Case 28: Countdown to Loss
As everyone was still processing in seeing Miku using her own Symphogear, the Terror Dopant is seen high above the fleet. The Terror Dopant mostly has his eyes on Miku.
"I must say, I never thought that Ver would be that bold to use the Shénshòujìng like this." The Terror Dopant said before he remembers seeing the relic himself with Finé.
(Flashback)
In her personal laboratory, Ryubee was invited to see the Shénshòujìng himself with Finé. Being the artifact lover that he is, Ryubee couldn't help but feel in awe seeing the legendary mirror that was sealed within a glass case.
"Amazing. So, this is the Shénshòujìng, the legendary mirror. An artifact said to be able to drive away curses and purify bad luck." Ryubee said.
"Indeed. Once I make the proper preparations, this relic may prove useful to bring forth my new world." Finé said.
(End of flashback)
But unfortunately for Finé, she never found the time to make use of the Shénshòujìng, if she had then W along with Decade and the Symphogear heroes wouldn't be able to defeat her.
The Terror Dopant then sets his eyes on W. From what he heard, both Mitsuki Hidari and Philip were good friends with Miku.
"Now…how would you handle dealing with her, Raito?" The Terror Dopant said.
(Bloody Stream by Coda)

(Mitsuki and Philip are seen walking together, Mitsuki putting on his hat and Philip closing his book, and they point at the screen before the title appears in front of them.)

(Mitsuki is in his office going through his case files, before Kanade handed him a cup of coffee that he happily accepted.)

(Philip was having his usual interesting research moment as he was writing on his whiteboards, before he accidentally wrote on Chris's face as she was walking towards him, Philip flinched before Chris slaps on his face. Then images of their friends and allies appeared one at a time.)

(Ryu is seen looking at his Accel Memory before he walks forward.)

(W, Accel, Hibiki, Tsubasa, and Chris are seen surrounded by Noise before they turn to each other and nodded before they charge at the Noise battling against them.)

(The mysterious Shroud is seen walking in a dark alley before she turns to the screen showing her white bandage covered face with black sunglasses.)

(The Nephilim is in its cage with Ver looking at it with an evil grin before the Nephilim roars. Then images of the Kamen Riders and Symphogear users' enemies appear one at a time, before finally showing Ryubee looking above the Gaia Well.)

(Shirabe wearing her black Symphogear armor fires from her head compartments, then to Kirika swinging her scythe around and finally to Maria wielding her lance as she uses her HORIZON†SPEAR attack.)
(Tsuranuita omoi ga mirai wo hiraku!)
(The three black Symphogear users are standing atop a stone pillar looking down upon W, Accel, Hibiki, Tsubasa, and Chris as they get ready for battle. Then an image of a younger Maria reaching out to her sister Serena appears and then shows the present-day Maria looking at Airgetlám in sadness before a teardrop falls from her eye and onto the pendent.)

(W in his Cyclone-Joker Form is seen doing some kicks and punches as he was spinning around, and changes into his Heat-Metal swinging his Metal Shaft around, and soon changes to his Luna-Trigger firing with his Trigger Magnum, and changes to his Fang-Joker attacking with his Arm Saber, and the final spin shows W in a new and unknown form.)
(Ukiagaru kienai hokori no kizuna nigirishimete!)
(Now both Kamen Riders and Symphogear users alike are seen standing side by side as the Nephilim in its final form looking down at them, as the floating city the Frontier raises to the moon.)
As Maria continues to pilot her group's mobile base, she soon notices Nastassja arriving in the cockpit with her own personal elevator beside her.
"You made her use the Shénshòujìng to form a Gear?" Nastassja spoke to Ver.
"Mom, you should be in bed!" Maria told her.
"Though we require the relic to lift the seal, it also possesses the power to lead men astray." Nastassja glares at Ver knowing he was responsible for doing this to Miku. "This is doubtlessly your doing, doctor!"
Ver simply smirks before he explains himself.
"I simply used it when the time seemed fit." Ver remembered the offer he gave Miku.
(Flashback)
It was the day when the Kamen Riders and their friends first fought against the Weather Dopant and how Mitsuki nearly died as a result, where Ver said he could help Miku change the fates of Mitsuki and Hibiki.
"I have something that would be perfect for you. A power that can change the fate of your friends, where they can live in a peaceful world where they don't have to fight anymore. That is only if you're willing of course." Dr. Ver said before he offered his hand to her. "What do you say? Interested?"
"Power…?" Miku said.
"Yes. I can grant you the power to accomplish your heart's desires." Ver promised her before he brought out and showed the pendant of the Shénshòujìng.
Miku was surprised to see that.
After accepting his offer, Dr. Ver begins running experiments on Miku by putting her in a liquid filled tube to inject her with LiNKER and implementing cybernetic parts on her head and brain.
