Hey!! This is the Cthonaut, the author. So I created a forum for your ideas and suggestions. I do hope you guys are enjoying the story so far and thank you for your feedback. I know Chapter 1 wasn't the best but I went through 3 drafts and that was the 4th. Just seemed like the best one. But yes, keep commenting your favorite ships and if I like them, they'll be added to Ben's group. And now, Chapter 2

Chapter 2: Settling in

Ben's parents house

8:30 PM

Ben sat on the edge of the bed as he watched his daughter sleep. Carl and Sandra, Ben's parents, set her up in the guest room until Ben could get a place of his own. He smiled as he moved a stray strand of hair out of his daughters face. The meeting went about as smooth as possible

Two hours earlier*

Ben was extremely nervous for his parents to meet his daughter. He held her hand as he took a deep breath. Evie looked up at her father with calming eyes. She then asked,"Is everything ok, daddy?", She had those adorable green eyes as she looked at her father. Ben looked down and smiled,"Of course, sweetie. Just a bit nervous for them to meet you", He smiled as he picked her up, with Evie giggling.

Ben opened the front door,"Mom, dad. I'm home", He announced.

Sandra was on the couch. She had blonde hair, green eyes and she wore green earrings. Her outfit was a green blouse and tan pants.

She smiled as she saw Ben come in. Ben hugged his mom and smiled,"Where's dad?",He asked. Sandra came out of the kitchen,"He had to run to the store for dinner. He'll be back soon."

Ben nodded but, then said,"I have someone I want you to meet".

Sandra sighed, "If it's a dog, the answer is no", She said as she rubbed her forehead.

Ben chuckled awkwardly, "It's..not exactly that", He stepped aside and revealed the little half alien girl.

Sandra's eyes widened,"Benjamin Kirby Tennyson, what did you do!?" She looked at Ben in shock.

Ben began to calm his mom down,"Now, it's not what you think", He told her as he explained what happened, how one of his alien forms was an asexual being and reproduced every 80 years. And how Evie was the only one who came back, "And now...you're a grandmother." He smiled,"Meet your granddaughter: Evelynn Ruby Tennyson. Evie for short." He tussled his daughter's hair.

Sandra smiled, "She's so cute, Ben. She has your eyes." She said as she picked up the little girl. Evie giggled as her grandmother kissed her cheek. Sandra then got serious as she held her granddaughter,"You do realize what this means, right? You're going to have to provide for her."

Ben then replied,"I already have that covered. Me and grandpa talked about it. I'm graduating early and becoming a full time plumber. I just have to take my final exam and I'll be able to work." He smiled.

Sandra touched her son's cheek,"My baby boy...all grown up." She smiled.

Ben chuckled,"Mom, I'm 17." He said as he blushed. Sandra giggled, "Doesn't mean you won't always be my baby."

When Carl came home, Ben introduced him to Evie. It went better than expected. Carl asked the same questions Sandra did and Ben answered them."When I start making money, I'm going to move out and be on my own. I have to provide for my daughter and I need to get us a home." He said as Evie was asleep in his lap.

Carl and Sandra smiled at each other, seeing how their son is growing up.

In the present*

Ben smiled as he got up and left the room to let his daughter sleep. As he went downstairs, there was a knock on the front door. He went to it and opened the door and standing there was a familiar Kineceleran hybridâIt was Helen Wheels.

Ben was confused,"Helen? What are you doing here?"

Helen said, "Max sent me here to give you something." She gave him an envelope,"It's your official application to the Plumbers. Max wants to put me and you in charge of a team." She beamed with joy.

Ben's eyes widened. "So he's putting us in charge of our own team??!!"

Helen nodded,"Mhm, with our experiences, he believes we can be good teachers and role models to new recruits. He wants us there Saturday to meet the new recruits." Ben nodded, "I'll be there". Helen smiled. She gave Ben a kiss on the cheek and left. Ben blushed as he rubbed his cheek where there was a black lipstick kiss mark.

He went back inside and Sandra was standing there smiling,"She seems nice". Ben wiped the lipstick away,"We-we're just friends, mom". Sandra smirked, "Mhm, sure", she said sarcastically, "That's what I said about your dad", She laughed as she went upstairs to bed.

He went to the bathroom and showered. He dried off and put his pajamas on, lying down in bed. He thought about what his mom said and the kiss Helen gave him on the cheek.

Perhaps she was right. He always thought Helen was cute and definitely a wildfire. He smiled as he closed his eyes. Yep, everything was starting to go his way.

Or so he thought

In deep space, the unknown alien was watching his scientists run tests on the pod he had. He stood there, his hand on his chin as he observed.

He stood about 8 feet tall, his body color pink with silver accents. His eyes were yellow and he had a crest along his scalp. His body was mostly mechanical with his organic bits underneath (Google High Evolutionary from Marvel Comics and that's what he looks like)

He said,"Make sure every one of that brat's aliens is encoded into our droid. I want every basis to be covered. It's time I succeed where others failed." He said as he turned to face out the ships window, with a full view of earth. He put his arms behind his back with a malicious smirk on his face,"Soonâthe Omnitrix will be mine, as it should have been. Azmuth will regret crossing me." He scowled

And that's Chapter 2 completed. As y'all can see, I've introduced our first love interest, Helen. She rarely gets love so she will finally get some here. And don't forget. I have a forum to where you guys can pitch your ideas, characters and critiques. I have so many ideas for this fic and I want you all to be involved. PS, I'm not adding Gwen, Sunny or Lucy to the group. That's...yeah, that's not happening. Professionals have standards. I'll work on Chapter 3 this week and upload it soon.
