The 3 heroes stared up at Porunga in horror as he finished granting Vegeta's wish. That was it. Goka was now lost to them forever. King Kai, who had been observing the events from his world, began to scan the universe for Goka, and sure enough…
"I…I can't find her…"
The Z-Fighters training on his planet all looked on in shock. Goka was lost. Back on Namek, Porunga asked Vegeta,
"What are your second and third wishes?"
Vegeta was surprised by this, asking,
"2 more wishes?"
Dende sweated. What would Vegeta wish for using the other two wishes? It couldn't be anything good. The saiyan prince smirked and then told him,
"Alright, boy. For my second wish, make me immortal!"
As Dende was about to grant this wish, Piccolo's voice suddenly appeared in his head, yelling at him,
"REVIVE ME!!!"
Dende looked around in confusion upon hearing the voice, but Piccolo's voice then sounded in his head, telling him,
"You don't know me, but my name is Piccolo. I'm a namekian like you. I'm one of the ones who Gohan and Krillin are trying to revive."
The older namekian then yelled,
"Listen! Bring me back with the first wish! Once you do, my other half will be revived and the others here can be brought back too! Once I've been resurrected, teleport me to Namek!"
Dende nodded and then asked Vegeta what his second wish was. Vegeta put his hand on his chin and thought for a moment before telling Dende,
"I wish for you to make both me and Kakarotta immortal!"
Dende didn't know who Kakarotta was, but he still spoke to the dragon. Since he was speaking namekian, Vegeta didn't realize that Dende was actually wishing for the revival of Piccolo. Once this wish was granted, Dende asked Vegeta what his final wish was. He yelled in response,
"Make Kakarotta forget all about these pathetic earthlings!"
This especially stung Gohan and Krillin. Dende seemingly granted this last wish, but in actuality transported Piccolo to Namek. As the final wish was granted, Porunga bid them all farewell and then rose into the sky. However, as the dragon balls were about to scatter, they suddenly turned to stone and collapsed to the ground.
Everyone was left in shock at this development, Vegeta asked Dende what happened, and the young namekian sadly responded,
"...the Grand Elder….has passed away. The Grand Elder, the one who created the dragon balls…is dead…"
Vegeta was initially infuriated, but ultimately figured that he had already gotten his wishes, so he was going to finish them off now. However, Gohan wasn't paying attention to any of the prince's words. He was just staring blankly at him. He had failed. His mother was lost forever because he wasn't strong enough. And it was all because of the man who stood in front of him. The man responsible for everyone's deaths.
Gritting his teeth and clenching his fists, the young boy's power began to rise. Vegeta noticed this and turned around, and Gohan then yelled,
"You…I'LL KILL YOOOOOUUUUU!!!!!"
Gohan, his aura flaring, then charged at Vegeta and delivered a massive punch to his cheek, causing a tooth to fly out. Gohan then launched a barrage of punches at the saiyan prince, with each hitting with the force of a freight train. The young half-saiyan boy then delivered a massive uppercut, sending Vegeta flying into the air. Finally, Gohan charged a ki blast and fired it at Vegeta, causing a massive explosion.
As the smoke from the blast cleared, Gohan waited to see if Vegeta had survived or not. Unfortunately, once he was visible again, Vegeta was floating in the air with his hands in a guarding position. He lowered them and smirked at a terrified Gohan, telling him,
"Not bad, brat. That actually stung a bit. If I hadn't been a super saiyan, that would've killed me! Unfortunately for you, SUPER VEGETA YIELDS TO NO ONE!!!"
Vegeta then charged at Gohan and punched him in the stomach, sending the boy crashing to the ground and spitting up blood. Giving in to the wild fury of what he thought was the super saiyan form, Vegeta began mercilessly beating Gohan down, hitting the young boy with even more force than that had been dealt to Vegeta.
Unable to stand by and let Gohan die, despite knowing that he had no chance to make a difference against Vegeta, Krillin raised his hand into the air and charged up a destructo disk. As he was about to throw it at Vegeta, the saiyan prince was suddenly kicked in the face by an unknown foot and sent flying into Frieza's ship.
Once the mysterious savior landed on the ground, Gohan and Krillin were shocked, initially believing it to be Piccolo. However, they quickly realized that this namekian was wearing a blue vest with a white scarf around his neck. This was the namekian that they had briefly encountered at Guru's place. Nail. Dende eagerly yelled his name, and Nail then told them,
"I'm sorry I couldn't get here sooner. As much as I hate to admit it, even my power pales in comparison to this saiyan's. But if we all work together, maybe we could buy enough time for another warrior to arrive..."
