Rosegold and her brothers had all the staff in the stage area so they could get everything ready for auditions "where'd you get the rose?" Kunzite asked in a whisper
Rosegold looked at her brothers curiously "I found it on the bedside table in the room I was sleeping in...why?" She asked as Azurite almost choked when he saw the black ribbon she tied around her neck
"Nevermind the rose let's just focus on auditions shall we" Rosegold said with a smile as she pulled out the clipboard and called up the first auditioning
Meanwhile...
Erik was up in box 5 watching the auditions go on...but he was mostly watching Rosegold who was wearing the rose he left in her hair and the ribbon around her thin neck
He was puzzled, surely the woman would be scared of him right, she had heard of his story hasn't she...why would she willingly accept the rose he left for her
Erik felt the Phantom inside him trying to claw it's way out so he could take control, no he wasn't going to let it take over...not again, not this time
As Erik watched the auditions he saw a girl that reminded him a lot of Carlotta Giudicelli...if that girl acted like her things would get messy, let's just hope her singing isn't like hers too
The Carlotta look alike was up next and Erik was right "confound that woman, her voice is even worse than that of the Diva" Erik muttered grumpily
Rosegold hit the buzzer which caused her to stop singing "your vocal pitch is too high, and your attitude needs adjustment" Rosegold said
"What do you mean" the Carlotta look alike said "I'm pretty sure everyone could see you picking on that girl in the corner...I'm not gonna let you in if your going to be a bully" Rosegold said
"WHAT THIS IS PREPOSTEROUS" the woman shouts "either fix your attitude or walk out that door" Rosegold said waving goodbye with a fake smile and calling the next person to audition
Thank God his soulmate wasn't deaf in the ears, she was also a good judge of character, the past owners of the Opera Populaire were deaf if not tone deaf
Her brother's seemed to be the ones writing down on the clipboards while Rosegold was the one critiquing the ones who auditioned and how they could improve on it
Apparently Rosegold was going to give them all private lessons as she was very skilled in every instrument and she seemed to have a pretty clear voice
Erik hadn't heard her sing yet, but he had a feeling it would be quite incredible...he really wanted to get to know his soulmate but he didn't want to scare her either
Rosegold leaned back in her chair and rubbed her brows already feeling tired of the nonsense happening on the opera stage
She turned her gaze towards box 5 which was currently occupied by the Phantom of the Opera himself Erik...who hid before she spotted him
"Pfft" Rosegold snickered 'is he hiding from me, why's he being so shy it's oddly adorable' she thought and turned her attention back to the auditions
After that...
Rosegold was approached by a man who seemed to give her all too familiar chills down her back "may I get an audition with you" the man said
Rosegold gave a deadpan expression and looked onto the sheet of names "are you on the list" she said giving the man a side glance feeling weary of him
"Ryan Wilson" the man said as Rosegold checked the list but found no Ryan Wilson on it "You just missed auditions, too bad so sad" Rosegold said about to walk away
Until the man grabbed her arm "please give me a private audition I'm sure I can impress you" the man was getting a little creepy with his thumb rubbing her arm
Rosegold did not like the way she was grabbed "Let go of me" Rosy hissed in displeasure trying to pull him off of her arm
Her brother's Azurite and Kunzite saw this but so did Erik as he rushed over and pulled Rosy out of the man's grasp and pressing her against his chest protectively as Erik growled "do not touch a lady like that"