"The girl Maria brought back is apparently childhood friends with W and Human-Relic Fusion Specimen One." Dr. Ver said.
"The students of Lyndian are all potential Symphogear users with high sync ratios. So you put her under the influence of your LiNKER, then forced her to fight without even knowing what was happening." Nastassja said.
(End of flashback)
Ver chuckles while tapping his finger on his forehead.
"That's not quite right. If only it were that easy to sync someone with a Symphogear using LiNKER alone. If so, we could effortlessly mass-produce Symphogear users."
"Then how did you get her…" Nastassja said.
"Love!" Ver told her.
"What does love have to do with it?" Nastassja asked.
"She wished, more than anything else, for her precious friend and the man she loved not to fight anymore. The LiNKER simply conveyed that wish to the Shénshòujìng. It worked so perfectly; I could hardly believe it myself!" Ver shouted with a crazed grin on his face.
The armor pieces on Miku's legs opened and she soon hovered above the ground. She then brought out her Armed Gear, a metal folding fan. The implant on her head took effect as Miku roared loudly.
"Kohinata?" Tsubasa said.
"She's using a Symphogear?" Chris said.
"How is that possible?" Thunder said.
"So this is the result of our little collaboration. Very interesting." The Weather Dopant said.
"Is that…Is that really Miku?" W-Mitsuki said.
"Yes. There's no doubt and it's safe to assume that Ver is responsible for this." W-Philip said.
Wanting to be sure of that, W-Mitsuki spoke to Shirabe.
"Hey! What happened to Miku? What did Ver do to her?!"
"She…She just became a disposable Symphogear user driven into battle by LiNKER. She was prepared even more hastily than we were, so she must be vulnerable." Shirabe explained.
Enraged by this, W-Mitsuki tightly clenches his fist.
"Ver…that bastard!"
"Mitsuki, calm down. I know how you feel, but being angry won't resolve this." W-Philip told his partner and W-Mitsuki calmed down.
"Yeah, I know…Because right now, we need to save Miku." W-Mitsuki said.
Using her armor's earpiece, Tsubasa made contact with her allies in their mobile base.
"I have located Kohinata Miku. She's fine."
In Section Two's base, Hibiki was still processing Miku in her current state.
"Fine?! Does that look 'fine' to you?! Hidari's one thing, but how are we gonna explain this to that idiot?" Chris said.
"Hibiki-chan…" Aoi said as she looked at Hibiki in worry.
"The FIS went too far." Sakuya said.
Miku's visor soon closes and lights up before she charges to battle Tsubasa and Chris.
"Leave this fight to me!" Chris said before she charges at Miku.
Using her weapon, Miku fires an energy blast at Chris, and she avoids it by jumping into the air as she begins to sing.
(Cue: Bye-Bye Lullaby)
Chris' bowguns change mode and are now loaded with triple of the regular amount of energy bolts.
QUEEN'S INFERNO
Chris fired her bolts at Miku, and she was able to avoid them by doing a few jumps before she jumps and glides above the seawater and Chris soon follows her.
"Wait, Yukine!" Tsubasa said as she was about to follow her.
But stopping Tsubasa was the Taboo Dopant as she stood in her way and noticed that the Claydoll Dopant was behind her aiming her arm cannon.
"I'm afraid that you'll have to deal with us before you can help your friend." The Taboo Dopant said.
After jumping from another ship, Chris fires at Miku again and she avoids her energy bolts.
Chris then lands another ship and changes to her gatling guns before she uses them to fire at Miku.
BILLION MAIDEN
Miku avoids her bullets before she fires back at Chris and blocks a few shots with her folding fan.
As Maria, Nastassja and Ver watch their battle, the crazed doctor explains the modifications he did to Miku.
"I programmed some battle patterns directly into her brain. A bit of a makeshift from W Xtreme's own ability to predict an enemy's attack and fighting pattern, but she's able to execute a series of instructions, unhindered by her will. All made possible by the Shénshòujìng's Symphogear and the artificial interface provided by my most excellent LiNKER!"
"However, an artificial consciousness can never prevail against genuine willpower." Nastassja stated and Maria clicked her teeth and lowered her head.
In Section Two's base, Hibiki and the crew were watching the battle between Chris and the brainwashed Miku. They soon saw Chris begin to overwhelm Miku as her bullets hit on her.
"The Ichaival is overwhelming the opponent!" Sakuya said.
"But then…" Aoi said in worry for Miku.
Seeing Miku getting hurt like that, Hibiki turns away in sadness and worries about not being there to help save her.
'I'm sorry…I'm so sorry.' Hibiki mentally said and sensing her feelings, Genjuro placed his hand on top of her head to help comfort her. 'Shisho…'
As W watches Chris' battle against the brainwashed Miku, Chris begins to overwhelm Miku as some of her bullets hit on her.
