Vegeta flew through the air, going higher and higher into the Earth's atmosphere. However, the saiyan prince refused to let himself die to something like this. He broke free of the kamehameha, letting it ascend into the atmosphere and eventually fizzle out. The prince looked at the sky and was absolutely livid. He yelled to himself,

"DAMN IT!!! Why…WHY?! How could Kakarotta's power exceed my own? It's impossible…I AM A SAIYAN, THE STRONGEST THAT'S EVER LIVED!!!!"

However, after taking a brief moment to catch his breath, Vegeta suddenly came back to his senses and angrily thought to himself,

'Wait. Dammit, what did I just do?! I nearly eradicated the saiyan race's last chance at resurrection! I can't lose my cool like that again."

The saiyan then smirked and said to himself,

"As much as I hate to do it, it seems that I'll have to transform. A power second to only Lord Frieza himself should be more than enough to stop any more resistance from her! Fortunately I planned our arrival to coincide with a full moon, but that was only so we could destroy this planet quickly. I never thought I'd have to transform to defeat Kakarotta…"

Vegeta then began looking for the moon, but was shocked when he didn't see anything. He looked around frantically, wondering where the moon was. Meanwhile from Otherworld, King Kai smirked and mentally said,

"He he he, no matter how hard you search saiyan, it won't do you any good! Piccolo blew up the moon to stop Goka's son from rampaging a year ago! But still, Son Goka has nearly hit her limit. Vegeta's lack of transformation doesn't change the fact that she's in trouble. At this rate, her only hope is the spirit bomb…"

Back in the living world, Vegeta muttered to himself,

"Damn it all…that bitch must have destroyed the moon before we even started…!!!!"

Vegeta floated in silence for a moment, but then ominously said,

"Fine, so be it. My power might drop a bit…but the look on her face will be more than worth it!"

Vegeta then laughed evilly and floated to the ground, Goka getting on guard as soon as she saw him. The saiyan prince landed and yelled,

"YOU PROBABLY THOUGHT THAT BLASTING THE MOON OUT OF THE SKY WOULD BE ENOUGH TO OUTSMART ME, BUT THINK AGAIN!!!"

Goka was confused by this, but Vegeta then began explaining to her about blutz waves and how 17 million xenos of them would be enough to allow a saiyan to transform into an Oozaru. While the moon was usually necessary, there were a few saiyans, including Vegeta, who could make artificial moons that could trigger the transformation.

Vegeta then made a power ball in his hand and drew it back, yelling,

"Sorry to keep you waiting, Kakarotta! Your death is finally underway! Low class trash like yourself should know better than to challenge a super-elite like me on the battlefield!"

Upon seeing this, Goka thought out loud,

"His power went down the moment he made that weird light! What could he be planning?"

Vegeta then threw the power ball up into the air and yelled,

"Burst open and mix!"

A bright flash of light then ensued, causing Goka to have to shield her eyes from it. Once it cleared, Goka looked up and saw the artificial moon in the sky. Not understanding what was going on, she asked Vegeta,

"What…what did you do?"

Unbeknownst to Goka, King Kai was screaming in panic from his planet,

"It can't be! He created an artificial moon!!!"

Vegeta then laughed eviliy, telling Goka,

"You're going to regret losing your tail, Kakarotta!!!"

Goka turned her head to look at Vegeta, and her eyes widened in shock and horror as she saw that his eyes were completely red and he was starting to grow canine teeth. As all this was going on, Krillin and Gohan sensed Vegeta's massive power, and Gohan wanted to go help Goka. Krillin tried to persuade him not to, but the young boy rushed toward the battle anyway, Krillin following after him.

Back at the battle, Vegeta grew and grew, being covered in fur as Goka watched in horror. Eventually, the saiyan prince completed his transformation into the mighty Oozaru, now towering over Goka. Vegeta then yelled,

"WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THIS POWER, KAKAROTTA?! IMPRESSIVE, IS IT NOT?!"

Goka could only stammer out,

"A…a great ape…"

Vegeta continued his taunts, telling Goka,

"Let me let you in on a little secret, Kakarotta!!! The power of a saiyan in their Oozaru form is ten times greater than before! But don't worry, I'm not going to kill you! I need to repopulate our race after all! Instead, once I knock you unconscious, we're leaving this dirtball of a planet!"

