Before you panic, no I am not stopping this story! I made a goal of writing at least 60 chapters, and that's what I'm going to do! I may even do more, but that will be a conversation for another time.

For now, I wanted to start by thanking everyone who has been following the story up until now. I started this story on a whim with no plan at all last year, and now Elio's story has grown and reached literally tens of thousands of people. I couldn't be prouder of my guy!

It amazes me to see people still joining Elio on his long journey even with so many chapters out now. I know I would never start a story this long, so to all of you who showed up later, I'm especially impressed and thankful for you! Your votes and comments keep me motivated!

Depending on which site you're seeing this announcement on, you may or may not see just how popular this story has become. I'm watching it stretch across the world every day little by little. It's kinda beautiful in a strange way!

Of course, this is not my only story. I have other fanfictions that I'm working on, as well as multiple original book series that I hope to self-publish one day soon. When that happens, I hope you will all give those books a chance too, just as you have given this little ATLA fanfiction a chance.

I'm going to continue publishing this story, but I'd like to take some time to work on those other projects. I'm drafting the beginning of a new story for Boku No Hero Academia as of now, and I'm working on a book in my original series as well. Oh, and a Little Nightmares story as well, among other things!

In addition to those, I also make music both serious and not so serious (I produce music, sing, and rap with a group of friends. I also do Friday Night Funkin songs and Boyfriend song covers on the side). I dance and show off my other talents on Instagram and TikTok. I got a lot going on and the links to my pages are all in my bio!

All of this is to say that while I love Elio's story deeply, I have other things that I want to take some time to focus on too. So I am going to stop posting chapters of Wandering Firebender regularly for a month. I'm posting this on 7/28/2021, which means I'll probably start the series up again at the beginning of September 2021.

Until then, I encourage you to check out some of my other works! Even if the show/game the story is based off isn't to your liking, I still put in as much effort and heart into those stories as I do Wandering Firebender! If that doesn't interest you then I will see you in September for the 41st installment: "Prisoner"!

If you've made it this far then again I want to give you a huge thank you for following Elio's journey. I poured a lot of myself into him, and we've gone through a lot of the same things. As Elio travels to find his place and discover who he is, I do the same in real life.

I think that's why a lot of people love this story so much. We can all relate to that.
