The camera cut to a distant shot of Wawanakwa Island, "On television, live at Camp Wawanakwa" Chris said in voiceover, the scenes changing as he continued to speak, "Twenty-seven naive and daring teenagers entered in a crazy competition for a million dollar prize. However, they were greeted by an early morning swim and greeted by the exotic and mutated life of the island, which used to be an abandoned biohazard waste dump."

The shot changed to Chris, now standing in front of the toxic sinkhole in the background, "But now it will be the new home of these crazy campers to win a fabulous prize" he said, "Who could be? Find out soon, here on Total...Drama...Island!"

(Theme Song plays)

(The shot opened showing various lights and cameras coming out from various parts of the island, until it cut to a shot panning across the island, showing Chris sitting and drinking a coffee)

Dear Mom and Dad, I'm doing fine. You guys are on my mind

(The shot panned over the cliff until it dipped into the water)

You asked me what I wanted to be. And I think the answer is plain to see...

(Cameron was shown drowning underwater, until a hook lifted him to the surface, where Beardo and Leonard were on a canoe, the latter secretly reading a wizard comic. Beardo was holding the fishing rod until Cameron went flying into the air, causing both of them to tip off the canoe)

I want to be famous!

(Cameron flew into the forest, landing in Dakota's arms, who was sitting on a tree branch, looking for an animal. She, being interrupted, dropped Cameron into a bush on the ground. Brick and Scarlett were seen running together, when Max came out of that same bush and followed behind them, while the three of them passed over Dawn feeding the animals)

I wanna live close to the sun

(At the river, Jasmine with Amy and Sammy were canoeing, Jasmine looked around in amazement while Amy ordered Sammy to paddle harder. Just before they inadvertently fell down by the waterfall in front of them)

Well, pack your bags cause I already won

(While the three of them were falling, on a log in the middle of the waterfall were sitting Rodney and Sam, one reading a book and the other playing on his portable console. Although it wasn't much for the log to break and both of them fell)

Everything to prove nothing's in my way

(It was shown Scott standing next to the confessional cabin, laughing at the two's misfortune, just before a mutant shark came out of the door to scare him and make him runaway)

I'll get there one day...

(We cut inside the Mess Hall, where Chef was making stew while having Shawn and Dave tied up as servers, looking worried. Also at the tables were Jo and Lightning playing tic-tac-toe, where Jo won and blatantly claimed her victory. And there was also Anne Maria spraying herself with hairspray, until Staci irritates her so much by talking to her that she sprays in her face)

Cause I want to be famous!

(Outside near the beach, B was sitting on the stairs listening to music on his headphones as he watched the race between Scarlett, Brick, and a cheating Max finish, with Scarlett coming first, leaving the two breathless, literally.)

Na-Na Na-Na-Na-Na, Na-Na-Na Na-Na-Na-Na

(The camera panned to the shore, where it showed Topher taking off his shirt to swim, and upon noticing the camera he winked. It then showed a group of interns paddling in the water in a canoe, while one of them played at being a "shark" in the water)

I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be Famous!

(Sky set up one of the cameras to show the dock, so she could show off her theatrical expressions, until Sugar pushed her into the water so she had room to show off her "talent." At that, a jet of water fell on her, from Chris who threw it at her from his own hot air balloon)

I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be Famous!

(At nightfall, in the middle of the bonfire, Mike and Zoey were holding hands, smiling at each other, just before Ella intervened in the middle and smiled at them as well, hugging them both and leaving them surprised. The shot zoomed out to show the rest of all the contestants, whistling to the tune while a sign in the middle read "Total Drama Island.")

(Theme Song ends)

The camera panned back to where the previous episode ended, "Welcome Back!" The host greeted the camera, "As you may recall from part one, our 27 contestants were divided into teams of 9 where they will have to work and support each other for a long period of time if they want to survive. On the right; Mike, Zoey, Jo, Lightning, Shawn, Leonard, Beardo, Scott and Anne Maria, they are the team called, 'The Mutant Maggots'!"

The aforementioned team cheered in their largest cheer, Mike, Lightning and Leonard high-fived each other while Zoey and Shawn decided to avoid contact.

