Now both of them walk away with the knowledge of an impending invasion by the Reapers, and although they may both share the same goal, their methods are vastly different. One views himself as something greater, and the other does not.

As humanity and other Council races develop along the path set by the Reapers, a different civilization is born. Developing alongside but separately from other species, isolated from the wider galaxy. An Empire with its own FTL technology, independent of Mass Relays. What will happen if a civilization so different from others in almost every way, joins the Galactic community?

A cold feels innocent enough. Ryder has them all the time while she was back in the Milky Way. But when things doesn't add up, and a cold went from bad to worse. What if its connected to the Archon somehow? Ryder wishes she never met the Archon. This might change her life for the long run.

These stories are just fragments of Jonathan Shepard life through the first three games and his life afterwards. These stories will also be of his family. What lies ahead for him, his lover and his children? The stories are in chronological order, and one will explain another whether it's next or further down the line.
