December 30th, Age 762
As the Frieza soldiers on Frieza Planet 79 went about their days, making sure everything on the planet went smoothly, those in charge of watching for ships noticed something on their monitors. It was a mysterious ship approaching the planet fast. One of the men asked,
"Is it one of Lord Frieza's?"
Another, older Frieza soldier replied by telling him,
"No, it doesn't look like a Frieza force vessel. We should be on guard."
He then attempted to radio the ship, telling it,
"This is Frieza Planet 79 to unknown vessel. Identify yourself or be terminated on behalf of Lord Frieza. Repeat, Identify yourself!"
The vessel didn't respond however, and simply landed on the planet with a mighty crash. Various Frieza soldiers quickly surrounded it, blasters held up and ready to fire if the occupant tried anything. One of the soldiers tapped his scouter to try to get a read on the occupant's power level. When he got the readings, he told the other soldiers,
"There're 5 of them, and they all have a power of 5 each. This should be easy."
However, as the door of the ship lowered, one of the power levels suddenly began to rise rapidly. Before the soldiers could process the reading of 200,000 that came from the ship, they were all blown to smithereens by a massive ki blast, which also caused a huge explosion. As the smoke cleared, the ship's 5 occupants stepped out of it: Future Gohan, Present Gohan, Krillin Piccolo, and Vegeta, the one who had fired the blast.
Future Gohan looked at Vegeta in annoyance, telling him,
"You didn't need to be so…direct."
Vegeta grimaced in annoyance and replied,
"Well what did you expect? A warm welcome with milk and cookies?"
"How do you know what those are?"
"Never mind that! Follow me. I know where the doctor in charge of keeping watch over Kakarotta is."
Vegeta then flew off, and the heroes all followed behind him. After a few minutes they entered the large central building and began heading down its hall, eventually running into a green bird-like alien with an orange mohawk. This had been the doctor who had been keeping watch of Goka at Vegeta's request. The doctor was surprised to see the saiyan prince and told him,
"Vegeta! I didn't expect you back so soon. Who are your friends?"
"No time for talking. I've come to collect Kakarotta. Take us to her now."
"Y-Yes…"
The doctor then began leading the heroes and Vegeta down the hall, eventually reaching the room where Goka was being treated. As Krillin went to look at Goka, his eyes widened when he saw that she was completely naked. He quickly covered present Gohan's eyes as Future Gohan looked at Vegeta with a suspicious look. The future warrior said to the saiyan prince in an angry tone,
"Vegeta…"
Realizing what Future Gohan was insinuating, Vegeta blushed and yelled in embarrassment,
"Do you seriously think I stripped her?! Who the hell do you take me for?!"
The doctor confirmed that Vegeta hadn't been the one to take off Goka's clothes, and Future Gohan sighed in relief. The doctor then told his colleagues who were present in the room,
"Add the reserve sedatives to her healing pod and remove the sedatives."
The doctors did what their cohort told them to, although he informed the heroes that it would still take about an hour for Goka to fully awaken. And so, the waiting game began. As the heroes all began pacing around the room in anticipation, Future Gohan turned his attention to the pod Goka was in and walked up to it, kneeling down and placing a hand on the glass.
It was surreal seeing Goka again after so long. The last time he had laid eyes on her was when he was a boy, and back then she had been bloody and unconscious. The image had been burned into his mind ever since. But now, here she was, healthy and asleep. She looked so peaceful. Putting his other hand on the glass, Gohan began crying and told Goka,
"H-hey, Oka-Chan…it's been a while. I know you don't know me, but it's Gohan. I've missed you so much…I'm sorry I couldn't help you back then."
An observing Piccolo noticed Future Gohan talking to the unconscious Goka, and seeing everyone else sitting around doing nothing, decided to go talk to him. The namekian came up to the future warrior and said to him,
"You really missed her, huh?"
Future Gohan was startled for a brief moment, but then smiled and said to Piccolo,
"Of course I did. She was the only biological family I had. And after you died, I had no one."
"Hmph. You still look up to me even after over 2 decades? Then why are you wearing a gi like Goka's?"
"Well, I'm still her son at the end of the day. But you're like the father I never had."