"Do you think Chris can handle this?" W-Mitsuki said. W-Philip did a search of the Shénshòujìng and soon found something that truly shook him to his core.
"No, she can't. Miku-chan still has an ace up her sleeve." W-Philip said.
Miku continues to glide above the water before she jumps into the air, after landing another ship, Chris follows by jumping into the air and continues to fire at her while finding it difficult to attack Miku like this.
'This is so tough…I may be doing this to help her, but I still owe this girl my life!' Chris thought to herself.
Miku soon returned and landed on the ship where Tsubasa continues to battle the Taboo and Claydoll Dopants.
After landing on the ship as well, Chris soon brings out her missiles and fires them at Miku.
MEGA DETH PARTY
Miku jumps into the air to avoid them, but Chris stops by firing her guns and when the bullets hit, Miku falls to the ship as the missiles explode right on top of her.
(End of song)
After the explosion, Chris quickly jumps to check Miku, thankfully her armor gave her protection and is still alive. She was about to remove the armor before Dr. Ver spoke to her using her communicator.
"I hope you know how to treat a girl. Be gentle. If you try to forcibly remove her Gear, I'm quite certain the neural interface will cause irreparable brain damage."
Chris was surprised to learn this before Miku stood up and aimed her weapon at her.
(Cue: Waikyou Shénshòujìng)
Her Armed Gear soon unfolds and takes the form of a full circle composed of 14 fan segments.
"Watch out, Yukine!" Tsubasa said.
Miku fires a series of rapid blasts from her weapon and Chris narrowly avoids them.
閃光/Shǎnguāng (Translation: Flash)
After landing her feet, Chris skids back on the ground.
"Still got a few tricks up your sleeve?" Chris said.
Miku dismissed her Armed Gear and the knee plates on her armor folded down to reveal a mirror and connected with the cables, the mirrors then formed semicircular segments outward, forming a large ring in front of Miku.
Chris was about to move out of the way before she noticed that Tsubasa was still fighting the Taboo and Claydoll Dopants behind her, and Chris had no choice but to stand her ground.
Miku begins to sing her own song as her mirror ring begins to charge up with pink/purple energy.
"Bring it on!" Chris shouted before she opened her skirt's rear compartment.
Chris then releases dozens of yellow diamond-shaped remote weapons.
Miku soon fired a powerful energy blast at Chris.
流星/Liúxīng (Translation: Meteoroids)
"Reflector!" Chris said before she uses the diamonds to deflect Miku's attack which split apart and damaged the ship they were on.
As both Miku continues to fire her beam, Chris continues to deflect it but begins to feel the pressure of her attack as she grits her teeth, and her feet slightly skids back.
After Tsubasa avoids two energy shots from the Taboo and Claydoll Dopants, she soon hears W-Philip's voice in her earpiece.
"Tsu-chan!"
"Philip?" Tsubasa said before she avoids another energy blast from the Dopants. "Now is not a good time!"
W with Shirabe on her back rides on his HardSplasher while using his Stag Phone to speak with her.
"I know but listen! You need to pull Chris-chan out of there, otherwise, you'll both be erased!"
"Nani?" Tsubasa said.
'The Ichaival's Reflector was designed to hold back even the Kadingir's moon-shattering laser. I don't know what relic they used to make that Symphogear, but however powerful it is, it can't be stronger than that!' Chris thought before her Reflectors began to shatter into dust.
W heads to the ship where Chris, Tsubasa and Miku were on.
'Shénshòujìng. A legendary mirror said to be able to purge evil and purify cruises with its pure and innocent light. But now that it's been turned into a Symphogear, it's able to completely annihilate other relics. Even those turned into Symphogear. Meaning…Miku-chan has become the perfect Symphogear slayer.' W-Philip thought.
'Then it's all the more reason we need to hurry!' W-Mitsuki said before he sped up.
Chris soon saw that even more of her Reflectors began to shatter…No, they were being erased by the light of the Shénshòujìng.
"It's erasing my Reflectors?!" Chris said before Miku's attack began to push her back and began to damage her armor.
Just as Miku's attack was about to overwhelm Chris, Tsubasa's massive sword appeared between her and Miku's attack as the swordswoman grabbed onto her and used her ankle blades to glide above the ground to outrun Miku's attack as it broke through the massive sword.
As Miku's beam followed her and Chris, Tsubasa created several more massive blades in the attempt to block and slow down the attack, but the beam continues to break through and is catching up to them.
'I can't dodge it by moving to the side. I can't outrun it either!' Tsubasa said.
In her battle against the Weather Dopant, Thunder saw what was happening.
"Oh crap, Tsubasa!" Thunder was about to move in to help them, but the Weather Dopant stops her by firing a thunder bolt in front of her.
"I'm afraid I can't allow you to interfere." The Weather Dopant said.