"Then we have in the middle; Dave, Sky, Max, Scarlett, Topher, Dawn, Brick, Dakota and Sam, they're known as 'The Poison Frogs'!". The team cheered as well, with Sky and Scarlett high-fiving each other, Dawn doing the peace sign with Brick lifting her up. "And finally on the left; Jasmine, Rodney, Cameron, B, Ella, Staci, Sugar, Amy and Sammy, they are none other than 'The Toxic Rats'!"

The team cheered too, with Amy and Sammy saluting military, B holding Cameron up, and Ella trying to high-five Sugar, but she ignored her, leaving her with her hand raised which was later received by Jasmine.

"Now that you know our teams, it's time to start the first challenge..." Chris said, "The toxic challenge!"

"Uh, excuse me, Chris" Zoey said at the host, "Not that I'm complaining all the time, but shouldn't we have some kind of protection?"

"That's right" Jo nodded, "None of us would be crazy or dumb enough to get close to any biologically hazardous material."

"Don't worry, nothing will happen to you if you get just a little bit closer..." the host replied.

"Duh, we're just inches away from a toxically large sinkhole" she pointed at the bubbling green water, "We should be wondering why nothing is happening to us even though we're at such a considerable distance."

"Okay, okay, I'll get to that, oh, intern Izzy!" Chris called. After a few seconds, a red-haired girl with green eyes suddenly appeared, dressed in an intern uniform but with some scratches.

"At your service, Mr. McLean!" The intern named Izzy said, her tone quite imperious, "Just so you know, I've already fed the snakes, and if you don't believe me, I can show you a bite I got from one of the spiders in the cage..."

"Yeah, whatever, now, check the sinkhole to see what effects it might have on people like these here..."

The red-haired intern walked over to the edge of the sinkhole, inspecting it, even testing her foot there, "It feels warm, like a hot tub, I just need to know if...". She took a few steps back before doing a big flip and splashing into the green water, that caused some of the contestants scream for it.

"Oh dear, is she okay?!" Sky asked, just as scared as the others.

"Calm down..." Chris said strangely relaxed, "Wait in three, two, one...". That's how Izzy emerged from the sinkhole, clinging to a floating barrel, but what little was shown of her scared many. Her skin was now scaly green and had new three eyes sprouted in her front, was yellow with her green pupils now thinner

"Oh wow, that felt so good!" she chuckled, revealing two prominent fangs in her mouth.

"Chris, what the heck just happened to her?!" Dave asked very bewildered

"Turns out severe contact with waste can cause changes to come earlier than expected" Chris said as he watched his intern sit on the barrel, and looking at the rest of her changed body. She had grown four extra hands as well as a tail with the tip shaking like a rattle.

"This should be used in a spa" she said admiring her mutations, "Not only does it feel warm, it gives you an instant makeover"

"Yeah, one that will take you straight to the circus," Scott mocked.

"Chris, you do know that you were the one responsible for this? You know?" Sky pointed at him with a glare. At that, the host pulled out a clipboard with a rather odd signature from Izzy.

"All the interns on this show have signed a strictly legal contract, you work, you mutate, you adapt to the job" he said with a confident smile, "Which reminds me...Izzy, you're promoted! Now you'll be doing all the work that involves toxic waste!"

"Oh, sweet!" she said seemingly happy.

"Okay, I think it's enough to know that you can't get too close to the waste, so, you'll have protection...some of you". The Chef walked over to three things that were covered by sheets, "This protection will be used to keep you safe and with two arms while moving these things...", the Chef pulled back the sheets revealing near each team a pile of five barrels of biohazardous waste, they had rubber bands of each team's color hanging on them, "To keep the environment safe, you will transport these barrels from this point to the camp where you must take them inside the warehouse, the first team to deposit all their barrels will win a very special privilege, the last one must boot out one of their members tonight"

"Yes, but what guarantees our safety?" asked Dave incredulously.

"That's what I meant by protection, each one will get a tool that will help them move the barrels based on their order of arrival, and since Mike had arrived first to the finish line, his team receives a wheelbarrow that can carry a maximum of three barrels at a time" he pointed to a very wide wheelbarrow with two handles on each side. "Scarlett's team will get a wheelbarrow that can only carry one barrel at a time", he pointed to a narrower wheelbarrow with only one handle on the back, "while Amy's team will get nothing more or less than a rope...", he pointed to a rather long rope lying on the ground.

