Hell's Trickster: Part 2
Naruto was asleep, something to be expected when Umino Iruka was giving his usual history lesson, not only did he already knew it but the furball in his gut was an existence that lived it and had no qualms in telling what really happened from a neutral point of view, well if you can count disliking both sides equally a neutral anyway.
By his side sat as usually Tsuki Uchiha, daughter of the matriarch of the very decimated Uchiha clan and best friend of the sleeping Uzumaki, most would have expected her to be obsessed with vengeance against his brother and so becoming an antisocial emo but no her mother and the Uzumaki had made sure to keep her socially functional even if the Uzumaki was forced to drag her by force after beating her ass in their secret private training.
The main reason for them to be together is mainly Tsuki actually, she had always been a pretty girl and so, when she entered the academy became the male center of attention, add to that her talent and being the only daughter of the clan head and you have a magnet for shitty people, so when she saw how everyone avoided the Uzumaki that being by fear or their parents words she decided that the best place to find some peace was around him, now, one would ask what was so frightening of a little boy, and the answer would be found on the first day of the academy when a loudmouth by the name of Inuzuka Kiba decided that it was a good idea to make fun of the redhead by comparing him to a tomato, needless to say, that Inuzuka Kiba learned the hard way why that was a bad idea, that and a month in the hospital with half his bones broken, Kiba's mother was understandably upset but changed his objective when she heard the reason, since then everyone knew better than to anger a redhead Uzumaki.
Their closeness also made the clever Tsuki figure out that the dobe was a mask, the strength he put to send Kiba a month to the hospital and that he put in the taijutsu spars was different also learning of his closeness with her cousin Shisui made it so that it was an inevitable for her to learn of his true strength ending in a fight.
FLASHBACK POV TSUKI
AN: This is going to be my first fighting scene I don't know if how good I can make it though it is going to be rather one-sided.
Uchiha Tsuki was done, the more she knew of Uzumaki Naruto the more she realized how little she knew and while advancing recalled her interactions with him.
Her interest in the boy began when she saw him beat up one of their classmates to a pulp, if she had to be honest it actually scared her a little but being the quick girl she was talked to her mother and realized that he was not really dangerous as long as you did not insult his hair, for that reason she decided that the most peaceful place to sit was next to him, contrary to most of their other classmates he had not shown interest in her and while she was rather grateful it also made her a little mad about it.
Some time later she realized one oddity about him no matter which class he always got the exact minimum marks to pass, in the exams he always achieved a perfect 50%, at first she assumed he was just that mediocre but by the fifth one with the exact same score she began to doubt and decided to watch him, one thing about the ninja academy is that they had a lot of tests and of course some questions repeat, because of that she saw that sometimes he would answer right a question but the next he answered random nonsense like the first Hokage being Morningwood Ashura instead of Senju Hashirama or that the bijuu Madara used in the battle at the valley of the end was Doraemon the cosmic cat instead of the Kyubi no Kitsune.
Then she found out that her cousin Uchiha Shisui treated him like a little brother, to that she had to admit that it was not that strange, she considered Shisui to be a strange guy that only her brother could put up with, the strange thing was when she witnessed her parents having an argument about it, her father seemed to not like that Shisui and Naruto were close while her mother argued that it was a good thing for both and warned him not to interfere, now that she thought about it her mother had always been very partial when her classmate was in the picture.
By that point she sincerely did not know what to think of the boy she had too many questions and too little answers add to that the glares that most parents seemed to send his way and it was just annoying.
What brought her to her actual situation was that she had by chance overheard her brother and Shisui talking about his training and how he had the skills to be genin if he wanted. Hearing her beloved brother that never had time to train her because of missions talking fondly about her classmate's talent in training had broken her, of course she had already realize for some time that Uzumaki Naruto was much stronger and smarter than he let on but it pissed her that her brother was training him and so she decided to go to his usual training field.
She had known of him training on training field 43 for some time but it intrigued her why nobody else seemed to want to train there. What she did not realize was that the reason for nobody going there was that being located next to the forest of death meant that it was likely for anyone training there to meet with the sadistic snake mistress of Konoha and so only people close to her even dared to step in those training grounds but because they frequented others this one had become pretty much exclusive for the redhead.
Something she hadn't realized was the two young men following her, when she overheard her brother and cousin discussion she had not been particularly silent in her anger and the two noticed her, Shisui being the annoying prankster that he was decided to follow for his amusement, Itachi on the other hand was curious about the object of her lovely sister's anger (for as much of a prodigy in the shinobi arts as he is Itachi is rather clueless about some things) and thus were silently following the little princess of Uchiha.
Tsuki broke out of her thoughts as she entered training grounds 43 where our favorite redhead was practicing his forms purposely ignoring the by now usual presence of the Uchiha, of course he had known when she followed him he was a sensor type after all and a damn good one at that, it was just that his training here was not a problem even if others knew, when he wanted to train something secretly she would go to the forest of death, activate the barrier created by his Endou-ji and have fun in his Anko-nee playground.
Not caring for interrupting his training the Uchiha advanced towards him while her followers observed the show from the trees.
"Dobe, fight with me!" Demanded the girl when she got close enough.
Blinking, the confused Uzumaki answered with the best of his ability.
"Uh?… erm, no?" Was the smart response of the Uzumaki while on the trees a certain short haired Uchiha tried his best to contain the laughter at the face his youngest cousin was making.
Meanwhile the said girl was processing his response still frozen in her battle ready stance, that definitely had not been the response she had expected, and when her pampered princess brain finished processing those words she exploded, charging to the boy with the intention of teaching him a lesson, which lesson you may ask? Well, who knows because when her punch closed the distance to the red's head he slipped away with a turn that made the girl nearly loose balance and fall to the ground.
