Athena And I are waiting for the other fellowship of the ring members in front of the Palace. Soon Lord Elrond and Gandalf are walking down the steps of the palace, heading towards us.

" Ah Crimson ... right on time " Gandalf says as he stops to lean against his staff.

" Miss knight... " Lord Elrond begins to speak.

" Crimson " I say reminding him to use my given name.

Lord Elrond nods his head in agreement " Crimson we would like to talk to you about flying before you head off with the fellowship".

I feel a lump in my throat at the mention of flying but I gulp it down as fast as it came " Yes what about flying?" I question.

" Seeing as you're not ready to fly just yet, we feel its best that you send Athena to the sky without you" Lord Elrond replies firmly.

Athena gives a low rumble sound to show her displeasure about the idea. I sooth her by wrapping my arms around her gaint head " Athena and I will not be separated again" I say firmly voicing my disagreement with their plan.

" No we aren't meaning to separate you and Athena . The idea is to make sure that until you and Athena are ready to fly together. That our location isn't given away by Sauron's forces seeing Athena in the sky" Gandalf speaks up , as he walks down the steps.

Athena stands tall and lifts her head " They are right Crimson, until we are ready to fly together , its best we separate. This way we don't give away our position and mission , plus I'm only a mind link away" Athena says through out mind link.

" Alright go but don't go too far , ok Athena? " I say ask through our mind link looking up at her .

" Oh Crimson, I'll never be far away from you " Athena says softly.

" Be careful " I say out loud.

" You be careful my dear Crimson" Athena says in a sassy tone before giving a roar and taking off into the sky.

Soon her large purple body disappears over the Misty Mountains and I feel saddness in pit of my belly.

" Oh thank the Dwarf lords , that the girl and her dragon are gone" I hear the Dwarf named Gimli say . I turn towards the Palace to see that rest of Fellowship coming out the palace.

Gandalf puts a hand on his forehead in frusration" Master Gimli would please you shut up !" Gandalf says in a booming voice.

" What ! we don't need her and her stupid dragon, they're just too much trouble " Gimli says with arrogance, that tells me he didn't see me behind Lord Elrond And Gandalf.

I walk a few steps and stand beside Gandalf " Hello Gimli" I say with a smirk on my face when I see his face go pale at the sight of me.

" Awakward..." I hear Pipin and Merry whisper to each other.

We walked half a day to Mordor before the sun started to set. We set camp in a cave nearby a river, thank goodness because I need a wash from all the walking. When the fellowship was preparing dinner I headed down to the river. It was only a minute or two of a walk from the cave.The river was beautiful the water running down the the banks slowly. I kneel down beside the lowest part of river and dunk my head into the water. The cool water felt so nice on my face , as it washed the day away . I lift my head out of the water and look down to see my reflection looking back up at me. Parts of my long black hair clung to my somewhat of tanish face wet with water. I move my hair out of my face to sides the of my head. My light green eyes held uncertainy with a little saddness in them.

Then suddenly I see Aragorn's reflectinon standing over me " You really shouldn't adventure out on your own " he says in a deep voice behind me.

Aragorn sudden appearance startles me , which cause me to stand up quickly and spin around giving him a punch to the nose. The punch made him only take a few steps back from me. Aragorn quickly grabs my arm to make sure that I don't punch him again.

soon I realize that its not an orc that I punched but Aragorn " Oh Aragorn are you ok ? " I ask worried hoping that I didn't hurt him.

" Yes Crimson I'm ok . Good to know that you have fight in you but we do need to work on that punch of your's " Argorn softly says with a sassy smirk on his face.

I can feel a blush come to my face , so I look down at at feet hoping to hide my rosie cheeks. Aragorn lifts my chin to face him again . Aragorn pushes my hair thats cling my face behind my ears.

" Here turn around " Aragorn says he puts his hands on my shoulders.

" Why?" I question him uncertain why he wants me to turn around.

" Just trust me " Argorn replies with a soft chuckle to his tone.

I turn around to where my back is facing him , like he asked. I feel Aragorn take a hold of my hair and pull it back into a pony tail. I look down at the water to see that my hair was out of my face and it was in tight high ponytail. I could see my strong cheek bones now that my hair was out of my face.

" There much better you don't have worry about your hair falling into your face, if you have to fight orcs" Aragon softly says behind me.

I turn around to face him" Thank you". I say in a whisper.

Aragorn gives me a warm smile " Your Welcome Crimson, Now come its time to eat and Gandalf says when its gets dark enough you can call Athena to us for a rest" Aragorn turns back towards the camp and starts walking back.

" ok" I say following behind him.