"And what use will that junk be to us?" asked Sugar angrily.

"I don't know, sort it out, because the challenge starts now, see you at the cabins! Or should I say, cabin..." He left on his dirt bike, leaving the three teams with their barrels and tools.

"Okay, team, we need to figure out the wheelbarrow space and figure out where those barrels should go" Jo spoke to the Maggots team, taking a step forward.

"Nuh huh, no one said you were the leader" Lightning told her, "I won an academic decathlon and I'd be the perfect candidate to be the leader."

"I won about 3" Leonard said smiling, "I should be the leader."

"It doesn't matter who's the leader" Anne Maria said a little annoyed, "I just don't want to have to touch one of those disgusting barrels."

Jo looked at the barrels for a moment, "Hmm, Chris said that it can hold up to three, if we stack the other two like a tower, we can carry them all at once!"

"That's just what I thought!" Lightning pointed out, watching Jo glaring at him, "I'm serious!"

Confessional (Beardo):

"I actually thought that from the start" he admitted a little nervously, "I just didn't say it because... I thought they wouldn't take it seriously from me."

End of the Confessional

"Well, mom says you have to stack all the work if you want to finish as quickly as possible" Anne Maria said, arms crossed, "So I think it'll work."

"Don't tell me I'll have to stack them," Zoey said, throwing her hands up nervously.

"Nobody said you had to, red-cleaner," Jo scoffed, "We need someone strong to do it, Mike, you do it?"

"Uh, okay..." the Olympian hopeful said before walking over to one of the barrels and trying to lift one, "Urgh, it's so heavy I can't..." he suddenly gasped deeply and closed his left eye, "URGH! For God's sake, give me a break coach, I'm trying so hard!" he spoke in a grandpa tone.

"You haven't even lifted it off the ground" Anne Maria pointed out, "Don't be so dramatic, Mike"

"Mike? Who's Mike? I'm Chester, winner of the '66 Olympics!". Anne Maria and Zoey looked at each other in total confusion.

Meanwhile with the Poison Frogs...

"Ok, five barrels, one per trip" Sky analyzed, "What should we do?"

"We need to try to move them at the same time and to make less turns" Brick said, "There are nine of us, and there are five barrels, if my math doesn't fail me, one of us will have to use the wheelbarrow to move one"

"But who will that person be?" Scarlett asked

"There's only one way to determine it..." the cheerleader started to play the 'eeny meeny moe game' while pointing at one by one until stopping at, "Sam! You do, buddy?"

The brown-haired boy was playing a game on his portable console, and when he noticed that he was pointing at him he quickly put his console away, "What? I mean, yeah, right"

"Are you sure about this?" the red-haired athlete looked worried at Brick.

"Totally!" he replied, "Now since Sam will be using the wheelbarrow, the rest of us will split into two to move the rest of the barrels to camp, any questions?"

"Um, yeah," Dave said incredulously, "In case you haven't noticed, Sherlock, we need some 'protection' if we want to push them over."

Brick thought for several seconds before noticing Dakota looking at one of the barrels in interest, "Dakota, do you have any more of those fancy gloves of yours?"

"Uh...yeah, I don't like finishing work with dirty hands."

Confessional (Brick):

"And that's when I knew I'd be a good leader if I thought that way" he said proudly to the camera, "And only on the first day...wow, mom would be so proud of me!"

End of the Confessional

Meanwhile on the Rats' side, Amy blew her whistle loudly.

"Alright, soldiers, since I was the first one here, I'll be the one in charge, got it?" Amy said with superiority until she noticed someone raise their hand, "What do you want?"

"Why does that make you the leader?" Jasmine asked, "I mean, aren't we supposed to vote and choose who we like the most?"

"True, but we're not on a film set, so, for you, this is the real world from now on."

Confessional (Jasmine):

"I'd be offended but it's true, my agent only puts me in auditions for boring sitcoms" the young actress admitted, "This is a bit more interesting, and dangerous, but it's a reality show so I don't know what happens next."

End of the Confessional

"Okay, enough of nonsenses, now with this..." Amy lifted one end of the rope, "Does anyone have an idea?"

