Anastasia Part 1
Okay the first part of Anastasia.

The first scene opens showing a tiny music box close up. The delicate box is set on a brocaded pillow. We pull back to see the pillow is carried by a pair of hands. Pull back to see a butler, he carries the Music Box on it's pillow. He rushes down a grand curving staircase, past other servants to the front door. He races out the front door, careful to balance his precious cargo on the pillow.
"That's a nice music box, wonder who's it for?" Ruby said liking the music box.
"Oh we shall all see ourselves", Summer said to Ruby.
"My good guess that music box is present for someone", Tai said but they will see who.
Outside the Mansion during the evening, a horse-drawn carriage stands outside, An escort of Cossacks on horseback wait, horses impatient, steam shooting from their nostrils, hooves prancing. The Butler comes out with the box on the pillow, carrying it to a adult woman stands regally beside the carriage door, dressed in full evening clothes. This is the Empress Maria Calavera. The Butler bows as he presents the box. She takes it from the pillow and puts it carefully in her beaded clutch. The Butler retreats. A footman opens the carriage door, and Maria climbs inside. As soon as the door closes, the carriage takes off, preceded by the thundering Cossack horses.
"Oh that's me during my youthful days", Maria said that she makes an appearances but her younger days.
"Your Empress Maria Calavera of the Rose Kingdom or Xiao Long Kingdom", what Hakaze said got some questions.
"Wait does mean Ruby is a princess in this?" Weiss said while having a sweating time.
"Problem?" Hakaze ask and Weiss withdraws.
"Oh my", Ruby surprises after knowing that she's the royal princess.
"We are royalty", Yang said that she and Ruby are princesses.
At St Silver during the night, Maria's carriage races through the street her Honor Guard of horsemen cutting a path ahead of her.
"Your highness."
"There was a time, not very long ago, when we lived in an enchanted world of elegant palaces and grand parties." Maria said narrating the story.
At the Palace, the gates swing open for Maria's carriage. The palace is lit up, with opulently dressed partygoers streaming inside. They bow as Maria's carriage pulls up. The palace doors swing open. Music pours out, and sounds of gaiety. Maria sweeps inside, dancing couples bowing as she passes.
"And my son Taiyang, was the Xiao Long of Imperial Rose and Xiao Long royal family." Maria narrates as we move into the palace.
"Imperial?"
"Yeah, the Kingdom here is an Empire", Hakaze said to Ozpin and everyone could get that.
"The Kingdom is located somewhere in Patch, but this version is has a lot of winter and snow in it", Hakaze said what's the weather like unlike the one they know.
"So I'm related to Maria Calavera who's my mom in this Universe."
"Yes Taiyang."
Inside the palace, elegant royalists, in 17th century costumes which many of the audiences are so familiar with, waltz in the main hall as an orchestra plays. Taiyang dances with Ruby, 8, graceful and spirited. Father and daughter are the couple of the moment and all eyes adore them.
"Oh Ruby your so cute!" Summer said hugging her daughter quite a tight but embarrasses Ruby.
"MOM!"
"Oh come on Ruby", Yang joins in.
"So my little girl is my little princess", Tai said feeling happy.
"Yang too, but she's offscreen for this one", Hakaze said.
"I get the feeling tragedy is about to happen", Salem comment because most films will always have tragedy.
"Oh you got that right Salem."
"Hello darling. We were celebrating the three hundredth anniversary of our family's rule…" Maria said to Tai and he put up some laughter.
"Oh Papa!" Ruby called out to him.
"And that night, no star burned brighter than that of our sweet Ruby, my youngest granddaughter." What Maria just narrated surprise both Ruby and Maria in the audiences.
"Say what?!" Weiss asked in surprise.
"I'm the granddaughter of the Reaper, oh wow", apparently Ruby likes that.
"Well you are really a fan of Maria", Blake said to her.
"I don't mind of Ruby is my granddaughter", Maria said she doesn't mind it at all.
Angle on Maria, the Downager Empress. Smiling as she watches her granddaughter dancing with her father. Ruby, her dance finished, lights up at seeing her grandmother, runs to her.
"She begged me not to return to Vale, so I had a very special gift made for her", Maria said narrating again as Ruby gasps for air.
"To make the separation easier for both of us." Maria hands her a beautiful music box. Behind them is a servant boy named Oscar Pine, 10, enters through a secret opening in the wall behind Maria's chair, to eavesdrop.
