Zodia's POV
As Leo broke free, using a portal to get behind the alien leader, Zodia cheers in a mixture of emotions. "Zodia!" She heard Donnie shout and as she glanced his way, she saw a small metal cylinder flying toward her. Grabbing it from the air, a grin spread across her lips as she pressed the button on its side, "Starshine. Thanks, Don!"
"No problem, Zo- use her well," the genius turtle nodded once with a faint smirk on his beak.
Zodia turned back to the fight as the mechanical parts hidden inside the cylinder whir to life, unfolding into the tech-scythe Donnie had given to her. She felt the vibrational hum of her own energy returning to her and pushed it through into the scythe by envisioning it moving through her and the weapon. The scythe lit up purple, thrumming in her hands as it unfolded, connecting with her energy. Raph rushed through Leo's portal, the fist of his energetic shell connecting with the alien's chin and sending him up into the air and causing the ground beneath it to shatter. The chain of Mikey's nuchucks wrapped around the Kraang's body, ensnaring him and swinging him around to slam into the alien's throne before Donnie called on his mystic power to create a fleet of projectile weaponry aimed at the Kraang. The bullets and missiles hit the alien in a flurry of explosions and the brothers stood proudly next to Zodia, Leo speaking up confidently, "If this isn't the poster shot, someone's getting fired."
Zodia looked at Leo with a thoughtful expression- had they known about the cartoon before she'd come along or was that just a joke? She had had a theory that cartoon characters were aware of the plane they were on, but before she could ask, the Kraang landed on the ground behind them with a wicked snarl, "Oh- we are not done yet."
April's POV
April quickly swung the wrecking ball of the crane, slamming it into the female Kraang as she shouted her own name. The alien tumbled into a crouch, sliding back several feet as the group gasped at its survival of the blow.
"That's payback!" Master Splinter shouted in his raspy Japanese accent as he pointed in the direction of the Kraang.
"Keep her under that building, until I bring it down!" April told Splinter and Casey with urgency as she pointed out of the window of the crane. Without hesitation, Splinter and Casey jumped into action, each attacking the Kraang to keep her in place while April began slamming the wrecking ball into the structural points of the construction site. Within moments, the building began to collapse in a heap of dust and metallic beams, and Casey could hear April shouting to him to get out from underneath the building. He used his grappling hook to swing himself and Master Splinter out of the area as the building caved in on the female Kraang. Just as she was rising back up, the wrecking ball came down on the alien, crushing her and holding her in place.
"Commander O'Neal!" Casey shouted in triumphant surprise.
"Nice shot!" Splinter pumped a fist in the air in celebration as the Kraang writhed, crying in pain.
Casey pointed toward the sky above Metro tower, "Donnie's almost got the ship to the other side! I have to get to the key!" April grabs Casey's hand and activated his grappling hook to send him off as she shouted, "See ya!"
Casey began swinging his way through the city towards Metro tower as he spoke into his communicator, "Come in, Senseii, can you hear me?"
Turtle's POV
Mikey, Raph, Leo, Donnie, and Zodia were busy fighting the Kraang leader as they fell through the air. Mikey grabbed hold of the alien with the lengthened chain of his mystic nunchuks, slamming him into a building as Raph swung a giant energetic hand to slap at him, but the alien blasted through the energetic fist. Zodia spun toward the Kraang, feeling her energy thrum and rise before she pressed a button on the panel of her tech-scythe, sending several shuriken to slice into the alien's armour. As he fell from the sky, he noticed the glowing orange chain of Mikey's nunchuks wrapping around the building before it was suddenly pulled toward him, causing him to crash through several walls before coming out of the other side.
"Okay," Raph spoke up authoritatively as he formulated a plan, reforming his energetic form, "Donnie!"
