April's POV

New York City was in utter chaos with the human military raging war in vain against the ever terrifying Kraang mutants. Buildings were on fire and crumbling, people shouting all around. As April, Casey, and Splinter ran through the city, Casey noticed a stray missile about to hit a building full of people and quickly redirected it by firing his grappling hook to curl around it. The missile collided with one of the Kraang mutants that had assimilated with a military warcopter. In the distance, they could see a bright purple light emanating from the top of Metro Tower. Casey pointed with urgency, "There's the key! Let's Go!"

Suddenly there was a massive impact several feet from them that caused them to stumble back and as they looked, they realized it was the female Kraang leader with a hole through her face where April had hit her with the blue liquid earlier. April readied her bat, shouting confidently to the others, "Like Casey said- let's go!" With that, the group charged in for an attack.

Turtle's POV

Meanwhile, the turtlebros were making their way up to the Kraang's ship to save Raph and their new friend, Zodia. They jumped across pieces of floating debris, watching their steps carefully.

"I wish my tech was working!" Donnie shouted as he grabbed onto a piece of rubble to keep from falling, "Usually my cardio is jetpack assisted! Ugh and I'm not getting credit for any of these steps!"

Finally, they make it to the top of the ship and as they land on it, the blue clad ninja slices an opening through an exposed part of the fleshy exterior. The three of them are covered in a green slimy substance as they pass through it, dropping down inside the biological spaceship. Donnie groans in disgust, shaking off some of the goop, "Hey question: is it too late to join April's team?"

Leo shushed him and they moved to the edge of the balcony they had landed on, looking down at the controls, "You two figure out how to hijack this ship. I'm gonna find Raph and Zo." Leo rose to his feet with a look of determination. Donnie nodded with equal determination as Mikey slid over, giving a thumbs up covered in green slime. As he walked away, Mikey began looking around, "So how do we hack this thing?"

Donnie peered over the edge of the balcony, "Uhh best guess? Main console?" He points to where the Kraang leader was currently sitting, "Unfortunately, it's occupado..." A shadow casts over the two brothers and they became aware of the squishy sound of movement behind them. As the two turtle boys turned, a large fleshy vine came slamming down on them, crushing the balcony and knocking the two ninjas to the ground below. The Kraang leader turned toward them with a menacing glare and Mikey awkwardly speaks up, "Uhh... new plan: RUN!"

Leo's POV

Leo crept along the slimy passageways silently, glancing around for any sign of his brother and friend. He spies a large window and quizzically approaches it, his initial confusion shifting into a look of shock mixed with fear and devastation as he saw the city being ravaged by the terrifying and grotesque Kraang mutants. A strange vibration rang through the air and the blue clad ninja turns, unsheathing one of his katanas as he saw a giant slitted eye in the fleshy ceiling. As he noticed the Kraang leader, Leo put on a confident smirk and took up a fighting stance, pointing his sword at the leader, "Surprise! I've come for my brother and my friend."

The Kraang alien chuckled darkly, resting his fleshy cheek against a mutated technological arm, "Let me guess:... duty?"

Leo chuckles to himself, making fun of the Kraang leader, "He said doodie..."

The Kraang leader looks down at the mutated forms of Raphael and Zodia, gesturing for them to proceed. Raph jumps forward, slamming his mutated fists into the ground in front of the blue ninja. Zodia's mutated form leapt into a flip over Leo, landing on the other side of him.

April's POV

Meanwhile, April brandished her baseball bat proudly, grinning at the female Kraang, "I see you got yourself an upgrade!" She then gave a playful wink as she pulled her glasses down a bit.

"You will pay dearly for what you have done to me!" the alien roared in anger before crouching on her robotic haunches, several spines opening up along the vertebre.

Master Splinter cut in with a hint of annoyance, "This psycho routine is a little thin- where is the character development?"

The female Kraang then fired a powerful beam that sliced through the costruction site behind the group, making them have to jump out of the way.

"Leo's counting on us to get to that key!" Casey shouted urgently as he landed, sliding back a few inches.

April raises an eyebrow, her mind working through many possibilities, "I think I have an idea." She glances at a wrecking crane nearby as she readies her bat, "Cover me!"

Leo's POV

Leo held his stance steady as the two mutants stepped toward him with menacing intention, "Raph, Zo, you guys are coming with me whether you like it or not!" Raph growled in response and Zodia hissed as well, as though refusing. The two mutants continued their advance as Leo reached for his other katana, "I don't wanna fight you, but I will if I have to."

The Kraang leader laughed darkly, "Oh, you will have to."

Raph let out an inhuman screech before charging in to attack the blue ninja. Simultaneously, a caw erupted from Zodia's throat as she too began to charge. Raph's arms had been transformed into tentacles and were now clashing with one of his brother's swords as the other held Zodia's newly grown claws at bay.

Donnie's POV

Tentacles erupt from the seat of the shorter Kraang leader, sweeping around the room in an attempt to capture or squash the two turtles. Mikey and Donnie were quick, despite their panic and managed to avoid getting hit. This caused one of the tentacles to curve back, knocking the shorter alien from the control console.

"Bravo, Mikey," the purple ninja cheered as he dashed up to the console, "Huh... there's no buttons, or computers, or anything- just a lot of drippy, ooey-gooey distugustingness." His eyes rove over the slimy panel of flesh before him as he shook his head, "I don't know how to hack in..." He cut himself off, his expression shifting to one of utter disgust as he realized, "Oh god... I know what I have to do..."

"What?" Mikey questioned, almost afraid to learn the answer as he turned and saw his brother's face. Donnie held back a gag as he thought about it, turning away and holding his stomach, "Nope, no- I don't think I can do this!"

Mikey raised an eyebrow, "What are you talking about?" He looked between Donnie and the fleshy console as it dawned on him, "Oh no... That's..." Mikey began to gag as well, doubling over in mirrored disgust, "So gross!"

"I can't do it!" Donnie exclaimed between dry heaves as he looked to his orange clad brother.

"I believe in you!" Mikey declared amidst gags.

"Gah it's my worst nightmare!"

"I know!"

Donnie forces himself to approach the slimy console, "I'm doing it! I'm doing it!" He plunges his hands into the fleshy mass of the console and tentacles began climbing his arms, searching for a connection.

Zodia's POV

Leo is slammed into a wall due to a combined attack from Raph and Zodia's mutated forms. Raph charges from the front, forcing Leo to deflect blows from the spiked turtle's tentacles, while Zodia circles around, coming at Leo from behind.

"Raph! I know you're in there somewhere- you've gotta snap out of this!" Those words reach Zodia's mind, causing her mutated form to freeze and her mind began trying to reject the Kraang's influence as she watched Raph continue to attack his brother. Those words marked one of the more painful and touching scenes in the ROTTMNT movie- a scene that never failed to reach her heart, even now.

The Kraang leader laughed darkly as his eyes follow the mutated soldier's movements, "Do you feel what the power of the Kraang can do? I am saving this weak planet! I am a gift!"

Raph continued attacking with ferocity as Zodia stands frozen, battling internally for control of her body.