"Hey is that me?" Oscar ask after he makes an appearances this time.
"Oscar is also going to be one of the main casts too, but here he's one of the family servants", Hakaze said what Oscar's role will be but left out some parts.
"For me?! Is it a jewelry box?!" Ruby feeling excited to see what it is while a kitchen servant catches Oscar spying.
"Oscar, you belong in the kitchen." The servant grabs Oscar.
"Let go!" Oscar demanded but left unnoticed by Ruby and Maria, the boy is dragged quickly into the secret door.
"Well that's what you get for spying", Sun said to Oscar.
"But I wanted to see!"
"Not when you have a job to do", Sun said to him again.
"Look." Maria takes out a key, a small silver flower on a neck chain. She puts it into the back of the music box, and winds it and the music box starts playing a song which Ruby knows all too well.
"It plays our lullaby!" Ruby whispered.
"So it's my grandma here always do the lullaby."
"Oh yes Ruby, but in the universe you know, it's your mom", Hakaze said and answered Ruby.
"You can play it at night before you go to sleep. And pretend that it's me singing." Maria said before she starts singing.
"On the wind, cross the sea, hear this song and remember." Then with Ruby joining in.
"Soon you'll be home with me once upon a December." Then Maria hands Ruby the key and reads what it say, close on music box key bearing the inscription "Together in Vale".
"Together in Vale. Really? Oh, Grandmama." Maria smiles and nods. They embrace.
"Oh that's wonderful, my Ruby will would go to Vale with Maria", Summer said and the family and friends are happy for them.
"Sadly things will take a bad start", Hakaze said as the the antagonist is about to be introduce.
Gasp from the crowd and the room falls silent. The crowd parts before a dark figure. A bat swoops down, landing on he dark figures shoulder.
The dark figure is Roman Torchwick, stalking through the crowd, people falling back in fear and surprise, crushing a champagne glass underfoot.
"But we would never be together in Vale. For a dark shadow had descended upon the house of the Roses and Xiao Longs. His name was Roman Torchwick. We thought he was a Holy Man. But he was a fraud, power-mad and dangerous." Maria said narrating again as Roman Torchwick has reached Taiyang, who alone stands firm before him. Mercury, the bat, is perched on Roman's shoulder like a twisted parody of a parrot.
"Oh some I'm the antagonist on this?" Roman said after he makes an appearance.
"Yep, and your Bat friend there is Mercury", Hakaze said which surprises Mercury
"What?"
"But Mercury will not be a villain for long since he's not always a fond of Roman's evil ways, also hear what Roman and Tai is going to say when they confront each other", Hakaze said to everyone.
"How dare you return to the palace." Tai said while stopping Roman in his tracks.
"But I am your confidante!" Roman said which gave the audiences on what Roman meant by that.
"So Roman Torchwick was the most trusted adviser of the Rose and Xiao Long family", James said after hearing what Roman said.
"Yes, but he did things behind the Royal Family's back after he got power hungry. When Tai found out he had him banished", Hakaze explains Roman's back story in this.
"Why you!" Ruby glares at Roman.
"Hey!" Roman looks at Ruby trying to see if she can settle herself.
"Your a bad man for doing things behind the Royal Family's back you know", Cinder mocks him for that.
"Screw you fire spitter."
"Confidante? Ha! You are a traitor. Get out!" Tai reminds him that he is a traitor and tells him to leave the palace.
"You think you can banish the Great Roman Torchwick? By the unholy powers vested in me. I who will banish you with a curse." Roman's words causes Ruby, young Oscar and Maria to gasp.
"Mark my words. You and your family will die within the fortnight. I will not rest until I see the END OF THE ROSE AND XIAO LONG LINE FOREVER!" Then Roman raises the RELIQUARY, sending a bolt of lightning to the Chandelier which crashes to the floor. When light is restored, Roman is gone.
"Roman vows revenge on my family for his banishment", Ruby speaks what Roman is planning.
"Yes Ruby, Roman already has an Army of his own", Hakaze said but won't say who that army is.
"For now let's keep watching."
In a flashback, Roman Torchwick, kneeling in a sorcerer's circle, cowers as a huge, shadowy figure appears above him.
