Hello everyone.
Time for the Louds to leave for Albert and Myrtle's wedding.
Now for the reviews.
beninator5: I'll see what I can come up with for Paris.
avenger44: Awesome.
Lord Demon: Awesome.
Lets get to it.
It was now the beginning of the last week of summer vacation. This meant that after this week, the Louds would be back in school, and Lori would be leaving for Fairway University. But before this happened, the Louds would be traveling to Maui, Hawaii, for a very special occasion. Albert and Myrtle were getting married. The Louds would leave today, and be there until the end of the week. Lauren would watch over things here and Jordan would come too to help out, mainly with feeding the pets.
Right now in Lincoln and Landon's room, the boys had just finished packing.
"Can you believe that Pop-Pop and Myrtle are finally getting married?" Lincoln asked.
"I know, it's awesome." Landon responded. "We'll have the coolest Gran-Gran ever."
"We sure will." Lincoln agreed.
The two white haired boys then grabbed their luggage and left their room. In the hallway, it was chaos as everyone was getting ready as well. Lynn then emerged from her room and saw the boys.
"Hey bros, ready for this?" Lynn asked.
"You bet." Landon answered.
Landon then went downstairs.
"Uh Lynn, where's your luggage." Lincoln asked.
"Oh, I don't need it." Lynn answered. "I'm wearing all the underwear I'm planning on using for the trip."
"Well, whatever floats your boat." Lincoln responded.
Lynn laughed and pulled Lincoln into a hug, which he returned.
"So Lynn, are you excited for the wedding?" Lincoln asked.
"Hell yeah!" Lynn answered. "This will be an all star wedding."
"It sure will." Lincoln agreed.
"Alright kids, time to go!" Lynn Sr. called out.
"There's alot of us checking in for the flight, so we need to be early." Rita followed up.
The Loud kids all clamored down the stairs and got into Vanzilla to head to the airport. The Loud parents got in and they drove to the airport. They would meet Albert and Myrtle at the airport.
At the airport, the Louds, Albert, and Myrtle all checked in with no problem. They boarded the plane and took their seats. The seats were in rows of three, so the seating arrangement consisted of Lincoln, Luna, and Lynn in one row, Landon, Leni, and Luan in the row in front of them. One row up was Linka, Lori, and Lola. The row after that was Lucy, Lana, and Lisa. Then was Lily, Rita, and Lynn Sr. Finally, Albert and Myrtle were seated in front of them.
When boarding was complete, the plane backed out of the gate and fired up its engines. It then drove to the runway and lined up with it. The plane then raced down the runway and took off, bound for Maui.
A few hours into the flight, the Louds were all doing their own thing. Although Lynn Sr. was seriously airsick. It made the kids glad that they weren't sitting next to him.
During the flight, Lincoln, Luna, and Lynn got to talking.
"I'm glad we're finally getting a Gran-Gran dudes." Luna said.
"I know, right." Lincoln replied. "Of course we had Great Grandma Harriet, but unfortunately she's long gone. No matter how much time has passed, I still miss her."
Great Grandma Harriet had passed away when Lincoln was eight years old. She loved all her great grandkids, but she was closest to Lucy, with Lincoln being in a close second. She knew about him being from another world and his powers, and she helped him greatly in controlling his powers. In fact, when Lincoln first learned that he was from another world, Harriet was there for him. She told him that his powers and him being from another world didn't make him any less him, and that it made him special. She also told him never to let anyone tell him that he was not one of them if he decided to tell anyone, but to only tell those he absolutely trusted. These events made Lincoln and Harriet grow closer, but then two years later, Harriet passed away. The Louds were all mourning her loss, but Lincoln and Lucy were the most devastated.
Luna and Lynn sympathized with their little brother. Luna still remembered the talk she had with Lincoln one day.
(Flashback)
12 year old Luna was walking upstairs to her room. Most of the Louds were still mourning the loss of Great Grandma Harriet, but Lincoln and Lucy were taking it the worse.
Luna wasn't sure what she could do with Lucy, but she felt alot more confident that she could cheer up her brother. She walked over to Lincoln's room and knocked on the door.
"Yes." Lincoln called out in a gloomy tone.
Luna opened the door and saw Lincoln lying in bed in his pajamas just looking at the ceiling.
"Linky, are you ok?" Luna asked.
"I don't know." Lincoln sadly answered.
Luna then climbed into his bed and wrapped Lincoln in her arms. They stayed like this for a few minutes.
"It's like a...a bad dream." Lincoln said.
"I know baby bro." Luna said. "But, Great Grandma Harrier was over 100 years old, she lived a long life. She's in heaven now."
