The Mask of Zorro Part 10

Liberation of the Mine, but the first part of it.

We are back at the mine as Jacque and Cardin are waiting for the slaves to finish up here by passing all of the gold bars along on an elevator that will ascended up to the wagon carrying the rest of the gold that will be delivered to Ghira Belladonna. One Atlesian Trooper whacks a slave with his E-5 Blaster Rifle for slowing down after falling on his on his knees much to the disgust at the audiences.

"That's cruel!" Adam said because he and the White Fang plus anyone else hates slavery have seen that many times and finds that very cruel.

"They are loyal to Jacque, so they don't care if what they are doing is very cruel", Hakaze explains why they do these cruel things.

"But Zorro is coming to save them all?" Blake ask but yeah he's coming but not alone.

"Yeah, but Sam and Pyrrha will be joining him to help."

Back with Jacque who's watching from a above, the scene shows while the slaves passing the gold bars along, a single Atlesian Trooper using whip to be sure they be quick. Next Jacque removes the sheet from the wagon and checks out all of the gold again.

"That's so much gold that they really need to deliver to Ghira Belladonna", Roman said after seeing all that gold.

"Well they are in for a disappointment thanks to Zorro", Neo said to him knowing Zorro is going to prevent that from ever happening.

"You get the feeling that both Jacque and Cardin are going to die in this?" James wonders of that's going to happen.

"Well the final battle is coming, so yeah", Hakaze confirms.

Meanwhile in another mining area, one slave collapses in exhaustion and at Atlesian Trooper turns around to see that slave before walking on.

"Water!" He called and a man in a hood shows up and gives the man water and he looks at him.

"Shh!" It revealed to be Jaune/Zorro.

"Alright he's here", Ruby said cheering alongside the others.

"Sam and Pyrrha will catch up with him later", Hakaze said to Ruby.

"So Jaune will be on his own for now?"

"Yes Pyrrha.

Back at the slaves that are nearly finished passing all of the gold bars along, Cardin shows up in his horse orders his men this.

"Lock them up!" Cardin ordered and this is what happens next.

All of the slaves Adults, Old and Children who are all Human and Faunus alike locked in various cells. Up above, Jacque check his pocket watch and then waves at Cardin who fires his SE-14 Blaster Pistol lighting the fuse up the slowly head for the explosives plant on the lower parts of the mine. All the slaves panic as they saw what Cardin has done.

"Jaune better hurry and stop that fuse from reaching the explosives", Yang said knowing that her dad Taiyang is in there.

"In the end all of the prisoners are safe", Hakaze said knowing at the end everyone is safe.

"Then that's good news", Sun said but that part is for later.

"The fuses are burning. Hurry it up." Jacque said and the 2 Atlesian Troopers head behind the wagon.

"Let's go!" Cardin said after getting on his horse, the he and his troops ride off.

Jaune/Zorro who was nearby, notice the fuse but he decided to do something to delay both Jacque and Cardin. What he did is he grabs a wooden ladder and puts it on top of the wheel that bringing the elevator with the rest of gold up the wagon. The elevator stops completely and Cardin notice it.

"Wait here!" Cardin tells his men to wait as he goes back as he watches the elevator carrying the rest of the gold stop.

"Secure the wagon, stay alert." Jacque said as he grabs his E-5S Sniper Rifle and tries to shoot at Jaune/Zorro.

2 Atlesian Troopers join him and fire at the Jaune/Zorro but all missed, the 2 switch to their Skana Swords while Jacque tried to set his rifle for a better aim. Meanwhile Cardin returns and notice the elevator has stopped, Cardin gets off his horse, pulls out his Skana Sword and cuts the fuses stopping the fire from reaching the explosives.

"Thanks Jaune, blowing up the mine with all of the slaves is delayed", Weiss said.

"That will be enough time to save the rest of the prisoners", Winter said but they need to fight all of the enemies.

"First things first, fight and defeat all of the enemies", James said what needs to be done first before they do that.

"It should be no problem for Jaune", Ozpin said it won't be a problem at all.

2 Atlesian Troopers are up in higher ground looking for Jaune/Zorro, but he ambush them while upside down, he pats their backs and then punches them in their faces making them both fall off and hit the ground so painfully. Jaune/Zorro pulls out his Krohkur Sword and zips line down on the ground, then he battles the Atlesian Troopers all armed with their Skana Sword while the audiences who support him cheer him on.

"Yeah go and break their legs Jaune-Zorro!" Nora said being energetic.

"Calm yourself Nora", Ren said getting her to sit down.

"Jaune can win this", Pyrrha knowing that those Atlesian will be no problem for him to defeat.

Jaune/Zorro defeats the first one by flipping him over, next he battles another, then grabs him by his back coat and bashes in him in the wall knocking him out, he fights another, Jaune/Zorro tangles his sword with the Atlesian's and made him accidently kill another Atlesian Trooper coming up behind Zorro and both go down. As Jaune/Zorro makes a run for it, Jacque takes aim and smiles thinking he's got Jaune/Zorro this time, but then someone hits his E-5S Sniper Rifle off his hands and Jaune/Zorro looks to see who did that and it was Sam and he smiles then leaves.

"Nice save Sam", Jaune said to him.

"Well Jacque is mine to fight while you have your own fight to finish", Sam said to him.

"Right, scores to settle."

"Those Atlesians know how to you use a sword but are no match for Jaune", Winter said with smile.

"Sam Nikos."

"Jacque." Sam lowers his sword at the moment and then punches Jacque down who then looks at Pyrrha who shows up.

Realizing what Pyrrha has done, Jacque gets back up his feet and pulls out his Skana Sword, he and Sam fights like they did 20 years ago. Back with Jaune/Zorro, he puts his Krohkur Sword away after seeing 2 more Altesian Troopers coming toward at him, so he runs up to higher ground and stops. He pause there for a moment before the Atlesian Troopers charge at him but Jaune/Zorro grabs and pulls a chain causing water to come out and both Atlesians fall to their deaths.

"Well it's time for Sam and Jacque to finish what he started 20 years ago", James comment knowing that their fight will now finish up after 20 years.

"Do you think Jacque suspect Pyrrha broke Sam out?" Clover wonders.

"Perhaps, but right now he's just going to keep his focus on fighting Sam", James said to him.

"Whoa, all those Atlesian got tricked into following Jaune as he sends plummeting to their deaths thanks to all that water", Saphron said after seeing what happened.

Jaune/Zorro gets down he finds Cardin right in front of him with his Skana Sword out, Jaune/Zorro pulls out his Krohkur Sword that shines in the sun ready to fight him again. Cardin pulls out his SE-14 Blaster Pistol, but tossed it aside. Then the 2 sword fight with Cardin make the first move.

"Well let's finish it Cardin."

"No stalemates this time Jaune."

"Only one question." Jaune/Zorro said as he and Cardin continue their battle.

"Really? What is that?" Cardin ask before they both pinned themselves into a rail.

"How would you like your remains displayed?" Jaune/Zorro ask before breaking free before punching Cardin in the face repeatedly causing his hat to fly off.