"Damn it…!" Thunder said.
Accel saw that as well, but in that moment, the Smilodon Dopant attacks him and Accel stumbles back before the Dopant growls at him.
"Don't get in my way!" Accel said.
Just as Tsubasa quickly comes up with an idea, an energy shot explodes right in front of her feet, sending both her and Chris falling on the ground. Tsubasa soon sees that the attacker was the Taboo Dopant before she waves them goodbye.
"Goodbye."
Tsubasa soon saw that Miku's attack was about to hit her and Chris.
Everyone in Section Two's base saw what was happening as they could only watch.
"Oh, no!" Hibiki said.
"Tsubasa!" Genjuro said.
Just as the beam was about to hit Tsubasa and Chris, a shadow figure jumps and uses a shield to block Miku's attack and completely withstood it. After Miku ceased her attack, she soon saw Tsubasa, Chris and their rescuer were alright as their shield had traces of smoke on it but it undamage.
Using her visor, Miku saw it was W who used his shield to block her attack to defend Tsubasa and Chris while carrying Shirabe with his other arm.
Miku smiles at W and greets him.
"It's been a while, Mitsuki, Philip-kun."
"Miku/Miku-chan…" W said as he looked at the brainwash Miku.
(Flashback)
With only moments and inches to spare, W roared as he jumped with his HardSplasher jump above the ship.
Just as Miku's attack was only seconds away from hitting Tsubasa and Chris, W quickly brought out the PrismBicker along with his Gaia Memories but instead of his Joker Memory, he brought out the Metal Memory before he inserted them into his weapon.
[CYCLONE: MAXIMUM DRIVE]
[HEAT: MAXIMUM DRIVE]
[LUNA: MAXIMUM DRIVE]
[METAL: MAXIMUM DRIVE]
W soon jumps down and lands between his friends and Miku's attack.
"Bicker Finalusion!" W uses his shield to create an energy shield version of his Finalusion attack to block Miku's energy beam.
(End of flashback)
As W continues to look at Miku, Shirabe calls out to him.
"Hey." W looks at Shirabe. "I think I'm able to stand now. There's no reason to carry me anymore."
"Oh, got it." W said before he let Shirabe stand on her feet.
Miku then draws his attention by speaking with him.
"You know, you shouldn't be out here. It's quite dangerous right now."
"I could say the same about you. Miku, there's no reason for you to do this." W-Mitsuki told her.
"But I do have a reason. I'm doing this for you and for Hibiki." Miku said.
"What are you…?" W-Mitsuki said.
"I've seen what happened when you faced Isaka. How you almost died because of me." Miku said before she remembers W using a double Maximum Drive to defeat the Weather Dopant only to fail and was heavily injured as a result.
W and his friends were surprised that she was watching that.
"So that's why Isaka called us out on that day." W-Philip said.
"I guess in some sense…I'm also responsible for this." W-Mitsuki said.
"I couldn't stand the thought of you going through that again and I refuse to let the same thing happen to Hibiki. When Dr. Ver offered to give me the power to change both of your fates, I had no choice but to accept it." Miku explained.
"Miku, come on…You know that man can't be trusted. He's only using you." W-Mitsuki said.
"Even so…this is the only path I must take. In order to give you and Hibiki the peaceful future that you deserve." Miku said.
"Miku…"
Miku then begins to charge up her ring to fire at them, W was ready for it as he brought his shield forward before they heard Kirika's voice.
"Stop it!"
W and the others looked and saw that Kirika had arrived as she landed on top of the ship.
"Kirika-chan?" W-Philip said.
"Kiri-chan…" Shirabe said.
"Shirabe with us! She's our precious friend!" Kirika told her.
That's when Kirika and Miku heard speaking to them through their communicators.
"Can you really call her a friend? She betrayed us and sided with the enemy. Can you really call Tsukuyomi Shirabe one of us?"
"You're wrong! We weren't able to settle things between ourselves! I ended up betraying her!" Kirika said.
"Kiri-chan!" Shirabe calls out and Kirika turns to her. "You can't save the weak the doctor's way."
"She's right. We can find a better way if we work together." W-Philip told her.
Kirika was silent before she heard Ver talking once again.
"That may be true. After all, we are powerless against a curse that's beyond human understanding."
Dr. Ver was standing beside the opened door of the tiltrotor with Solomon's Cane in his hand.
"And the research data regarding Symphogears and relics hardly belongs to us alone. But if we have one advantage, I'd say it would be Solomon's Cane!" Dr. Ver said before he uses the Cane to summon a large army of Noise as they appeared on the ships and faced the crew defending them but were powerless against them as the Noise turns them into ash while some of the airborne Noises were flying above the ships as the Kamen Riders, Symphogear warriors, and Dopants looks at them.
"This is…" Accel said.
"He summoned Noise?" Tsubasa said.