"I did" Rodney said, "I read in a survival novel where the characters got off an island using some barrels and a rope, and after the girl told the boy to..."

"We're on land, brick brain, think clearly!"

"Speaking of books, that event also happened in Oliver and the Enchanted Reef" Staci said, "Only the protagonists used magic because ancient spells gave them..."

"One, get to the point, and two, say something believable!" Amy snapped, as the team argued further, B slipped away while listening to his headphones

"I know, let's ask Chris to give us more tools" Cameron suggested, "Mom always says if you can't do a task, ask for help!"

"You're like sixteen now" Amy said mockingly, "Grow up!"

"I have an idea, ma'am!" Sammy said, "What if.."

"That won't work at all, Sammy" her own sister snapped.

"But, but..."

"One time when we're filming a scene, we decided that.." Jasmine started talking until she was interrupted

"Nobody cares about your acting life, come up with better ideas!" Amy rebutted, receiving a dirty look from the Aussie.

"What if we called a pink helicopter right here?" Sugar suggested

"What if it had more things like glitter, kittens and..." Ella added until the jersey girl pushed her head.

"That's what I was going to say, don't steal my ideas!"

"UGH, what terrible ideas!" Amy scolded, "Can't anyone here come up with something functional?". She felt someone tap her shoulder and turned around angrily, "What do you want?!", she found out that the person was B and calmed down, "Oh, sorry, my useless teammates were pissing me off, whatever, what's up with you?"

The music fan showed the rope now tied to the five barrels, pulling them together, and keeping one end to pull them

"Wow, B did it" Cameron said, "There must have been something that inspired him to do that while we were arguing..."

Confessional (B):

The boy just listened to electronic music on his headphones while shaking his head

End of the Confessional

'Mike' kept moving the wheelbarrow until he suddenly grabbed his back painfully, "Dang, my newly rested back just twisted, oh, tell me for the love of God that we're almost there"

"We're literally not out of this area yet, you curmudgeons!" Jo scolded him

"Don't talk like that to older people, girl or boy, whatever, I was a star in my time so you better not mess with me!"

"Bah, let's not waste time, let's get this done quickly!" So Beardo and Lightning grabbed both parts of the cart and drove off, with the others following them, except for one who turned to Mike angrily.

"You're pretty useless for being a Olympic hopeful, uh?" Anne Maria snapped at Mike before giving him a soft slap, making him gasp as he looked around

"Hey, where's the others?" Mike asked confused, "Wasn't I supposed to push the wheelbarrow?"

"If your back hurts so much, why do you insist?" Anne Maria walked away from him, leaving him blank.

Confessional (Mike):

"Something tells me I won't last long here..." he said somewhat nervously.

End of the Confessional

"Come on, team, let's run!" Brick said to the others who already wearing gloves grabbed the barrels between two and went into the forest, just as the Toxic Rats followed them.

"And there you have it, three teams made up of nine teenagers on their way to victory" Chris said to the camera, "Which one will emerge victorious and who will end up sunk in defeat? Find out when we get back...". At that moment, he managed to dodge the splash of green water that was heading towards his feet, "Izzy, keep your toxic mess away from me!"

(Commercial Break)

We continue with the Toxic Rats, who went ahead while B moved the barrels from behind, with the help of the rope.

"It's surprising that our weakest bounty is easily leading us to the cabins" Cameron said happily looking around.

"You don't have to thank me, it was just a good strategy on my part" Amy replied as she walked ahead.

"On your part? It was B who came up with the idea!" Jasmine told her, the aforementioned boy also looked at her angrily.

"Buh-huh, nevermind, we're moving forward, right? So it doesn't matter who contributes, on the battlefield it works"

"I don't think so" Sammy told her.

"And what about you? I haven't given you permission to interrupt me yet"

"I'm sorry..."

"Did you know that in a book I read, The Future War, by Jack Hountain, famous contemporary novelist, was inspired by his great-great-grandfather Jerkins Hountain's past to make..."

"Shut that talking beak, you brainless!" Sugar complained beside her.

"I just wanted to tell you about these kinds of stories to entertain you on the way, we all have to cooperate in something, isn't?"

"That's right!" Amy took the end of the rope from B and walked over to her, "Would you really like to cooperate in something?"