Donnie landed on Raph's back, shouting "Kowabunga!" as he formed an enlarged jetpack to propel them toward the Kraang leader. "Flip-o-rama!" Mikey shouted excitedly as the chain of his nunchuk wrapped around Raph's energetic wrist, making it light up in energetic flames. Leo landed on Raph's back, tossing a katana ahead of them to form a portal as he added, "Let's roll- Starshine?"
"Right here, Blue," Zodia landed atop the energetic jetpack moving the group forward, "Let's do this! Booyakasha!" Zodia gathered a massive amount of energy into her tech-scythe before aiming the end of the staff and firing an energetic missile at the alien as she shouted, "Starshine Supernova!"
Leo activated his portal and the group teleported forward to meet the Kraang leader. The group moved together in unison as Raph's flaming energetic fist moved forward to connect with the fleshy creature as they shout, "Hot Soup!"
Before is could connect, however, the alien flicked his fingers, causing them to fly back. Raph, Leo, and Zodia tumble across the surface of the Technodrome as Mikey, Raph, and Donnatello fall through the air. Mikey and Donnie land on a falling building only to be punched through the air by the Kraang leader. "Raph, go!" Leo shouts, tears in his eyes as he opens a portal to rescue his brothers. "On it!" He runs toward the portal, holding an injured arm. Raph jumped toward them from the portal and wrapped his two brothers in his giant energetic form as he shouts, "Don't worry, Donnie- this is not a hug! It's a rescue!"
The three of them crash land on a small island and Raph sits up holding his head as he glances around, "Where are we? Staten Island?"
Donnie pops up with a shudder, "Oh Eugh... gross." There was a pause before he spoke again, "So, how would everyone rate THAT escape experience? Unsatisfied, very unsatisfied, very very unsatisfied, wish Donnie would've done it? Hmm mhm?"
"Donnie," Raph spoke up in a worried tone as Donnie fell over in exhaustion. He pointed toward the sky above Metro tower where the portal to the prison dimension was still open, "Leo and Zo are still up there."
Zodia's POV
Zodia sat up with a quiet groan, looking around to regain her bearings. As she slowly began to realize where she and Leo were, she gasped in horror, the scenes from the movie rushing back to her. With a heavy feeling of dread, her chocolate gaze snapped to Leo, watching as the red eared turtle struggled to get to his feet. The Kraang leader landed several feet from them with a menacing glare at the two of them.
"No..." Zodia whispered in horror as she began to realize what was about to happen. Then she spoke to Leo urgently, trying to change his mind, "Leo, no- please, you can't!"
Leo's eyes widen in surprise as he realized she knew what he was thinking, but he quickly shook it off as he tried and failed to get to his feet, "I don't have a choice, Zo!"
"Yes, you do!" She began as the alien stepped slowly toward them. Tears form in her eyes, "Your brothers need you!"
"Your world needs YOU, Zo!" Leo shot back in a desperate tone, "You can't just give up everything for us when you have your own world to save!"
"Leo, you don't understand!" Zodia cried desperately, "It won't end like tha-"
She was cut off by Leo speaking into his communicator with determination, "Casey, Casey, come in."
"Leo, please!" tears slide silently down her round cheeks as she watched the blue ninja.
"Senseii, I'm here," came Casey's response through the device, "And I've got eyes on the key. Just tell me when you're home free and I'll pull the plug!"
Leo's face was etched with regret beneath his blue bandana as he began to speak in a remourseful tone, "Casey, listen to me-"
"No, please..." Zodia's voice cracked as her hands clenched into fists on the ground.
"When I get to the other side," Leo continued, sounding more determined, "You close that door."
"What?" Casey gasped in horror, "Senseii, no!"
"Casey, it's the only way," Leo replies with resignation, "He's too strong, he's not gonna stay on the other side unless I keep him there."
"There has to be another way!" Casey pleaded and Zodia choked back a sob as she glances between Leo and the approaching alien.
"We tried everything, Casey, this is the only way."
"Leo, please don't do this!" Raph pleaded through the communications link.
Leo chuckles dryly, "You're one to talk, big bro- hero moves are totally your style."
