Lets get to it.
The next day, all the heroes were suited up and gathered in the living room ready to head for the island where their monster allies lived. Lana was definitely the most excited.
"Can you believe it, Lincoln?" Lana asked giddily. "We're actually gonna see where our friends live."
Lincoln chuckled, finding his little sister's excitement adorable.
"We sure are, Lans." Lincoln replied.
"This is gonna be awesome, big brother." Lana cheered jumping into Lincoln's arms.
"Sure is, my little grease monkey." Lincoln replied.
"Me and Jay got some gifts for them." Leni announced. "We mainly got them steaks. Jay cooked them the only way he knows how. He's totes an excellent cook."
"Yes, but chef Jay Mcbride doesn't reveal his kitchen secrets." Jay said. "Except to my Leni-cakes."
"Aww, you are totes sweet, Jay." Leni cooed.
"Thanks, Leni." Jay replied.
They both shared a kiss.
"It's true, Clyde's always saying how Jay is an amazing cook." Lincoln added.
"It's true, he and I are always coming up with amazing dishes." Clyde said.
"Well Clyde, you taught me everything I know." Jay said.
"Alright, so are we all set to go?" Lori asked.
"We are." Lana answered.
"Then let's go." Lori said.
Lucy then teleported the team to the island where their monster friends resided.
The heroes arrived at the island, and everyone was surprised by what they saw.
There were numerous large creatures here. There were dinosaurs, giant crabs, sabertooth tigers, giant spiders, giant scorpions, giant insects, sea serpents, and dragons.
"Giant spiders." Eleven Of Hearts uttered fearfully. "G-giant spiders."
"Easy, Eleven Of Hearts." High Card said. "With Royal Flush with us, they won't hurt you."
"O-O-Ok." Eleven Of Hearts said uneasily.
The heroes the kept on exploring. After a few minutes, they found their allies, Fenrir, Dale, Mammoth, Loch Ness Monster, Siren, Quetzalcoatl, Giganta, and Mountain King. There was also a new monster standing alongside Fenrir.
She was a bipedal cat that stood at 389 feet tall. She had silver chrome skin and red stripes. She had green eyes and had super strength, fast reflexes, and could fire green lasers from her eyes.
"Hey, guys." Royal Flush greeted.
The monsters all greeted them back.
The cat monster looked at them in confusion. Fenrir then growled something to her. She then greeted them as well.
"She says her name is Bastet." Royal Flush translated. "And she's Fenrir's mate."
High Card and Eleven Of hearts squealed at this.
"Me and Eight Of Spades were actually aware of this." Card Counter said. "We found some ancient Norse and Egyptian texts that mentioned them."
"By the way, we got you all something." Eleven Of Hearts said handing them the steaks.
The Deuce then proceeded to grow each steak to giant size for the monsters. Once the steaks were giant, the monsters ate. When they were finished, they all growled in delight.
"They say this is the best thing they've ever eaten." Royal Flush translated.
The monsters nodded and continued their way.
Suddenly, the heroes were surrounded by fox humanoids with blue fur. The males wore pants, were shirtless, and they wore a blue-bronze collar. The females wore shirts that exposed their bellies and arms, long skirts, and they wore a green-bronze collar. All of them were armed with jade swords, spears, bow and arrows, and daggers.
The heroes instantly took fighting stances.
"We are the Val'ee!" One of them said. "You outsiders are a threat! Now we will eliminate you!"
"Hang on, we're not a threat." Superboy assured. "We just came here to see our monster friends."
"It's true, we're superheroes." Sungirl followed up. "We've saved the world many times."
"How do we know you're not lying?" Another Val'ee asked.
"Perhaps this will show you that we are indeed true to our word." Card Counter replied.
Her helmet then displayed some of the battles the heroes have done. Among the battles displayed was their battle with Darkness, Lex Luthor, The Slicer, Steppenwolf, Windham Wyatt, Doomsday, and Darkseid. When the Val'ee saw this, they were a little more convinced.
"Alright, you all seem true to your word." The first Val'ee said. "Ordinarily we give outsiders one year to gain our trust, but this time, we'll leave it to Captain Nemo."
"Who's Captain Nemo?" The Barrier asked.
"He's the only human living here." Another Val'ee answered. "He's 234 years old, but he stays young thanks to a blue and yellow flower that only grows on this island. That flower makes anyone who consumes it immune to diseases, and grants them agelessness, and longevity. He came here from India and currently lives in a submarine he invented all those years ago because he dislikes the hate and atrocity the world can have."
"Well, where can we find him?" Shazam asked.
"Follow us." Came the reply.
The Val'ee then led the heroes to Captain Nemo's submarine.
After a while, they reached the submarine. The submarine had the name 'Nautilus' written on the side. It was made of iron, steel, bronze, and titanium. The submarine looked like a whale with a drill at the front, and was painted black. One of the Val'ee knocked on it. Soon enough, Captain Nemo stepped out. He had light brown skin, black hair, green eyes, and wore a black and blue navy uniform, and dark brown boots. He was also armed with a pistol and a sword.
Once he emerged from the Nautilus, he immediately saw the heroes.
"Orion, who are these outsiders?" Captain Nemo asked.
The Val'ee named Orion stepped forward.
"They are apparently heroes of the world." Orion answered. "According to them, they've saved the world many times. The now in the green armored suit showed us proof with her helmet. Also, some of the monsters here our their friends. Turns out they've fought alongside them for some of their battles."
"Why should I trust them?" Captain Nemo asked. "The world has so much hate in it, so many lies are told. How do I know they're not the same?"
"Captain Nemo, I assure you that we are trustworthy." Superboy said. "Maybe you're right, the world can have hate at times, but it doesn't dominate the world. There's alot more good in the world than bad. I know, I've saved many good people, and I never get tired of helping others."
Then, the monsters arrived and nodded at Captain Nemo in agreement. Captain Nemo pondered this.
"Well, since the Val'ee and these monsters trust you kids, I suppose I can trust you all too." Captain Nemo said. "But let me ask you something, do you have any enemies that could threaten us?"
"Just two main ones, The Slicer, and Lex Luthor." Superboy answered. "But don't worry, if they try anything, we'll take care of them. We all defeated our most powerful villain ever, Darkseid. If we can take Darkseid down, we can take down any evil threat."
"YEAH!" The heroes cheered.
"Very well." Captain Nemo said.
For the rest of the day, the heroes all hung out with their monster friends, and got to know some of the other residents there. After a fun day, the heroes all went home.
Next up is Albert and Myrtle's wedding.
