Steve and Laura arrived at the mall and he took her to the jewelry store where he bought her engagement ring seven years prior. As they took the engagement ring for being resized, the saleswoman showed them the matching wedding bands. Steve just told Laura to pick out a set that she loved because he would be happy with anything. After about ten minutes Laura found a set that matched her engagement ring. Since they already took Laura's size, they measured Steve's ring finger and the set would be ready the same time her engagement ring was ready. Steve paid the 2,500 ring set that he had been saving for years, which somehow did not surprise Laura one bit.

Once they were done at the jewelry store. They walked around the mall and had a quick snack with a hot pretzel. They stopped at a tuxedo shop where Steve modeled wedding attire for her. She encouraged him of he really liked a tuxedo she wanted him to go with that one because it was his wedding too. "Laura I want you to have your dream wedding." He stated but she just told him, "My dream wedding is where you get some say in it too. We are both getting married, its for both of us. If you want to polka dance at our wedding we will polka our hearts out." Steve could barely believe his ears as if it was Myra ot would have been all about her, but with Laura she was thinking about the both of them. He was falling more in love with Laura Winslow by each passing minute.

Laura loved the idea Steve also wanted to wear white because he was just a pure as she was. She wasnt crazy about the top hat, but somehow it screamed Steve Urkel so she just went with it. The got Steve's measurements on the tuxedo and then he put down a down payment. Steve just wished he could be there for Laura to pick our her wedding dress. "No way Mister, that is for you to only see on our wedding day." She waved her finger at him as they were leaving the mall and walking hand and hand.

As they made it back to the Winslow household, they came through the back door where Harriette was cooking dinner. "Hey you two," as she turned to see them holding hands. She then gave them a side smile. "Well your dad said you have some big news, and you two coming in holding hands means you and Steve are officially engaged?"

"Yeah Mom, we are." Laura smiled back and then looked at Steve who has a nervous look to his face but relaxed as Harriette came up to them and hugged them both.

"I'm so happy for you both. I knew when your dad asked you what you loved about Steve. The look in your eyes just said it all... And Steve I am so happy to officially call you my son..." She looked at both of them as all three hugged with tears in her eyes.

Steve relaxed even more as he was now to smiling. "Really, becausee Hariette just hearing say that makes me even more excited to marry Laura Lee!"

As they sat around for the kitchen table a little bit later, Laura and Steve told Eddie and 3J. "Ha! You're going to be an Urkel!" Eddie teased. "Called it!" 3J laughed and then looked at Eddie. "Pay up!" As he held out his hand. Eddie grumbled as he took a 20 bill out of his wallet and gave it to 3J.

Laura ended up throwing a napkin at 3J and taking Steve's and throwing it at Eddie, "Mine and Steve's engagement is not a bet, give him back his 20!"

As the evening went on Carl and Harriette sat down in the living room with Steve and Laura. Eddie took 3J out to have a boys night but not before teasing the couple once more only Laura whopping a pillow at her brother's head. Only making Eddie laugh harder.

Once Eddie and 3J left Carl began as he sat in one cahi as Harriette sat in the other while Laura and Steve sat on the sofa holding hands. "Alright we know you two are grown adults and have lived under the same roof for a few years now." Carl was ready for the talk when Steve cleared his throat.

"Sorry Big Guy for interrupting.." Steve saw the annoyance on Carl's face but continued anyways as he gave Laura and Harriette a smile. "The one thing I have always done is respect Laura. Might have been a very prescient towards her on always hoping for this day to come but I have too much respect and love for her. We might be engaged now but I am a man whos always wanted to do things the right way and be patient until marriage. So you don't have to worry for us not to go any further more than just kissing."

Carl nodded his head. "Good and thank you Steve. I am glad we are on the same page. I really appreciate that."

"Yes Steve and we respect you for that." Harriette chimmed in with a big smile.

"See you guys, there is no ground rules you have to set for us. Now can I now be alone with my man?" Laura asked trying to be patient because she wanted some alone time with Steve with no else around. Plus she was starting to miss his lips on hers.

Steve looked at Carl and Harriette as Laura requested alone time feeling suddenly nervous. Both of them looked at Steve and Laura as they shook their heads and smiled. Steve relaxed and watched his future in-laws walk into the kitchen. Laura placed two fingers under Steve's chin and turned his head to look at her. "Hi!" She said with a big grin as she winked at him.

"Hi!" Steve excitedly responded back as he raised his eyebrows in a flirtatious way.

Laura sighed as her smile never disappeared. "Come here." Steve lured closer to his fiance and their lips brushed against each other.

After their little make out session Laura and Steve to go for a nice walk around their neighborhood. They talked about what they wanted for their wedding and reception . Laura was not surprised Steve wanted a cheese sculpture in their likeness. "Um who would do that for us?" She asked with a deadpan look trying hold back a laugh.

"Oh I met someone a while back when you got me that half off coupon for birthday that one year to Cheese World. You'd be surprised on how many people order cheese sculptures. Oh and we could rent the polka hall for a reception. Because when I tell them we are engaged they'll be ecstatic because they all adore you that they would probably give us a discount. And you know who else will be happy about our engagement? Mr. Tanaka and his family." Steve was just extremely excited talking about their soon to be future.

"Aww yeah he was so good to you Steve. Has he opened back up his restaurant?" Laura asked as she really liked Mr. Tanaka. He was such a great influence on Steve and very patient.

"Actually it is. I went there just a few hours before I proposed and I just to wish him congratulations on reopening. He asked about you of course and told him I was going to propose to you that night and told me for us to come back to have a meal on the house because he was very confident you would say yes. So maybe tomorrow night we can go and give him and his family and employees the good news." Steve lifted her left hand and brought it up to his lips and kissed it.

Laura smiled as she took in Steve's sweet gesture. "Mmm, that sounds like a date my fiancé. Now how about we head back home and watch a movie or something." She then gave him a wink. Oh she planned on putting a movie on but definitely would not be watching the movie. Her plan was to have her lips busy on his.

"Oooo, and what is that something my lovely Queen?" He asked with a big grin and eyes widened bigger as he pulled her closer to his body.

"As always your lips. Mmmm they are just too good to pass up on..." Laura lifted an eyebrow and smirked at her fiancé as they turned around to head back to home. But realized they were quite a bit faster than usual. "Steve?!" She started laughing as Steve gave her that look he too wanted to taste her lips too.

As they approached the front porch, they stopped in their tracks. There was Stefan in Versace clothing on the porch swing looking at them holding their hands. He held a sad look and sighed with charm behind his voice. Hey Laura..." Then looked at Steve with a scowl, "Steve..." Then looked back at Laura, "Can we talk?"