Piccolo couldn't help but smile at this statement and put his hand on Future Gohan's shoulder. Future Gohan smiled and walked away alongside his Namekian mentor. Piccolo then sat down and began to meditate while Future Gohan sat in the corner. An hour later, an observing Present Gohan saw Goka's eyes begin to flicker. Excited by this, he ran up to the healing pod she was in and yelled,
"Guys, she's waking up!"
The little Gohan eagerly put his hands on the glass and saw Goka stirring within. The saiyan woman was confused. The last thing she remembered was being crushed in Vegeta's hands, but this didn't look like King Yemma's lobby. Not only that, but she felt…warm and blissful. As her eyes focused however, Goka saw Gohan smiling at her, his hands out. Everything was blue for some reason and she felt like she was swimming.
She then noticed the mask that she had on over her mouth, the various wires attached to her head and back and the fact that she was naked. She may have had no idea what was going on, but she smiled at the knowledge that her boy was ok. Happily, she put her hand on the glass in front of her, she and Gohan sharing a silent moment of parent child love.
After a few moments passed, the fluid then began to lower until, after only a few seconds, it was completely gone. The glass dome above Goka then rose, and everyone present except for Piccolo covered their eyes. Goka was confused why they were doing so, but then decided to step out of the strange capsule she was in.
Removing the breathing apparatus and the wires in her head and back, Goka slowly stepped out of the capsule…only to fall facefirst. Before she hit the ground, Vegeta caught her and flipped her around, carrying her in a bridal style. She and Vegeta both blushed at this, and the doctor then explained,
"Oh, that's right. I forgot to mention that Miss Kakarotta's legs have atrophied due to lack of use. Nothing some exercise shouldn't be able to take care of."
Hearing this, Future Gohan asked Piccolo,
"Piccolo, can you give her clothes?"
Piccolo nodded at the future warrior's request and fired a clothes beam at Goka, giving her new gi identical to the one that had been destroyed due to the battle with the saiyans. Vegeta was a little disappointed by this, but before he could say anything, Goka asked the others,
"What-what's happened? Where are we?"
She then noticed Future Gohan and Dende and asked,
"Who're they?"
Future Gohan sighed and readied himself, telling Goka,
"It's…a long story…
What felt like an eternity later, Future Gohan had told Goka everything. The saiyan woman was horrified by what she had heard, especially the deaths of the future counterparts of her friends and the horrors her son had to go through. Without thinking, she tore herself from Vegeta's grasp and floated up to Future Gohan, caressing his cheek with her right hand.
Tears in her eyes, she told him,
"Gohan-Chan…my baby…you've gotten so big…"
Future Gohan blushed at this and muttered,
"Oka-Chan…"
Goka then caressed the spot where his left arm used to be and said,
"Oh, your poor arm! Don't worry, I'll beat up those androids for you!"
Vegeta, a little annoyed, then broke the mood by telling Goka,
"I don't see that happening. You've been outclassed by everyone here except the Namekian child."
Goka was confused by this, but the heroes then demonstrated this fact by powering up at the same time. Goka was absolutely shocked by the powers she was sensing even with her near death power up, Kaioken X5 wouldn't be strong enough to even beat Krillin. Speaking of which, the bald monk then brought up a point that he had been worrying about ever since he had sensed Goka's power, telling the others,
"So…how's saving Goka going to make a difference? If even the older Gohan isn't strong enough to beat these androids, what chance do we have?"
It was at this point that Goka crossed her arms in annoyance and pouted. Not only did her best friend seemingly have no faith in her, but apparently they had fought a bunch of strong guys on Namek and she had slept through it, so she was pretty annoyed. She told the boys,
"The older Gohan-Chan said we had 5 years to train. I'll admit I'm not very good at math, but I think that'll be more than enough time to catch up to you boys!"
Vegeta smirked a little at this and responded to Goka's statement by asking her,
"Is that so? I'm curious to see if that's possible. We'll see if it is."
The group then all began heading back to Future Gohan's spaceship, with Goka floating behind them and waving the doctor goodbye. Once they reached the ship, they all entered it and Future Gohan set coordinates to Earth. The door then closed, and with a massive roar of it's jets, the spaceship shot into space, leaving the Frieza soldiers that were still on the planet staring up in awe.
