Goka struggled to her feet only a few short seconds after being knocked down, and she and her friends began discussing what to do. Goka wanted to immediately go after Raditz, and Krillin and Roshi offered to go with her, but she declined and told them that since they were already revived by the dragon balls, they couldn't be revived again.

At that moment, she suddenly sensed something and looked up, everyone else doing the same. To their shock, Piccolo was floating right above them. As the demon king reborn floated to the ground, Goka asked him,

"What are you doing here?"

Piccolo crossed his arms and replied,

"I was pursuing him, and as much as I'd like to kill the wretch myself, the sad truth is that I'd have a better shot at it if you were along for the ride."

"Hold on…you mean…team up with me? Why on Earth would you ever do that?"

"Don't get me wrong. This will just be a temporary alliance for the sake of eradicating that alien off of my planet. Of course, as soon as we're finished with that I plan to crush you like a bug…and then continue my plans for world domination!"

Goka thought about it for a moment, and eventually told Piccolo,

"Yeah, I think you're right about us needing to work together, as crazy as it sounds."

She then asked Bulma for the dragon radar, and she agreed, throwing the radar to the saiyan woman. Goka then called the flying nimbus and leaped on it, flying away alongside Piccolo. After a few minutes, the two arrived at the spot where Raditz was standing. Goka jumped off the flying nimbus and landed on the ground, with Piccolo touching down as well.

Radtiz smirked upon seeing the 2 of them and said,

"Oh hello, little sister. I see you've brought the green man with you. I was wondering what that other insignificant blip on my scouter was. I didn't think it was you."

Piccolo then threw off his cape and said,

"Alright, I've heard enough talk. You know why we're here."

Goka's face widened in surprise and she told Piccolo.

"Piccolo? I didn't know you trained with weighted clothing."

"What? You thought you were the only one?"

Piccolo then threw his turban off and remarked that he felt much lighter now. Curiously, Raditz scanned Piccolo's new power on his scouter. Upon reading the level he thought to himself,

'Hmph. 408. Pretty low for a namekian.'

Goka then began to take off her weighted clothing as well, and Raditz eagerly awaited his sister's true power. However, once she was done, the scouter only showed off a level of 400. Raditz was incredibly disappointed by this and yelled at Goka, telling her,

"Dammit, Kakarotta! Letting yourself be violated by one of these earthlings was bad enough, but now you've let yourself become so soft that even the green man is stronger than you?!"

Goka sweated a little at this. Her fears had now been confirmed. Having lost 9 months of training due to her pregnancy and having been moping for a while and barely training, Piccolo had now surpassed her, even if only barely. She just hoped that Piccolo wouldn't try to kill her after the fight was over, and if he did she hoped she could outsmart him.

As for Piccolo, he was smirking at this. From the sounds of things, his job just got a whole lot easier. Raditz then said,

"You know sister, I was thinking about my offer and I've…changed my mind. You'd probably just weigh the rest of us down."

The evil saiyan then screamed,

"YOUR A DISGRACE TO ALL SAIYANS, NOW PREPARE TO DIE!!!"

Despite this proclamation, Raditz was actually feeling relieved deep down. When he had initially told Vegeta and Nappa about his little sister on Earth, the 2 had planned to use her as a way to repopulate the saiyan race. Although Raditz had to comply or risk being killed, deep down he hated the idea of his little sister being used as breeding stock. But now was an excuse to put her out of her misery. At least she wouldn't be violated anymore than she already was if she was dead.

As Raditz tensed himself up for combat, Goka and Piccolo quickly got into fighting stances and the fight began. It was a spectacle, all 3 fighters moving faster than the human eye could track. Punches, kicks and ki blasts were being shot all over the arena. However, it was clear that Raditz had a massive advantage. Whatever Goka and Piccolo tried was easily countered and met with a violent series of blows.

Piccolo's right arm was eventually blasted off by a Double Sunday attack from Raditz, and as Raditz laughed and mocked him, the saiyan proclaimed,

"YOU SEE, KAKAROTTA?! ALL YOUR EFFORTS TO RESIST ARE POINTLESS! I'M 3 TIMES STRONGER THAN YOU ARE! EVEN WITH THIS GREEN MAN YOUR NO MATCH FOR ME!"

"That may be true, but if you think power's all there is, then you're no fighter!"

