Goka rushed through the skies on her flying nimbus, her heart pounding in her ears. She had spent the last 2 days running down Snake Way, and now was flying to the battlefield on her old cloud in order to preserve her stamina. She tried to sense for the energies of the others, but the only ones she could sense were Krillin and Gohan, albeit just barely. That meant…
'Oh no…'
As she neared the battlefield, she saw Nappa about to crush Gohan's skull in. she wouldn't be able to get there in time. He was going to kill her boy. She could have just sent Nimbus to grab Gohan before it was too late, but it was at that moment that Goka's motherly instinct took over. She let out a scream of,
"GOHAN-CHAAAAAANNNN!!!!!"
With all of the fighters there being momentarily distracted by Goka's scream, it gave her the time to rush forward and slam Nappa in the gut like a missile. The saiyan elite coughed up blood and fell to his knees in pain as Goka looked down on him with rage. Vegeta smirked upon seeing her, and as she looked up at him, he began looking her over.
She was certainly quite attractive, lithe yet muscular. He especially eyed her impressive bust and thighs, and that hostile, angry look in her eyes. The saiyan prince couldn't help but bite his lip a little at the sight. She would make a fine mate. However, Vegeta was broken out of his chance when he heard Goka's son yell,
"Oka-San!"
Upon hearing this, Goka turned around to face her son, her anger forgotten and replaced by concern for her boy. She ran up to him and cradled him in her arms, telling him,
"Don't worry, I'm here, Mommy's here…"
She then reached into the bag of senzus that Korin had given her and pulled out the last one, splitting it in 2 and giving one half to Gohan. Once the boy came too, Goka immediately embraced him in a tight hug, which was reciprocated immediately. She then ruffled his hair and told him,
"Wow, you've gotten so strong! I can sense it!"
"Yeah! Mr Piccolo's training helped a lot! But…"
He then looked at Piccolo's corpse sadly and said,
"I was still a coward…and Mr Piccolo had to die to save me…"
Goka noticed how sad Gohan was at Piccolo's death, and was suprised that Piccolo would give his life to save someone else, especially her son. She guessed that Gohan had rubbed off on him.
However, Kriilin then let out a weak,
"Ahem…"
Goka then looked at him and realized that in all the excitement, she had almost forgotten he was there. Apologizing, she walked up to him and gave him the other half of the senzu. The turtle monk got up and began telling Goka about what had happened. As he did, the saiyan woman began looking around at the bodies of her friends, seeing the lifeless Tien and Yamcha sprawled on the floor.
Noticing her distress, Nappa laughed and said,
"Hah! Don't tell your shocked that those losers are dead! Come to think of it, there was another one who blew himself to bits!"
Upon hearing this, Goka muttered,
"So Chiaotzu too…and Kami…you monsters…"
She then turned to Gohan and Krillin and told them,
"Both of you get out of here! I'll take this saiyan on myself!"
Krillin asked if she was sure, but an annoyed Goka then screamed at him,
"NOW!"
Surprised by this uncharacteristic anger, Krliin nodded and flew off, Gohan following after him reluctantly. Goka then turned her attention back to the saiyans and began powering up, shaking her ground with her strength. Vegeta and Nappa stepped back as rocks rose around her, with Vegeta reading her power level on his scouter in shock.
"6000…7000…it can't be…!"
Goka then let out a final shout as her power reached its peak, which even caused a fleeing Gohan and Krillin to stop and take in the strength that they were sensing. As the air cleared, Nappa asked Vegeta in slight fear,
"Hey Vegeta, What's wrong with you?! Tell me what her power level is!"
The saiyan prince couldn't help but suppress a smirk as he said,
"7800."
"7800?! That's impossible, there's no way that can be right!!"
Goka then seriously told him,
"Don't be so sure. I'll have you know I was trained in the art of Kaio-Ken!"
