The Fenton family along with other community members were diligently working at trying to reinforce the sandbag barricade. The water was rushing from the recently destroyed doorway bag, after bag was stacked slowly building higher over the shin high water level.

"Nice of your boy to help fix the damages he helped cause, Jackie" Joanie hissed as she dropped her sandbag into the water. "Real heroic, leave us all here to fend off this disaster and leaving little kids at the risk of drowning"

Jim slammed his sandbag down, slightly shifting it in place to fill in the cracks on the wall. The rain and rising flood waters were strenuous enough without the added badgering of his sister. With a heavy chested pant he staggered backwards falling onto a cot with a splash. His heart was pounding in his chest, it had been sometime since he had done such exerting labor. "Jimmy, take it easy buddy" Jack called out. He was worried about his brother but until the barricade was built they were still in the woods. "Hey prude! How about lending us a hand!"

Jeremy Manson glared at Jack as several others from the barricade looked back at him. On his perched cot with a bottle of coke in his hand. "Excuse yourself Fenton, I'm monitoring the food rations" he snapped.

"Looks more like you're indulging in the rations" a woman shouted from the supply room as herself and others tried using buckets to bail water from the floor and dump it down the drains. The younger kids were kept on the higher stage away from the water while most of the adults worked to make the center safe again. Tucker sat in a corner remotely controlling the towns' ghost net to match Valerie's weapons frequency. While trying to ignore Sam, who was still irked about having to be left behind despite being part of team Phantom.

"I'm serious Tucker, he is actively leaving us behind while bringing Valerie and Danielle along for almost every call" Sam groaned.

"You could try doing as Danny instructed and help the towns people, we're more useful here Sam when we're not under Danny's feet. I've tweaked the cameras and scopes to track Danny and even repositioned the new thermos cam"

"Geek to English Tucker, please" Sam moaned, boredom not withheld from her voice.

Tucker sighed, heavily with a dramatic eye roll. "Danny and I came up with an idea to have the ghost cams outfitted Fenton thermos, so we could catch ghosts on the fly. Danny might get some slack for ditching class to bag a ghost but if it's only a little weakling that can be picked off with a thermos then it's not worth the time right?"

"Why wasn't I brought in on this?" Sam asked.

"Municipal deal with a community contractor, not really a team Phantom discussion" Tucker nonchalantly replied. He wasn't watching Sam but he could hear her eye twitching at his response. Sam always took offense if the guys did any ghost related activities without her input. "it's not a big deal Sam and not something worth getting grouchy over"

"The waters coming over the wall!" someone screamed from the opening "get to the roof!"

Panic ensued. People were clamouring and forcing through one another parents shoved people to get to their kids. Teenagers pushed their way to the stairway as the water crashed into the barricade and walls. The glass shattered as one swift rolling wave broke through. Those still wading in the water were bowled over and washed under the water surface, briefly.

"We're going to die in here!"

"oh dear, this just won't due now will it" came a sweet elderly voice. Almost instantly the doorway and shattered windows were sealed by what looked like a large pizza dough. "Casper high pizza dough, so dense it can stop a hurricane"

"Lunch lady?" Tucker gasped "never thought I'd be so happy to see you… with school cafeteria food no less"

Lunch lady then turned to the kitchen area where poin Dexter was seen funneling the water into the drains. Slowly draining the water with haunted mops cleaning what was left. "You'll be safe now dearies" she announced "if all of you would please be patient I'll have some hot food ready for everyone"

"Lunch lady and Dexter just saved us?" Sam asked.

"Thankfully, yes" Tucker replied. "They've been helping out around town as part of their deal with D, she helps shorthanded restaurants and Dexter is a counsellor at Camp crystal"

"Since when?" Sam demanded.

As the harbor came into the storm intensified over the water, specifically over a reverse whirlpool. Something was rising from the water. Dash was flailing high above the water still snared by Arman's grip. "Please, please take me back! I didn't do nothing to you!" Dash pleaded.

Arman tightened his grip around Dash's throat. Leaving Dash to gasp for air as the Iron maiden rose to his feet. As the maiden opened the bodies of the two divers forward, plummeting into water below. "For my wife I'd burn you just as you did her. But watching the village be reclaimed by nature will serve that, your death, by the sentence you decreed upon me will be satisfying. Listening to your screams as you sink to the bottom will be an everlasting joy"

"Phantom express coming through!" Danny shouted as he raced between the ghost grabbing Dash as he did so. "Get out of here Dash" he ordered. As Danny rounded back at the ghost he saw both Dani and Valerie had started blasting, Dani's ecto beams were just passing right through but Valerie's blasts had both landed. Knocking the ghost to water sending the iron maiden down again into the depths. "Nice shooting Val" he chuckled "did you get him?"