"Why so hasty hime? Did nobody tell you that a dance is a two person thing?" Teased Naruto still not knowing what is happening.
"Urgh… Shut up and fight me Dobe!" Was the only answer he obtained from her before having to evade a series of punches and kicks aimed at different parts of his body.
Now, Naruto had been taught to treat women like flowers and while he had enough sense not to water them with his King Kobra like a certain drunken swordsman he was not afraid to play with them like his Anko-nee taught him, and so he began to use his variation of the Hebi taijutsu used by the snake lover and her teacher with questionable tastes and gender.
Shisui could not hold back the snickers that came when he saw his little brother effortlessly evading the younger Uchiha's attacks while keeping full eye contact and a still somewhat confused toothy grin that only irritated more the girl.
The exchange kept up for some time and bored of the situation Naruto decided to make it worse by indicating the opening the girl was creating accompanied by light hits that made the girl loose her balance. For her part, she had calmed a little from her blind fury and while finding it annoying heeding her opponents advice.
Eventually the girl began to tire and Naruto decided to end it before she hurt herself, of course he had had nowhere near enough to tire as he was a literal ball of condensed energy and mockery, and so with a sudden burst of speed he made her fall face first into the ground before getting on her back and holding her arm so as that she could not get free.
"So… enough? Both of us know you cannot continue and I would like an explanation as to what the hell is wrong and why is it seems you think it has to be my fault." Asked Naruto in a bored but decisive tone that made Tsuki stop resisting.
"Urgh, okay I concede. Now get off!" Admitted the girl ending with a shout.
In a fluid yet swift motion Naruto got of her and sat at a comfortable distance of her while she sat herself up and dusted off the dirt from her shirt and hair.
"Well? Gonna tell me the problem?" Inquired him.
"Hn, I overheard my brother and Shisui talking about how good your training is going and kinda lost it, Itachi-nii never has time to train me because of all the missions but it seemed like Shisui and him were bot training you, it is not fair why does he have time to train you but not me!?"
"Uhh, well I don't really know how to answer, as far as I know there is a rotation in ANBU to watch over me because I am not the most loved in the village and to pass time I usually ask them for help in training."
"So you are saying that he trains you because he his mission is to take care of you!? That is not fair!" Said the again altered Uchiha.
Pondering for a moment about what to say Naruto came up with an idea.
"Why don't you join us?"
"Eh?" Was the intelligent answer from from Tsuki.
"If you join us when he has to watch over me he will not be able to say no and I will get a training partner what do you all think?" Said the red loud enough for the spectators to hear.
Tsuki was confused about what he meant by all until she heard her cousin's laughter and turned to see him and her brother with a little smirk approaching.
"I think it is an actual good idea, we could ask Ryu-sama some more rotations for guarding you, I know he is going to force me on some guard rotations in the near future to relax from the missions, could as well make it useful I doubt he will argue."
"I can also put in a word for you likely will make things easier." Added Naruto.
AN:Endou is the ANBU commander Ryu, Naruto knows it and it is one of the main ways Endou uses to get Naruto to learn skills without the council bothering. ANBU only respond to the Hokage and the ANBU commander so the council has no say in how and what they do in their missions.
"Wait you can choose who does it?" Asked a confused Tsuki, as far as she knew one could not usually do that.
Naruto just upped his shoulders uncaringly telling her to just accept it.
FLASHBACK END
Since that day Tsuki joined the training when her brother was on rotation, Endou just accepted it, by that point he had left the mission as a sort of rest mission for those of his subordinates that burned themselves of overwork, it was a running joke in ANBU that instead of a guarding mission it was more of a training mission, eventually Tsuki decided to join him even when her brother was not there and the joke extended to her, due to his request Tsuki did know show her newfound respect and blooming friendship with the redhead in the academy.
As time passed Naruto decided to up the game making it very obvious even for the teachers that had not already realizes that he was getting the 50% on purpous, there had been a time when one of them decided to punish the demon and so gave him a lower mark, Naruto was not amused and went directly to the Hokage office to show him, he was not happy and the smartass passed the night with the snakes as the mistress was invited to dango the following day by her brother in all but blood, the others got the warning and decided not to play more games as the boy had shown he did not give crap for anyone.
And so time passed, the Uchiha clan made a blunder and was dealt with by Uchiha Itachi.
END OF CHAPTER
AN: Well, for my first battle scene i don't think it was so bad, to answer possible questions…
ANBU is basically going going to treat Naruto as a little brother, Endou is going to abuse a little of him to get his subordinates to relax, as I said in the chapter Naruto is being trained by ANBU, that is basically my way to bypass all the let children be children of Hiruzen and the antagonism of the council.
In this chapter I have set up Naruto and Tsuki's relationship, in the next chapter the semiflashback is going to continue, I don't know if I am going to include everything in the next chapter but the following is going to be the flashback of Naruto and Shisui and helping Tsuki deal with the masacre, after that maybe there is another filler where I use to explain how op Naruto's sensor skills are and his history with Kurama or I keep it for a couple more chapters, it is going to be a flashback chapter anyway so I really don't know, these first chapters are basically setting thing up for the cannon, if you don't care I know that the graduation chapter is going to be called Ssabmud no jutsu so you can skip to there when I get there the filler I mentioned is not going to be relevant until the chunnin exams and the Uchiha massacre stuff is not going to matter much until shippuden, Shisui's chapter is going to be pretty much filler so as to why Naruto cares for Shisui like a brother, thinking about it I may just skip that one until the nami mision but not further.
