Hello everyone. Welcome to the sequel to Loud Of Steel.
This story will pick up from chapter 199 of Loud Of Steel, so just after the battle with Darkseid.
As always, I always welcome suggestions, especially ideas for future villains.
So without further ado, lets get to it.
It has been one week since the battle with Darkseid. During that time, all the heroes were resting. Though, while the were resting, Lori had found out that Officer Justin J, Johnson had posted a video. He had traveled to Fort Worth, which is where the heroes fought Darkseid. He said that Superboy was to blame for the destruction, and he claimed that Darkseid would have never come here if Superboy wasn't here. The heroes were annoyed, but they decided to ignore it. After all, the public didn't agree at all with Justin's claims.
Also, some of the Louds received new hero outfits. Lucy's new outfit was a black suit with an 8 on the chest, and she kept her cloak. Lola's new outfit was a pink suit that had a picture of a jewel on the chest, and she kept her cape and tiara. Lana's new outfit was a dark blue suit that had a picture of a wrench on the chest.
At the current moment, Lincoln Loud aka Superboy and his girlfriend Jordan Rosato aka Sungirl were doing some hero work. They had just helped some people that were in an auto accident, now they were enroute back to Royal Woods because Superboy heard that the mercado was being held up.
Back in Royal Woods at the mercado, a robber was holding up Hector.
"Give me the money, and you won't get hurt." The robber said.
"Ok, just take it easy." Hector said calmly while opening the register.
Suddenly, Superboy and Sungirl burst through the front door. Both Hector and the robber turned toward them.
"Oh great, you two are here? What are the odds?" The robber asked.
The two heroes didn't answer. Instead they both flew forward and punched the robbers lights out.
"Thank you, you two." Hector said.
"No problem." Superboy responded.
Suddenly, the door burst open again. Everyone turned and saw that it was Officer Justin J. Johnson.
"YOU, SUPERBOY!" He yelled. "TRYING TO DO THE WORK OF THE POLICE AS ALWAYS!"
Superboy and Sungirl rolled their eyes.
"I'm not even gonna bother with you." Superboy said.
"You already have!" Justin responded. "You bothered with me when you started your vigilante ways. Taking down criminals is the job of the police, not you. Now surrender so I can take you in!"
"Never gonna happen." Superboy said.
"Don't you have anything better to do?" Sungirl asked Justin.
"This is the best thing I can be doing, arresting Superboy." Justin responded pointing his gun at Superboy. "SURRENDER!"
Superboy simply incinerated the gun with his heat vision.
"You know that bullets have no effect on me." Superboy boasted.
"Add in destruction of police property to your list of crimes!" Justin scolded.
The police chief, along with other officers, came in to the mercado.
"Justin, what have I told you about harassing Superboy?" The chief asked.
"HE'S THE ONE WHO'S CAUSING ALL THE PROBLEMS!" Justin yelled. "I KEEP TELLING YOU WE NEED TO ARREST HIM!"
"He's not the one causing problems, you are!" The chief countered. "Not only do you harass Superboy in person, but you also post videos online spreading lies about him! This is your last warning! If you harass Superboy, or any of his team again, you will be fired!"
"FIRED?!" Justin exclaimed.
"That's right, fired!" The chief confirmed. "Now get back to the station!"
Justin growled and stormed out of the mercado. The chief then turned to the two heroes while the other officers apprehended the robber.
"Thank you Superboy and Sungirl, for stopping that punk." The chief said.
"No problem." Superboy said.
"It's what we do." Sungirl said.
The Loud hero and the Rosato hero then walked out and flew off.
Later on, Lincoln and Jordan were at the Rosato mansion. They were in the living room cuddling on the couch.
"This is nice." Jordan said. "After a long day of saving people, its great to be in your arms, Linky."
"And I love having you in my arms, my love." Lincoln replied.
Lincoln then kissed Jordan's forehead. Jordan then snuggled further into her boyfriends chest while Lincoln rested his chin on his girlfriends head.
"Justin sure is annoying." Jordan said.
"He sure is." Lincoln agreed. "But he's no threat to us. He's just an annoyance."
"That's true." Jordan agreed. "I'm glad no one falls for his lies."
"That's because everyone is smart." Lincoln replied. "The public knows I'm a hero."
"I'm glad." Jordan said.
Lincoln and Jordan continued to cuddle for a while.
About an hour later in the back of the mansion, Lincoln and Jordan were now in the pool. Lincoln was wearing his usual orange swim trunks and Jordan was wearing a yellow bikini. They were both wearing sunglasses, and they were sitting on floating loungers.
"This is the life." Jordan said.
"It sure is." Lincoln agreed.
Lincoln and Jordan continued enjoying each others company in the pool.
Justin is far from done.