Before Valerie could respond Arman erupted from the water surrounded in a sphere of water and lightning. "you showed up again boy? And you brought help" he snickered. The lightning began crackling "but you should have turned tail and ran, now I will destroy you" the bolts slithered like snakes preying after Danny. He quickly created an ice wall which shattered but allowed Danny time to back track and ready himself.

With a wave of his hand Armen created a pillar of water jetting up from the bay "not this time!" Danny grunted as he returned the blast with a block of ice "Dani! Freeze the bay let's cut this jerks resources off!" he ordered.

Red blaster bolts shot across the sky, peppering the water shield but Arman paid it no mind as his finger nails began to glow red. He lunged at Danny, leaving his protected shield, and no sooner had he done so, Valerie fired another bolt blasting Armen in the back of the head. Danny quickly followed up with a strong right hook knocking Armen backwards. Then followed up with a barrage of punches.

Danielle was at work freezing the bay, and was nearly done when Armen crashed into the ice. Luckily ghost ice was a lot denser preventing Armen from breaking through. As he rose once more Danielle charged at him coating her fist in ice. She struck hard and fast sending Armen flying across the ice "Danny! He's open"

Armen recovered. Digging his nails into the ice and skidding to a stop his eyes flashed a deep searing red with anger as Danny came raining down on him. "This is over for you boy!" he screamed. He dug his fingers into the ice attempting to melt it, with no avail.

Danny sped across the ice at full throttle his ecto-energy radiating from his fist. The glow slowly began fade between his fingers but his fist began to slightly enlarge. His strike landed but the concussive force from his compressed power punch rippled through the air. Pressure cracks split like spider webs from the impact point and where Armen fell on his buckling knees was now a slight crater. He was stunned and left motionless in a heap.

Danny reached for his thermos when his fingers failed to grab the cylinder. Pulling his arm back around he saw his lower right forearm was missing. "Are you serious!" he shrieked "again? That's twice this month!"

He was suddenly thrown backwards, with enough voltage to jump start a tractor coursing through his body. Danny slid across the ice just as Armen phased under it. As he vanished the storm began to dissipate, the rain was slowing down, the wind had vanished and with the bay frozen the swells were settled. Even the clouds had vanished the refreshing glow of the summer sun bathed Amity in a warming glow but the light revealed the ruined state of the town. Amity was devastated.

"Is that it?" Dani asked. "Is it over?"

Sitting himself upright Danny shook his head "I never got the thermos, he got the drop on me" he lifted his currently regenerating right arm. "Tried the compression punch again"

"Danny, mom told you to prefect that move before using it because you keep blowing up your limbs, dummy" she sighed. Dropping onto her knees Dani sat with her brother while waiting for Valerie to catch up. "So, he's vanished?"

"Yeah"

"Amity is in ruin?"

"for now, I'll make a call later"

"Oh, Tucker made that call….you owe Desirae a kiss"

"I owe Des a what?"

"A kiss, Tucker made the deal when you were incapacitated"

"Val shot him yet?"

"Not yet but it's coming"

"great, but either way we need to fix the town and Des is the fastest, not to mention cheapest way possible…could you imagine the bill if the town had to go through insurance?"

"Can you imagine the carnage if Des asks for then a kiss?"

Danny's face suddenly paled. "You know what, I'm sure Desirae would be reasonable"

"She's doing it for petty jabs at Sam" Dani finished.

"The concubine remarks?"

"More on the lines of high school share plater comparisons"

"petty and juvenile" Danny remarked.

Valerie landed nearby resting her rifle. "Is that it?" she asked.

Danny shook his head. "he slipped away"

"well get him, but for now you're up and healthy again" Valerie added turning to Danny cupping his face in her hands and pressing her lips to his. Which he happily returned. A smile dancing on her lips as they parted "If you let Desirae kiss you like that…I'll shoot you both"

"Could you kiss me like that again" Danny chuckled.

Valerie's eyes narrowed with slight amusement, she could have a lot of fun with this. But for now she was just going to enjoy it. she grabbed Danny by the front of his shirt and pulled him in again. With a lot more passion behind this kiss as if making her claim.

"get a room you two, yuck" Dani groaned with a fake retching noise following her gag.

The two older teens parted with satisfied smirks on their faces. "in due time pipsqueak, there's a town to fix first and a ghost to bust" Valerie finished.