"Yes!"

"Okay..." she handed the rope to his hands and walked away, "Keep up the pace"

Further back, Lightning and Beardo moved the wheelbarrow forward, until they then stopped to catch their breath

"Hey, CO2 releasers!" Jo spoke to them, "Aren't you going to keep pushing?"

"We have to rest" Beardo replied, "Union laws, remember?"

"Yeah, I counted everything we covered, and we covered exactly 8 kilometers in an hour" Lightning pointed out, "Which means 20 minutes of rest for Lightning."

"I'll take care of the rest of the way" Mike said as he walked over to the wheelbarrow but Jo stopped him.

"Didn't your back hurt?" she asked out of the corner of her eye.

"Um, hey, it's healed up now, can I help now?"

"If you want to do that you could stop contradicting yourself for the rest of the day, is anyone else going to move this?"

"Well, we need some female labor" Anne Maria said as she walked past Zoey, "Help me with this, Red."

"Me? Moving that polluting stuff out of there?" Zoey said rather nervously, pointing at the barrels.

"We're just moving the bars of the wheelbarrow, it's not like you have to get your hands dirty."

"But it's made of metal, what if some of the liquid drips on it and all its extremely toxic microorganisms spread all over the wheelbarrow?"

"Okay, germaphobe" Jo started, "I'm the one who gives the specifics here, so you better start moving with big hair right now."

"Didn't you see what happened to that intern? What if that happened to me?! I want to be a doctor, and a normal person too, and I'll never be able to be one if I end up like her!"

"Well, a lot of medical students would have it all figured out if they had a million dollars in their hands, and look, you can get it here; but you can only get it if you stop acting like a baby and start moving that wheelbarrow..."

Zoey gulped, before gathering her courage and grabbing the handrail of the wheelbarrow, very cautiously as she moved it alongside Anne Maria.

Confessional (Zoey):

"That's the riskiest thing I've done so far, I don't even feel my hands clean with these gloves on..." she lifted her white gloves and moved them as far away as possible. possible from her, "I think I'll just throw them away and get new ones, just in case."

End of the Confessional

On the other hand, with most of the Poison Frogs, many were trying hard to lift their barrels, they had formed into pairs of two. Brick with Dakota, Sky with Dave, Max with Scarlett, and Topher lifting his with Dawn holding on to it.

"This island is bigger than I expected" Brick said as he wiped away the sweat without touching his forehead, "But don't worry, we just have to hold on to this weight as much as we can."

"Or we could give their something to slow down the other teams and avoid the hassle?" Max suggested wickedly, "What do you say?" he looked at Scarlett who just rolled her eyes.

"Let's not cheat, we better believe in ourselves to be able to do it," Sky said optimistically.

"Wow, what an extremely generic comment you said" Dave mocked, with the same neutral look as always.

"Hey!"

"Let's not argue and keep moving," Brick told them before looking around, "Hey, what about Sam?". Sam was seen moving around them in circles, carrying his own barrel on the cart as if it were a shopping cart.

"What the heck are you doing?" Scarlett asked incredulously.

"I feel like I'm inside a jet through the cosmos, I can move so freely!" he said as he had fun going around in circles.

"Sam, stop, that thing is unstable..." Brick warned him before Sam tripped and dropped the wheelbarrow, as well as the barrel that rolled a little on the ground. The rest of the team looked shocked, just before the barrel sprang a leak that spilled toxic substance on the ground.

"Oh no, mother earth is being hurt!" Dawn exclaimed in total horror.

"Wait, I'll take care of it..." Sam told them before searching in his backpack and taking out a bandage, which he threw into the small crack of the barrel, thus closing the toxic leak. He walked with total confidence, "See? There's nothing to worry about..." suddenly he noticed that he stepped in a small green puddle, causing it to burn, "Ah, my shoe!". He managed to take off his shoe in time, only to see it melt due to its exposure to the substance, leaving his entire team perplexed.

Confessional (Sam):

"Since my family travels a lot and all, I always bring my trusty backpack just in case I need something to help me out," he said, before looking down at his right feet, completely barefoot, "Though I'm sad I didn't bring any spare shoes."

End of the Confessional

Meanwhile, back to the start of the challenge. The blue-green haired intern from before was walking next to another intern, who had brown skin and brown hair.