Krillin, unsheathing his destructo disk, asked Nail,
"Huh? Who are you talking about? There's no one left on this planet besides us…"
However, Krillin then noticed a huge power on the planet. Gohan sensed it too. They were both shocked by the sheer intensity of it. Besides Frieza and Vegeta, this was the strongest ki they had ever felt. Vegeta, confused and angry by Nail's cheap shot, then got up and yelled,
"YOU! YOUR THAT NAMEKIAN FROM BEFORE! YOU THINK YOU CAN CHALLENGE ME?!"
Nail solemnly replied,
"I am Nail, guardian of the grand elder and namek's only true warrior-class namekian. I may be no match for you, but I will not go down without a fight."
Vegeta smirked and got into a fighting stance, telling Nail to come at him. The namekian warrior did so, rushing at Vegeta with blinding speed. However, Vegeta grabbed the arm Nail tried to strike him with and ripped it off, causing the namekian to howl in pain. Krillin and Gohan looked on in terror. Krillin muttered,
"You idiot, what were you trying to do?! Why bother?"
Nail fell to his knees in pain, and seeing this, Gohan struggled to his feet. Vegeta noticed this and chuckled, telling the boy,
"So you're not dead yet. impressive. Very impressive."
Gohan got in a fighting stance, and seeing this, Krillin resigned himself mentally, proclaiming,
'Well, if we're gonna die, we might as well go down fighting!"
He then rushed at Vegeta alongside Gohan, beginning to deliver a barrage of punches against him. However, these were fruitless against the saiyan prince's might. Even when Nail regenerated his arm and jumped in to help as well, the 3 heroes still found themselves woefully outmatched.
The fight carried on for half an hour, Vegeta toying with the heroes to get control of his new "Super saiyan" power. Krillin and Gohan's powers gradually increased over the course of the fight thanks to Guru's potential unlock, but even this was not enough to close the gap. After a while however, Vegeta became bored. Dodging a punch from Nail, he hit him with a massive ki blast, bringing him to the brink of death.
He then kicked Krillin away and delivered a massive beatdown into Gohan, stomping and kicking him. Once he was done, Vegeta raised his hand and prepared to finish him off, telling him,
"Goodbye, fool!"
However, before Vegeta could launch the killing blow, he suddenly sensed a huge energy flaring up: An energy which was rapidly nearing his own. He looked up and saw a small dot of light in the distance. Up above, Piccolo gritted his teeth, realizing that Vegeta had spotted him. Now having no choice, he yelled,
"SPECIAL BEAM CANNOOOONNNNN!!!!!"
The spiral energy blast shot at Vegeta, but the saiyan prince dodged it, causing it to drill through the planet, thankfully missing the core. Seeing this, Piccolo growled and floated to the ground. Noting Vegeta's golden aura and blank eyes, Piccolo muttered,
"You've changed a lot, haven't you?"
Everyone present except for Dende was shocked to see Piccolo alive, and Gohan asked him,
"M-Mr Piccolo?! But how?!"
Piccolo looked at Gohan and smiled, replying,
"Dende's final 2 wishes were to bring me back and bring me to Namek. But unfortunately, he didn't specify where I would be teleported too."
As Piccolo turned his attention back to Vegeta, Nail suddenly called him over to him. Confused by this, Piccolo walked over to him and knelt down. He was stunned to see another Namekian who looked just like him, and Nail then told him,
"You….You must be the Namekian who the humans told me of. That is good. I'm surprised…"
Piccolo, who was about to turn around to begin fighting with Vegeta, turned back to Nail when he heard this. The other namekian warrior then continued by saying,
"...I don't know what kind of training you've done…but you've attained unbelievable levels of power. But I fear not even your vast strength will be enough. Such a shame you were not able to find a way to reunite with your other half before coming here."
"What?"
Dende then began running up to Nail to heal him, but Nail barely managed to hold out his hand to get him to stop. Piccolo was confused by this, but Nail then continued, telling him,
"Frieza and even Vegeta would be forced to kneel before you."
"Are you saying that I would have even more power if I merged with Kami? Well, that old fool and I split for a reason, I don't need him, I refuse to rejoin him!"
"No….your wrong…you'll fare no better than I did against him, and as you can see, I did not fare well."
Piccolo briefly wondered with what Nail was saying could really be true, but quickly shook his head and replied,
"Well, It won't make a difference now. Besides, my life is my own."
"T-Then…join with me…"

The reason I skipped the beginning of the namek arc is because nothing would really change before Vegeta's transformation, and I didn't want to just retread canon for a good few chapters.

I knew that without Goku there to save them, the heroes would likely all die to Reccome, so in order to prevent that from happening, I decided to give Vegeta False Super Saiyan.