"Consumed by his hatred for Tai and his family, Roman sold his soul for the power to destroy them." Maria narrates what Roman has done to himself just to destroy the Tai and his family.
What we see here is Roman raises his arms in supplication. A shadow, like smoke in a windstorm, leaves Roman, sucked toward the terrible figure. As his soul leaves him, he BECOMES A SKELETON! Then the RELIQUARY materializes in mid-air before Roman's skeleton. It reaches out, grasps it, and Roman RESUMES HIS FORM. We pull in close on the Reliquary in his hand.
"He sold his soul to get that kind of power so he can have his revenge", Cinder said putting the pieces together.
"He's not that killable if any of you tries to stab him or shoot him", Hakaze said to Cinder.
"Just like Salem?"
"Not quite Ozpin."
We go THE RELIQUARY in Roman's hand.
"Go fulfill your dark purpose, and seal the fate of Tai and his family once and for all." Roman holds the Reliquary aloft. The locked gates hold back the crowd of demonstrators.
"Those demonstrators are people who are against the Royal Family and are minions of Roman Torchwick, but they are not the only ones who are helping Roman get his revenge", Hakaze speaks to everyone.
"Oh the demonstrators are also revolutionaries."
Going back to Roman at the palace gates.
"From that moment on, the spark of unhappiness in our Kingdom was fanned into a flame that would soon destroy our lives forever" Maria narrates as smoke wisps from the top of the Reliquary, assuming the form of Roman's gargoyle-like MINIONS. The green gargoyles attack the chain holding the gate shut, breaking it, then a Hailfire-Class Droid smashes through the gate letting the demonstrators pour into the palace.
Crowd with Blaster Rifles storming the palace grounds. Statue of Tai falls to crush. Plus more Battle Droids begin landing from HMP Droid Gunships, MTT, Platoon Attack Crafts, XT Beetle Transports, MUT and Sheathipede-Class Shuttles.
"That was a Hailfire-Class Droid, Roman made a deal with the CIS", Ruby said after recognize that tank droid.
"Yeah, the CIS agree to help Roman's plans in exchange on allowing them to control the Kingdom", Hakaze said what's the deal.
"Now the revolution begins with violence", James said not approving in such violence.
Inside the palace, the Rose and Xiao Long family in nightclothes, running down a hallway
"Help! Help" A random girl cries out.
"Hurry children!" Tai said to them as they attempt to escape.
"Will they make it out at all?" Summer ask Hakaze if they will make it out.
"Sadly not everyone is going to make it out", Hakaze answered that not everyone is going to make it out.
Ruby stops in her tracks, as her family continues down the hallway.
"My music box!" Ruby isn't going to leave without her music box and turns around to retrieve it.
Maria tries to stop her from running back down the hallway to get it but can't. She follows her.
"Ruby! Come back, come back! Ruby!"
"Oh forget the music box!" Weiss protest on it.
"But Ruby just got from her grandma before this happens", Blake said to Weiss.
In Ruby's bedroom, Ruby grabs her music box as Maria rushes in. Blaster fire shots are heard. Oscar bursts in from wall panel. and Mercury on impact of landing on window sill watching them.
"Please hurry!" Maria said to Ruby knowing the Battle Droids are coming for them.
"Come this way, out the servants quarters." Oscar said to them as a loud Blaster fire is heard and coming toward them.
"Hurry, Ruby!" Maria enters the secret doorway. Oscar shoves Ruby in behind her, accidentally knocking the music box out of her hand and dropping it.
"Roman, she's getting away." Mercury alerts Roman who will know thanks to his Reliquary.
"Oh thanks for that", Yang glares at Mercury who earns a smack to the back of the head by Emerald.
"My music box." Ruby said realize that she dropped it while an alarmed Mercury watches Ruby escape.
"Go, go!" Oscar pushes her through as B1 Battle Droids along with a OOM Command Battle Droid armed with E-5 Blaster Rifles burst in the door. He slams the panel shut and puts his body in front of it.
"Good work helping my daughter escape Oscar Pine", Summer thanks him for helping Ruby escape.
"My pleasure, but I think it's just her and Maria who will escape and nobody else", Oscar said.
"Correct, it's just Ruby and Maria who made it out, everyone else in the Royal Family have perished", Hakaze said leaving most sadden.
Mercury, seeing Ruby and Maria escape, flies off looking for Roman.