"Damn it. He really doesn't mess around." Thunder said.
"Indeed. Though you can't fault him for using every tool at his disposal." The Weather Dopant commented.
"That asshole!" Chris said before she ran to the back.
"Wait, Chris-chan!" W-Philip said.
'So as long as Solomon's Cane exists, the treasury of Babylon is wide open!' Chris thought to herself before she jumped into the air and brought her gatling guns and missiles to fire at the flying Noises.
Kirika swung her scythe at W but blocking her attack was Tsubasa using her sword as they entered a bladed lock.
"This is the only way I can leave something behind!" Kirika said.
Miku was almost ready to fire her Meteoroids attack but Dr. Ver spoke to her.
"That's quite enough for now. Let her handle W and the others. You have your own assignment to fulfill." Dr. Ver sent a set of coordinates into her visor.
Heeding his commands, Miku soon folds up her mirror ring and moves to the water.
"Wait, Miku!" W-Mitsuki calls out.
But Miku ignores him as she hovers on top of the water and heads to her designated coordinates.
"Damn it." W-Mitsuki said before he turned to Tsubasa. "Tsubasa, I'm going after her. Can you handle things from here?"
"I can." Tsubasa nodded. "But are you sure?"
"I am." W-Mitsuki nodded before he turned back to Miku. "If anyone can knock some sense back into her, it's either Hibiki or me."
Tsubasa smirks.
"Honestly…I'm almost a bit jealous." Tsubasa said quietly. "Then go!"
"Right! You with me, Philip?" W-Mitsuki asked.
"Of course!" W-Philip nodded before he dismissed the Prism Bicker
W then jumps off of the ship and his HardSplasher appears below as he lands on top of it, he uses it to follow Miku.
Both the Taboo and Claydoll Dopants were watching W on another ship after using the chaos to sneak away.
"Onee-sama, should we follow him?" The Claydoll Dopant said.
Before the Taboo Dopant could give her answer, someone spoke to them.
"There will be no need."
Both sister Dopants looked and saw the Terror Dopant as he landed on the ship.
"Otou-sama." The Taboo Dopant said.
"I think we played our part here for long enough. Besides, I'm quite curious what's going to come from this." The Terror Dopant said.
Tsubasa and Kirika were still in a lock.
'I could break free. But if I did…' Tsubasa thought before she turns to Shirabe who is still unable to summon her Symphogear.
That's when they saw a pillar of water emerging from the ocean and appearing from the pillar was Ogawa as he landed behind Shirabe and grabbed onto her.
"Shirabe!" Kirika said.
"Ogawa-san?" Tsubasa said.
"Leave Shirabe with me. You focus on Kirika." Ogawa said before he uses his ninja movement to leave with Shirabe.
"Thank you, Ogawa-san!" Tsubasa said before she pushed back Kirika's scythe and kicked her away.
Kirika grits her teeth before she sees that Ogawa and Shirabe are nowhere to be seen.
"Shirabe…" Kirika said in worry before she faced Tsubasa to battle her.
Ogawa carried Shirabe in his arms as he ran on the water.
"Kiri-chan…" Shirabe said in worry.
Tsubasa avoids an incoming slash from Kirika before she has a chance to question her.
"What is it that you seek?!"
"Even if I disappear, I don't want Shirabe to forget me!" Kirika said.
"Disappear?" Tsubasa said.
The brainwashed Miku continues to head to the coordinates Dr. Ver sent her; she hears a familiar voice calling to her.
"Miku!"
Miku looked and saw it was W, on his HardSplasher, who was catching up behind her.
Even though it was Mitsuki, Miku refused to let him stop her as she brings out her Armed Gear and uses to fire energy shots at him, W avoids the energy shots before he sped up and it was now beside her.
"Miku, please! You need to fight Ver's control…" W-Mitsuki said before Miku jumped high into the air. "Eh?"
W looked and saw he was about to crash into a ship.
"Oh crap!"
Acting quickly, W jumps with his HardSplasher and lands on the ship as his vehicle skids on top of it.
"Nailed it!" W-Mitsuki said.
"You really shouldn't celebrate just yet." W-Philip told him before their brainwashed friend, Miku appeared in front of him.
"You shouldn't be here, Mitsuki. Stand aside, please." Miku asked.
"Afraid I can't do that." W-Mitsuki said before he brought out the PrismBicker. "Miku…You and Hibiki were my best friends for years, but if you're dead set on going on the wrong path…"
W brings out the Prism Memory to insert into his sword to pull it out.
[PRISM]
"Then I'll do everything I can to stop you." W-Mitsuki said as he pointed his sword at her.
At first, Miku was hesitant to fight W but the neural interface took control and override her personal emotions. Miku sighed but smiled as she brought out her Armed Gear.
"Very well. Either way, I'm going to accomplish what I was chosen to do." Miku said.