"Hey Gwen, what do you think Chris means when he says Izzy got 'freaky'?" the latter intern asked, calling her partner by her name

"I don't know, Courtney, but it's Izzy, she's always freaky" Gwen replied to her, until they stopped to see Owen standing at the edge of the sinkhole, "Owen, what are you doing here?"

"Just looking at the most extraordinary girl on the planet" he said, just as they noticed what he was looking at. It was Izzy, mutated, playing in the toxic green water as if it were a pool.

"Ok... that's beyond bizarre, even for her."

"You girls should go inside!" Izzy told them, floating face up, "It's like having your own private hot spring"

"And end up with a ruined life as a circus freak? No thanks!" the intern named Courtney replied, looking at her fellow mutant with disdain before turning to Gwen, "Would you do me a favor, Gwen?"

"Yes?" she asked.

"If Chris ever sends me to do something that has to do with toxic waste, I want you to do it for me, thanks..." The goth looked at her frowning as she left.

After a while, the Toxic Rats reached the incline of a large hill, which when they stopped there was when they noticed not only one of the cabins down ahead, but also the three warehouses next to it, each with a team logo on top, and of course, there was theirs.

"I see our warehouse right up ahead!" Cameron pointed out excitedly

"Are we there yet?" Staci asked, who was further behind, pulling the barrels until she couldn't take it anymore and collapsed to the ground, "Are you sure you don't want me to tell you the story of the Star Boy? That's all I can tell you for now..."

"Don't worry, Sheila, I'll take care of it" Jasmine said, taking the rope, but Amy snatched it from her

"Nah huh, we're so close to completing the mission that I don't want some misfit like you ruining it" she said, staring at her.

"What's wrong with you? I just want to help" Jasmine tried to take the rope away from her.

"Come on, it's obvious you don't know how to do anything other than act in front of a camera, spoiled brat"

"...Repeat what you just said"

"Spoiled...brat"

"Uh, should we intervene?" Rodney asked, watching as they fought over the rope.

"Please, this is getting interesting" Sugar commented.

"Girls, stop it!" said Cameron trying to calm them down, "My mom tells me not to get distracted with the tass because if not...". At that moment the two girls pulled so hard on the rope that they untangled the knot holding the barrels, letting them fall and since they were on a very steep hill, they began to roll down, "...everything will go wrong"

"Everyone spread out and grab what you can!" Amy ordered the others who began to run down the hill in order to catch all the barrels.

While they ran to get their things back, the Mutant Maggots had already arrived in front of the warehouses, specifically theirs. Anne Maria and Zoey stopped pushing the wheelbarrow to start resting, the latter was rather spraying disinfectant spray on her own gloves

"Oh no, the vault has a key" Lightning said as she looked at the closed door of the vault, which had a large knob in the center, "But don't worry, Lightning knows how to guess keys! I just have to write down all the available combinations and then..."

Beardo stepped forward turning the knob, thus opening the vault, "Hey, the vault doesn't have a key...", at that, Lightning closed it again.

"Close it, you fool, Lightning wasn't done!"

"Idiot, just open it!" Jo scolded him, who angrily opened the vault again, "Quick, before the others get there!"

Most of the members started grabbing each barrel two at a time to get them into the vault, however there were some complaints and setbacks

"Woah, don't shake it too much, dude" Shawn warned Beardo who was grabbing one of the barrels, "According to what I read, those things can explode and turn us into ZOMBIES!"

"Whatever you want, weirdo, just put it in!" Jo told him

"Here, Zoey!" Mike called to the redhead, he was holding a barrel heavily, which scared her, "Help me with this barrel"

"I don't know, what if touching it directly makes me get contaminated immediately?" she said quite worried, "Besides, these gloves aren't suitable for hazardous materials!"

"Zoey, please, I can't take it anymore..." that's when the barrel fell out of his hands, and crushed his feet, making him scream, "Oh, damn, it's serious?!". Suddenly he gasped and her look and tone returned to the grandpa tone, "Oh, you stupid, clean-loving girl, if it weren't for you I could still run the 1967 Alberta Marathon!"