"Droids, in here." The OMM Command Battle Droid said as they enter the bedroom and approaches Oscar.
"Where are they, boy?" The OMM Command Battle Droid demanded but Oscar throws object them.
In the end, the OMM Command Battle Droid stuns Oscar, Oscar falls unconscious next to Ruby's music box.
"Is Oscar okay?" Ruby worries about what just happened to Oscar.
"He's fine, that was only a stun shot, also when he comes to, he will hang to the music box for now", Hakaze said.
"So your saying Ruby and Oscar will meet again?" Summer said but the course of the film will be at first different.
"Yes, but things will be different when they see each other again", Hakaze said but everyone don't know what that means.
At the Frozen river, with the palace in FLAMES behind them, Maria is running with Ruby across the ice, it is very cold, the women are not dressed for it despite on winter clothes. They pass under a bridge.
"Grandmama!" Ruby called out to her trying to keep up.
"Keep up with me, darling!" Maria said as the little girl looks behind her and gasps.
Angle on Roman Torchwick, leaping down upon them from atop the bridge, landing hard on the ice, grabs a hold of Ruby's ankle and won't let go.
"Roman Torchwick!" Maria said after seeing the evil man.
"Let me go, please!" Ruby begs.
"Let go of my daughter!" Tai yelled like if he's going to lunge at the screen and Qrow is attempting to do the same.
"You let my baby sister go!" Yang did felt like doing the same.
"Let friend Ruby go!" Penny also wants to do the same.
"You'll never escape me, child, NEVER!" Roman said thrashing around.
"Oh, let me go!" Ruby begs again but the end, the ice breaks beneath Roman and he falls into the river.
Ruby wrenches herself free, and sees Roman thrashing about in the water. He's going down, and they lock eyes for a moment, his glowing, hypnotic eyes full of rage and fury. He calls out to the Bat.
"Mercury!"
"Roman!"
"Mercury!"
"Oh" Mercury can't do anything as Ruby escapes with her grandma and Roman sinks to the button of the icily water leaving Mercury with the Reliquary.
"You just left to sink in the button of the frozen water you idiot!" Roman scolds Mercury for not helping him to begin with.
"Hey I'm just a bat and I can't do anything to pull you out", Mercury makes his excuses.
"But that's not the last time we have seen Roman, he will be seen again", Hakaze said that Roman will be seen again.
"At least Ruby is safe", Summer feeling better that Ruby is safe from Roman.
"But sadly friend Ruby's home is gone", Penny said after they saw the palace in flames.
"The question is where will Ruby and Maria go now?" Tai wonders where will they go with their palace home gone.
"Oh, they will be heading for Vale", Hakaze answered, but she knows what's going to happen in this upcoming scene.
St the train station, mass confusion as people shove to get on the train while up in the skies are the CIS Fleet that just show after coming out of hyperspace. Maria and Ruby race to get on, fighting their way through the frightened crowd.
"Ruby hurry, hurry!" Maria said as passengers pulls her on board the train and Ruby is running to catch up.
"Grandma!" Ruby calls out to her trying to reach.
"Here, take my hand. Hold on to my hand!" Maria said as Ruby reaches up and takes Maria's hand. She is desperate, frightened.
"Yes she did it, now all she needs to get onboard", Yang said but that's not gonna happen.
"Don't let go!" Ruby said as close on the two hands, then suddenly, as the train starts to speed up, her small hand slips from Maria's grasp and falls out of the frame.
"AH… RUBY!
"AHHH!" Ruby has stumbled, hitting her head on the ground knocking her unconscious.
"NO! NO! NO!" Yang cried out after seeing that happened.
"FRIEND RUBY!" Penny cries out too.
"RUBY!" Summer cried out in tears.
"RUBY!" Maria tries to jump off the train, but is held back by the OTHER PASSENGERS. She watches as the view of her granddaughter is obscured by a sea of humans and faunus alike disappearing in the distance.
"So many lives were destroyed that night. What had always been was now gone forever. And my Ruby, my beloved grandchild… I never saw her again." Maria narrates as the scene zooms in the portrait of Ruby.
Most in the audiences who were family and friends to Ruby had tears of sadness in their eyes.
"Not to worry everyone, this adventure is just begun", Hakaze said because this was just the prologue.
"Roman hasn't won yet?"
"Yes Weiss, for now everyone including Roman will Ruby died, but not true."