She then nervously looked at Piccolo and asked,

"Um, do you have any new techniques you've made in the past 5 years, Piccolo? Cuz I've got nothing."

Piccolo smirked and replied,

"It seems that motherhood has made you lazy, Goka. Luckily, I've been developing a technique I was originally planning to use on you. But it takes a while to charge. You'll have to hold him off for 5 minutes."

"Heh…that long? Alright, I'll try."

Goka then charged at Raditz and began fighting with him while Piccolo put 2 fingers to his forehead and began charging his energy. Goka tried her best to fight Raditz, but was clearly getting immensely overpowered. Even a full power kamehameha was blocked with one hand. Piccolo eventually managed to get enough energy gathered to fire the blast, but when he did, Raditz barely managed to dodge it.

Piccolo was shocked by this, but before Raditz could kill him, Goka grabbed her brother by the tail. Raditz desperately attempted to break free while Piccolo began charging up his attack again and yelled at Goka not to let Raditz go. However, Raditz began begging, telling his little sister,

"Please Kakarotta, I'm sorry! I promise I'll leave this planet and never hurt anyone again!"

Goka hesitated for a brief moment. This man had kidnapped her son, but at the same time he was her brother, her only biological family besides her son. Along with that, Tenshinhan had changed his ways after they fought, so why couldn't Raditz? So, she decided to let him go, only to be elbowed in the face once she let go of his tail. PIccolo yelled at her, calling her an idiot and then beginning to charge his Special beam cannon attack once again.

In the meantime, Raditz began stomping Goka in the chest. Her screams of agony rang out across the battlefield, and as Raditz prepared to kill her, he suddenly heard a crash. He looked to where his spacepod was and instead saw an angry Gohan staring at him. The half-saiyan boy then screamed,

"Stop…hurting…MY MOOOMMMMMYYYYY!!!!"

A shocked Radtiz read Gohan's power level, and it was 1307, a number that shocked the evil saiyan. Gohan then rushed forward in a rage and slammed into Raditz's stomach, staggering him and causing his armor to crack. The saiyan stumbled back as Gohan fell to the ground unconscious. Raditz was shocked and enraged by this, and went to kill Gohan. Goka begged him to stop, but Raditz refused to.

However, before the saiyan could kill the boy, Goka jumped up and grabbed him in a full nelson. She then yelled at PIccolo to fire the special beam cannon throwugh both of them, and despite Raditz's pleading, Goka yelled to Piccolo,

"DO IIIIITTTT!!!"

Piccolo replied,

"Right! Mankakosappooooooo!!!!!!"

Piccolo fired the blast at the saiyan siblings, and sure enough it pierced straight through them. The 2 fell to the ground, coughing up blood. It was at that moment that Goka's friends arrived in Bulma's aircraft and ran out to tend to their wounded friend. As they did so, Raditz asked himself,

"Kakarotta…why would she….? Now we're both dead!"

Piccolo smirked and responded,

"No, you die alone. Goka won't be gone for long. I'm sure her friends will see to it that she's revived within the week."

Raditz asked how that was possible, and Piccolo responded,

"On Earth, we have these things called the dragon balls. When you gather all 7 together, you can get any wish you want granted, including resurrecting the dead. So you see, it's Goka who will have the last laugh."

Upon hearing this, Raditz smirked through the pain and said,

"T-that's…where you're wrong….green man…this device on my face…it's also…also a transmitter….my saiyan…comrades….heard every single word. Now…they'll come here….and when they do….they'll slaughter all of you for those balls…they make me look like an ant….enjoy…this last year you have left in this world…you're…as good as dead."

Raditz then began laughing, and an enraged Piccolo quickly delivered the final strike, killing the saiyan. He then looked over to Goka and observed as her friends promised to revive her and she finally died. As her friends mourned over her body, it suddenly vanished. Piccolo thought to himself,

"Kami. I see you have a plan."

The reincarnated demon king then regenerated his arm that had been previously blasted off by Raditz, grabbed Gohan and told the Z fighters about what Raditz had said. He also told them about Gohan's potential and flew away.

Author's note: Hey, sorry that I sped through the Raditz fight. I've read the comments and I hear your criticisms. I also don't want to linger in familiar territory for too long, so from here on out, I'll try to cover as much change as possible. Trust me, things really start changing once Goka meets Nappa and especially Vegeta.