Meanwhile, the Rats were still trying to catch the barrels one by one, which kept rolling on the ground, causing difficulties for the team. Amy and Sammy collided with each other, Rodney slipped when one passed by his feet, and even Cameron tried to catch it by himself.

"I got this!" he said as he tried to grab a barrel that was rolling right at him, but it ended up rolling him over like a mass, leaving him sunk in the grass, "I don't got this..."

At that moment, the Frogs had reached the warehouses and were placing their barrels inside theirs, one by one. Suddenly a horn sounded loudly, just when a team had filled their vault.

"The Mutant Maggots have won the challenge!" announced Chris who was walking near them. The winning team cheered at this, Lightning and Leonard high-fived each other and Anne wanted to do the same with Zoey but she moved away a bit, telling her that she didn't want so much physical contact, despite having gloves on, "However, we have to determine which team is safe and who isn't, it's between the Frogs and the Rats!"

"Quick, we have to get more barrels in!" Brick said to the others worriedly.

"We've already got all the barrels we had " Scarlett told him.

"There's one missing here!" Sam warned, coming from far behind, pushing the wheelbarrow forward until one of its wheels got stuck in a hole, "Damn it, now what?"

"Pick up that barrel and bring it over here," Brick encouraged, gesturing for him to come over

The young tourist grabbed the barrel, and with all his strength he ran straight to the vault. However, one of the rolling barrels surprised him, causing him to trip but at the same time he clung to it, running on it while it continued to roll unsteadily. His other teammates stepped aside when he collided with the vault and landed on his back.

Tension began as everyone watched the barrel fall from the sky, until it landed and...for some strange reason, it went into the vault at the same time that its strong impact caused it to close.

"And the Poison Frogs can live another day!" Chris announced, causing the aforementioned team to cheer in relief.

Meanwhile, Amy had grabbed one of the barrels, smiling victoriously.

"Target locked!" she said, placing it firmly on the ground, however this caused the barrel to form a crack from below, which caused it to spill its dangerous substances, causing that part of the grass to burn. She and the others who were nearby took steps back from the small biohazardous leak.

"Maggots, as winners of the challenge, you not only get immunity but you also get to have the place where only the winners will stay...". A helicopter came to grab a large blanket covering something with its hook, and when it was revealed, it showed itself as a small, more refined house, two stories high, and with a hot tub installed. "The McLean brand eco-friendly luxury house, has decorated rooms and bathrooms, special breakfast and even a jacuzzi!"

"Oh, the bathrooms have soap?" Zoey asked

The host answered the question confused, "Uh, yeah." The redhead clapped her hands happily at this, "Frogs, you may not have won the luxury accommodation and will have to sleep in a filthy cabin tonight, but for now, you're safe...unlike the Toxic Rats," said team introduced themselves embarrassed, "I will see all you tonight at the elimination ceremony, and pick who you like the least, because one of you...is going home" they groaned in defeat.

"This sucks!" Amy growled angrily

"Yeah, we lost..." Staci said, before chuckling and starting to talk, "This reminds me of another Henry book, when the protagonist's team lost..." as she talked more, the other members of her team looked at her strangely, angry, and obviously, irritated.

Already at night, all the members of the Toxic Rats walked straight to the bonfire area, some looking neutral and others nervous. When they all sat down on what looked like logs, they saw Chris standing in front of them.

"Welcome, Rats, to the first elimination ceremony!" He announced, "Every night, a losing team comes here, and that's you, and after you've cast your votes, we'll proceed to our ritual, but first, I want you to meet someone important here..." he pointed to who appeared to be the Chef, but this time wearing a shirt and tie, "Chef Hatched is not only a chef, but he was also a great prosecutor, he will be in charge of pointing out all the actions that could get you eliminated"

"Yes, and I have a lot to say" the Chef clarified before pointing to the first accused competitor, "Amy, you appointed yourself as the team leader, but what you did was insult your teammates, reject their ideas and also do a little damage to the environment"

"Sir, if you'll allow me" she objected politely, "These guys need an iron fist to function, that's what my father said, therefore, I was doing the right thing"

"Staci, you kept talking about your favorite readings that no one was interested in and that only annoyed the others"

"But I just wanted to express to everyone what I like" she tried to defend herself.

"And finally, Cameron..."