Vegeta questioned what kaio-ken was and Nappa tried to charge at Goka, only to be met with a kick to the back of the head. Unwilling to play games due to her anger at her son being hurt by him, Goka began laying a deadly series of blows on Nappa. The saiyan didn't have time to power up before Goka landed a monstrous gut shot, kicked him into the air and flew above him, landing a double ax handle that sent him flying to the ground.
Before he landed, she crashed into his back at the speed of light and then flew under him and held him with one hand, the impact from both causing his back to shatter. She then dropped Nappa, who was now paralyzed from the neck down. She looked at Vegeta and told him,
"He won't be able to fight anymore. Now take him and leave this planet for good!"
Vegeta gritted his teeth in anger at the audacity, but Nappa then raised his hand to him and said,
"V-Vegeta…please…help me…."
Disgust visible on his face, Vegeta grabbed Nappa's hand and threw him into the air. Nappa asked what he was doing, and Vegeta yelled,
"I HAVE NO USE FOR A SAIYAN WHO CAN'T MOVE!!! YOU'RE DEAD WEIGHT TO ME!!!"
The saiyan prince then powered up, electricity generating around his chest. This electricity soon converted into a bluish-white aura around his body, and he finally thrust his chest forward, firing a huge energy wave at Nappa, which completely vaporized him. Goka was horrified at this, and yelled at Vegeta,
"Why did you kill him?! He was your ally!"
Vegeta spat of the ground and replied,
"I already said that I have no use for a cripple. You defeated him, so you'd be more of a boon than him."
Goka cocked her head to the side at this remark, but then told Vegeta,
"Hang on. Before we fight, I wanna take this to a different location. I don't want my friend's bodies to be destroyed in the fight."
"Hmph, suit yourself."
The 2 then flew off, eventually finding a rocky desert where they both touched down, landing on 2 large rock formations. Vegeta chuckled, and then told Goka,
"So this is the battleground you've chosen."
Goka gave Vegeta a death glare, and the saiyan prince then told her,
"You should feel honored. It's not often that a lower class outcast gets to spar with a super elite like myself. When a saiyan is born, their battle power is measured. Those who score the poorest are shipped off to planets with weak inhabitants, just like you were."
"I was wondering who to thank for sending me to this wonderful planet. Besides, maybe even a low class girl can become the strongest saiyan if she puts her mind to it."
"Ha. That's a nice attempt at a joke. Now let me show you a wall you can never climb through training alone."
The saiyan prince then entered a combat stance, and Goka did the same. The 2 stared each other down, their hair and Goka's gi fluttering in the wind. Finally, Goka charged at Vegeta, the punch being swiftly blocked. The saiyan prince then remarked,
"Just as I thought. Your only 300 battle points above what Nappa would've been if he calmed down and used his head. You could never beat me!"
Vegeta then delivered an elbow to Goka's face, with the saiyan woman quickly recovering and yelling,
"Fine then! KAIO-KEN!!!"
Goka was then engulfed by a red flame like aura, launching forward and landing a punch to Vegeta's face. She then continued the assault, delivering more kicks before landing a final kick which launched Vegeta into the distance. Goka then gave chase, but Vegeta recovered, accelerated and retaliated with a powerful kick. The 2 then touched down on the ground, and Vegeta asked Goka,
"That power….just now, your speed skyrocketed and your power level jumped to over 15,000. How is that possible?"
Goka smirked in response to this question and replied,
"It's a technique I learned while dead called the Kaio-Ken. By controlling all the ki in your body, you can amplify it momentarily. If you do it right, your power, speed and everything suddenly go zoom! But if you don't control it just right…it'll destroy your body. That's why I didn't use it before."
"Is that so? Well then…"
He threw his scouter away and blasted it into oblivion.
"I won't be needing that."
The 2 then shared another staring contest with each other, both excited to keep going. They then charged at each other, beginning round 2.
Ok, for author's notes, I have something to say. When I first started writing this chapter, I was surprised to find that I had received 10 comments on this fanfic. I was surprised and planned to answer them all in this chapter. But when I was close to finishing this chapter, I looked again and saw that there are now 13 more comments than there were when I last checked!
