Pre-med student Jason Quartermaine meets nurse Elizabeth Webber during a semester abroad in Sarajevo. After six months, Jason returns to his home in Port Charles with hopes that Elizabeth will visit soon. He receives crucial news from his girlfriend, Elizabeth, which prompts him to rush to the airport. This results in a car accident that changes the course of their lives. Can circumstances bring them together again?
Chapter 1
Changes from OG GH.
In 1994, 21-year-old Jason Quartermaine attended PCU as a pre-med student. He takes a semester off to study abroad, getting first-hand experience. His mother suggests he travel to Sarajevo, where her ex-husband and his family volunteer to aid those needing medical services. The war in the OG verse is not as dire in the GH verse.
Jason meets 19-year-old nurse Elizabeth Webber and her family, who are volunteering in Bosnia.
Jason's sister Emily was adopted in 1988 when she was 10. When Jason leaves to study abroad, Emily starts her sophomore year at PCHS.
23-year-old Alan James (AJ) Quartermaine graduated with honors from PCU with a business degree. He works with his Grandfather at ELQ Industries. He does not have a substance abuse problem.
Emily's best friend Lucky starts his junior year at PCHS. Lucky's sister LuLu is four.
18-year-old Nikolas Cassidine and his Uncle Stefan moved from Greece to New York so that he could attend Columbia University under his grandmother's orders.
17-year-old Robin Scorpio is dating 18-year-old Stone Cates. She graduated early and has been offered early admittance to Yale University.
Keesha Ward does not exist in this universe.
