"May I ask..."
Meiko asked the group with a glare, her arms crossed on the chest.
"What are you guys doing in here?"
"Mei-chan, actually..." Kaito tried to explain.
Meiko's eyes then focused to Chika and Rana. Her eyes widened a bit when both of them dressed like a pair of fisherwomen, and the former even carried a fishing rod with her.
"Don't mind me, I just want to catch some fishes in here" Rana simply said.
"And crabs!" Rana added.
"Fishing in school? Are you being serious?" Meiko replied.
"Or did you guys are hiding something from me?" Meiko replied with a suspicious look.
Sora then looked at Meiko.
"We're hunting aliens" Sora said.
"Aliens?" Meiko was completely surprised in confusion.
"We just received a letter from them, and it might be some kind of warning"
Sora gave Meiko the letter.
"Let's see..."
Meiko was hesitant to read tge letter at first, but well... perhaps she didn't have any other choice left.
And of course she couldn't understand it. She wondered, what kind of writing was that? Her eyes even widened in shock.
"What in the name of SCP Foundation is this?" Meiko was disbelieved.
"See? No one couldn't even understand it! So that's why we believe it was the aliens who sent the letter!" Kaito gave his justification.
"It's the greatest discovery we ever found in our school!" Azuki exclaimed.
Meiko however threw away the letter, much to Kaito's own shock.
"MEI-CHAN, WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?" Kaito yelled.
"Now please tell me what kind of silly games are you stooges playing right now?"
"Umm...Monopoly?" Rana said.
"But we already sold our hotel to Muzan Kibutsuji" Chika replied.
"Alright, let me explain..."
Meiko took a deep sigh before finally spoke.
"Listen, I don't even care if you guys are started seeing strange or are investigating paranormal stuff, but let me to remind you that THERE ARE NO ALIENS IN OUR SCHOOL! You got it?"
"But, Mei-chan-"
"NO BUT! Now everyone, please go home and get some rest!" Meiko ordered.
Kaito only frowned while Azuki and Sora quietly exchanged looks.
"Let's go, Rana" Chika said as she walked away from them. Rana then followed her from behind.
...
"Of course I knew it! The aliens are ones who sent the letter!"
Inside the cafeteria, Kaito sat together with Sora and Azuki as they were having lunch together.
"We can't just sit quietly on our chairs and do nothing!" Kaito was upset. He then took an egg-and-mayo sandwich from the tray.
"You know, Sakine-san is not a person who easily believesin any extraterrestrial or paranormal stuffs" Azuki held a small carton of grape juice.
"But we don't if the aliens are going to invade our schools for real!" Kaito had his own reason to worry.
"So what will we do next?" Sora asked.
"We need to figure out a more effective way to solve this mystery!" Kaito was running out of fresh ideas.
As Kaito was still discussing with them, Azuki somehow spotted a small group of three students from Class 3-C who sat together on the same table - Rui, Tsukasa and Mafuyu.
"Here's I presenting you..." Rui was about to show them a surprise.
Tsukasa and Mafuyu looked together at their classmate.
"My latest invention!"
It was a very small control car about the size of hand palm.
"A car toy?" Tsukasa was little bit confused.
"It's not a car toy, Tsukasa-kun. It's the smallest control car you ever seen in your life!" Rui exclaimed with a satisfied smirk.
"For what purpose are you creating this?" Mafuyu asked out of curiousity.
And an idea just appeared in Azuki's mind.
"Guys! I know what should we do!"
...
"Are you sure this gonna work for real?" Sora was a bit skeptical.
"Trust me, it will!" Azuki smiled.
Komachi successfully acquired a special control car from Fukase, the cafeteria staff. Attached on it was a small camera designed for surveillance and espionage, connected to webcam inside his laptop (Azuki also borrowed it).
Inside the teacher's lounge, Azuki checked the webcam, with Kaito and Sora stood behind her.
"There's a high possibility that the aliens will appear in the ground floor, so that's why I placed the control car in there!" Azuki explained.
"Well, let's give it a try then!" Kaito was excited.
For the first two minutes, the control car only roamed through the hallways, with the teachers observed the surroundings from the webcam.
"No any suspicious sightings so far" Sora said.
"Maybe we can wait for a little bit longer" Azuki replied.
"I want to get my ice cream!" Kaito then walked to the fridge.
Komachi suddenly received a call via her phone.
"Ah! it's from Kohaku!"
She took her phone and answered the call, quickly walked away from the laptop.
But if she choose to stay, she will saw a group of female night class students who just walked from downstairs from the webcam.
...
The female students from Night Class 3-D - Ena and Kanade walked downstairs together, heading towards the school store.
Kamikou night class students were lucky when Chika still operated the store in the night shift.
(Meanwhile)
Inside the school store, Chika and Rana watched the news together as they ate instant noodle cups.
"Strange sightings were reported by local folks in Tahiti..."
"I wish it's a flying dolphin" Rana said.
(Now back to night class schoolgirls)
"Shifting to day classes indefinitely? This in unfair!" Ena whined. "I hate waking up early!"
"What we can do? The principal had to comply with Foundation's orders" Kanade sighed. "Imagine if the Foundation held our principal at the gunpoint"
(Kanade's imagination)
"Shall you disobey our orders, we have the right to execute you on the spot!" a Foundation officer wearing a sunglasses warned as he aimed his gun against Principal Ueki.
"No! Don't shoot me please!" Principal Ueki raised his hands in fear. Vice-Principal Yukitsubaki only remained silent with a grim expression.
(End of flashback)
"I think that was too much, Kanade" Ena commented.
They just reached the ground floor when Ena just spotted something on the floor.
A control car.
To be continued...