"What did I do?" he asked nervously

"Nothing, but you look like someone really weak, and nobody wants to have a weak link with their"

"Thanks for those nice words, Chef!" Chris said before pulling out a tray full of marshmallows, "Now, with the elimination, it will be with the next dynamic... each one will receive a marshmallow, if you get one, it means you're safe, everyone will get it... except one, and that person will receive a very special one."

Chef put on rubber gloves before opening a small metal box that contained a marshmallow that glowed neon green, which worried many.

"This is the toxic marshmallow of the loserdom, if you get it, you're out..." Chris checked the votes one by one, "Have you understood correctly? Well, let's begin, the first marshmallow goes to...Jasmine!"

The Australian smiled happily as she caught the marshmallow with her hands

"Next one goes to... Rodney!"

The librarian in training also happily caught his.

"Also next up, Ella, Sammy, B and Sugar!"

The four received their marshmallows, leaving the three who were called by Hatched quite nervous.

"Two of you will only be safe, and the first is... Amy!" The blonde caught her marshmallow in relief as she smiled at her sister, "Campers, this is the last marshmallow for the night...", the ones left were Cameron and Staci who looked on nervously, "And the person who will be staying here is..."

"Cameron!"

The farmer sighed in relief as he received his marshmallow

"Aww, but I was doing so well" she said sadly.

"Don't be discouraged, you can still have the marshmallow of loserdom, oh Chef!"

"Sheila, you'd better duck!" Jasmine warned.

"Wait, if that marshmallow is toxic and mutates, it might give me some cool powers!" Staci said as she put her palms out in front of her, "I'm ready!"

That's how she let that shiny marshmallow land in her hands, which caused all of her hair to fall out, she blinked in bewilderment before turning around and noticing that her now older teammates had walked away from her, looking at her also bewildered. She sighed as she dropped the marshmallow and stood up, "I guess this is the end of my journey."

"It seems so," Chris said before pointing towards the dock, "The Boat of Losers awaits you there...". The now bald Staci walked with shame and embarrassment to the dock, and got on the boat when it came for her, leaving the island never to return. "And as for you viewers..." Chris said looking at the camera, "That's all for now, but don't worry, we still have a LOT to see here, for that, tune in next time to Total...Drama...Island!"

Final Comments (Staci):

"Well, there goes all my expectations down to the drain," she said sadly, "Being the first boot is the worst, but hey, I did some things I never thought I'd do, like surviving a toxic fountain, so at least that's something? I'd like to write all these experiences in my first book, although I was hoping to last longer for that..." She watched how away was her from the island, "Well, I guess I'll write down all the ones the others tell me, although I should stop being so annoying with them, yeah, that would be a good change for me..."

Author's Notes:

So here we are again. First challenge, first elimination, and I think many people saw it coming. Staci is not a very hard worker and by doing her here I already knew she would go first. Although at least she will "redeem" herself a little bit with what she said in her final comments (this is something I added at the last minute, I think it makes the goodbyes less anti-climactic)

In order not to talk so much about the interactions and the characters, comment in your review who was your favorite and who you root for to win. We also have other interns, like Courtney, and the not-so-normal-anymore Izzy, who has "voluntarily" mutated due to contact with some intact waste, but let's be honest, Izzy wouldn't care in the slightest, nor that this is a big change

By the way, I think that speaking of this... I have to say this thing right now, ALL the interns that will appear here... will get mutated, yes, they'll get mutated... sooner or later. I say this now because I want to make fanarts of their upcoming designs so that no one gets spoiled by accident. And yes, I am aware that this is something that will be shocking for many (I even fear that some may leave the story because of this)

But just so you know, very unlike the ATROCITY we had in Revenge of the Island, here I will make their mutations valuable in some way for the plot, that their don't be insulting, and that above all, they make sense. So don't worry, your waifu/husband may now be in danger of becoming "ugly", but rest assured that she/he will be treated with RESPECT by me, even if I don't like some of them like Courtney

But anyway, I hope you enjoyed these first two episodes, let me tell you in advance that the others up to episode 5 are already done or should be published each one in each week. So it will be until next week for you to see if this continues, so be patient

On the following Wednesday we will see how the competitors answer questions while some of their teammates implore them not to make mistakes, or else...