However, Goka barely paid attention to Vegeta's words, instead slowly putting together pieces in her head. She remembered how her Grandpa Gohan had once told her to never look at a full moon, and how Kami had cut her tail off permanently in the early stages of her training. She fell to her knees and looked at her hands as the realization finally dawned on her. She said to herself in horror,

"I get it now…the monster who killed grandpa and destroyed the tournament grounds all those years ago…that was me…"

Tears began to flow down Goka's eyes as she mentally said,

'Grandpa…I'm sorry…If I get out of this, I have a lot of apologizing to do…'

Goka was so distracted that she barely noticed Vegeta launching a punch downwards at her. The saiyan woman barely managed to dodge it, but was then kicked towards a rock formation, slamming into it backfirst. She landed on her hands and knees and panted hard, muttering,

"Even at that size, he's still so fast…what do I do? There isn't enough time! Even if I pushed the kaio-ken to five times, I wouldn't stand a chance."

She then looked up and noticed the sun in the sky, which gave her an idea. She quickly floated up to Vegeta and apologized to Tenshinhan for stealing his technique, then putting her hands over her face and spreading her fingers over her face. The saiyan woman then yelled,

"SOLAR FLARE!!!"

Vegeta was instantly blinded and grasped his eyes in pain, allowing Goka to use kaio-ken to zoom off and land atop a rock formation. She then raised her hands and said,

"Everyone on Earth…the people, the animals, the trees and the oceans. Share some of your energy with me. Please…"

Energy slowly began to form around her as Vegeta continued flailing around in rage and eye pain, However, Goka knew that he was recovering quickly. Eventually, the saiyan prince spotted Goka in the distance, while at the same time the spirit bomb finished charging. However, just as Goka was about to throw it, Vegeta fired a mouth blast at her, making sure to hold back so that he didn't kill her.

Once the smoke from the massive explosion cleared, Goka lay on the ground, her top completely blasted off. As Gohan and Krillin drew closer and closer, Goka got to her feet and muttered,

"W-what a mess…the spirit bomb I worked so hard to make is gone…"

Vegeta remarked that Goka had nearly hit her limit, and upon hearing this, Goka said in defeat to herself,

"He's got me…I don't have a chance of beating him anymore…I used up all my energy in that Spirit bomb just now…"

Vegeta then walked up to Goka and scooped her up in his massive hands, beginning to squeeze her like a grape. The chubby samurai Yajirobe, who had been observing the battle this whole time, covered his ears to block out Goka's screaming. Finally after several agonizing moments, the screaming stopped. Vegeta stopped squeezing and brought his massive ear to Goka's chest, searching for a pulse.

Luckily for him, there was one. She wasn't quite dead, but she likely would be if she didn't get medical attention soon. The saiyan prince then fired a mouth blast at the power ball, destroying it and causing him to revert back to his base form. However, as he was about to call down his space pod, Gohan and Krillin came out of hiding and attacked him.

Krillin launched a destructo disk at Vegeta, which the saiyan prince jumped over swiftly. Gohan then attempted to charge at him from the air, but Vegeta kicked him away before doing the same to Krillin, knocking the monk out. Vegeta then turned his attention to Gohan, walking up to him and telling him,

"Half-breed bastard scum like you has no place in my soon to be empire! DIE!"

Vegeta raised his hand to deliver a killing blow, but then heard something behind him. He turned and saw Yajirobe lunging at him with his sword drawn. The chubby samurai chopped Vegeta's tail off, then fled back behind a rock formation. The saiyan prince screamed in rage and then fired a ki blast at where the chubby samurai was hiding, completely obliterating him. Vegeta then told the barely conscious Gohan and Krillin,

"I don't even feel like killing you weaklings anymore. I'll leave you to sulk in your failure while I make off with my prize."

Vegeta then reached into his armor and pulled out a remote, pressing a button on it which called over his spacepod. Krillin attempted to fire a ki blast at the saiyan prince, but it was deflected as Vegeta sat down in the pod, placing Goka on his lap as he shut it and it flew into space. Krillin looked at the sky where Vegeta had vanished over the horizon for a moment, and then roared to the sky in frustration and rage.

Author's note: It seems that all 4 of the new comments are requests to turn this fic into a comic. To be honest, I'm not interested. I just want this fic to be a humble fanfic and making it a comic is a bit much for me. Thank you though.