"I know." Lincoln replied with tears welling up in his eyes. "I just miss her so much."
"Me too, baby bro." Luna responded.
"And I could have saved her." Lincoln said.
This statement caught Luna off guard.
"What do you mean?" Luna asked.
"I should have been there." Lincoln said with tears rolling down his cheeks. "I could have been there, I could have done something, I could have helped her, but I wasn't there. I have all this power, but I couldn't save her. S-S-She was a-always there for me, b-b-but I couldn't be there for her."
Lincoln started crying, and Luna hugged him tighter and kept him inter embrace until his tears were done, which took a few minutes.
"Linky, there was nothing you could do." Luna soothed rubbing his back. "There wasn't anything anyone could do. Lincoln, you have incredible power, but you're not God."
"I never thought I was, and I'd be foolish if I thought I was." Lincoln replied. "I know I'm not God, and I never will be. I know that no matter how powerful I am, God is infinitely more powerful."
"Exactly, little bro." Luna responded. "And all of us here are humans. Well, you're from another world, but you're still a living being that God created. We couldn't be more thankful that he gave us you to be our brother."
"Thanks, Lunes." Lincoln said with a small smile.
"You're welcome, little dude." Luna said. "Anyway, the point is, It was Harriet's time. No one lives forever. But Harriet isn't truly gone, she's in heaven now watching over us, and I know that she will be proud of who you grow up to be."
LIncoln embraced Luna, and she returned the hug.
"Thanks Luna, you're the best." Lincoln said.
"Anytime, baby bro." Luna replied. "You know, Lucy's not doing too well either. She's taking this just as hard as you. Do you think you can cheer her up? Because let's face it, she loves you the most out of all of us. You have the best chance at cheering her up."
Lincoln then got off the bed.
"I'll do it." Lincoln stated. "You were here for me, your little brother. Now it's time for me to be there for my little sister."
Lincoln then walked out of his room and made his way to Lucy's room, with Luna watching him proudly.
(Present)
Luna smiled at that memory. She then wrapped an arm around Lincoln.
"We all still miss her, little dude." Luna said "But like I said four years ago, she's in heaven now."
"I know." Lincoln replied.
"You helped Lucy alot that day too." Luna added.
"It's true."
Luna and Lynn were startled by Lucy's sudden appearance, but Lincoln wasn't startled. Lucy then went to Lincoln and sat on his lap.
"You helped me deal with Great Grandma Harriets death." Lucy told him. "You've aways been there for me, big brother."
"I always will be, Luce." Lincoln responded.
Lincoln and Lucy hugged, which Luna and Lynn found adorable.
"You really are the best big brother to your little sisters, Linc." Lynn said.
"Yeah, and I remember when you were a baby." Luna added. "You were so adorable. I would often sing to you in your crib to help you fall asleep. You always found my singing so soothing. I remember one night, me and Lori were talking and you were asleep in your crib. We went over to you and watched you snooze. We both told each other how adorable you were, and how much we loved you. Then you woke up and reached out to us. I picked you up and you looked up at me with that adorable face. It was then I made you a promise."
"What was it?" Lincoln asked.
"That I would always be there for you, little dude." Luna answered. "I promised that I would always take care of you, and I would never let anyone hurt you."
"Aww Lunes, that's so sweet." Lincoln said touched.
Lucy then got off Lincoln's lap so that him and Luna could hug.
Several hours later, the Louds made it to Maui. They got on a shuttle and rode to their hotel. When they were checking in, they found out the receptionist was a man named Flop. He was Flips cousin, and he looked exactly like him. He also had a crab as his pet. While checking in, Rita found out that Flop was as big of a conman as Flip was.
When everyone was checked in and handed their room cards, everyone was all set.
"Ok, me and the girls are gonna go plan for Myrtle's bachelorette party tomorrow." Rita announced.
The girls all cheered.
"And me and Landon will be planning Pop-Pop's bachelor party for tomorrow." Lincoln followed up.
"Well, I look forward to seeing what my two mini-me's have in store for me." Albert said.
"I'm gonna check the catering." Lynn Sr said.
He then turned to Albert, Lincoln, and Landon.
"Are you sure you all don't need me at the bachelor party tomorrow?" Lynn Sr. asked.
"No senior, this is just for us white haired cool guys." Albert replied.
Albert then fist bumped with Lincoln and Landon.
"Oh, ok." Lynn Sr said.
"Come on, let's get planning." Linka cheered.
Everyone then went off. But what they didn't know is that someone had been watching them.
"Excellent, they're here."
They've made it for the wedding.
I hope you all enjoyed this chapter. Please leave a review.
