll probably be the last night I'll see you..." was all she said about it. Harmony just went and threw her arms over Zii to pull her into a hug, startling her. "Don't you sweat it! I'll bust outta that navy ship and rescue you anyway. I've made a promise to Will I gotta keep," she said, and Zii tilted her head at the name Will.
After the torches extinguished, Harmony ended up falling asleep after a minute, and Zii didn't want to move her so she laid there in her arms. She couldn't sleep, thinking about what her father had planned, but felt comfort with the captain. "I'm so sorry I dragged you into this..." she muttered quietly, wiping tears from her eyes. Morning came, and the sun shined upon a white and blue ship approaching Know Thing. "Such a beautiful place, isn't it Angel?" Musume sighed, looking at the dead untouched land. "Yea, sure," he shrugged, not seeing the beauty here. "Well, how long's it been?" Blackchain asked as he came to the dock to welcome his visitors. "Far too long~ I've missed your, company," Musume chuckled, and he smirked. "Ew..." Angel muttered. "Come. We've got quite a show for you before the pirate leaves me." This intrigued her, and she eagerly followed. They entered the prison area with Angel and Blackflame pulling a wooden contraption behind them. Harmony blinked as she woke up, Zii pulling herself out of her arms. "Hey Harmony..? I'm really sorry for this..." Zii said somberly, startling the pirate. "What's wrong..?" she asked, but Blackchain would be answering her. "Blackcat has denied us, and she has been stripped of her name. And the punishment is the same as it always was since the Black family formed!" He knocked on the wood, causing it to unfold, and Blackchain focused on Harmony's expression, which changed as her heart sank, giving him some extreme joy. "The girl shall be hung for her crimes," he laughed, the contraption unfolding into a gallows.