W and Miku charged at each other, the two clash weapons a few times before Miku fired two energy shots at him and W deflected them with his shield, just as Miku swung her weapon at W, he blocked it with his shield bringing their weapons in a lock.
In their base, the members of Section Two were watching W's battle against the brainwashed Miku. As they watched, Sakuya was able to scan the readings of Miku's Symphogear.
"It's just like Philip-kun said! The energy waves of Miku-chan's Symphogear are able to disperse all other energy originating from relics!" Sakuya said.
"So the Symphogear are powerless against it? And with Kanade and Terui-kun still fighting, W is the only one who can fight her." Aoi said.
"Still…How can we free Miku-kun now that she's like this?" Genjuro said.
As Hibiki watches her friends fight each other, she can't stay here and do nothing anymore. She turns to Genjuro.
"Shisho!"
"What is it?" Genjuro said and saw the look in her eye.
Dr. Ver along with Maria and Nastassja were also watching W's battle against Miku.
"Just as I thought. Even though the Shénshòujìng is perfect against other relics, Gaia Memory users like W are another story. Especially since he's using that Xtreme power of his." Dr. Ver said before he chuckled. "But it doesn't matter. The light of the Shénshòujìng is now amplified by a human's phonic gain. If we focused that on the Frontier…"
"Maybe this time we could break the seal?" Maria said before Nastassja began to cough. "Mom!"
There's blood on Nastassja's mouth and on her hand and Maria grew even more concerned seeing that.
"Doctor! Help her!" Maria pleaded.
Ver rolled his eyes.
"It's a waste of perfectly good medicine, you know. But all right." Dr. Ver said before he moved behind Nastassja before using her personal elevator to go down and leave the cockpit.
"I have to do this. I have to." Maria told herself.
After destroying most of the Noises, Chris landed on a ship and took a moment to catch her breath. Chris then noticed the arm of a soldier's remains and saw it was holding a pendant of the soldier carrying his daughter in his arms.
Seeing that along with the other ashes remains greatly affected Chris. That's when she made her decision and hardened her resolve.
"I know. This is my cross to bear." Chris said before her memories with Philip appeared in her head, including the one she confessed her feelings to him when he was wounded by the Weather Dopant. "Philip…I hope you can forgive me for this."

In their battle, W blocks an attack from Miku which made him skid back before she fired her Flash attack at him and W quickly pressed the button on his sword to activate its' Maximum Drive.
[PRISM: MAXIMUM DRIVE]
"Prism Break!" W sends an energy wave at Miku's attack as both collide and create a large explosion as the smoke cloud surrounds W and Miku.
Miku used this chance to move through the smoke to attack W from behind but he saw her attack coming as he turned around to block with his shield.
W pushes her weapon back and swings his sword at Miku but her neural interface lights up as she quickly avoids it. Miku then attacks W with her Armed Gear and W was able to parry her attacks using both of his shield and sword before they brought both of their weapons in a lock.
'Damn…This is her first time using a Symphogear, but she's still able to catch up with us in Xtreme form!' W-Mitsuki thought and W-Philip spoke to him.
'No doubt because of that neural interface. It must be enhancing Miku-chan's muscle strength and mental abilities beyond normal human limits while providing her the ability to predict and calculate attack patterns like me. But at this rate, she'll end up killing herself as a result.'
'Then it's all the more reason we need to get it off of her!' W-Mitsuki mentally said before he and Miku pushed each other.
'That's easier said than done. If what Ver said is true, then removing the interface by force will only result in her death too.' W-Philip told his partner.
'Then figure it out, Philip. You're the brains here, just come up with a plan like you always do.' W-Mitsuki said.
'I've been trying. But at this point, the only way to save Miku-chan is if we use her power…Wait…that's it!' W-Philip said.
'What's it?' W-Mitsuki asked.
But before W-Philip could explain, Miku charges at W to attack him with her weapon, he blocks it with his shield but Miku is able to push W back and sends him off of the ship and is about to land into the water.
'Shit!' W thought.
Then coming to W's aid was Section Two's submarine which appeared from the water below him as he landed on top of it.
"Isn't this the submarine?" W-Mitsuki said.
That's when he saw the hatch opening and climbing out of it was Hibiki who sighed in relief.
"Whoa…looks like we made it." Hibiki said before she stood on the sub while W was shocked by this.
"Hibiki? What are you doing? You shouldn't be out here." W-Mitsuki told her as he approached her.
"Sorry, Mitsuki, but I'm going to stand by and do nothing. Especially seeing Miku like that." Hibiki said as she looked at Miku who was also looking at her and W. She then turns back to W. "So please…Let me help save her too"
"Hibiki…" W-Mitsuki said.
"If you ask me, it looks like she already made up her mind." W-Philip told his partner.
