Lloyd POV: After I got back to the Bounty we split into three teams to search faster. Zane and Pixal were taking the north, Cole and Jay were at the east, and Nya and I were heading to the south. We didn't bother with the west because all of the buildings were actively in use. Plus, Borg himself verified that they were nowhere in the area. However, after checking four of the warehouses we found nothing. And Nya was starting to get impatient. I didn't blame her because I was also getting frustrated.
When we were leaving the fifth one she commented, "This isn't getting us anywhere."
I sighed a little and said, "I wish we could just find him already too, but we have to keep trying."
"But how likely is it that they stayed in one? They have to realize by now we are getting closer, right?"
I didn't answer that right away. I just jumped in the vehicle and headed towards the next warehouse. Mostly because she did have a point. It would make more sense to change locations to avoid detection. At the same time, though, I remembered what Cole said. If they wanted answers from him they couldn't just keep moving. That would ruin the interrogation process, but I wasn't going to say that out loud.
We all agreed that we weren't going to tell Nya until after. She was already stressing out from his capture. The last thing she needed was to find out that Kai was most likely getting tortured right now.
So, after I cleared my throat, I finally responded. "We just have to hope that they didn't. Besides, there are a lot of warehouses. If they were going to move it would be another one. That's usually what criminals come up with. They're usually not that smart."
She just looked at me, trying to read me I think, before nodding slightly. I don't think she believed me, but she wasn't questioning me either. So I'll count that as I win and focus up. I just hope that Kai won't be in terrible shape when we finally find him.

Nya POV: Lloyd is really bad at lying, and keeping secrets. Especially ones that I already know. He and Cole didn't see me, but I was also on the deck when they were talking. A part of me froze when Cole mentioned the potential torture that Kai was going through. However it just made me more determined to find my brother. Though I avoided mentioning that I overheard them just so we could focus. They didn't need that extra burden and Kai needed all of our focus right now. That's what I was doing, and I'll keep doing that until this is over.
We arrived at the next place I jumped out and took off to start the search. Hoping that he was here and this would be over. But I had a gut feeling that said wasn't where he was. But I'm still going to look, since sometimes that feeling was wrong. Hang on Kai, I promise you that we're getting closer to you. Please stay strong brother.

Kai POV: I don't know how long I was left alone, but it didn't feel very long. And when they came back the leader guy had a big grin on his face, along with a large duffle bag. By the sound of it, there was something metallic in there. That gave me a bad feeling, but I didn't let it show. I stared back until his partner closed the door. That's when I noticed that he was more nervous than before. Like he wasn't sure to expect. That can't mean anything good.
"Well, ninja, have you decided to tell me what I want to know?" He asked, and I rolled my eyes.
"Are you hard of hearing? I'm never telling you anything." I responded, despite how much it hurt. Though I managed to keep it out of my voice.
I thought he would get mad, but he just strangely laughed at my response. He then commented, "You'll soon wish that you did."
He gestured to his partner, but he just got more uncomfortable. "I… Don't you think this is going too far?"
But the leader just raised an eyebrow and said, "Are you going against me?"
That made the other guy even more nervous and he quickly shook his head. "I-I just thought we could… think of something else…"
The leader just sighed deeply and said, "If this ninja wasn't so stubborn then maybe. But this is the hand that we were given. Now, do what you're told."
The other guy was still very nervous, but he finally nodded. He started to get something ready as the leader approached me. And, with a big grin on his face that seemed so twisted.
"Since you won't give me what I want, I thought you could answer another question instead." He said, with a weirdly excited tone.
"And what would that be?" I asked, mockingly. But then I saw what was in the bag.
They were two large chains and his partner started hooking them up to the walls beside me. I only saw them a couple of times, but I knew that they were used for nindroids. However, I was confused by why they were here. It really didn't make any sense, but I don't think they're going to keep this a secret.
Instead of answering me, he just walked around me and started to untie my hands. This made me more confused. Because who would just untie their prisoner?
As he finished he yanked the chair out from under me, and violently kicked me to the ground before I could react. I groaned and coughed a little as I felt everything hurt even more. But he didn't give me a break. He roughly grabbed my left arm and wrapped the chain around it, and did the same on the other side.
Not just on my wrists, but my whole upper arms. Making me think that something else was going to happen. Maybe another beating, probably. Though I don't think they would go through the effort just for something he already tried. They were making all the pain a thousand times worse, and it opened the stab wound that had only just stopped bleeding. So that's great.
The leader grabbed something else from the bag and faced me. "I assume that you know what these are."
He tapped the chains, but I didn't respond. But he just continued, "These will be very important in answering my burning question."
"And that would be?" I asked, and his smile widened.
He raised the thing he grabbed, now I could see it was a remote of some kind, and answered. "How much heat can the Fire Ninja take?"
And he pressed the button. It didn't happen right, but I could instantly feel the heat. It was getting stronger fast. I dropped my head and focused on my breathing, but it didn't help. The chains were insanely hot and I could feel them burning my sleeves fast. I knew what was going to come next, and I braced myself.
Soon I could feel them melting my skin and sinking into my arms. The agony that followed… I couldn't stop myself from screaming. It didn't matter that everything else hurt, nothing else could compare. I couldn't focus or stop screaming until I felt a cold hand roughly grab my chin.
The leader was the one who did, and he looked really proud of himself. He said, "Had enough? Will you tell me what I want to know? I'll end this torture if you say yes."
I wanted it to stop, since now I could smell my burning flesh in the air. Even his partner couldn't look at me. But the answer is obviously the same. I glared back and spit in his face.
He was surprised and threw my face away before wiping it away. Now he was clearly upset, and I thought he would just leave me here to suffer. But he did hit the stop button. And thankfully the intense heat cooled as fast as it started. But now I was aware of everything, and I was now exhausted. Though that didn't stop him from cutting me loose so I could drop hard on the floor. I could barely look up, however I could hear them talk.
"Please tell me you're not doing that again?" The partner asked, with an extremely shaky voice.
The leader sighed roughly and said, "Not for now. But we're going to need a new plan. Come with me."
They left, one obviously quicker than the other, and I just laid there. Neither one of them bothered to tie me up, not that it mattered. I had no strength left to even lift my head. Let alone escape now.
Plus, I couldn't stop myself from passing out soon after.
