When a family reunion turns into a talk about figurative fires, Quigley is intrigued. He tries to find out more, but a literal fire thwarts him, and his mother helps him down a ladder through a trap door. After a long, tense wait, he decides to investigate, but the trap door won't budge. All alone, there's only one thing he can do: find a way out and reunite with his family.

After the end, Klaus applies for university for his undergraduate in combined honours in library science and English literature. Violet, meanwhile, goes to high school. Duncan gets a job with the Daily Punctilio as a journalist and does his best to be impartial. Isadora, meanwhile, has her poetry collection published while she is in high school.

A little one-shot from Beatrice's perspective. Pretty heavily book based, in the sense that I do a lot with the conceit of Lemony hiding his face, and they showed Patrick Warburton's face plenty.

Violet, Klaus, and Sunny Baudelaire have survived so much, but deus ex machina, as well as and any and all hope, seemed to evade them- until the arrival of Jacques Snicket and Olivia Caliban, and the discovery of the one true quiet place that remains in the mountains.

My second ASOUE fanfic. This story takes place after Isadora gets kidnapped from Prufrock Prep. While Violet and Klaus are walking to school, they run into Fiona Widdershins who appears in Book 11, The Grim Grotto. Fiona helps them find Isadora. This story has a happier ending than the original series.