W-Mitsuki sighed before he chuckled and petted Hibiki on the head.
"I swear…I still find it surprising how reckless you can be." He said.
"Then I'll take it as a compliment." Hibiki said before she turned to Miku. "Miku…Let's go back home together."
"I can't." Miku stated before her visor opened up. "There's something I have to do."
"Something you have to do?" Hibiki said.
"'The radiance of your Gear will illuminate a new world,' he said. A world without fighting, where everyone can live happily." Miku explained.
"A world without fighting…"
"I don't want you, Mitsuki and Philip-kun to fight, so I'll create a world where you don't have to."
Hibiki then looks at the destruction that Miku had brought.
"But, Miku…If you create a new world this way, what warmth will it hold?" Hibiki questions her and Miku is left silent. "The world I most want to live in is the warm sunlight that envelops me when you, Mitsuki, Philip-kun and everyone are by my side."
"But you wouldn't have to fight in my new world." Miku stated.
"Guess she's doing a repeat of me." W-Mitsuki said. "You have a plan, don't you, Philip?"
"I do. And I'm pretty sure Hibiki-chan has the same idea as mine, right?" W-Philip asked and Hibiki nodded.
"What could that be exactly?" W-Mitsuki asked.
"Well…" W-Philip explained the details of what he had in mind which really surprised W-Mitsuki.
"What? Are you serious?" W-Mitsuki questions his partner's plan.
"It's the best chance that we have and it might be our only option given these extremes. Besides, if we play our cards right…" W-Philip said as he looked at Hibiki. "We may also hit another bird with the same stone."
Knowing that W-Philip is right as always, W-Mitsuki sighed in resignation while shaking his head.
"Honestly, how I have you as a partner is still beyond me. But I'm glad to have you at my side." W-Mitsuki said.
"Likewise. Though Hibiki-chan, I have to warn you, once you bring out your Symphogear you can only use it for 2 minutes and 40 seconds until you know what happens. Think you can hold out until then?" W-Philip asked.
Hibiki confidently smiles and nods.
"Hai! I can even finish this in half that time!" Hibiki said. "I really hate to do this, Miku. But if fighting you is the only way to save you, then I have no choice."
"I don't want to fight you." Miku said.
"Thank you. But I will fight all the same." Hibiki said before she sang. "Balwisyall nescell Gungnir tron…"
Hibiki soon changes into her Symphogear.
(Cue: Seigi wo Shinjite, Nigirishimete by Aoi Yuki)
As Hibiki begins to sing, she and W jump towards Miku, and she does the same to battle her longtime friends.
In their base, the Section Two members now watch the battle of Hibiki with W as they fight against Miku while keeping track of Hibiki's condition.
"Hibiki-chan has reached phase B!" Aoi said as she brought out a timer and it brought out the time limit for Hibiki.
"Beginning countdown!" Sakuya said.
True to Philip's words, the timer begins and counts down from 2 minutes and 40 seconds.
The three friends begin their battle midair as Miku blocks and parries punches and kicks from Hibiki along with some sword slashes from W before they land on a ship.
Only about 20 to 30 seconds have passed and Hibiki's body begins to heat up as the relic inside begins to spread and Hibiki begins to pant.
'It's so hot…I feel like my blood's about to boil.' Hibiki thought.
W notices that as he looks at Hibiki in concern.
"Hibiki…" W-Mitsuki said.
"I'm worried about her too, Mitsuki. But right now, we need to focus." W-Philip said.
"I know. Determination can't be measured by numbers. Pretty sure she said the same thing with Genjuro-san!" W-Mitsuki said before he and Hibiki charged at Miku.
Miku parried two sword slashes from W and deflected two kicks from Hibiki before she attacked both of them with her weapon with Hibiki crashing into the wall of the ship they were on.
Miku charges at Hibiki to attack her with cables, W jumps in to protect her as he uses his shield to block Miku's attacks.
As W continues to block Miku's attack, Hibiki remembers the words Genjuro told her when he allowed her to do this.
"The strain on your body that you're enduring is a real threat. If you overexert, it will lead to certain death! Don't forget that!"
'I'll die. I'm gonna die for sure.' Hibiki thought as she imagined the relic inside of her consuming her. It truly frightened her, but she remembered the promise she and Mitsuki made with each other.
"I'm still going to keep my promise in saving Miku, but knowing how stubborn you are, I just know you'll do the same despite my warnings. So I'll make this promise to you, whenever you're in a pinch and when you end up in a life or death situation, I'll do whatever I can to help you, no matter what."
"And I promise I'll do the same for you too."
'There's no way I'm dying!' Hibiki mentally shouted
She then extends the hammers on her boots to push herself and W forward to push Miku back.
Miku quickly recovers and brings out her mirror ring to fire her Meteoroids attack at Hibiki and W.
Hibiki grabs onto W as she jumps off of the ship as Miku's attack destroys it.
W quickly uses his Stag Phone to summon the RevolGarry. The Garry soon appeared out of the water and landed on a different ship before it opened to reveal the HardSplasher and it changes its Splasher part with the Turbuler, and W's Rider Machine launches to its Rider and W lands on it to fly.
Miku summons several mirror disks and uses them to fire more beams at W and Hibiki as they both avoid the beams.
Maria, piloting the tiltrotor, had arrived. She then pressed some buttons to deploy several flying drones as they surrounded W, Hibiki and Miku before the drones brought out a mirror to deflect Miku's beams at W and Hibiki as they did their best to avoid them.
But Hibiki begins to feel the relic spreading once again as yellow crystals and stone fragments appear on her scar.
In Section Two's base, the alarms begin to ring as the timer has reached 25 seconds.
"She's almost within the danger zone!" Aoi said.
As Miku continues to attack her friends, she begins to talk to herself as the interface continues to influence her.
"It's wrong to fight. Not fighting is the only way to reach a truly warm world. I have to free you from battle."
Hibiki's scar then begins to light up as large crystal stones appear around her body.
"Hibiki!" W-Mitsuki said. W-Philip uses his powers to study Hibiki's condition.
"Not good! She only has 20 seconds left!" W-Philip said.
After seeing that, Miku's eyes widened as she began to resist the neural interface's control over her. Her began to twitch and veins appeared.
"No! This isn't what I want to do! This isn't it!" Miku cries out as her visor opens revealing the tears on her eyes.
"Miku…!" W-Mitsuki said.
"She must be fighting the interface's control!" W-Philip said.
Both W and Hibiki turned to each other before they nodded, W and Hibiki then flew towards Miku at high speed.
'If he's controlling Miku like a puppet!' Hibiki thought.
'Then we just need to shatter his control!' W thought.
W jumps off of his HardTurbuler as he and Hibiki grabs onto Miku which shatters the mirror ring and the disks.
"Let me go!" Miku shouted.
"No! Never again! I'm never letting you go again!" Hibiki said.
"And that goes double for me!" W-Mitsuki said.
"Mitsuki! Hibiki!" Miku cries out.
W-Philip then saw the drones had reflected all of Miku's beams in one point.
"Hibiki-chan! Now!" W-Philip said.
Hibiki nodded as she used her boots' hammers and thrusters to launch herself and her friends towards the beams' concentrated point.
"The path to the Frontier opens now!" Maria said as she directed the drones.
As the drones were about to fire the combined force of the Shénshòujìng's beams of light, Hibiki continued to head towards them with W and Miku as they continued to hold her. W-Mitsuki then remembers the plan W-Philip had come up with.
"Used Miku's own power against her?"
"That's right. If the Shénshòujìng is indeed a relic that's able to erase other relics and Symphogear. Then…"
"It is no exception to that rule!" W and Hibiki shouted together.
The drones soon reflected the concentrated beams to the last drone as it fired to its designated target and W, Hibiki and Miku made it to the line of fire as it hit them along with the target. Then the light of the Shénshòujìng soon engulfed all three of them.
(End of song)
But the beam of light did not stop there as another drone reflected it as it went straight down deep into the ocean. Then a massive pillar of light emerges from deep within the water as it reaches to the sky.
The Kamen Riders, the Dopants, Tsubasa and Kirika stop their battle as they look at the pillar of light.
"What the…?" Accel said.
"The hell this is?" Thunder said.
"So he finally broke the seal." The Weather Dopant said.
The Section Two crew along with Maria and the Terror Dopant and his daughters look at the pillar in awe.
"Amazing. Xtreme's awakening was magnificent enough, but this is truly awe inspiring. You have truly impressed me, Dr. Ver." The Terror Dopant said
From his own chair along with the elevator, Dr. Ver had returned to the cockpit with a smirk on his face to see that his plan to break the Frontier's seal had succeeded.
"The plan succeeded. The seal has been broken. Look…The Frontier surfaces!" Dr. Ver said.
After what seems like an eternity, the pillar of light disappears but that's when a massive and ancient city emerges from the ocean.
As the city begins to rise, it causes large and heavy waves shaking most of the ships around it as they move away from it.
As Tsubasa and Kirika look at the rising city, someone armed with a gun, aimed at Tsubasa from behind and fired on her three times.
Tsubasa falls to the ground, Kirika quickly turns to see who the shooter was and has a stunned look on her face.
Despite her weakened and stunned state, Tsubasa was able to raise her head and could hear the shooter walking towards her. Tsubasa was able to see who the shooter was and to her shock it was Chris.
"Yukine…?" Tsubasa mutters.
Chris then aimed her gun at Tsubasa and told her this one word.
"Goodbye."
The sound of Chris firing her gun could be heard as it echoed throughout the area.
